Excellent 8,0
Pros: Staff was friendly and welcoming
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Very good and varied complimentary breakfast in the morning; certainly better than most hotels provide.
Cons: Extremely loud water (pipe) noise in our unit when toilet flushed in another room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very clean and attentive. Location is excellent - 10 minutes away from everything in Prescott. Breakfast included more items than you normally get from other chain. Will definitely return.
Excellent 9,7
Cons: no pet policy
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were personable, accommodating, and friendly. The staff to help us to plan a hike for ourselves. We ended up walking around Lynx Lake which was only a five minute drive away. Though the location is not right downtown it's only a brief drive to the downtown area. For the price and the location and the amount of time it would take to get downtown, it's worth the stay. We enjoyed the freshly made cookies at 6 PM. The breakfast was standard, clean and fresh. I appreciated having hot drinks (water, tea & coffee) available 24 hours.
Cons: The pool area had an incredible chlorine smell in the air which maybe standard for the industry but not pleasant initially to one senses. It was clean and there were people enjoying themselves there.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great value for the money. Super comfy rooms lots of amenities and super breakfast!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Owners and staffare Amazing! Super clean and comfy :)
Good 7,7
Pros: Clean, friendly staff.
Cons: Power went out. No lights in the hallways on arrival for several hours.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: clean, friendly, perfect location!
Cons: The breakfast Buffett could've been a little more healthy and non microwaved eggs and the shower could be a bit more spacious with a lower shower head.
Good 6,0
Pros: Clean, good location, adequate breakfast, heated indoor swimming pool, easy parking
Cons: Front desk lady had no idea what she was doing

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Love the pool. It's indoor but the mural on the wall, 360°, makes you feel your in a mountain lake. Nice and warm too, not freezing like some pools. The breakfast is really nice also. Plenty of variety from cereal, muffins, and yogurt to biscuits and gravy and pancakes. We will be back.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean, friendly staff; pool was nice. Breakfast was available 6am-noon due to a special going on and that was awesome!
Cons: Parking got a little tight at night.
Good 6,0
Pros: Nice friendly staff .
Cons: Under renovation was not aware until checking in, no spa as advertised, and gym was closed I wont be returning to this hotel.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Loved the array for breakfast which is well beyond most hotels at this rate. Choices included raw walnuts, fruit, eggs, pancakes, and an array of yogurts. Easy to make healthy choices. Also nice fire pit outside to enjoy the cool evenings.
Cons: The smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies!!! If that's a problem, only for those of us who are abstaining from such.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Large room, great staff. Good breakfast and very clean

Excellent 8,3
Pros: The location of the Hotel was the primary reason we booked it. We liked the nostalgia of the hotel, and the staff was very helpful, polite, & courteous. The rooms were quaint, but they had what we needed.
Cons: The bathroom felt like a closet. A little pricey per night.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: The hospitality was awesome. It was very well kept.
Cons: The extremely small bathroom. It was hard not to drop things in the toilet it was so tight. Also, because this is a historical building you can hear everything through the walls and windows. I would say this is a great place to stay overall, you just have to understand the age of the building.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Beautiful hotel in great location with friendly staff. Highly recommend staying here! Pet friendly but pet owners are required to be responsible so the animals don't disturb other guests which is nice. Good parking close to all the action!
Cons: Historic hotel = small bathrooms & little louder than normal.
Good 6,0
Pros: Quaintness of lobby.
Cons: Very small bathroom. Knees just about hit the wall when sitting on toilet.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Loved the historic atmosphere, antiques, old pianos. Music made for a great atmosphere. Service was very attentive and cheerful. Hotel bar and restaurant also good options.
Cons: Thin walls, loud neighbors
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location, easy parking. No parking fee
Good 7,4
Pros: I loved the location, they have a great restaurant and bar. If you are into or restored historical locations you will be in heaven. It is beautiful. They accept dogs (see cons) they were really clean everywhere inside and out. AC works great.
Cons: I had my Yorkipoo they put you on the 1st floor because they have hardwood floors. My dog could hardly walk they were so slippery. We were scared that he might jump off the bed and crash and hurt himself. They also have zero places for your dog to go potty. It's basically walk to the park or the sidewalk outside the hotel. Rooms are very small, beds are very hard. Lots of stairs, not disabled friendly at all. Not family friendly.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: It was charming for an adults only kind of place. I think for how old it is the wear and tare of children would be hard in a place like this.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything, small rooms a ridiculous elevator, rude and judgemental staff. No management on duty at night. Will never stay there again, nor will my family.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location, the historic .hotel has been.well preserved, the nostalgia.

