10,0 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently located at the Marina, beautiful views from the hotel room. Friendly staff, self parking. Free 2 bottles of water every day. We got a room with good view of the lagoon next door and can easily enjoy the Friday fireworks in our room.
Cons: The parking space in the garage is a little too small for SUVs. And its hard to get a spot later in the evening.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and modern hotel/room/overall facilities. Associated dining restaurants are very popular, visited one of them (Katsumidori) and enjoyed the fresh dishes there. The fitness center was compact but with better facilities overall.
Cons: The room I booked was advertised as Ocean Front View Room, but the room we got was partial ocean front view+partial city view; was a little bit upset at first but later on found the view was still profound.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked toilet with the bidet.
Cons: No balcony
5,0 Okay
Pros: outside pool
Cons: the room is too dusty and not cleaned well. The cookie crumbs are all over the corner of the carpet, and there are snuffers on the wall. Moreover, when I found a crawling worm in the bathroom, I changed my room once, and the changed room was too dusty.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel - good facilities (e.g. 3 pools incl. a small infiniti pool). Staff was very helpful
Cons: No problem for us - though it's not directly at the beach

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Accomadated a late check out
9,6 Excellent
Pros: One of the best hotel in Waikiki facilities wise. It’s much quieter than the other big resorts around. The highlight for us was the pool on rooftop with a fabulous view of the ocean ( perfect spot for sunset view). The room was clean and spacious. Staffs were nice and helpful. Parking was also easy and plenty. The hotel also provides shuttles to go to Waikiki beach and the shopping mall.
Cons: A bit of walk to Waikiki beach. And the shuffle to the beach stops running before 8pm.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very nice and helpfull
Cons: walk a little bit far from the shopping center

Pros: The staff is polite and helpful, especially the concierge. When we book the tour, the man works as a concierge is super nice and patient. Also, the room was great and quiet despite the noise outside. The facility like swimming pool and gym is also good.
Cons: I ordered four in-room dinings including sushi, pancake, fruits, and sukiyaki. I can say the fruit with yogurt is pretty good. But the rest of them needs some improvement. They look good but taste just so so.

Cons: I stay there at 11-15-11/17, there is a ANA HONOLULU MUSIC WEEK show on 11/16 12:00, but when I ask the staff from front desk, she kept telling me there is no any performance during the time, after that I showed her the information on the website, she still acclaimed that “The Ritz-Carlton Waikiki Lau’ula Park” is not The Ritz-Carlton Waikiki’s property. Fortunately, the member from Ground floor kindly show me the way to the park in person.

Cons: No
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Ambiance & Decor
Cons: It's a little far from the beach
5,4 Okay
Cons: The property is squeezed in between parking lots. I would advice not to spring for a balcony. There is no view except if garages.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I've stayed here before and I love it as much as I did last year. We got a junior suite. The room was big. The location is perfect and within walking distance of everything that you want and need. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: I would've like if they placed the suites higher up. We paid a lot for a view of the parking garage. :| I think that the partitioned off living room space would look better if it had a more Japanese rice paper as the walls (doesn't have to be transparent). The bamboo mat styled wall makes the room look a bit cheap. I would've like a minibar selection of food.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The resort fees.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, good style, fast and informative check-in. Resort fee includes access to some useful amenities and valet parking. Location is in a quiet area, and 10 minute walk to start of main Waikiki beach.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Downtown Beaches Cafes
Cons: Expensive Accomodation Too expensive Just crazy
7,5 Good
Pros: Polite unobtrusive staff and very efficient housekeeping.
Cons: No breakfast available, restaurant closed Mondays and policy of not charging meals and drinks to the room so you had to pay as you go.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing. So happy to answer any silly questions I threw their way.
Cons: I thought the distance from Waikiki was going to be a problem, but it was only a 20 min. scenic walk next to the ocean. The limited restaurant choices in the area is the one negative in my book.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Away from the high rise madness
Cons: Poor street signage
4,0 Okay
Pros: Nice spacious room, friendly staff
Cons: When I checked in, after already paying my full hotel fee in advance, I was told that there is an additional fee of $25 PER DAY. This is to cover parking, yoga class, coffee, and other items I had no interest in. Be aware of this when you book this hotel
7,0 Good
Pros: Excellent location - on Waikiki but far enough away from the big hotels to avoid the huge crowds and commercial shops.across from Diamond Head so gorgeous view. Balcony was lovely extra.
Cons: There was no restaurant even for breakfast. The restaurant closest was exorbitant - Hau Tree Lanai. Very pretty but ridiculous prices. Travel into town instead ! Also the room smelled - I thought it smelled moldy from the sea, it bothered me most of the time.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are specious, clean and fitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beach towels provided by the hotel were a huge plus. A fantastic place for a relaxing and pleasant holiday.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our room, facilities and assistance given by hotel staff who were super friendly and helpful at all hours of the day. We liked the complimentary water bottle (which is a super environmentally friendly alternative to providing bottles of water) and the hotel is in a calm and quiet part of Waikiki (Diamond Head). It was a short walk into Waikiki.
Cons: There wasn't anything we did not like about our stay at Lotus Honolulu. Feedback would include adding recycling bin options for guests.

