When we checked in we where greeted by a lovely man who was very helpful! Would definitely recommend
It was really close to city centre and Manchester Picadilly Station which were really pleasant things when travelling in Manchester. they also provided free tea/coffee as well as free wifi access in which most hotels in Manchester would not provide them with the range of price given. Nevertheless, it was great when I was staying there with my friend and easy to locate and travel around Manchester as well
Although I know that they will have bar below the rooms itself, if you were type of person with difficulties on sleeping with some noises, I would not recommend this hotel. But, the noises were not that bad. Although it was loud the music they were playing mostly classic songs so I felt like nostalgic hearing radios.
Very central on Canal Street, firstly it's above a noisy gay bar ( open til 4am on weekends) so if you're a light sleeper or want an early night this is probably not the place for you. Simple room but clean and what I'd expect for the money.
The location is great, central in the city, close to tourist attractions. The heating in the room is working well and the size of the room is also satisfying.
This hotel is the second floor upon a bar/club, therefore it should be anticipated that it becomes really noisy until the late night. Visitors who seek for quiet stay are not recommended.
