Pros: Normally I dread the term "boutique," which usually signals small, cramped spaces with questionable decor. This was not the case with FoundRe. The rooms were spacious and very stylishly appointed, with wonderful design aesthetic. The staff were courteous and helpful and the adjoining restaurant was excellent as well.
Cons: The only slight downside was the fairly spartan "fitness room" which was a handful of cardio machines and a basic set of dumbells.

Pros: This hotel is Nice and clean. The interior design is modern. The location is perfect if you want to take a stroll around downtown. From the front entrance, you can see the US Airways stadium, the Chase stadium or arena (sorry, not a sports fan) and just a few minutes walk away. Also it about a five to ten minutes walk to Heritage Square. One minus is the room we stayed in had only one chair and a long sofa for seating. Having just one chair made it tough for two of us to enjoy food or coffee in our room. I recommend friends to stay there, but because it's downtown, don't be surprised about how expensive parking can be, $23/night.

Cons: I did not like the design of the shower, where it was only partially enclosed with a glass wall, where water could spray out onto the bathroom floor. The mattress was a little hard, and the pillows were a little flat.

Cons: Our room's thermostat was not working right. Our room at the lowest temperature was freezing but at any higher temperature our room would be way too hot. There was no door on the shower which caused water from the shower to get on the bathroom floor, making it slick and a fall hazard. Our bed had no sheet, just the comforter and a small throw blanket. We had to request a sheet and add it to the bed ourselves. We had a very difficult time getting comfortable enough to sleep.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the location - easy walk to arena and convention center and light rail. Plenty of restaurants, clubs, live music choices nearby as well.
Cons: While I didn't mind, some may be put off by the need to leave the hotel and cross the plaza to access fitness center and breakfast. Both are well worth the "inconvenience"

Pros: The hotel was really comfortable and really was luxurious. But how can hotel, especially one of this stature not have free WiFi? Makes absolutely no sense! Also no hot tub or bath tub, so forget the idea of a soothing soak. You also have to pay $32 a night for parking. Or you can park across the street for $15/day, but if you leave and come back, you have to pay another $15. So don’t plan on leaving once you get there. However there is a light rail across the street if you need to travel somewhere. There is also no included breakfast. Other than those things, the hotel was really nice. I probably won’t stay again because I really love to be able to stay in a hotel with a hotub.

Cons: Booked the hotel and tried to cancel a couple hours later. Priceline spoke with the front desk manager and they refused to allow me to cancel. I understand it's in your fine print but it's just bad business practice to take someone's money when the reservation was JUST made. It's not like it was booked for months and the room was not given to someone else because of my reservation. I am the CEO of a moderately sized company and travel to Phoenix 5-10 times a year and send hundreds of clients to Phoenix. I will make sure no one stays here. Good thing you kept my $500.

Pros: Checkin was propmt and vallet was quick. The pools were great; they always are. wonderful. My son always enjoys staying at the Fairmount he knows the hotel like that back of his hand. We at a La Hacienda and the food was amazing. The tequila informationista was knowleageble and provided great service and history of the tequilla. The casita room was large and spacious. The bed slept wonderfully the pillows were heavenly. The servers at the pool were attentive and helpful. The Ironwood Kitchen has the best breakfast potatoes and fluffy pancakes.
Cons: There were a lot of bugs inside the room. There was a cricket in the water closet that I chased around the bathroom for a few minutes to kill it. Then there were small bugs in each sink and tile. When I layed on the bed there was small spider crawling. I killed that as well. Along with a wasps nest directly outside our door. The front desk offered to move us; but we were only there one more night. I asked them to spray and reclean the room. Which was promptly done.

When I turned on the hot water at the sink to wash my face it got very hot and no amount of cold water would cool it down for quite a while. The shower had to be turned all the way hot to get a warm shower. There wasn't a shower towel mat for the floor the first day we were there.

Pros: Stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. When I got off the elevator to go to my room, I stepped on the thickest, plushest carpet ever. Room was spotless. Lots of outlets on the desk so I was able to keep all my devices charged. All of the staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. Even the valet, when my car was brought around, washed my windshield before I started out for home. Extremely easy to get back to I-10. The breakfast buffet was wonderful - including lots of fresh fruit and again. Walking distance to Chase Field as well as lots of bars and restaurants.
Cons: Would have liked to have had a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for putting on my makeup but there was lots of light.

