Pros: Fantastic hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable and the shower was decently sized and spacious.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Extra comfy beds, the very modern electrics in the room, the plentiful breakfast, the beautiful and welcoming lounge downstairs and how close the hotel is from everything, shopping and restaurants.
Cons: Nothing I can mention. There are works in the building but they didn’t affect our stay in any way.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Ive stayed before and book to stay there again has had a lovely bar area in which we could relax in the eveing .. However this time we stayed they were doing building work to the bar and restaurant area which had cut the size down in half .. I wasnt informed about building work going on , also got woke up one morning with someone banging with a hammer in the room next door has maintenance was being done .. i understand the hotel has to be refurbished but would of been nice to be informed.. Also room was not the cleanest .
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, modern, fancy
Cons: Breakfast is nice but a little steep on the price
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed very clean room
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Overall a great hotel modern clean good staff so no complaints
Cons: I felt the bar lacked atmosphere
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Beds are the comfiest beds ever! Pillows and duvets are so soft it felt like heaven! The staff were so friendly and welcoming as well. Great value for money as well, with the loaction being right in the centre which is amazing!
Cons: While we were staying they were doing renovations, so from 8.30am there was drilling and hammering - but they had signs up apologising for it all so we knew what to expect. They dont have mini fridges in rooms which would have been more ideal but we only stayed for 1 night so it wasnt too big of an issue.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast with plenty choices. Very nice and warm shower and cleanliness in the room and bathroom.
Cons: Breakfast quickly gets cold though don’t know why. Look or feels like it was warm not hot.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location, cleanliness and the hotel is good as a whole.
Cons: The staff are not respectful and they do not cater for their customers needs. My AirPods and perfume got stolen by the cleaners and my trousers were burnt by their low quality iron and yet no apology or a compensation. They even choose to disgustingly ignore all e-mails prior to the incident. If you treat a loyal customer this way then I wonder how you treat a first comer! Fix your low quality facilities (iron) and train your staff to be respectful. Best regards,
6,5 Good
Pros: Bar pints bit pricy thou 6 pound a pint
Cons: No fridge in exec room
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice rooms. Upscale. Walking distance to Bull Ring shopping and food.

Pros: Nice hotel. Pleasant staff.
Cons: Food and drink is very expensive.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location Room was clean as was hotel Bar was nice
Cons: No hot water in the shower Reception didn’t reply when I phoned to tell them of this Receptionist appeared not remotely bothered when I told her on check out. Well below usual Crowne Plaza standards. Maybe I was just unlucky, it happens. It was just a short overnight stay for me, so bearable but nevertheless....

Pros: The decor was very modern and pleasant
8,2 Excellent
Pros: They gave us a room in a quiet zone so the baby wouldn't be disturbed. We got a very quiet room and were delighted.
Cons: Room service wasn't great. Stained teaspoons in the coffee/tea caddy were worrying. The baby's crib had a solid base and he really didn't like it. We used the bedspread from our bed as a mattress and he slept straight away. The next morning Room Service put the bedspread back on our bed. Obviously a comfy baby isn't a priority

