Good 7,0
Pros: We have ocean front view room, and the view is great.
Cons: The parking garage is very compact, and park spaces are limited. My suggestion is that the parking should offer for check in guests only not public. There are few days that we cannot find any parking, and we have to use valet parking. Another comment is dining. The 100 Sails ONLY offers buffet on weekend. The restaurant should provide other meal options so we have more choices.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location, view. Friendly staff.
Cons: Pool cabana prices overpriced considering less than half were being used.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The view is amazing
Cons: Resort fee is expense because we used the pool only 2 days and we paid for 7 days. Could be better if the hotel just charge for the day that is used .
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel was amazing - the room was very clean and modern. The view was beautiful (we got 26th floor which helped). The free parking and one free breakfast was very valuable (depends on your package). I loved that we had free beach towels that we could take awAy and return daily.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Staff accomadate late check out
Cons: Balcony
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Incredible technology in the room! The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The decor is nice and the amenity kit is great.
Cons: The room wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t spotless either. We had to request items that were supposed to be part of our welcome package. Our room was not serviced until late afternoon.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Very clean & comfortable
Cons: Expensive
Excellent 8,5
Our experience was exceptional. The service there is amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our every need. The food in the restaurants is very good and reasonable and we enjoyed breakfast and dinners there often. They offer specials on the menus too at earlier/ happy hour times and a truncated inexpensive breakfast menu, which was a nice surprise. The rooms were very beautiful with amazing views of the harbor. The bathroom layout was exceptional and very clean and modern. They even had bidets on the toilets which was a nice add. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning service top notch. Shopping is very accessible and the exquisite Ala Moana Mall was right across the street. I would definitely return there to the Prince Hotel and am thankful for the beautiful experience they provided for us.
Excellent 10,0
Recently stayed at the Prince Waikiki and it couldn't have been better. The water-facing rooms are generous in size and provide a terrific view of the marina and ocean beyond. Especially liked the sliding windows allowing for plenty of fresh ocean breezes as an alternative to the air conditioning. The location of the hotel is perfect for those who desire separation from the bustle of the immediate Waikiki beach hotel and shopping areas. Yet, it's an easy walk to all the action, if you choose. The beautiful lobby and relaxing vibes at the pool make for a great home base from which all of the Oahu activities can be accessed. The best aspect of this hotel, however, is the staff. Can't say enough about how consistently welcoming and friendly the hotel staff are from the front door to the back room. The attitudes of the staff never felt forced or contrived. It felt genuine and is a reflection of a well-managed team, in my opinion. I would certainly put this hotel on your short list of considerations for your next visit to Honolulu.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everyone on the staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and the view is amazing With the Renovation Discount it was about Half price maybe even less than half and absolutely an great value
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Whenever we asked for service, (maintenance, engineer, housekeeping), they came within 5 minutes.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The hotel was under renovation but the staff was so amazing. It totally made our stay. Will surely stay in the future.
Good 6,8
Pros: The hotel is nice. The views are pretty. The staff were courteous and helpful. It's clean. The location downtown is close to most everything.
Cons: It's not on the beach, which isn't a deal breaker, but I wasn't feeling the "Hawaiian vibe". It just wasn't there. Everything closes super early, even the hotel bar and it's all sub par, nothing too fabulous. I guess the word I could use that would fit this hotel is generic. It's not holiday inn generic, but it's definitely not worth the price, the parking fees, or the resort fee. I didn't feel like I really fit in too well either. If you're a tourist to Hawaii and you'll barely spend time at the hotel, this is the one if you're willing to pay the price. I also didn't feel like I fit in here. If you're coming from Japan though, you'll fit right in.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Close to everything in Waikiki but not in the midst of the resorts
Cons: Dirty stain/spot on floor in bathroom next to tub was there every day even after cleaning. All else was nice.
Okay 5,1
Pros: The spa is awesome.
Cons: We spent 2 nights here, it doesn't worth the money. The hotel in Wakiki is generally expensive, but if you want a 4 star experience, choose hotels like Sheraton or Westin. Need to pay extra for wifi, parking, even water after first night. The room is quite small for a 4 star standard.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Out of waikiki, room views
Excellent 8,2
Pros: It is a fantastic facility. I enjoyed my stay
Cons: Nothing I didn't like