We enjoyed the breakfast and lounged with a drink in the evening. All the fun pictures brought a smile to us as we rode the elevator or enjoyed a quiet sleep in our room. Pros: The restaurant and bar was very good. Excellent craft cocktails in the bar, and tasty entrees from the kitchen were available daily. The room was very quiet and clean. The TV in the room offers Netflix and Hulu and other apps free, if you have accounts for those apps.
Cons: The pool is poorly maintained. We were there for three days and it wasn’t cleaned once. It is also very small. Most importantly, for being a boutique hotel there are certain standards one must meet. For example, one ply toilet paper I might expect at a Motel 6, not here; only having one wash cloth for two people, and having to call each day to get the 2nd wash cloth is irritating. There was no information binder in the room, you have to look online to get all the hotel information that deals with Hotel services and you have to pay for the WiFi. Finally, charging $35, a night to park at the hotel is just ridiculous.

Pros: The decor was very cool. The vibe was great. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night so didn’t have a lot of time to utilize the facilities like spa, pool, gym, etc. We had dinner at artizen. The drinks, food and service were outstanding.

Pros: As always the Weather during Spring Break is wonderful. The general layout of the resort is wonderful. This is my 3rd trip here since 2009 and we want to make it a annual thing for myself and my kids,
Cons: This trip we experienced a lot of horrible service, missed room services, not being attended to while at one of their restaurants. the exception was the last night we were there. I spent $5000 over a course of 6 nights we stayed..I would expect way better service when ones pays this much. Im considering not coming back due to the service not matching the price I paid. I also feel the resort could use a bit of updating and repair. Eep in the room when we had burnout light bulbs and once again they were never replaced on our stay.

Pros: The hotel is beautiful. It has great potential but they are far from meeting it. If they remodeled the place, they certainly are not finished. The housekeeping staff were great.
Cons: They do not have supplies/equipment to handle the capacity. We needed another blanket and were told they ran out. They do not have nearly enough chairs at the pools. There were 10 lounge chairs at our pool. I know they cannot provide enough chairs for every guest but there is absolutely no excuse why there were not at least 30-40 chairs at each pool. There was certainly room for that many. People at the pools were angry. The teenagers that work at the oasis pool were rude. Instead of being a relaxing experience, it was over-crowded and stressful.

If you are seated over the bridge you must bring your shoes to the lazy river or your feet will be burned. I feel they should have more entrances to the lazy river to much congestion in one area

Cons: The waterpark was supposed to open on February 18th per the website and a phone call to the hotel - so we booked from February 20th to 24th. What they failed to inform us was that the Waterpark was only open the weekend before and the weekend afterwards. When we arrived on the Monday the person who greeted us and showed us to our room talked about the Waterpark being great and only later did we find out it was closed. We got 2 nights of the facility fee refunded, however the other 2 nights were not refunded and we chose this hotel especially because of the waterpark. Very disappointing.

Don't get me wrong, this is a nice hotel, however, in terms of resorts, it does not belong in the same conversation with any of the Scottsdale or Sedona facilities. Very disappointing considering what was being sold. A three-night reservation, we left after one evening.

The check-in agent was tied up with a time-consuming transaction but didn't even bother to apologise for the wait, much less attempt to summon a colleague to help us. Bad form. Next, we paid for queen-sized beds, but our room was outfitted with full-size beds. Wah wah. It was late and we weren't in the mood for making a fuss, but it was just...shabby. Nothing horrible, just not good.

Pros: Based upon the first impression of the front desk service, along with the room, I was expecting a perfectly fine stay. Especially, considering, the stay was only for one night. The room was spotless, and super cute! (We got one with a jacuzzi, which is definitely a bonus of this hotel.) there was even a little note from the maid, ensuring we knew it had been cleaned 100%, for our satisfaction.

I was directed to an obscure representative, who was way beyond unprofessional, who then, transferred me to the kitchen of, what I found out later, was Streets of New York. Sure, but then why is it called OrderInn, on the room service menu? I just want to know where the food I'm paying stupid amounts of money for, is coming from. Along with several, basic food items, such as, plain old, Garlic bread, that they had, extensively, labeled as "Passion bread", and was being way overcharged for.