Pros: Front desk service was great. And the old school ambiance was fun.
Cons: We happened to be there on St. Patty's Day, and the bar next door had a party with a live band until well after 1:00 am! I could not fall asleep. But it wasn't the hotel's fault!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We enjoyed the setting, the service, the historic touch and great staff.

Excellent 9,1
Pros: Good property, outwardly well maintained, and nicely appointed room.
Cons: Breakfast service needed more attention to keep up with demand.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfast was great. They finally had bacon on the weekend lots of choices. The room was larger than most.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Food
Cons: Hair on cup near coffee pot, heater is loud, have to turn up tv volume
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The staff was friendly and attentive. Room was clean and quiet. Enjoyed having a private patio. Location was perfect.
Cons: The heated pool was a little chilly. But we enjoyed it anyways. And we found a half loaf of bread on the top shelf above the fridge. Breakfast was mediocre. But ok for a free breakfast.
Mediocre 3,7
Pros: The pool and dining was nice.
Cons: Front desk was very unprofessional and the young staff treated you as if you were bothering them. Our room was the most discussing of all. The hide a bed had very used sheets and a pair of mens dirty boxers in side. Also our king bed had used sheets that appeared to have sexual stains throughout. I called the manager to explain to her and she treated me as if i was wanting to stay there free when i was just informing her about the situation. She also sounded young and very unprofessional. Ive always enjoyed La Quinta until now.
Mediocre 3,4
Pros: In all honesty the young lady who received us was very nice she also checked us out
Cons: Live bed bug found crawling on us in the morning we were to leave . Notified the cleaning staff and the young lady at the front desk no manager to notify on a Sunday morning was asked if we were sure it was a bed bug left a sample of the critter in a paper tissue with the front desk
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very clean and loved the pool area.
Cons: Breakfast eggs and sausage not hot. Staff states the flame went out "again". Bath towels like sand paper.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Definitely nicer than the average Quality Inn. Breakfast was decent, room was comfortable. The on-site bar was nice as well. Staff was friendly overall. Check-in and out was easy.
Cons: They ran out of pool towels and didn’t replenish. When I asked for some, they said they were being washed. I asked for room towels instead, and was told they couldn’t give me those. TV was difficult to use and had a cable box that we had to mess with but we never did get one of them to work. It must happen all the time because there are directions in the rooms “If your TV doesn’t work...”.
Okay 5,0
Pros: The beds were nice - fluffy duvets and good pillows.
Cons: Not enough lighting in rooms - very dim. Not enough breakfast items and warm orange juice. Girl staffing it appeared worn out both days. Not enough staff - we tried to eat at the restaurant/bar and no one was working there! But people were drinking at the bar!? Also this hotel was billed as the Wyndham Gardens Prescott and no one told us it had changed names and was undergoing renovations - lots of dust!!!! Plus people consistently put a rock in the door so anyone could come in and out - no security whatsoever. I won't be back.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location, super clean, great breakfast
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,6
Pros: we liked the breakfast and also enjoyed the whirlpool very much
Cons: We enjoyed our weekly stay very much and would recommend LaQuinta to our friends and family