Excellent 9,0
Pros: We were booked into thr 24th floor, the top one before the penthouse. What a beautiful view it was! Very impressed.
Cons: The foldout couch could have been more comfortable, but it was altogether fine.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel was the best part of my Hawaii Vacation tbh. Restaurants/gift shops/ stores in the hotel are convenient. 2 pools , You get towel cards per person i think. Real close to beach/Lagoon/Magic island . I was skeptical because some reviews say there was bad odors but that was false. 100% satisfied with my choice.
Cons: A/c was hot in my room but thats just nitpicking i loved my stay here. Valet was somewhat fast . 28$ a day or 1$ per hour if you can find a spot behind the hotel. No cleaning fee/laundry on every floor 2.50 per wash/dry. 1.25 for soap.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Located at the end of Waikiki by the marina, close to Ala Moana Shopping Center.
Cons: A bit dated, and $28 per day valet fee
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The Ilikai has been beautifully renovated. Our ocean view junior suite was perfect for us and spotlessly clean when we arrived. The location on the beach and the two swimming pools are fantastic. Walking distance to most everything.
Cons: Due to Covid there is currently no daily housekeeping service but clean towels, additional toiletries and trash pick up are available if you're staying 5 days or more.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: great view of ocean, very clean and functional room. Nice walk to everything in Waikiki
Poor 1,0
Cons: couldn’t leave the room
Good 7,0
Pros: Staff were nice and courteous. View from balcony. Convenience of shops on-site. Close proximity to beach.
Cons: Air conditioner dirty. Hair dryer not working. Phone unhooked and handset not charged for use. Carpet in rooms dirty. Not enough beach chairs available for guests but charged amenity fees. Parking should be free due to high cost of rooms. Trash not cleaned up around property left by uncaring guests and transients. Electrical outlets worn out not allowing phone chargers to stay in place.
Good 7,0
Pros: Close to the beach and shops
Cons: Room smelled, not ideal that house keeping only came every 7 days considering other hotels have been offering it daily
Excellent 10,0
What a awesome cutting edge condo. We remained here for 2 weeks . This is often a clean, roomy loft in a electrifying region. The inn is near to restaurants/bars/tourist attractions & Ala Moana Shopping Center. We were on the shoreline with a 5 diminutive walk and buses and trolleys take off from the front of the inn. The kitchen is well set up, the A/C worked well and the bed is expansive and comfortable. Get to is through a pass-code and clear informational were messaged to us. Completely NO complaints and profoundly prescribed.
Excellent 10,0
The hotel is a definitive oceanfront hotel. It is perfectly located on the Ala Wai Yacht Marina at the edge of Waikiki. It is just a short stroll to Ala Moana Shopping Center and 2 blocks to the Hawaii Convention Center. The hotel pathway from the lobby leads to the astonishing Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon and beach. One better thing about this hotel is that it has a convenience store. You can easily buy anything you need. I had an amazing dip to their heated swimming pool. It is very relaxing and soothing. For the record, I didn’t pay any miscellaneous charges. My room is very spacious with a large veranda. It is indeed a fabulous view while having my coffee at the Lanai. It is also being an Internationally-recognized as the famous opening shot of Hawaii Five-O with Jack Lord as Steve McGarrett standing on the penthouse balcony overlooking Waikiki Beach, the hotel is truly a Waikiki landmark. It is highly recommended.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: You can’t beat the view - this is our 7th or 8th stay at the ilikai Also great value The extra things like beach towels & beach chairs and having a kitchen is fabulous
Cons: Not as cheap as it used to be but still great value
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Good location, with big rooms and kitchen which was a big plus even for couples. The valet parking was very efficient as well. The trolley stops by outside which was really convenient.
Cons: The elevator was too old and slow, there was too much waiting to do.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Loves having a kitchenette ... very well stocked ..be sure to select the upgraded /newly remodeled rooms

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location wise excellent!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Spacious room/suite that was nicely decorated.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Near lots of food areas.
Cons: A little outdated.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Room size, comfort, and amenities. Very helpful, professional, and pleasant staff.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Hot tub and pool
Excellent 9,1
Pros: We met up with Collins, whom we have known for a decade. He always takes good care of us!!
Cons: The parking arrangements.
Mediocre 2,8
Pros: If you are meeting for business around the area it's ok.
Cons: Unclean surroundings including hallways, elevators and surrounding area. Lobby is not well lighted, escalators were not all working, front desk clerks are lukewarm and unfriendly, parking is confusing, unsafe hallways as there was a big electric fan that was running and some contrstruction equipment right In front of the room we stayed in that was there the entire day without any sign, warning or precaution. Carpets have that musty and spoiled smell. I
Good 6,2
Pros: Right in downtown area. Puts the traveler right into everyday Honolulu.Comfortable and clean with a "killer" view of Honolulu harbor.
Cons: Clearly an older, but well maintained property
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Perfect location for the St. Pattys block party in downtown Honolulu
Cons: Parking is $20 a night
Excellent 8,2
Pros: The room was spacious and very clean. It was quiet, which I s surprising, since it is downtown. Staff was polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Also got free parking!
Cons: The decor is a bit dated, and the building doesn't have balconies. It is on the expensive side. While it was a decent room, I wouldn't have paid the normal 214 a night rate.
Excellent 8,6
Pros: Comfortable, clean room with wifi, kitchenette, nice large tv and good cable. Very helpful staff, whirlpool tub, and I can't say enough about how well I slept on the bed it was more comfortable than my own. This hotel is close to som small restaurants mostly Asian and very good. The area around seems safe and I did not have any problems while out late for a walk but there are quite a few homeless around.
Cons: The Internet could be a bit faster, I had some streaming issues but no other problems or gripes.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Hilton Hawaiian village was very crowded, but grand Waikikian was relatively quiet. The rooms are very clean.
Cons: Crowded, seemed the village was overbooked.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We were on 25th Floor very nice view of waikiki, room was very nice. Had everything we needed.
Cons: nothing!
Excellent 8,5
Pros: At first was disappointed at not having an ocean view but ended up loving the "city" view - especially at night.
Cons: Too many children at every pool. They need an adult only pool or section of a pool. (And we were there during school - will be even worse when school is out).