Friendly staff and great hospitality - lots of place to sit in the lobby. Free bottles of water daily and coffee and tea available in the room. The amenity was good.
Cons: I stayed in a standard double room which was facing the hallway of the other building and there was no couch to relax in my room - air ventilation in the bathroom was not good in the room I stayed.

Pros: The adjoining rooms made for a spacious 2 bedroom suite for 5 or more.. The beds were King (master) and 2 Queen size plus a sofa bed. Great for teens. Breakfast and happy hour were plentiful and beautifully located poolside.
Cons: The “kitchenette” was no more than a mini bar and microwave. No plates/cutlery or even coffee cups! Asked at reception and was reluctantly given some plastic ones. Ended up taking what we needed at breakfast

Pros: Surprised that a bottle of champagne was delivered to our room.
Cons: The electrical outlet in the kitchen was not working. Tried to make coffee but when I turned the ON button on the coffee pot it did not turn out. Took the pot to the bathroom where it worked. Not a bid deal.

2,5 Mediocre
Pros: The security guard was cool and the maintainance guy was cool.. That's it
Cons: Front desk, the room, and the hidden fees.. Wifi cost 12$ They hold 100$ Practically everything else.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Bathroom is great
Cons: Sanitary items and amenities are additionally charged. Though it was a 2 bedroom unit, we're struggle to suit 4 luggages.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Chill easy environment
Cons: Would like a fitness room available on site
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked how nice they were. Literally they gave us a hospitality room to rest before our flight free of Charge. The bartenders and staff were super nice
Cons: The fact that we had to leave and didn't see more of hawaii
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Design, size of property, warmth and professionalism of staff. Value is great and since I live on another Hawaiian island, I liked the location, a somewhat quiet area of Waikiki but very close to the action. Great for LGBT travellers as well. You are far enough from the madding crowds and most of the guests were warm and friendly.
Cons: Pool needs to be heated and music is too loud. Also, (and I wish this was at every hotel), the shower was a bit complicated and took time to figure out how to properly adjust temperature, etc. Instructions would be helpful. Also, I called to find out where the channel guide for the tv was located and Front Desk did not know. Remodel those elevator cabs.....yuck!
9,7 Excellent
Pros: This place was great for us being the budget travellers. The room was a little out dated but it was clean, spacious and had everything we wanted. I would recommend this hotel!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Exceeded expectations in every way possible! Amazing upgrades for my birthday including an incredible pool view and a bottle of champagne! I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Waikiki!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The one-bedroom suite was very comfortable and we had music in the evenings which was really nice. The restaurant serves great options for vegetarians and it is very tasty. There was complementary sunscreen (reef safe) and coffee in the morning.
Cons: More tea options would be beneficial (like green tea). The complimentary bikes were extremely old and in bad shape, it made our bike-trip really challenging and the hotel expects 600$ if you damage or lose them.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The suit here is terrific. Very spacious and uniquely decorated with everything feeling so correct for a Hawai’i holiday. Most importantly, the room is FULL of sunshine and has a great open city view. Unbelievably settled at such a reasonable rate!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The food was great and the location was good. The New Years party was good and the gifts we got were a lovely touch The front desk staff were fantastic We really loved the music too
Cons: The restaurant staff weren't so great. We booked a table then they gave it to someone else. I felt disappointed by the $25 charger per day - all we got for that was towels and cold water. We didn't drink the coffee as it wasn't good and we felt we should have got clean glasses in our room - we had the same dirty ones the whole stay
10,0 Excellent
Pros: As a local resident, they dropped the resort fee for me and gave me a discount for park. Much mahalo. We stayed from time to time and the people at the front desk all recognized us.
Cons: Nothing.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The hotel boasts being on the beach however it does not have enough facilities to cater all sun bathers. Even if you do find a sun bed around the pool you are requested to vacate the bed in the afternoon to cater for music or wedding functions. If l could find a sun bed on the beach it would have cost me over $800 over my vacation of which l did not budget for.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great and the staff is excellent. In particular, Reuben provided a warm welcome and found me a room so I could check in early. Gui Mei (I hope I have spelled that correctly) made up my room beautifully every day and was always cheerful and welcoming when I saw her.
Cons: There’s nothing I didn’t like. This was my second stay and I’ll definitely be back.