Excellent 9,7
Pros: It was clean and kept up. Good location.
Cons: On employee was a little strange in mannerisms. We spilled some a drink on a table and asked for some paper towels or something to wipe it up with and was told they did have anything. But.. They did in the little breakfast area. Guess the guy had to put his cell phone down and put his shoes on the help us out. We could of just left the mess on the table but we're not that way. We had packed up a bag of trash and I asked where I could toss it? And the employee was a bit snarky about we don't have trash cans for that but I guess I'll take it. I mean geez. I picked up a mess and such and this was that attitude I got. I remember seeing this guy when I checked in and he was all fluster when a bunch of people came to check in. Got to work on handling things buddy. Otherwise, everyone else was very nice and professional. Guess this guy has off days a lot.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I loved the atmosphere. The hotel was grand. Reminded me of expensive hotels that I stayed in during my Europe stay. I will plan a trip to Prescott with my husband just so we can stay in Forest Villa. I absolutely loved my stay. The hotel itself was clean, smelled nice and staff was excellent! Good job Forest Villa!!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was so charming and had a Mediterranean feel. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was great! I would highly recommend this over any chain hotel!!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Our stay was wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and quiet. We'll be back!
Okay 4,0
Pros: Decent views, and hot tub worked as advertised. The bacon, eggs and waffle breakfast in the morning was well prepared, and the piano player in the morning was a nice surprise. Staff were generally friendly, and we had no issues getting questions answers, with parking, billing etc. Weather did not permit swimming, but the pool appeared to be in working condition.
Cons: Rooms are extremely outdated and are in desperate need of remodeling and minor repairs. The pictures featured on the website are of very flattering angles and cherry-picked areas that do not represent the overall quality of the resort. Routine maintenance of many things -- sticking room doors, overgrown landscape, non-working fire pits etc -- in additional to very dated rooms, cumulate to a quirky experience I would expect of a smaller bed-and-breakfast hotel. I will not be returning until/unless they undertake a serious remodel and repair effort.
Okay 5,1
Pros: I liked the size of the room, the bed was comfortable enough, there are plenty of pillows, ice machine was within close proximity to my room, and the staff at the front desk were very approachable and friendly.
Cons: The air conditioning unit blew air that smelled like old socks, wouldn't be too much of an issue on cooler days where it wouldn't be needed, but I'd hate to find out what the heater setting smells like when in use. The sink and bathroom area could have been cleaner as you could see a film from where a wet rag was used to wipe it down. The included breakfast quality was not great. The eggs tasted reheated, the sausage tasted as if perhaps it was past the sell by date, the French toast was cold and tasted stale.
Excellent 8,0
Cons: Need a big sign for the hot tub button location
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Took 18 year old granddaughter there. She just loved it , as I. The breakfast could have been a bit more of a variety but we got by. Staff was very nice and accommodating.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Despite the following slight irritations, our stay & the rate was fine. We had a week of negative events one after another so maybe our/my sensitivity was elevated... but hopefully you can use my observations to become even better than to hear it as criticism or a guest who complains...
Cons: 1. They boast/advertise a "buffet" when in reality it's continental w/cooked eggs & sausage. I've traveled many years on business & leisure, this is far from a buffet. Beyond that disappointment the breakfast was adequate. 2. $200 fine for smoking yet someone was smoking in a nearby room. The staff was very concerned & could have investigated the rooms in question, but my room began filling with the stench as well as only the section of hallway near my room... 3. Printed out my boarding passes for return flights & received unusable copies due to low toner. 4. Keys didn't work on exterior doors, requiring walking around building to gain entrance, which required waiting for someone to unlock the door.