Pros: Luxury and modern styling, lovely lobby, restaurant and classy bar, clean and felt quality, professional and smart staff
Cons: The drunk young italian thug at the bar....... The lack of free satellite tv channels...... Plus the parking that had to be in the NCP around the corner was closed at 11pm when I got back to the hotel!
1,0 Poor
Cons: I was wrongly charged 190 pound and left my bank over drawn the plug in the sink in the bathroom didnt work the kettle didnt work when i spoke to the manager about my problem with them taking the money he was very rude to be i feel like i shoukd be offered something for there inconvince
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I can always rely on a comfortable stay at Hyatt
Cons: Nothjng
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The pool was good and a great temperature. The gym was fantastic. Our housekeeper, Bozena, was most efficient and helpful. As far as first impressions go, Sandy on reception along with Reuben were friendly and incredibly professional. It's a shame we only saw them the first night! Location was fantastic (easy reach of some truly great restaurants), and the view out our window, overlooking the front, was great.
Cons: The breakfast was a little overpriced for what it was - nice but I was expecting a little more range for the price! We got better value for money at the Grand Central Kitchen in town. No instructions on the confusing swim lockers meant many had their belongings 'open'. There was a lot of music noise from outside in the evenings - even on the 18th floor. It did stop at 11pm both nights but it was quite annoying. The sink and bath taps dripped overnight, and the draining wasn't the best in the bath - having a shower standing in quite a bit of water not quite the experience I expected of the Hyatt. No parking on-site was a shame, but the Q-Park Mailbox, as recommended, was indeed a short walk. Still waiting on the 15% discount after validating at reception when we left, however.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The young lady on reception I believe she was called Sandy, was ever so helpful and reassuring during a few issues. She helped me resolve an issue and has wonderful customer service skills and people skills. Without her my stay would not have been as comfortable
Cons: The lady on the switch board was extremely rude. Sighing and tutting. She sounded as if she couldn't be bothered to speak to me and that's when she passed my issue onto Sandy Telling customers in advance about the deposit needed would be helpful
Hotel Indigo Birmingham - Birmingham - Building

R2 655+
Overview Reviews
Reflecting our city’s history as a cradle of invention, Hotel Indigo® Birmingham welcomes you with sleek styling and handcrafted furniture. Kick back in indulgent bathrooms, take a dip in our pool or relish cocktails in the rooftop bar. Reconnecting with reality is instant, thanks to superfast WiFi. Take advantage of our Birmingham hotel with parking to discover our city’s dazzling heritage in the Jewellery Quarter or pop into Harvey Nicks in The Mailbox mall. And after dark, try a 35-day aged steak in our flagship Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill or head off to welcoming, canal-side pubs in Gas Street Basin. Long renowned for its industrial prowess, Birmingham boomed in the 18th century. Entrepreneurs inspired innovation when James Watt and Matthew Boulton invented the industrial steam engine here in 1776. The canal network ensured our city’s presence on the world stage as it became a leading player in the Industrial Revolution. Its wealth was celebrated with a swathe of new building, from the Baroque-style St. Philip's Cathedral to the Museum & Art Gallery, feted for its peerless Pre-Raphaelite art. Today, Birmingham’s regenerating spirit lives on, inspiring the futuristic design of The Cube and each detail in our boutique hotel. You’ll see that same energy in the lovingly crafted designs of Jewellery Quarter shops and in the gourmet offerings of Brindleyplace’s waterside restaurants.

Pros: The hotel was brilliant, so clean and the interior was lovely. The view from the room we had was incredible. The staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival. The on-site restaurant staff were also extremely friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself was of such a good standard, even though we only had breakfast in it. The actual location of the hotel was perfect, so close to three main shopping centres and not a long walk from train station. Also many social attractions such as bars, restaurants, etc.

Pros: Good quality Marriott, good food and bar, genuinely nice staff, amazing service. Will return again!
Cons: There was an ‘Irish’ wedding which seemed to turn into a fight early hours of the morning which caused lack of sleep. However, Hotel recognised this and discounted bill without any discussion else would have been an issue.

Pros: Staff were pleasant
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable for me, the room had quite a few visible cobwebs, the step out of the bath was very low which I found dangerous.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location. Most of the staff were very friendly. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Very noisy at night. Swimming pool only suitable for children. Food in restaurant overpriced.
6,0 Good
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: The check in process was painful. It took about 20mins and it was only us at the desk. We’d called ahead and asked for help and advise about restaurants in the local area. The girl who checked us in, said she didn’t know anything about it and didn’t go and ask either. We asked for breakfast to be added to the second room as it was missed off in error at booking. She didn’t add it. The rooms were quite old fashioned and tired and very hot. The pool was dirty, “sand” or what ever it was all over the pool floor. The showers in the changing rooms were terrible, Luke warm and half the shower head didn’t work.

