Pros: Ideal location, close to beach, shops and restaurants. Staff at reception were very helpful.
Cons: There was often music BLARING at the pool, not conducive to relaxation! Also, the service at breakfast was quite poor. Even though breakfast was served until 10, much of the food was gone by 9 and cutlery etc. cleared from the tables. Night shows and aerobics/dance classes were advertised, but were non-existent.. at least in our time at the hotel.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was nice but there was not a bright variety. The Hotel itself had a good location, close to a nice beach. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Sadly, the pool was not really enjoyable since there are constructions currently next door. Wi-fi was also really bad. Breakfast was nice but there was not a lot to choose from and mostly the same.

Cons: We booked for 4 days and had to leave on the second day for an unexpected emergency. Even after having informed the staff they didn’t refund us any money.

Pros: Localization
Cons: Very expensive hotel for a bad service! They’re not kind and don’t solve the problems. Earnings and money was stolen from the locker.

Pros: The food was excellent. Breakfast and Dinner was provided. The staff was super.
Cons: They had some strange rule that if you wanted your towels changed, you had to put your dirty towels in the wash basin. The only problem is that it took us 4 days to find out about the rule. I had to ask for clean towels 4 different times.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Almost everything was greit, the only thing i didn't like it was when i did the reservation my room was supose to be in front of the water for a nice veiw, and they gave me the wrong one, but i am very happy with everythin else
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all.
Cons: All of it. The place is falling apart.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The property itself is beautiful in a nice location
Cons: Customer service was poor, since my Check In that was a nightmare.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Never say no
Cons: There is no shuttle between hotels
3,7 Mediocre
Pros: The location and the sea view from the deck.
Cons: Everything is designed to be unconfortbale. Worst checking process I have ever seen. Every activity, like meals, snacks etc have strict schedules. Staff is not as polite as in bogota or Cartagena. Food is ok, not wonderful. Open bar is crappy, there are no fresh juices available. Facilities are old.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location and the staff
Cons: They need to make a renovation
4,8 Okay
Pros: Nice and long deck over the sea, easy access to swim and excellent water views.
Cons: Didn't like the food, impossible to get reservations to one of the three (menu) restaurants -you'll need to wake up at 6:30am to make a line for an hour to reserve- so you'll be stuck with buffet, rooms don't feel clean enough, too much noise at the hotel. If you want a peaceful place to relax and eat well/healthy, this is not the place.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really friendly. Show in the night was great. Food was good.
Cons: There was no wifi in the rooms.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The location was great and the staff was quite accommodating.
Cons: Everything else. This has, without a doubt, been the worst hotel experience in terms of value for money in my life. Wifi did not work in the rooms, unlike what's promised. Quality of the room was extremely poor (door did not fully cover the entrance, no shower nozzle, unsanitary bathroom etc) and insolation was non-existent. We could hear EVERYTHING from the street.
7,1 Good
Cons: Food options
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was the best in the world. Claudith, the kitchen manager, was lovely and helped us with everything she could. Eduardo at the reception offered to change our room for a private flat so we could be quiet, as there were a couple of school trips staying in the hotel. The flat was being renovated but it was very spacious and we had room service. The food in the buffet was not very variated but good enough, in special breakfast. The hotel is well located in front of the beach and has swimming pool.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: Wifi was less than adequate

5,8 Okay
Pros: The location is good.
Cons: It's a weird hotel in the sense that only the lobby it's new but the rest it's old and kinda moldy, its like they don't have things figured out, they told us they had room service but there's no menu on their rooms, and when we called the restaurant they said they don't bring food up to the rooms because of the cockroaches, so we were like wait, you have cockroaches? They ended up sending food but with no tray. There drunk people blasting music with their portable speaker everywhere but the staff doesn't say anything. In conclusion I don't think its with the money we paid.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Temperature
Cons: Dirty
7,9 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast, lots of variety. Great location on the main beach. Close to airport (could walk there in 15 mins). Good Air-con. Free welcome cocktail. Reception staff attentive, helpful and friendly. Rooms cleaned early every day. Great little pool on roof with awesome views with bar. WiFi worked well on all floors.
Cons: There was sometimes an odd smell of stagnant water in the air sometimes, but noticed other hotels in the area had the same issue when walking past. The bathrooms have no ventilation, so if you use hot water for the shower the bathroom will become very humid and stuffy!
Le Castel Blanc Hotel Boutique - San Andrés - Building

