Pros: The hotel was absolutely stunning, the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb and our evening meal was one of the best meals we have ever had. Breakfast was also fantastic with a large selection of pastries and fruit. The location of the hotel is perfect with everything just a short stroll away which was exactly what we wanted.

Breakfast was included and snacks were available all day and also included in the rate. Would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Location, opposite the railway and bus station.
Cheap rates. Not a lot of services, but is good enough
Relatively comfortable room
Cons: In comparison to other ibis budget, I missed a microwave for public use.
Very, very slow water drainage in shower. Some nights, shower was more an alternance of hot and cold water than a mix.
Internal building sounds, like doors closing, were more a problem than external soundproofing, for me well blocked by the window.
7,5 Good
Pros: The size of the room was great. Having an English speaking staff member on hand was a big relief. It was a bonus having pieces of fresh fruit in a bowl at breakfast.
Cons: The different shaped tables in the dining area made it awkward to get to a seat, especially if people where already seated.. The room was needing a bit more attention in the shower to be completely clean. A proper single lounge chair rather than a stool to sit on in the room would make it way more comfortable..

Pros: This hotel was only a 15 min walk (even for a tired 4yr old) to the center/train station but felt more like a small tucked away hotel you might find on a hillside somewhere. The courtyard/pool is stunning, with a really nice space for eating outside as well. The wind in Nîmes meant it never got too hot, but also meant the water in the pool was very very cold. The train to the beach at Grau du Roi (where the water is a bit warmer) took less than an hour and was only €1 each way. Great boulangerie across the street, plus a Carrefour just around the corner. The friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff really sets this hotel apart. I travel extensively for work and can only think of one other hotel with staff so helpful, and that was after staying at that hotel for a month, not just the few days I spent at L'Orangerie.

Cons: Some difficulties with finding entrance to underground parking which is right next to hotel. Parked in another park with same management and cost €21 overnight. Sounds of water passing through pipes, perhaps toilet flushes heard all night. Not loud but enough to be annoying. Think we should have shut corridor door to piping system that was opposite our room to perhaps lessen this. Restaurant unfortunately not open due to preparations for September Nîmes Ferias. Some untidiness and disruption in entranceway because of this too.

Pros: Very modern in an historic building. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. The building was convenient to the rail station and all of the historic sites.

Pros: This hotel was a revelation. Quite small and tall, with no lift but so central. The staff were superb, friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were able in a large public underground car park about 200 yards from the hotel. The rooms although not huge were a good size with a super en-suite, breakfast was served beside the reception area on the ground floor and the buffet was great with plenty of choice. The hotel is right in the centre of the city and most places were within 15 minutes walk. The roman remains are spectacular and have to be visited, but this is not to take anything away from one of the nicest cities we have been to. We were only 45 minutes from the Camargue and the Med. About an hour from Arles , Avignon and a bit further from Alba La Romain ( This is a must visit as is the Pont Du Gard). The receptionist recommended a small restaurant about 40 metres from the hotel called 'Les Folies Boucheres'. We can highly recommend this restaurant as well, in fact JUST GO!! All in all a terrific holiday destination which we have earmarked to visit again and to stay once again at the Central Hotel.

Pros: The hotel is next to Arenes, it is just perfect, as well it is nice, clean and quiet. We will be back next time for sure.

Pros: The location was perfect for a stroll at night, close to attractions, places to shop and eat.
Cons: The Hotel locks after 19:00. We were not aware of this. We did not get the code to get back in the building after 19:00. It's good thing I asked for the wifi code before heading out for supper. A gentleman offered to call the hotel to get us back in.

Pros: Location but everything in nimes is close by no matter what hotel you pick
Cons: Let's be honest it's a cheap budget price but a hostel would be better. You're better off spending 20 euros more on a decent hotel. Shared toilet was awful. Rooms pokey. It's like cheap student digs. I would avoid at all costs. I wish booking.com was more open & honest You book a room but you can't get a refund if hotel does not meet basic standards.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location was excellent. Breakfast plentiful and good. It adequately met our need for a short stay in Nimes.
Cons: Our room was fine, but our friend found stained/dirty sheets and pillowcases on the bed, and the bathroom was not clean, so it was not a pleasant stay for her.

Cons: No aircon - fan in the room which made it bearable - mid 30s in August. Only coffee/tea/fruit juice available for breakfast that morning but there is a patisserie 20m down the street so we bought some croissant there and brought them back to have with the drinks.

Pros: The hotel is very convenient for the station as it's only about 50 meters from the station door. It's about 10 minutes walk to the Arena down a beautiful pedestrian boulevard. The staff were helpful and allowed us to leave our bags before check-in as we arrived about 10.00h. And after we checked out so it was easy to collect them on the way to the station.
Cons: The room was ok but a bit noisy first thing in the morning. The bed was a good size, but did drop slightly in the middle. It was fine for 1 or 2 nights but I wouldn't want to stay longer as the pillows were slightly lumpy as well. Against this it was quite good value for money.

Pros: Good location, just a few steps away from the historic town. Staff super nice, always kind and willing to help with indications if requested. The facilities were correct, and clean, the room was big enough and the bathroom was comfortable. We weren´t expecting luxury for this price and we were pleased with what we got. If you travel on a budget is a great option

Cons:

Pros:
Cons: The room wasn't enough clean when we came. And then we found several bugs in the room! After that administrator offered only to change the room that was worst than our one. During the evening there was trash directly close the elevator! Wi-fi was awful. Periodically didn't work at all. And once the woman cleaner knocked the door and after a few seconds opened the door by her key - we were relaxed in she disturbed us!

Pros: Don't bother...
Cons: Paper thin walls... Did not sleep!
7,5 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the staff was nice. Quick check-in. Very good location.
Cons: The corridor looked kind of strange, it was too dark even after switching up the lamps. The room was very dark. The window looked at a lichthof sort of space.

Pros: Perfect room ! Clean, spacious, good shower and toilet, great view from 22nd floor.
Cons: Street Parking difficult (more cars than Parking Places). Found a parking in nearby Media Markt garage: perfect but does not open until 10:00am next morning.