Cons: Prices in the bar.
7,0 Good
Pros: Great staff and the breakfast was well organised and clean area with loads of good spaces.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful cheerful staffinthe hotel and restaurant.
Cons: Dirty spoon on the tea making tray
7,0 Good
Pros: The Room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. All the staff were very helpful and friendly during our stay. The location was perfect for our visit to the NEC and the free parking was a massive bonus, Probably one of the main reasons I initially chose the hotel.
Cons: The restaurant was an absolute disaster for dinner. We asked for a table on arrival at approx. 5:30pm and the earliest booking was 8:30 which we went for. I also chose to Pay for the dinner deal (I believe it was £50 for £58 credit against food) we went down early for a drink before dinner and the restaurant did not seem busy. (I work in the industry so understand there are lots of factors for this) We were seated early, which was great. On being seated we were told that there were no steaks available apart from a couple of Ribeyes and no burgers. You can understand our disappointment with this being a Steakhouse! Had we of known this when booking we probably would of eaten somewhere else but with it now being so late we would not of been able to obtain food anywhere else. When our ribeyes arrived they weren't cooked well and the sauce was not good. there were lots of other little issues, but I wont go into detail. The staff were very good dealing with everything and they actually took one of the meals of our bill. but when the bill came the prepaid amount hadn't been taken off, and this ended up being a very long complicated process to sort out. The staff were all very helpful and patient with this. The rooms looked a bit "dated" and could do with a freshen up and a little more attention to detail. for example -Toilet roll holder not attached to the wall properly (in both rooms) so the toilet roll ended up on the floor. - Missing curtain tie backs. purely cosmetic, but noticeable - general cleanliness, mainly in the bathroom, dirty edges of bath and surrounds.

Pros: Lovely hotel. Radiators were on all night which made the room unbearably hot though! Everything else fine though and very convenient location.

Cons: Bed
7,1 Good
Pros: The night porter, maintenance and Breakfast staff were polite and friendly and the breakfast was good.
Cons: Reception on arrival were very miserable, mini bar was warm, room card kept cancelling. The hotel was fully booked with Christmas parties so some very loud brash people.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed the view from the 9th floor.
Cons: The cleaning staff did not knock before coming into the room. The room was poorly decorated.
6,2 Good
Pros: Location Room size
Cons: TV did not work Bed too soft

Pros: Everything
6,0 Good
Pros: Location was great. Staff in general were well mannered. Up to 18 floors. Has a gym, but didn't get to see it. Well sized rooms also. Shoe machines on the floors along with ice.
Cons: I have to say I love the Raddison blu brand but this will now be the 1st of two lower than average reviews I'll be writing. First of all I felt lucky and a little excited to get a good deal of £88 per night (with breakfast) as apposed to the £150-£170 most sites were advertising (including Raddison blu on their club Carlson membership site). It started with the arrival with my colleague, a small lobby for the size of the hotel. No one there at first but they came out seconds later so it wasn't too much of a problem. We explained to the front desk that I had booked the rooms for two of us, but rather than looking it was assumed it would be under separate names. Could have been my fault so I'll let that go. We then both checked in, only to find that both rooms were under my name. This was done quite fast, which was good and we were sent on our way with a brief explanation about the breakfast in the morning. Missed the offers that were on hand and not valid at check-in so no upsell. Had they asked we would have taken one of the offers. I did show my club Carlson card and asked if there was anyway of upgrading as to which she said "I'm afraid not as the hotel is fully booked". Which was understandable (remember this part!). I was getting myself together at the reception desk, at which she thanked me. She then thanked me again and gave me a look to say do that somewhere else! I looked around and saw a queue behind me, which I was surprised as there was no one there when we arrived. I apologised when I left the desk but left with a slightly sour taste in my mouth. I then went to my room which smelt of cigarettes. I wasn't sure whether someone was taking a chance on smoking in their room or it was a stench in the actual room. The carpet had stains that seemed well embedded (my colleagues room looked as though blood had been engraved into the carpet with stains too!), the tv had very poor reception (so that was the Brits out of the window). Bathroom was a good size and clean, so was the room in general. But lacked any homely or business feel.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Well, I had to move rooms twice. The rooms were very noisy and rooms not hugely clean. The bar / reception area was really cold.
7,0 Good
Pros: the breakfast was fine, plenty of choice etc the location was the best aspect of this hotel as it was literally 5 minutes walk from the Hippodrome where I went to see Swan Lake My hotel room was nice, very spacious, clean and comfortable bed, nice decor
Cons: the room was quite noisy, the sound of traffic outside was persistent - I'm surprised the windows are not glazed. Otherwise, no other issues
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was passed out drunk in my room after a somewhat heated exchange wit my partner. She for reasons only known to whatever deity you pretend to pray to elected to come over. This was an excellent choice assisted by the staff of the Radisson blu hotel.
Cons: I have to use a key card to access my floor, its a layer of security that is utterly redundant.

