We booked on Kayak for a room with a suite. We paid for a room with a suite. When we checked in, we were given the smallest room in the hotel (according to the manager). She said they do not get good information from Kayak on what the room was supposed to be - and they were sold out otherwise. Since they claimed it was Kayaks fault, they would not offer any compensation whatsoever. One additional comment: We found the Prescott atmosphere to be very pet friendly, especially to dogs. However, a dobermann pinscher, apparently the manager's dog, urinated on the rug in the main lobby. The dog was ushered away quietly with no apparent effort to remediate the incident.

Pros. Very interesting, unique hotel in the downtown area. A wonderful break from the track hotels.
Pros. Historic hotel in downtown Prescott.
Cons. Keep the old elevator but put in a modern one for everyday use.
Pros. Location, easy parking. No parking fee
Pros. I loved the location, they have a great restaurant and bar. If you are into or restored historical locations you will be in heaven. It is beautiful. They accept dogs (see cons) they were really clean everywhere inside and out. AC works great.
Cons. I had my Yorkipoo they put you on the 1st floor because they have hardwood floors. My dog could hardly walk they were so slippery. We were scared that he might jump off the bed and crash and hurt himself. They also have zero places for your dog to go potty. It's basically walk to the park or the sidewalk outside the hotel. Rooms are very small, beds are very hard. Lots of stairs, not disabled friendly at all. Not family friendly.
Pros. It was charming for an adults only kind of place. I think for how old it is the wear and tare of children would be hard in a place like this.
Pros. Beautiful hotel in great location with friendly staff. Highly recommend staying here! Pet friendly but pet owners are required to be responsible so the animals don't disturb other guests which is nice. Good parking close to all the action!
Cons. Historic hotel = small bathrooms & little louder than normal.
Pros. Nothing
Cons. Everything, small rooms a ridiculous elevator, rude and judgemental staff. No management on duty at night. Will never stay there again, nor will my family.
Pros. Quaintness of lobby.
Cons. Very small bathroom. Knees just about hit the wall when sitting on toilet.
