On Kayak's website, it stated that the rental car came with unlimited mileage. However, when I arrived to pick up the car, I was informed that there was actually a limit and I would have to pay extra for every kilometer over that limit. The rental location was in disarray, with a dirty floor and overflowing garbage. Despite standing there for a while, no one approached me to assist with my reservation until I had to ask for help. I did not proceed with the reservation and let’s say this would be my last time booking or trusting kayak or that rental company.Reviewed Jul 21 2024

Overall: if you have time and patience, it might be worth it. But, be aware that you are sacrificing efficiency for those savings. If your time is money, recommend finding another option. Professionalism: The staff were incredibly overworked but also did not move with a sense of urgency. Customer Experience: Lineup of customers looking to drop off keys and pick up their rental were combined. It took 45 minutes before getting service. Cleanliness: The location was incredibly messy. Value for Money: the price is ok, as long as you have your own insurance (they will upsell you). Car pick up was disastrous. Be prepared for all sorts of insurance problems. You must prove that you have $65,000 in insurance. They try to upsell you their insurance. Their price per day for out of province is astronomical all sorts of added costs. Took two hours to get the car. Car was the most banged up rental car I’ve ever had.Reviewed Jul 3 2024

Did not have my class of vehicle I booked, offered me a vehicle that had not been cleaned after it was used, rental vehicle had a lot of glass chips.- 4. Wanted me to pay for insurance for their glass and car. Had mileage restrictions and outcome province extra costs. Very, very mickey mouse operation.Reviewed Jul 2 2024

My friend rented car at the airport for 650 at the airport. I recieved one for $72 and after adding the windshield protection, it worked out to $142 for the same amount of time. Same car and same year.Reviewed Jun 11 2024

Pickup and drop off take a lot of time. It will take an hour from reaching the pickup spot until you have a car. There’s a $1500.00 deposit, which they keep for a week after you return the vehicle. They want to see your insurance for YOUR vehicle (???) as well as the insurance documentation you plan to use, such as credit card. My confirmation clearly stated it was unlimited mileage but it was not. There are fees for driving out of province. Fees for extra driver (that’s not all that’s unusual) This takes way too much time, is misrepresented and there are hidden fees. Also… attitude. I would not recommend this place.Reviewed Jun 7 2024
