10,0 Excellent
Pros: Design and style of the hotel
Cons: Oxford Social only open on weekends
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazingly friendly & helpful. The design & location of the hotel were beautiful. The lobby, our room and the swimming pool area were clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends & family!
Cons: The bathroom door in our hotel room was broken. Otherwise, the room was in great condition!
9,1 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very clean. The staff were all pleasant, professional and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. It's a very short walk to great restaurants, shopping and Petco Park. I would definately stay here again.
Cons: Parking at the hotel was very expensive ($47 per day). The rooms were a little small for the cost of them and it would have been nice if there was a mini-fridge in them. There is also no "sundries" store, so if you want a drink or a snack there is no where to get that. We also called for room service and no one answered the phone.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I wish I could’ve taken that bed and pillows with me!!! Lol You’re smack in the middle of everything so we walked to most of our destinations. Staff is very kind and inviting. I totally loved the experience and will be coming back!
Cons: Perhaps the time in room service delivery could have been a little faster. Bucket of ice took about 20 minutes and my wife fell sleep while we waited for our late night snack.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I like the location, the staff and the hotels restaurants.
Cons: The rooms are small and cramped. The parking charge was excessive. There were never any news papers available. The noise from the in house partying was loud at 2 o'clock in the morning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was a wonderful, clean, hotel in a great area of San Diego. I would highly recommend this hotel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great, location with a well designed and comfortable room. Pool area is well kept
Cons: My pet hate! The hotel felt the need to charge USD 25 under the amenties section. They said it’s a resort fee, ie to use the hotel. So all their good service goes out the window for USD 25 as you feel ripped off when you leave! For a small amount versus the rate is it really worth doing this?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Pendry Team is absolutely top-notch. Each team member regardless of job description is warm, polite, welcoming and eager to go above and beyond the call of duty at every opportunity. I love the overall aesthetic as well. A stunning property.
Cons: No. The place is perfect, I wld trade my apartment in Manhattan to live here permanently.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property. I loved the rooftop pool space.
Cons: Rooms were smaller than I expected and rather pricey.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location Clean Design
Cons: The hotel charge almost 650US$ per nigh and there is no breakfast include... Value fo money is poor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The People - everyone was what you would expect in a first class hotel.
Cons: Yes, I eventually had to leave it.
6,3 Good
Pros: This was our 6th time staying at the Pendry and maybe our last. We checked out early by one day because the room was not up to a 5star hotel standard (may not even make 3 stars). However, besides housekeeping and one person at the front desk, overall the service was very good. Drink and food service at the pool was excellent and so was room service. To the manager's credit, he did allow us to check out early without penalty and reimbursed us for the laundry service. Unfortunately, we most likely will not return unless the rooms and pool are renovated.
Cons: Unfortunately, the hotel looks very worn out already. Room smelled musty when we arrived and the couch looked like it needed to be replaced immediately. The rooms are typically small, so we upgraded to an Executive Suite which had more space, but a horrible view and definitely not worth the extra cost. Pool looked like it needed a renovation also -- towels were frayed, no one helped to set up chairs, and actial pool and spa looked dirty. A lot of stains on the pool chairs. Laundry service was horrible with shirts still being wrinkled. Housekeeping was sorely understaffed. Room was not cleaned until 6:30pm and no apologies were made. Both housekeeping and the front desk dismissively stated that they were at capacity. Not acceptable for a 5 star hotel.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: We did not use the pool or the workout facilities. We sat at the pool area and had a drink. It was beautiful and the fire pits were on so the ambiance was great. The hotel was close to everything which is why we chose it. I would stay again and try to use the facilities and spend more time at the hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. When we mentioned that we were celebrating our 30 year wedding anniversary, they gave us a credit for our hors d' oeuvres which was very nice.
Cons: We felt that the parking should not cost so much since you are staying at the hotel. We got to the pool bar right at 6 but the bar closed early which was a little disappointing.
1,0 Poor
Pros: The view was the only positive.
Cons: Compulsory resort fee which provided services we couldn’t utilize because the staff wanted to go home early. We were told they’re not affiliated with the hotel and to take it up with them if we didn’t like it. And the noise! Holy cow

Pros: Nothing
Cons: I had a bad experience staying here. I did contact you guys and was disconnected!! People fighting in the hallways at 1am banging on our door and just making so much noise. I was terrified thought this was supposed to be a 4 star hotel.