Pros: The location is very good. near to all the things you want to see. A lot pof shopping, places to eat and places to visit are just walking distance. The vibe is very cool. The free trolley around the city is a good bonus.
Cons: Since, we came on a peak season, a lot there were a lot of people. It's very hard to get a place to eat. most of the tables were occupied. There were also a lot of people in the beach.

Pros: Location is amazing! Right above Dukes. You are in the heart of it all. Good breakfast, wonderful staff, what a view! Thank you for the hospitality room I could freshen up in at 6 pm before my late night flight since I had to check out at Noon.
Cons: Rooms are quite outdated. The even could use more elevators. Sometimes a bit of a wait. I didnt find the refrigerator (under the bathroom sink in a cabinet) until I was checking out.

Pros: Breakfast was included. The selections were good and the coffee was great.
Cons: Beds were small (doubles). Queens would have been better.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Sweet and attentive staff all around and good sized rooms. Great feeling to stay right on Waikiki. A major plus is the restaurants Hula grill and Duke’s, great options for both breakfast and dinner.

With a stay at Jet Luxury @ The Trump Waikiki in Honolulu (Waikiki), you'll be a 2-minute walk from Waikiki Beach Walk and 7 minutes by foot from Royal Hawaiian Center. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-in.
7,7 Good
Pros: The building and the location
Cons: First of all, the bed had a sunken mattress that seemed to have been there forever. I have a disc herniation on both the neck and the back and the bed just killed me. I'm sure the previous guests had complained but a bit shocked that it wasn't replaced.....or maybe all the rooms had same sunken mattresses. For us, terrible mattress. Secondly, the pool was way too small.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: When we first pulled into the valet, I reached for my bag out of the back of the vehicle and was told, "Please let me get that. You shouldn't have to lift a finger here at the Trump." That sense of service and attention to detail defined every aspect of our stay. The facilities and service were top notch.

Pros: Location, staff, free events, shared pool at the Sheraton Waikiki for kids.
Cons: There's construction going on next door at the Sheraton Waikiki and a water main broke and we were told the hotel would lose pressure around 12-4am which was not a problem for us since we were sleeping. Overall, would stay here again!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff at breakfast. Relaxing ambience of the hotel. Location. Mai Tais
Cons: Significant litter and food waste found left around the pool area daily. As a returning guest, it would be pleasing if welcomed back.
7,0 Good
Pros: Very easy and quickly move to beach from this hotel
Cons: very noisy from next room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Obviously it was the location and historical significance of the hotel.
Cons: The grounds surrounding the hotel are exquisite. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
6,3 Good
Pros: It's a beautiful hotel inside and out. The bed and the pillows are very comfortable. The bar and beach staff are excellent. The location is perfect for waikiki.
Cons: We arrived st 1500 on 14th November and checked out at 10am 16th November. Spending nearly $900 for our time in the hotel. We couldn't access wifi in our room and so were changed into a different room after spending an hour on phone to a tech guy to try to sort. Eventually moved rooms at midnight having had to pack up all our belongings. As we had moved rooms, the next day our room wasnt cleaned until we asked housekeeping at 15.30. The room had not been on the list to clean. By that time our plans for the day had to be changed as a result, this made for a less than relaxing afternoon. HIDDEN COST - On check out, we were charged $80+ for 'resort amenities'. The staff member showed us a booklet we had never seen before, detailing what is including with this charge, this - high speed wifi throughout hotel. - one keepsake photos with complimentary portrait session - complimentary one day rental of GoPro - unlimited local, long distance , toll free and international calls - bottled water - fitness classes, resort cultural classes:lei making, yoga, huiwai-traditional hawaiian sunrise ceremony, hula lessons -complimnetary bag of signature baked goods from royal Hawaiian bakery -10% off retail gift box item royal Hawaiian bakery - sealife entrance buy one get one free - and more We had no booklet in either of the rooms in which we stayed , nor was this presented to us upon arrival/check in. We would have loved to go to cultural activities and so this had really disappointed us. When we brought this up with the manager at check out, I was disappointed at the response. He waived 1x$40 for the lack of wifi and apologised for the lack of room cleaning, but I feel this wasnt good enough, given that the only amenities we benefitted from were four bottles of water, wifi in the room on the second day (although not at the beach which is where we were all day) and 3x complimentary cookies.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location was great. Hotel staff was outstanding
Cons: Pool area was small
1,0 Poor
Cons: Based on our room I'm surprised this is a 5 star hotel. The room was barely big enough for bed and the bathroom was so small you couldn't even reach the toilet paper while sitting on the toilet. Horrible experience for the price we paid.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant and food in the hotel restaurant are excellent. Breakfast on the restaurant patio was wonderful and the wait staff were prompt and quick to adjust. ( I say that because one morning there was a false fire alarm and so many guests came to breakfast all at once, so the staff and the kitchen were slammed. They handled it without missing a beat.) It is pricey, but it's Hawaii and expensive to import anything so I can comprehend that part of the cost.
Cons: Not a thing. The RHH is still the most elegant hotel on Waikiki. She quietly displays her history and past prominent visitors with pride. Her staff is cordial, kind and gracious with all guests. Her cleanliness and comfort are top notch. I have been blessed to stay in some phenomenal hotels with my job, but she rates in my top 5 with all of her attributes and qualities.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Best location on Waikiki. View amazing. It's the Royal Hawaiian so you need to stay here once in your life. The public areas and gardens are beautiful and Mai Tai bar is one of my favourite places to go.
Cons: I have stayed at a few different places. I think for what you pay the rooms need a renovation. I stayed in the tower and there are stains on the walls and to room is looking tired. I paid extra for modern renovated room, and I didn't get one. The club breakfast was really bad. If I go back I'll try the traditional rooms as the tower isn't 5 star luxury.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: It was right on the beach.
Cons: The service was not very good, our room went uncleaned for serveral days, everything was beyond expensive, nothing was complimentary, our room was quite small and simple for a 5 star resort.
7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel is beautiful and staff were really friendly..
Cons: The room AC was not working. I called twice for someone to fix it and no one came. We had to get ready for an event and were sweating. My husband and I couldn't get comfortable and couldn't sleep.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The old Hawaii feel. I grew up in Honolulu in the mid 1950s.
Cons: The Mai Tai Bar is too modern now.