Pros: Great size rooms. Clean n comfortable. Walking distance down town. Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: STAFF throughout - dining room to front desk - all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast lady walked around welcoming guests to the buffet and offered suggestions. The reception lady helped direct my grandson and me to the local library. Yes, yes, I know...they were doing their jobs. But they stepped up each day to say Hello. Only wish I had had more time to enjoy the POOL!!!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The central location was key for our trip. We were in town for a funeral and this was close to the church and the restaurants we were meeting in. The rooms were exactly what one expects from a Marriott. They were clean and beat and had all the amenities.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Front desk was helpful and put us in a quiet room away from their conference guests The room was comfortable and spacious with two double beds, sitting area, desk and frig Staff helped us with the morning breakfast. We liked the fresh make-your-own waffles!
Cons: That we couldn't stay longer

Pros: Staff, breakfast. Clean room.
Cons: Felt more busines orientated.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: About all you could desire for hot breakfast--best Belgian waffles! Real eggs, meat, fruits, pastries, pancakes, real oatmeal.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We took our pets and they were welcome there. Some places advertise as pet friendly but are not. The breakfast room is large and inviting and they let us take some food for our pets. Great place to stay.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The only purpose of a room for me is to sleep and shower. The shower was clean, the bed was a 4 out of 5 on comfort. Very stiff is the best way to describe that bed. The ladies that checked me in and out were very friendly and forthcoming with information about navigating the traffic and making sure I had everything I needed. Great stay.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: best breakfast we've seen for a long time. great value for the $$

Pros: Spacious room, cleanliness; magnificent breakfast, and great breakfast staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: Hard to exit parking lot...no stop light.

Pros: Room was very nice. Did a king suite. Staff was very courteous. Facility was clean. Nice pool. Ok jacuzzi.
Cons: Room wasn't ready till after 6 pm. Restaurant choice was the very expensive one or the burgers / hot dogs casino. Needs a mid level place. We don't all want to shell out $50 or $60 per person for dinner or eat in a smoke filled casino.
Excellent 8,2
Cons: The jacuzzi was out, and if the gym was open 24 hours it would be awesome!!
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Nice
Cons: Everything
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The desk staff were helpfull and friendly. Great size room and the view was awesome. Highly recommend to other people
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Great room, Friendly staff. Great central location
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Just really nice. Big room. Very quiet. Couch, easy chair. Nice accessories in bathroom.
Cons: Smoke smell from casino in lobby. No problem upstairs in the room.
Good 6,2
Pros: Quiet location. Room clean and roomy. Comfortable bed and linens. Air conditioning and heating was quiet and controlled by thermostat.
Cons: All dinner menus expensive. Coffee shop had good coffee but dried out unappealing pastries. Breakfast in dining room was good and beautiful setting. Setting is not walking distance to any shopping or dining.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room was great, close to town, room faced Prescott great view.
Cons: Food and drinks were expensive
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Won $2,500 in the casino on the slots and more than paid for my trip.
Cons: Would've liked an outdoor pool, but everything else was great.
Good 7,4
Pros: For the most part the staff was wonderful!! Some annoying snags during our stay. Management needs to get on the ball so they can better strengthen their team and get them on the same page. Heck, just be present.
Cons: I called front desk to ask for a late check out and the attendant said the hotel was not checking guests out late that day. I told her that we were checked in very late the previous day (we arrived at 12 to hang out and relax and to just see if we could pop in early....our room wasn't ready until around 6!) and she said she was sorry but no. I asked to speak to a manager which she said there were "none on right now". I replied, "you don't have a MOD?" ***Why aren't your Managers On Duty actually on duty? She told me we could stay until 12:00. Lunch was nice, although it seemed the servers were making the bar drinks themselves that afternoon probably due to slow season, which is understandable. There were three big events in town that weekend though and I believe the hotel was sold out, so taking that into consideration and also considering the $240 we paid for our room, one would think all facitilies would be available. The beverage came with a slice of orange that looked like it had been cut with a butterkife and dropped on the floor. Cleanliness and presentation are only a couple of the obvious expectation one would look for in an establishment such as this, right? We booked this hotel because of it's great reviews. I didn't want to be a jerk and send the drink back so I gave him the benifit of the doubt and did drink it and I am pretty sure I drank the floor. And woudn't you know, the last sip I took, I bit a tiny piece of dirt. **** I have been in the hospitality industry for the better part of twenty years. I get that things slack off some during the slow season but come on guys there is a line..... There are also standard expectations that have to be met.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Great views over looking Prescott. Nice inside pool and jacuzzi. Less than 10 minutes from downtown. Fridge in room.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: We had a few dirty towels in our room when we got there (looked like makeup on the washcloths). The bed was comfortable but really soft compared to a memory foam mattress. When asked if the outside propane fire could be lit for the people out there the lady at the front desk was rude to me about it because another guy had just come and asked someone else at the desk. The food at the restaurant was not worth the price. Other than that it was great, we will stay there again.
Cons: See above
Good 7,0
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and the whole atmosphere was of relaxed, affordable luxury.
Cons: The balcony in the room was great but no chairs or small table to make it more useable. The pool area was not comfortable as no lounge chairs etc.
Okay 5,3
Pros: Atmosphire, relaxfull,convienant,excellantfood.
Good 7,0
Cons: They had no confirmation of our booking through your website and took forever to get a room. We made our reservations for a deluxe queen room, but they gave us a room with two queens.
Good 6,0
Pros: The rooms were spacious.
Cons: The pool area needs to be updated.
Good 7,6
Pros: I liked the location of the hotel. It was not too far away from downtown Prescott, and we were away from the traffic of the main road. It was only a $8 taxi to downtown Prescott.
Cons: I did not like their level of customer service. The staff could have been more excited to do their job and not leave us standing at the front desk.
Good 7,6
Pros: Lovely room with lots of space to spread out. Beds fairly comfortable. We had dinner in the dining room and it was good. Unfortunately there was a huge convention at the center the weekend we were there and they overwhelmed the facility. Taking up much of the space in the lobby and hallways.
Cons: No where to get coffee in the morning easily. Other than the coffee pot in the room which ended up undrinkable.
Okay 5,6
Pros: Nice large rooms
Cons: The T.V. had bad sound. If a program had music and narration, you couldn't make out any of the words, just loud music. Thought there would be a small microwave in room, since there was a small refrigerator.