Pros: Loved the location! Right at the start of the Gaslamp Quarter! Trolly right outside the hotel. Staff went out of their way to ensure the best stay! The doorman and front desk always had suggestions/recommendations/directions to whatever your new adventures were for the day. I will definitely be staying here again.

Pros: The room upgrade provided, but not requested and the 2 free beverages, as well as having a great Mc Cormick ans Schnmicks restaurant on hand and good business center.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was nice, being close to gaslamp was convenient for nights out. the bedding was always fresh and soft and the staff was excellent. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting areas. Excellent shower, and bathrobes
Cons: I wish the rooms were a little bigger. There was not much space to put our suitcases for a King sized room. There was also a conference being held by the pool so it was difficult to get to the pool without interrupting the conference. - I also wish the room service food was better. The food we got was tasteless and lacked seasoning. - You have to pay to park and valet was $50 a night. You'd think for the amount of money you spend on the hotel valet would be free.

Pros: The staff was exceptional
Cons: The extra service charges associated with valet parking- too much !

Pros: Great location. Close to downtown San Diego For a short and affordable Uber ride but yet far enough away to feel remote. On a peninsula and the only resort on the piece of property which gave it a great feel.

Pros: The location was amazing
Cons: We found an empty soda can under the bed the day we left. not sure if they cleaned good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was fantastic! One of my favourites I’ve stayed in! Very clean, close to beach, friendly staff. Rooms: large room with really comfy beds and pillows! Pool: great pool area with a separate adult pool. The pool service was awesome with tasty food and drinks. Restaurant: in the evening we sat on the patio beside the fire. Excellent food and wine. There is another grab and go place to get some breakfast, yogurt, fruit, muffins, coffee, etc. It was good however the smaller items add up $$. Gym: nicest hotel gym I’ve been in. Lots of new cardio equipment, some lighter dumbbells, machines, medicine balls, and large exercise balls. There are group classes available (Spin, Yoga, etc) however my time didn’t permit and I wasn’t able to attend. There is a shuttle from hotel to downtown Coronado, leaves on the hour from hotel and 15 minutes after the hour to head back to hotel. This was handy to get into town. We would then take a Lyft/Uber from there when we went to do things in off island in San Diego.
Cons: Just be mindful that this hotel is a little out of the way so you are limited for food options if you want to be mindful of spending. The grab and go place in the hotel is great, however prices can add up quickly and before you know it, two breakfast sandwiches, fruit, and a couple granola bars our bill was almost $40. There are mini fridges in the room so a grocery store visit before hand may be a better option for some people who want to spend their money on other fun parts of San Diego . I wasn’t surprised of the prices as this hotel is so nice, but wanted to mention so others are aware

6,3 Good
Pros: The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a huge amount of amenities which makes it great for families and as a destination resort.
Cons: The room was noisy in the am since they allow pool use at 8am there were people having a good time at 8am. Also found the hallway noise to be excessive. The AC in the room never really cooled the room. The hotel is well away from the town so taxis Uber or shuttle is a must.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, spacious bathroom/bathtub, balcony and large pools
Cons: Floor carpet was really moist from previous guests probably...

Pros: The food was great and location was fantastic for getting around the city and to the airport.
Cons: The a/c was an old model and did not perform as well as I would like.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The location and the room itself were beautiful.
Cons: They failed to inform us that the hotel was due for a scheduled power shut off between 9pm and around 10-11 in the morning. We were not able to charge phones or watch tv or use the lights. They claimed that they had given us a flyer and that there were signs posted, but we were not given any flyers and there were no signs until I went to the main lobby to inquire about the power being out. I felt like they were being dishonest with us. We saw that they had provided a flashlight and two glow sticks in the room, so they knew a power shut off was coming but didn't tell us. I thought that the flashlight and glow sticks were because the hotel was near water and was prone to storms. My friend ordered room service that never came. When we checked out we were given the total bill, after we left I was charged more than what they told me the charges were going to be. We used the room normally and didn't damage anything so I don't understand where the additional charges came from. I voiced my concerns at check out but I was handed my bill with no apologies or offers to make the situation right. I got the impression that they had gotten my money and no longer cared about my issues with the room. I would not stay here again.

Pros: The staff at the hotel was the most redeeming quality. They were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The wifi worked as expected. I unfortunately don't have anything else positive to report.
Cons: The location of the hotel is in a pretty terrible part of town. I did not feel safe being out alone in the surrounding area, so I spent most of my time downtown near the conference I was attending. The free breakfast was barely edible. I woke up to the sounds of someone throwing up on the balcony outside and was afraid to leave my room. The property is very run down and I would not stay there again.