Pros: I booked a room without really paying attention to extras (view included). We got there and they had mai tais and beautiful flowers. Staff was super nice and fun. First room had crappy view so went back to check-in and got an upgraded room immediately. It was a bit more but worth every penny. The concierge service people are very nice, knowledgeable, efficient and adapt recommendations very well to your needs. The room was not over the top fantastic BUT the view was epic. Right on the beach. No obstructions. And that's where I wanted to be. At night you got reclining chairs on your little balcony. Loved it. And the location is perfect. ABC stores, Hertz, beach, restaurants, shops, beach (deserves a repeat).
Cons: The fact that in that hotel wing one can't use the stairs without triggering the alarm so you have to wait for the elevator.

Cons: Pillows too soft

Pros: The cool face towels and pineapple juice at checkin are a nice touch after a long flight. Victoria, was working at the front desk and couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Beach is a short walk from the hotel. Easy walking to many sights.
Cons: Old, noisy, window AC's.

Pros: The staff were friendly. Good location, and the room is clean. My family would come back to this hotel again. Aloha :)
Cons: I wish they have egg and bacon for breakfast.
7,0 Good
Pros: It was value for money for an overnight stay. Great location one street back from the main shopping street. If required to stay for longer period ensure you choose a larger room.
Cons: My room was very small, okay for an overnight. Did not like the walk along an open walkway on the 14th level to my room....I hugged the wall. If I was to be there more than 1 night I would have asked to change. It would be ok if you don't mind heights . Air con was noisy and bathroom is very small.

Pros: Continental breakfast was just ok. Not to brag about. I like the fresh fruits and 24/7 coffee and hot tea. I like the open area in the lobby that is perfect for our family to hang out. We enjoyed hanging out morning or late night. Hotel location was great. Not too crowded with tourists and yet it's easy walking distance to the International Marketplace mall for shopping and great food.
Cons: Room are really small probably due to the premium real estate. Wish they have fresh milk for coffee at least in the morning. The hotel did provide fresh milk one day and I think it was probably special for Sunday only.
7,0 Good
Pros: Attentive staff left a nice baby moon surprise in our room after mentioning it on check in. Such a nice gesture!
Cons: The Safe and hair dryer were broken. Hallways and soundproofing need upgrade.

