Pros: Ideal location for people wanting to experience Canal Street. Not far away from the train station. We also liked the grandeur of the rooms. They were nice as a special occasion stay. Staff were lovely! And we were able to leave our luggage until we were ready to go for our train back.

Cons: When I booked this room it said (possible noise from bar) so that is what I expected, until I got back into my room and the DJ music from underneath was so loud and full of base that I may aswel have been in the bar myself. Don't be fooled this is a noise you are not getting away from until 2am. The specification should be more clear when people are booking. Staff at midnight were not helpful at all!

Cons: Unfortunately it was a little bit noisy. The bottle bins were emptied very early. Our milk was also sour for hot drinks, but this would have been put right if we had of mentioned it.

Cons: It was overly priced for the size and standard of the room - very small - there was no parking and had to use expensive parking at £25 per night. Staff were far from customer focused and would not be staying again

Cons: While showering the floor in the bathroom got quite wet but easily dried wasn’t much of an issue. The walls I feel are quite thin as you can hear a lot going on in the hallway throughout the morning and night. In the morning it can be quite noisy however what would you expect being in the city centre! The noise wasn’t an issue for myself or my partner - just for people who are looking for a quieter hotel, this may not be the one for you!

Pros: The hotel is a typical city centre hotel. Manchester City Centre is not too big, so it is a acceptable walking distance from this hotel to every facility in the city centre. The hotel is just a place to sleep, with no extra facilities. But the hotel is clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Our bathroom seemed refurbished quite recently, and clean. The hotel was a little bit too expensive compared to the overall quality, but staying in Manchester on game weekends might not be representative. One tip is to check out the neighborhood before you order.

Cons: The shower wouldn't drain and therefore flooded into the entire bathroom. Also the wifi was awful, maybe worked for a few minutes the entire stay.

Cons: Everything was shoddy. The bathroom lock was broken so was just a metal stick, and there was a notice in a glass frame and the glass was broken in one corner. It was loud and could hear people walking around reception upstairs and somebody was banging on our door at 3am looking for their room. There was a green emergency light that kept me awake most of the night when the noise didn't. Toilet paper was thin and rubbish and it was cold. The bedding was crinkly and the duvet cover had no buttons to keep it fastened so it kept coming loose

Cons: The unsettling sense that the room could be broken into at any point in the night. The fact that there is no shower door. The fact that its difficult to sit dowm on the toilet because there's a sink in the way; the fact there's a CCTV monitor downstairs in a derelict private cab office which is part of the same place and is possibly filming the room (I don't think it is but you get a sense that it could be) But ultimately I didn't like the feeling that you are getting totally ripped off for sub-standard accommodation.

Cons: Really dated. Room smelled like weed. I say in manchester monthly and for the price I paid I could stay at the crowne plaza with change. Unfortunately the crowne plaza was full. I would say it would be worth staying here for £40 per night including breakfast. Because breakfast isn't that great either.

Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Room had no curtains , was poorly decorated and refurbishment incomplete. Theee was no where to hang anything. Bathroom was unfinished and shower cubicle was too unsightly to use. Toilet rolls were kept on top of the toilet dustbin. The noise of the club below the room meant that I couldn't sleep until after 2am. I woke up early in the morning to a view of someone working in their office. I Will not stay again.

Cons: We were put in a room with a broken door. The door was off the top hinge and therefor the door had to be lifted each time we opened and closed it. As 2 young girls this is not the easiest thing to do! I went to explain the situation and was told that they knew that the door was broken and it’s fine you just have to lift it. Was told there were no other rooms left as they were sold out.