Pros: Good for a one night stay if that for adults only, if you don't mind leaving with bug bites.
Cons: They charged me extra for my two small children. And the lady kept saying it is OK, it's your fault just fix it and it's OK. I also left with 3 bites on my body. We were staying there for two days until we were able to sign a lease for our house and we had a U-Haul trailer on the back of our truck and had nowhere to park. There are like 10 parking spots if that and none of them are big enough for a full size truck if that.

Pros: Big room. Appeared clean. The front desk closed at 10pm so they called me to make sure u was going to make it in on time.
Cons: It’s not been updated for a while.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The rooms are so, so clean, and they smell wonderful! The staff is friendly and helpful, and there for you if you need small items (extra pillow, bottle opener, extra blanket). There is a circle K sharing the same parking lot that provides you with ice at no fee. It's such a comfortable place, we felt like we were right at home. The two queen sized beds were perfect for a family of 3. I will say the decor is dated and the mattress wasn't the most comfortable, but who really cares? There's a fridge and microwave right in your room, making this a great place to stay in the Prescott area and save some money by eating TV dinners in the room instead of going out for every meal. We actually cooked at home and brought a large cooler prior to going so we had food in the room. Perfect! And at these rates, you CANT go wrong! If you want to spend your days on Whiskey row there is a free parking garage right nearby, so I would say stay here and make the short drive to the downtown!
Cons: The one thing that could use improving was the shower head, somehow it hit me in the face no matter where I was standing in the shower. We just laughed about it. There's also no plug for the bathtub but we just used a washcloth to plug it up to bathe the Kiddo.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: I became ill and had to cancel the trip. I tried to cancel the reservation 30 hours prior to check in and was charged the full cost of the room. I am finished with this hotel and will never use Kayak.com for any further travel planning.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Service is excellent, room are a lot bigger than expected. It is very clean. But best of all. It is a great value
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Clean place with all you need as a place to sleep. Wifi did not work the first night, but the owner was very helpful and finally got it working. Cable TV, cube fridge, microwave, coffee maker. All the ice you can want at the CircleK. I stayed for a week while attending Gunsite and it was fine.
Cons: Don't expect luxury, very basic but comfortable. Nextdoor to busy road and gas station convenience store: quiet after 9pm, but lots of loud work trucks, cars with loud exhausts, and laborers pulling in and out of the gas station starting at 530am.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location to stop on my way to Jerome, Sedona and then the Grand Canyon. Can't beat the cost, and the room was safe and very clean. Obviously could use some updates, but for less than half the cost of other establishments, I am willing to deal with an outdated shower head.
Cons: Not a huge deal, but the ice machine is inside of the neighboring gas station. (It can be used at no cost to hotel customers)
Good 7,1
Pros: The room was great.
Cons: It was overpriced for what it was. It should be a $55 a night motel, not $75.