Pros: Comfortable beds and pillows were so soft And fluffy.
Cons: When I arrived the bin in the bathroom was full with rubbish already and had used tampons on top, absolutely disgusting.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is deceiving from the outside, it’s absolutely stunning! The decor, furniture, rooms, restaurant etc all match the pictures! Looks just stunning! The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. The hotel is also just outside the town centre and close to restaurants. Definitely recommend for a nice stay with friends or your significant other :)
Cons: The only let down is the pool area - perfect if you have kids but for a nice couples day probably isn’t ideal!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is decorated to a high standard and is very clean. Walking in, we were acknowledged by the receptionist immediately who gave clear instructions to our room alongside a small welcoming gift. The rooms are lovely and clean. All you need is already provided e.g, hit drinks, shampoos, bottled water. The general feel of the hotel was great. I'd love to return at a later date. Lastly, you're not far from town, so if you want to have a drink there's no need to drive.
Cons: My only complaint is that the jacuzzi didn't seem to be working.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great welcome, lovely decor. Allowed an early check in to decorate the room for valentine's day. Clean and comfy bed. Modern bathroom with a extra large shower
Cons: I can honestly say there wasn't anything we didn't like at the hotel.

Pros: It was okay, but it took a while to top up popular items, thing were not as tasty as they could have been as they were being kept warm for a long time.
Cons: I travelled with an 8 year old and a 5 year old, the pool was popular, however there was a particularly over zealous young man who "popped" in to tell us off. Not consistent, and kind of spoilt the fun for small children

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room for organizing repacking to travel. Sufficient places to sit at dinner for a single person. Excellent personnel response in replacing burnt out light bulb. Location wrt airport and railroad. Value based on my particular reservation was good. I was paying out of personal pocket. But I would return for the same price. No bright LEDs to disturb my sleep Nice breakfast.
Cons: Nothing bad No sign if water in fridge is free (many hotels charge for this) I would like decaf earl grey for room to help sleep Burger at dinner. Glad that this was well-done. But the bun was very dry. Needed a nice sauce to make it all more moist and flavorful. Restaurant did not seem to know if a British beer: ale was available. Yes I liked the ale provided but the server did not know about it. It would be good if there are real British ales on tap instead of the usual corporate beers. Is it possible to get United miles for staying at Novotel? This Would influence my decisions. John Taylot

Pros: We had an early morning flight, so being just across from the departure area was hugely convenient. Check in and check out were both quick and convenient.
Cons: The rooms were reasonable, however couldn't be described as spacious. For the price and convenience this wasn't unexpected though.

Pros: Convenient to Birmingham Airport! Great for early morning flight. They even gave us our b'fast in a bag the night before since our plane left before the breakfast opened.
