Good location, modern. Clean.
Poor value for money. Poor selection of breakfast items.
The location is very good and conventient. The hotel is comfortable and clean.
The dining area is very clinical and there's no atmosphere. The rooms have got no information about Manchester and it's facilities.
Location, easy access to the city centre.
Great location, walking distance to Manchester Central, busy areas and shopping areas. Safe area even at late hours. Breakfast is good including eggs, bacon, fruits, juices, yogurt. Rooms are comfortable and convinient. Modern bathrooms, everything working perfectly. Great value for money and I would definitely stay there again.
Limited number of towels, only one per guest. No toiletries and hair drier in the room. No mini bar.
The location was ideal for the city centre, near train station, well worth the visit.
staff were very friendly and helpful, room was comfortablethe location was ideal and near to all facilities
the bathroom is almost a hazard to guests and especailly to elderly or for people with difficulties you have to step up in to the bath room and it is very small and you have to pull/push with great force to close the door. The hotel also charged the credit card for the full stay even though I rang twice to confirm that I would be paying in cash on arrival. wont be using this website again!!
Decent shower, cool room on a hot day. Value for money. Modern. Clean.
Reception area and lobby also doubles as the Breakfast area and bar. This means visitors, tradesmen and general drop-ins all pass through the area. Breakfast and a late night drink (from a trolley) is not relaxing therefore. Perhaps that is what the building works were addressing and why the front door was locked at breakfast (0830hrs) - colleagues could not come in to meet me and had to get the door unlocked so I could meet them and my taxi. Reception did not answer telephone when rang at 0530hrs for an iron - but when I went down there was someone standing there at reception... who told me to go to the ironing room. Ironing room excellent - but a separate room.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
Room was clean, pod design bathroom was great - very clean and easy to use shower. Hotel is in a great location, close to business area as well as the shopping centre.
I enquired about parking facilities before confirming my booking and was told there was a car park in the road behind the hotel (St James Street, Manchester) and I could get a discount card if I parked there (q car park). I wasn't given directions or sent a map and was led to believe it was easy to find....unfortunately it wasn't! I drove round and round the area but couldn't find it. It turns out St James Street is in two halves - one either side of another road and the one I went down was the wrong one. I ended up parking in an ncp car park which cost me a lot more money. More instruction should be given when staff advise on parking facilities.