Pros: location to town
Cons: no coffee maker in room no small frig in room no radio clock alarm
Okay 4,8
Cons: When we got there the price was the wrong price was $100 more then stated. But they did honor it after supervisor came in
Mediocre 3,7
Pros: Location to downtown.
Cons: Don't get complimentary body products,no hairdryer,rock hard beds,smokey rooms,limited housekeeping.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The rooms have just been remodeled. The Pic on line does not do it justice. The room was very clean, however, you can smell stale smoke in a smokeless room. The mattress was acceptable No hair dryer or shampoo etc. But it tells you that on their web. I would go back .
Cons: As you might guess at this price point there are a few undesirables. Dogs barking and kids running wild. When we did go to bed at 10:30p it did quiet down. We turned the fan on to coverup any future outside noise. The pool is dirty maybe because it has not warmed up yet.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: the size of the room was quite good think next time will try for a wheelchair room
Cons: bathroom was small. no breakfast but restaurant next door. bed were comfortable for the price

Pros: Manager was very helpful and polite. He went above and beyond for my family I can’t thank him enough
Cons: Room was not clean at all. My husband left his phone charger there and housekeeper stole it
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The price was great and wifi was free. The room was clean and staff was friendly. It was a straight shot to historic downtown or other shopping such as Wal-Mart, Costco, Target & Home Depot.
Cons: The lighting in our room was miserable; it consisted of lamps and no overhead so it was very difficult to read the maps & brochures we'd collected, unless we opened the curtains. The room did not have a coffeepot or hair dryer. The parking lot had just been redone, and all the old asphalt was in the empty swimming pool. It's a little hard to figure out how to drive in to the entrance if coming from the east; easier to go past the hotel & turn around further on & come back & make a right turn into the hotel drive.
Okay 4,2
Pros: The staff was friendly.
Cons: It's getting pretty run down. The room wasn't the cleanest.
Okay 4,0
Pros: price
Cons: the rooms are extremely quiet with thin walls, so we heard or neighbors coming in and out all hours of the night (and we have 2 small kids) slamming their door, talking loudly and even the beep each time they scanned their card sounded as if it were our own door being unlocked. My daughter dropped something behind the bed so as I went to grab it, I saw used earplugs on the floor, a plastic lid to a cup, etc. Very dirty. Our nightstand had ants that were crawling on our drinks so we had to set them up by the tv so that we could still drink them. Our bed was very hard and slanted to where I felt as though I would roll into my husband al night, and he felt like he would roll off the bed.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: The manager was very polite and helpful
Cons: Dirty room and housekeeper stole my husbands phone charger
Mediocre 2,5
Pros: nothing
Cons: It was gross! I felt things crawling on my all night. The headboards were disgusting. The shower tiles had paint a few inches down like the didn't even try to not get paint on the. Sink was too far to the left, we would run into wall washing face. Towels are cheap. Bed spread smelled like smoke, even in non smoking room. Never again! Spend more money and go to a better place. Pool is filled in.
