10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazingly friendly & helpful. The design & location of the hotel were beautiful. The lobby, our room and the swimming pool area were clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends & family!
Cons: The bathroom door in our hotel room was broken. Otherwise, the room was in great condition!
9,1 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very clean. The staff were all pleasant, professional and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. It's a very short walk to great restaurants, shopping and Petco Park. I would definately stay here again.
Cons: Parking at the hotel was very expensive ($47 per day). The rooms were a little small for the cost of them and it would have been nice if there was a mini-fridge in them. There is also no "sundries" store, so if you want a drink or a snack there is no where to get that. We also called for room service and no one answered the phone.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very well located when we want to be in the city center. There is a lot of options to eat around and inside the hotel, the room is nice and a lot of sunny coming through the windows!
Cons: The housekeeping was not as good, we have some problems of stain in the lining, but they were fast changing for new clean ones. The services inside the hotel was quite expensive but good quality!
7,0 Good
Cons: The food wasn't my favorite. In room dining

Pros: The hotel was amazing, I loved every second of it as did my family. We will be back when we are travelling again to America.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great, location with a well designed and comfortable room. Pool area is well kept
Cons: My pet hate! The hotel felt the need to charge USD 25 under the amenties section. They said it’s a resort fee, ie to use the hotel. So all their good service goes out the window for USD 25 as you feel ripped off when you leave! For a small amount versus the rate is it really worth doing this?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Pendry Team is absolutely top-notch. Each team member regardless of job description is warm, polite, welcoming and eager to go above and beyond the call of duty at every opportunity. I love the overall aesthetic as well. A stunning property.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and spacious room.
Cons: Despite the spacious room, the layout of the room could have been better: the toilet could have been separate, there were two chest of drawers (living room and bedroom), so there was no need to put an additional one inside the wardrobe which prevented you from hanging dresses, coats and trousers. The bathroom could have been smaller and the bedroom larger.

Pros: See above and excellent service. In the heart of seaport village while still close to Gaslamp district and Little Italy.
Cons: Had a noise issue but management went beyond expectations to compensate.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: When we arrived we were impressed by the very imposing building and the friendly Receptionist, although porters to assist us with our luggage had been conspicuous by their absence. Our room – a superior King on the 35th floor - was very large with amazing views of the city and marina/port and the bathroom was spacious, with a large shower. Our room gave us access to the 33rd floor Grand Club Lounge where we had breakfast every day. The selection was very good, including some hot dishes. Twice we returned mid- afternoon to find our room still hadn’t been serviced but, after phoning Housekeeping the first time to see if there was a problem, we didn’t complain because the lady cleaning our room was so nice, very efficient and obviously working flat out. On two successive evenings we had drinks and snacks at The Landing on the ground floor. The service was friendly and efficient and the food, chosen from an imaginative snack menu, was very tasty and beautifully presented. Our favourite was the seafood salad although we also enjoyed the ‘compile your own’ cheeseboard. We were pleased and surprised when they refused to charge for the iced tea. We enjoyed our stay her. One last thing that we must mention is that there was excellent provision of USB sockets.

Pros: Excellent location, 3 minutes away on foot from the Gaslamp Quarter and 10 from Little Italy. Nice breakfast joint right nearby called the Corner. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Free coffee/tee in the morning. Gym is small but the equipment is top notch for the needs of a traveller.
Cons: The hotel is excellent. No issues whatsoever, apart from their valet parking which is a different company called Laz Parking. 9,0 Excellent
Cons: The selection of breakfast items was a bit limited. But overall still a great experience.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast provided was awesome. But the bedroom and bathroom area was a little tight for a family suite. We were a family of five and having to share a bathroom with children with no bathroom fan was definitely an experience.
Cons: I did not like having to pay for parking in addition to the price of the hotel stay. would have liked larger bedroom and bathroom quarters for a family suite.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Noise on the upper level
10,0 Excellent
Pros: this place is great! I changed my reservations so that we would be back at this hotel on the last 1/3 of our vacation. I had initially booked this hotel for the first 1/3 of my vacation, then we were up in LA for the second 1/3, and coming back to San Diego for the last 1/3 of the vacation. After staying here the first part, I knew I wanted to be back at this hotel, so I booked to stay here again for the last 2 days (cancelled the other hotel that I had booked); see my first review of this hotel for more information
10,0 Excellent
Pros: hotel is perfect for families; rooms are spacious (we booked two queen bed room) and consists of a separate bedroom from a living room and half kitchen; location is good for accessing all parts of San Diego (quick highway access to go anywhere); staff at hotel are super friendly; included breakfast and afternoon happy hour are great to get a little food before heading out or just coming home; kitchen in room is convenient, with full size refrigerator and dishwasher, two burner stove (kinda weak but can cook), and microwave; pots/pans and dishware/utensils are included, but you will want to bring your own spices and dish soap + scrubber) if you plan to cook in. note that the hotel is on the side of a hill, so the first floor is "underground" at the rear of the building, and the second floor is the "ground" level in the rear, so if you don't want to not have a window on ground level, ask for 3rd floor and up (to 5th floor) to ensure that you are not ground level location is great as it's just off the highway, which gives you easy access to anything in San Diego, easy drive (10min) to Balboa Park (zoo), and easy access to beaches (10-20min depending which beach), and also north towards LA; parking is $21/day, but you're going to pay this (or more) at any hotel you stay at these days
Cons: on-site laundry (4 washers, 4 dryers) was a bit expensive ($4.00/wash or dry), shower water had fluctuating water temperature while showering; hotel is in a good location, but not for walking to anything, so plan to drive (they do have a bus stop right at the front of the hotel, but I don't know what the schedule and direction are, call the hotel to find out), and there are shopping centers (target, etc.) just to the east of the hotel (just can't walk there)
10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Kid friendly, there were many families staying there our child found someone to play with the courtyard. The courtyard is a wonderful place to relax with your coffee in the morning or evening and the kids can play. The pool and hot tub enjoyable.
Cons: One afternoon a group of young ladies came to the pool area with out proper swim suits and should not have been in the pool. We were one of two families with kids in the pool. The problem was reported to the front desk.

Pros: We loved everything about this hotel. The location-very close to everything because it is in the south-center of the city, the room-which was super clean and cozy, the view- water front view which you can have on any part of the hotel because of its position but I highly recommend the Marina view, the staff-who was very helpfull. For sure when we will come back, this hotel will be the only option.

Pros: The gentleman who checked us in was great!(Hispanic gentleman) I wish I could remember his name. He loves his work. We checked in around 12.30 on 12/31/2019. He was gracious, professional, joyful and welcoming. He was also very knowledgeable.
Cons: Two front desk clerks who coukd not answer simple questions about the best way to get around, or even where the closest stores were. Disappointing. The neighborhood in general is not friendly to African Americans. We experienced so many microaggressions. Travel with others and stay focused on your purpose. We also experienced 2 of the best LYFT drivers. Both lived in DC at some point.