Pros: Cleanliness, hospitality, warm welcome, friendly environment, everyone was good at their job. ,the decor was amazing, it was conveniently located near the beach/ mainstream

Pros: Excellent location to access the beach and pools. Family friendly atmosphere. Comfortable nights sleep in the king bed. Helpful staff helped us with directions to attractions.
Cons: Holding deposit of $250 still pending over a week after our stay. Would love that to be returned more efficiently.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Honestly there isnt anything that sticks out that I enjoyed.
Cons: My room got changed without me knowing, booked a king room and got double beds and I had no idea until I showed up to check in. I felt very uncomfortable there and with the wildly expensive rooms I'm extremely dissapointed in the service and the lack of things that should have been included in the stay there. I mean come on even a free drink or SOMETHING would have been nice. Spent almost 1000 bucks for two nights, wanted the end of our trip to be a nice relaxing few days at the hotel and some spa stuff and we had to leave because we hated being at that hotel. We were so excited to read online that theres a spa and jacuzzi. Couldn't use anything unless it was paid for and it was sooo overpriced too-go figure. We got a couple reflexology massages and 300 bucks later. The reflexology message is half a foot message, no pressure, and didnt go above the ankle. I asked the guy up front and he said it was a leg massage, we went on a crazy hike the day before so we were hoping to get some relief from that and there is no way that "massage" was worth 150 bucks! The jacuzzi and sauna is off limits unless you spend money and get something done at the spa, and it closes at 10, not even open for the guests to use at their leisure with a key card or something. And not to mention that when we were walking back into the hotel to go to our room, we got chased down by a security guard telling us we need to show him our room key. I'm guessing it's because we looked like we didnt belong, we are in our 20s and he probably assumed we couldn't afford to stay there so he felt we needed to be stopped. We walked to the elevator where he stood at the end of the hallway and watched us go in, probably to see what floor we were going to. I am so disappointed and now out so much money. I've only written one other bad review and that was a few years ago, I'm not one to usually do this but the experience was just awful I had to say something.

6,7 Good
Pros: Beautifully kept hotel with very close proximity to the beach. Check in was easy and the staff at both the valet who held our bags early and at the reception desk were just lovely. The pool area was very nice! Great cocktails - although the area gets incredibly windy which can be dangerous and not so enjoyable but nothing the hotel could do about that. Wifi is complimentary which was a nice surprise - we thought we’d have to pay. Also, there is a card which allows you to borrow movies from a machine downstairs, also a very nice surprise! Vouchers were given for free water bottles/soft drink daily from the store which was also lovely. I thought $39 a day for compulsory valet (no free self parking) was a tad steep and unnecessary but it is in keeping with Waikiki hotels. Thankfully there are numerous trolleys and buses from right outside the door, very convenient! They were also very helpful in organising a shuttle for us to Hanauma Bay, and giving info on getting to other monuments easily. The room is well equipped though surprisingly there is no microwave which would have been very welcome!
Cons: We had termites in our room on our fourth night! This only happened after getting our room serviced - it had not been a problem the first three nights. At 1am I felt something crawling up my leg in bed and found a termite! Upon closer inspection they were on the lamps and in the pillows. Previously I’d noticed bug wings all around the room but couldn’t figure out what they were from. Hilton’s response was less than adequate! It seems that due to it being that time of night/early morning, they thought we’d maybe be too tired and just accept any ridiculous offer for compensation? We paid specifically for a ocean view King room. Their first response was to move us out of the room into another room (not ocean view - this was fine for just that night by us) and offer us a succession of ridiculous attempts at compensation. a) 50,000 Hilton’s honours points (equivalent to one night free stay for the future, not even for this trip but for the future) and then b) a $200 food voucher for the restaurant downstairs! Why they would even think we would stay there again is beyond me. Also we’d already organised dinner reservations for our remaining 2 nights left on Waikiki so the food voucher really meant nothing! We didn’t push for a refund on more than anything but for that night as the price difference between an ocean view room and non ocean view is around $300. Finally we got that money credited to us upon check out but the whole process was ridiculous! They need to understand when they have messed up and when they need to just compensate with less fuss.

Cons: No microwave in rooms. You have a refrigerator you should have a microwave. Not a fan of paying for parking when I already pay for resort fees. A big RIP off

5,8 Okay

3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice breakfast and staff at the restaurant
Cons: Hotel is outdated and not the best location, way overpriced for what you get, pool on the rooftop is a terrible kiddie pool, you can get way better accommodation from hundreds of other hotels around
1,0 Poor
Pros: None
Cons: My reservation wasnt honored and I got stuck in a double room. The view was terrible of the city, the lighting was full and gloom. The bathroom and windows were barely clean. Cabinets that open the refrigerator are hanging on by 1 hinge. Not satisfied