2,5 Mediocre
Cons: The staff is incredibly unhelpful
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice hotel with great staff
Cons: Salt water
7,5 Good
Pros: We liked the exclusivity and quiet part of the island. It was nice.
Cons: The water in the shower was sea water with salt. Also we left our bags in the lobby and my sunglasses were stolen out of my bag.
6,3 Good
Pros: Nice friendly staff. The rooms were clean
Cons: Could do better for a hotel boasting 4 star quality. Had sent 2 emails to the property to amend my booking and got no reply. I then rang from the UK, when the phone was answered, we spoke for a minute, I was put on hold for over 10 minutes then hung up. I had booked a standard suite and although clean, only had enough room for a double bed, no table or even one chair. Definitely a standard double. The proximity to pool left me with no privacy, so even if I could open the broken blind, preferred not to have guests looking through the window directly into my bed. Bed frame made of wicker, has holes
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Good wifi. Good value for money. Great big pool. Good location for the beach and shops
Cons: Staff could've been more attentive. We were rudely awoken by a staff member knocking on our door loudly for a minute in the morning asking where a scooter was.. we hadn't used or hired anything from them. Very unprofessional.

6,7 Good
Pros: Very nice property, most probably the best on the island.
Cons: Service quite poor, restaurant closed without prior notice. Maintenance and care not perfect (example: nespresso capsules out of consumption limit).
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Casa Harb is the owner’s family home upgraded into a fabulous boutique hotel. The property is adorned with unique pieces from all over the world collected over his years of travelling, every corner of the space has a story making it a unique and special touch for anyone who considers themselves a global citizen. Wonderfully cozy surroundings, lovely staff, great breakfast & fruit platters and overall excellent service made for a relaxing stay.
Cons: The property is beautiful & well maintained for Colombian standards but bit rustic in parts could use some polished updates to measure up on an international scale. Pool is smaller than it appears in pictures and could be elevated by switching seating for chicer beds & chairs.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding boutique hotwl in San Andres. After leaving a couple of years in Bangkok its asian decoration eemind us of the luxury hotels in east asia. The staff is very friendly and ready to help you in any way you need. The hotel even has a small wine reaerve that is much better than most of the offerings around the island. Without a doubt if you are looking for a high quality place ro stay, and relax - this is a great option.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: WOW! Casa is just amazing. Amazing staff, wonderful owner and more than that, tranquility in the main part of the city but just far enough away, not to feel engulfed! The reception was amazing, the room incredible (room S), and the pool just lovely.
Cons: It was perfect
4,6 Okay
Pros: The place was beautiful and had great pancakes for breakfast.
Cons: We were told the suite is reserved for us (we were on our honeymoon). It was not and when we arrived it was already occupied. During breakfast we got a menu and everything was extra charge. Also it was far from the center and only privet taxis could take us to the center. It’s not enough to have a beautiful place!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything..!! Super relaxing, and very good quality.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail is amazing and it’s like a museum here! Best stay in ages ! The staff is very nice and friendly and the owner passionate about travel and the beauty that the hotel is shows it!
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is not beach front, but the island is small enough that it did not effect us that much. Plus the staff was great!! Joy was fantastic. Recommend renting a Golf cart ( Mule) and drive around the island and finding a beach area to rent a trap and chairs for the day.
Cons: A bit away from the beach

Pros: worse experience I have ever have
Cons: horrible hotel!!! I don't know how a hotel like that can be in, rude staff, they turn off the water at different schedules during the day, they also turn the light off, the food is practically the same every day, the pool for adults doesn't work, the building is in very bad conditions the kids pool is extremely dirty my sister got a skin infection. When we first arrive to the hotel they gave us the key of a room that was already taking by other people, good thing we are honest people because the other people had everything in their room, no remote control for the tv or the AC, extremely far from everything and the transportation in taxi is expensive, they have a bus stop in front of the hotel which is less expensive but it takes an hour to get to the center of san andres which in taxi is only like 15 mins. no wifi they tell you they do have but it doesn't work. you have to leave the key for the room in reception every time you leave, well that what we did and we went to the beach when we came back they tell us that the need it a replacement key so they took our key with out letting us know we ended up waiting about 2 hours to enter our room, we didn't hear a sorry from them I travel with a baby of 2 he was falling to sleep all full in sand, in conclusion is a very horrible hotel, that should take it out of their website, and just to finish up you cant even confirmed your stay in the hotel with the hotel itself because they have a CELL-PHONE LINE instead of a LAND LINE THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!