Cons: My girlfriend and I stayed here for the fourth of July weekend. I will never stay here again ever. The room was dated. The room looked like a road side motel. The pictures and smoke dectors were falling off the wall. The refrigerator door had a hole like some one kicked it. I went to four different ice machines four different times and not one of them worked. I had to drive to the store it was very inconvenient. For the amount we paid for each nigh it was not worth it. We didn't even go to the water park portion of the resort because we were so disappointed with our room

Pros: Different Pointe of View was great! It is pricey but the food was very good. The view is incredible and I recommend eating at sunset or the night time. Do plan accordingly because dinner took 2 and a half hours for 3 courses. They space out the courses nicely as to not feel rushed or too full.
Cons: So many kids running around the pool and splashing. The adult only pool was full so was forced to use the falls pool. If you have a room with a view be sure you wear flats/comfortable shoes you will have to climb up hill a ways to get to your room. They have a free shuttle but be sure to call way ahead of time. It made us 15 min late for our dinner reservation. The "falls view" was not worth the upgrade. You couldn't see the falls you just got a great view of the pool and all the noise.

Around 4:30 still no text, so we decided to go check ourselves. When I spoke with the woman at the front desk about checking in she said our room was still not ready. Luckily she moved something around and got us into a room, but what if I hadn't gone to the front desk and just waited for a text who knew how long we would have waited. If check in is at 4 then we should have been in a room by that time. Also the housekeeping never came to clean our room on the second day which I found very odd.

Pros: The beds were comfortable. Front desk personnel were friendly and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable but a bit outdated. There was some confusion about my bill, but it was quickly cleared up. Overall the hotel was nice, but a bit dated though the amenities were lacking.

Saturday morning they had no towels and weren't even trying to fix it. Maids entirely blocked the hallway with their carts and didn't bother to move to let us off the elevator. The carpet was absolutely terrible which became extremely noticeable once my 10 month old started crawling on it. The service was ok some of the staff was super friendly and helpful others were almost rude. All of that being said, I would still stay here again with high hopes of the room being a little cleaner.

Pros: The amount of space for the King bedroom suites was very accommodating. There are two separate rooms, a living room area with a pull out bed is great to use if you have additional folks with you or children, and a separate bedroom in case you want more privacy. The staff were very knowledgeable and responsive. I didn't need much assistance, but for the few questions or needs I had, they were quick to aid me. The resort is kept up well. It has stayed up-to-date since my last stay there 20 years ago. I'm happy to see it has been kept in good condition. I went to the spa and the masseuse was incredibly experienced and did an exceptional job. I would highly recommend the spa.
Cons: There are a few small areas that the resort could improve on: -I noticed it was very difficult reaching hotel staff by phone. I tried every single line (ie Guest Request, Room Service, Front Desk..) just to try to reach someone. This happened to me about 5-6 times within my first 36 hours. They could work on beefing up availability of folks to answer phones. -The spa was fantastic, and one of the showers was very dark, and had one ceiling light which was not in the shower. This made the room dark after pulling the shower curtain. It didn't do justice to the overall appearance to the spa. -Also I would recommend the spa supplying a few creature comforts in the locker room, such as disposable combs for people to use after showers.

We would have been a lot more upset and probably would have left demanding our money back had she not been so kind to us. The lady who worked the evening of March 15, 2015 deserves a raise! The lady when we checked out was also nice but was unprofessional and more concerned with what was on her phone. Overall, we did get what we paid for I suppose. The location was super convienent, it was 10 min or less away from everything we wanted to do. Just glad we only stayed for one night. I will also admit that the bbqs by the pool are a genius idea! A familiy staying there was bbq-ing up a storm and it smelt AMAZING. haha The hotel resturaunt was also actually really nice!

Cheetos stuck to the carpet, all of the trash cans full, all the towels were damp, no toilet paper, used soaps, dirty mirrors and counter tops, smelt like dog pee, cigarette burns in the sheet/bed, beds were super questionable, pillows smelt mildewy, and only half of the outlets worked. We ended up using our clothes for pillows and ended up sleeping on top of the comforter just because we didn't want to sleep inside. The most staff seemed overworked and underpaid. The rest seemed lazy. And by internet they do not mean WiFi, they mean a tiny computer from the 80s in the lobby... That may or may not work.
