Pros: Firstly, the location was perfect - very quiet, clean and quaint. Providencia is close enough to all the areas of interest, while being far enough away to be sheltered from the bustle of the city. The B&B itself is very clean and lovely - a great place to for friends, partners or even traveling by yourself. The staff were amazingly helpful! They provided wonderful service and helpful advice. They went above and beyond for my friend who has lost all of her credit cards and passport, letting her have her new credit cards sent to the De Blasis, even though we weren't guests there anymore. We are so thankful to them! And finally, the breakfast was great! A nice variety for people who just want to eat something before heading out for the day.

Pros: Absolutely wonderful and helpful staff. Helped us with booking transportation since we are not fluent in Spanish. Loved the fact that the front desk was staffed all 24 hours, and that there was a locked gate to be buzzed through felt very secure. Staff is what made the stay amazing. Super cute building, well decorated. Nice breakfast. Amazing location; lots of restaurants and bars with walking distance! One of our favorite parts of our trip.

There’s a cute little courtyard at the entrance that we were able to use. Very nice area close to the subway, to restaurants, ice cream shops.

Cons: More of a hostel flair overall, despite its private rooms, so okay in general if you get a good price but lacking some love in the details and interior of the pretty basic rooms. Everything could have been a bit cleaner/fresher/fixed up and the furniture in rooms wasn’t well thought out and somewhat impractical/no space for luggage or storing clothes.

Pros: The location is excellent and the decoration is beautiful. The staff was really nice.
Cons: Our room was at the back of the property and there is a school behind the hotel. Let's just say it is impossible to sleep in during the week. The screaming began around 7am. The room we stayed in wasn't as clean as I expected and wasn't well maintained either.

Pros: The location is excellent. It is located on a quiet, beautiful tree-lined street. It is a very short walk to the Manuel Montt metro station. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: While most staff members were knowledgeable about the area and places to go, there were a few instances where we it seemed they didn't quite know where things were located in the city. Of course, when we stayed there the situation was a little different than normal (nationwide protests and closures of certain metro stations) so I might give them a pass here.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, tidy, spacious room. Breakfast has a good variety of choices
Cons: We enjoyed our stay at Casa De Todos. It was walkable to several restaurants. We were surprised that not all the front desk staff spoke English. One of the front desk evening staff members on our first night there didn't speak any English and we struggled to understand each other through Google Translate. There is no elevator, and my husband and I both had heavy suitcases so carrying them up that stairs was challenging and scary, as the stair case gets really narrow on one side and the hotel staff told us to stay to the left when walking up! An interesting experience for sure! It was a clean and nice stay for a B&B, keep in mind it's definitely not a hotel, and I was a bit surprised by the super high ratings on this site. Also do due to protests in Santiago, we were not able to walk very far at night, which doesn't have anything to do with this hotel but if this hotel was in a more trendy neighborhood there may have been more to offer to do.

Cons: Having experienced other properties in Santiago eg apartments which cost less..i was disappointed that the room was dark. The bathroom was small to negotiate. It was noisy when somebody was showeringabove as the water gushed through the pipes. The hotel is very clean but could do with a bit of sprucing up..especially the skirting boards. However, this is based on a short stay and not having seen the other rooms..it may be rather a limited point of view.

She arranged my return taxi to the bus station at night and kept my bags safe and secure all day. The breakfast was also good. It was nice to sit with the other guests.