Pros: Nice relaxing accommidation, Laura was very nice and very helpful. The facilities were excellent
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The property is lovely, large grounds, a nice pool and very clean. Hilda, the lady who manages the property, is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bedroom had a fan and Airconditioning, and was very comfortable. There is a supermarket about 500 meters down the road, and buses to Central and other beaches pass often.
Cons: The property is a little out of the town area so there is no direct access to the ‘action’. However, the propert is a comfortable (flat) walk of about 10 mins, relaxed pace, to the start of Playa Spratt Bight where the beach is lovely and there are ample restaurants and entertainment options. You could also take a bus or taxi if you wish. The location suited me, but may not be for everyone.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We liked Capi's place very much! Laura is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, rooms are nice and the garden with the pool is just awesome! To the center it takes about 10 minutes by car and we appreciated to stay away from the very crowded center, so it was perfect for relaxing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Hilda is a great host and she really takes care of her guests. The house is strategically well located - supermarket, airport, city - all very close, and still it is very quiet. The pool is clean and a great refreshment. I can only recommend to stay at Hilda's place!
Cons: -
8,3 Excellent
Pros: We felt very welcome and the hosts really helped us out a lot concerning planning. Breakfast was simple but good. It was very clean, the kitchen was great for cooking. A supermercado is about 10 min. walking distance, the beach about 20.
4,2 Okay
Pros: The location and the place is good.
Cons: The welcoming by the owner was very rude. We came in at 4 30am and the place was closed so that is ok. But at 6am some people were leaving and their taxi said to them to leave us the key to the entrance and that we can wait inside because it was raining with no pace for cover. Then the owner came and said to us that we were not polite to wait inside and never introducd her to us. So was rude the whole time. Even told me 3 times not to put the toilet paper in the urinal even if she knew that I have been more then 30 times to Colombia(my wife is Colombian). She is not the type the manage a hotel, too rude and not frindly at all. We have never been treated so badly in ALL our travels around the world!!!!!!! Would stay away!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Laura is very helpful, couldn’t do more to make our stay comfortable. The location is good (about a 20 min walk to downtown) and set back from road so very quiet. Reliable wifi. Nice garden and pool.
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely property in a quiet location. Pleased we chose here rather than the crowded tourist areas of the more central areas. Is a couple of kilometres away from the main shopping and hotel areas but a pleasant walk or you can catch a frequent bus. Accommodation spacious, clean Excellent breakfast. Owner very helpful and friendly with perfect English. Ideal for a relaxing stay. Also a very inviting swimming pool.

Pros: Perfect location. Nice facilities. Room was a good size with an ocean view
Cons: Only 1 thing asked for wake up service, but they never called. Luckily I also set my alarm on my telephone. When I went to check out the receptionist was asleep

Pros: Uncle Tagga was really sweet and helped us in every way. Thanks to him we learned the best spots on the island. Also the location is pretty convenient.

Pros: The view from the room was lovely, with the ocean just across the street. Taga was really sweet and fun. San Luis is a nice area of San Andres.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Salted tap water, no A/C
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Taga, Mira and the staff are great and very helpful people. They do everything to make the stay as pleasant and interesting as desired.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a wonderful time that we’ve spent at Yellow Moon. The owner, Taga is the best, he is treating you as family. He is very funny and told us a lot about the life at San Andres and was always taking care of us. We could rent his doughter’s motorbike and he took us to the port early morning after we realised our transfer is not coming. Like having holiday at your uncle’s lodge by the sea... We will return for sure! :)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The owner, Uncle Taga, lives up to his billing as being a most congenial host, The private beach is a real bonus. Good restaurants just blocks away. A short walk to catch the bus downtown. Spectacular sunrises!
Cons: Being an island, waterworks are rudimentary with gravity feed for things like the showers. The first night it was barely a trickle, but a little better on the second day. I wish the place was a little closer to downtown San Andres.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely comfortable bed, great helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The proximity to the sea and the breeze that comes with it.
Cons: The internet connection was bad.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: My sister and I stayed here because it’s close to family. We’d been to the island before and specifically choose this guesthouse because of the little swim cove in front.
Cons: The guesthouse doesn’t offer meals, there’s no place to get breakfast. There is a restaurant across the path but they don’t open early.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The owner Taga is one of a kind. An amazing person, really friendly, really funny, who like to share his history with you. He is also really helpful to visit the island, and organize tours for you, and if he has to go somewhere on the island and you still at hotel he propose do drop you off somewhere. I highly recommend you to stay at Yellow moon, the area is perfect, away from the tourists and in front of the sea!! San Luis beach is a long beach only 5 min walk from the hotel and with nobody!!

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly owner who drove us to the nearest beach when we first arrived and did everything he could to help us make the most of our few days on San Andrés. Lovely quiet location with extensive gardens. Also the cook is amazing!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Rueben made me very welcome and really looked after me well, giving me lots of advice about where to go. I loved that I could see hummingbirds on the hibiscus at breakfast and that sometimes it was possible to see iguanas and lizards in the grounds. My room was well equipped with ac, a fan, a fridge/minibar and even a torch which was useful after dark. The shower was cold but that’s all I wanted as it is very, very hot and humid! The property is just over the road from the sea. I didn’t manage to go in the water right there as the coral is so sharp, but there are plenty of places nearby to access the sea. I really liked that I could borrow both snorkel and mask, fins and a bicycle. The bike was great, enabling me to see the southern part if the island and to get to the white, sandy beaches at San Louis too. I had dinner at the hotel both evenings that I was there and, although simple, it was very good. Breakfast is ok but quite basic.
Cons: The only thing that was a bit difficult was that the hotel wasn’t near nice places to eat....although the location is also one of the things that is very attractive about the hotel. It wouldn’t suit someone who is looking for nightlife.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: We booked for 4 nights but left immediately after the first night. At least they did not make a fuss about it and we’re ok with our offer to pay for one night only.
Cons: Where to start? Pretty much everything. Too noisy. Too expensive. Poor food choices. The place used to be a backpackers/hostel but now they want to make it look like a hotel. Charging hotel prices for hostel rooms. Do I have to say any more?
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Danny and Tracy, the owners of the Hotel are amazing. They made our stay fantastic and ensured we have a good time. This is a great place to stay if you don’t speak Spanish, because they are one of the few that can speak English which is super helpful for questions on how to get around and activities. We ran out of cash on the first day and Tracy gave us a ride to the next ATM, she also helped us to book a ATV for the second day. Danny organized us a taxi for the airport transfer. All super helpful because whenever we ordered a taxi ourselves we could not get one. The location is perfect and the people working in the hotel and preparing the breakfast and dinner are amazing. We had a home cooked meal the second day and loved it. The lobby / outdoor living room is great and comfortable.
Cons: We prefer if bathroom and bedroom are separate, unfortunately there was no door or curtain to separate bathroom and bedroom which limits privacy. The beds were a little hard.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I spent 10 days at this hotel and really had an amazing time the property is in a great place 1 minute walk to some of the best Snorkelling spots on the island and you can borrow snorkelling equipment free of charge which was a great touch. The property is a 20 minute drive to the centre which is easy to reach via local bus which is about 1 USD each way or you can rent a scooter which we did for the time we was there from the hotel at a good price which I strongly recommend. The hosts Danny and Tracy were fantastic always there to help with any of are needs as well as some of the staff especially the cook Maria she was so kind and cooked delicious food which made are stay complete.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: perfect stay, nice room with good view into the really beautiful garden. good breakfast and diner if you want to. scooter rental available and otherwise free bikes to use, thanks for the nice stay daniel....
Cons: pricing is maybe a little high, but that’s on the whole island the case