Good 7,0
Pros: Shops are walking distance grocery store is close the rooms with kitchens are roomy staff respond quickly when calling on the phone for things. Beds feel like cotton
Cons: it’s an old building so elevators are a little slow tip use garage elevators if in a rush lol Shhhhh.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great view from balcony!
Cons: Room was small for 4 people. No maid service due to corona virus. No free parking and valet was expensive.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The view was beautiful. Good location.
Cons: No ice machines
Excellent 9,0
Pros: It was nice to stay at the iconic Ilikai until I settled until my new home. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Accommodations were great; loved having a kitchen. Bonus was the view from my lanai overlooking the Hilton lagoon and Kahanomoku beach.
Cons: It was as tourists returned to Waikiki - let the crazy times begin! Could have done without the yahoos yelling wahoo at night.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Rooms were comfortable and clean.. kitchen was very well furnished , the hotel is very close to the beach..overall good value for your money
Cons: There is no ice machine in the whole hotel.. we bought a bag of ice every morning to use.. it is cheap.. but I think the hotel could spare their guests of buying one , pretty sure they won't go broke if they won't sell a few extra bags of ice per day. The day we arrived there was a cherry (the fruit) on the floor on our way to our room.. the day we left (6 days later) the freaking cherry was still there at the very same spot.. despite of the hotel staff being there every morning to clean the common areas.. that makes me wonder if they miss a red cherry clearly displayed on the floor, how is the room cleaning process ? (picture) Our safebox stopped working and nobody showed up to fix it, despite 2 or 3 requests to do it.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: View, kitchen
Cons: None
Good 6,0
Pros: NEXT TO THE BEACH. GOOD VIEW FROM OUR ROOM OF THE OCEAN.
Cons: Room was outdated and had very few cooking supplies. No house keeping due to covid. Several nights people screaming/howling from balconies. Even though it is suppose to be a smoke free building, neighbor's frequently on balconies smoking cigarettes and Marijuana which led us to check our early and move to another hotel.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location was perfect because the Mall was next door. The staff was friendly and everything I needed was available at the hotel.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The Hotel was clean and comfortable, I felt your lobby staff/personnel could have been friendlier and more outgoing. I was never greeted by anyone in the lobby other than the front desk person who checked me in. There was a lack of warmth and aloha.
Cons: You parking situation needs an upgrade.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It’s very convenient and close to the mall and restaurants.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Easy check in, some of the best staff we’ve encountered. Didn’t realize how much we’d like having the mall so close but it was super convenient for last minute purchases. Even better was the wall to the beach.
Cons: Room size. Also wish they had more late night delivery options since they don’t have room service.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Connected to Ala Moana Center

Let me be clear: We are a family of four. We have traveled often before, stayed in everything from 5 star, to basically camping. We know what works and what does not. We have a child with Autism that requires PLANS to be put in place, plans that were booked well in advance of our arrival, but upon arrival - no one knew anything about them... except we had the email trails, notes and some other bits and pieces - either way, we still were delayed, t into a room no bigger than a big bed room, with no room for luggage, kids climbing over luggage just to get out of bed. And then my glorious view... of the unit block next door complete with full, uninterrupted views into peoples lives - in every interpretation you can nearly think of - but, if I sat in the far, far corner I could see a mountain. Lucky I paid extra for that. We were actually down-graded in the big 'we have no information about your family' story... from level 34, mountain views to overlooking a unit block... Ok, it happens - but not from Level 34 to 14?!. And let me further explain staff 'trying to help'. They 'try' - but in try, they have either been backed into a corner by someone else who did not do their job, or they were not doing their job - & it is a bit from each column. Checking the dates we stayed with options of us PAYING TO UPGRADE were never offered to us, despite there being suites available and us expressing concern about room size. We paid to not be camping - but family tents are bigger. Make sure to take a copy of every single document related to the place, including names, details, dates, times - everything because the staff will tell you dead-pan to your face that 'no, I don't think that happened or it would be written here' - apparently four emails from their own staff did not make it to the system, so I hope for anyone needing specialist requests are genuinely accommodated, because we were just shoved into a tiny room, no options, and told 'ENJOY, Mahalo!' Go elsewhere. Truly.

Pros: Starbucks in the building
Cons: Everything needs to be cleaned and updated. The rooms are way too small.
Excellent 10,0
excellent, close to shops , food out lets and bars
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Super early check in at 7am for an extra $16 includes breakfast - well worth it
Cons: Bigger bed but apart from that it was great - it’s not 5star hotel but it was a lovely stay

When booking a room for my spouse and me, I went through truly hours looking at diverse properties. I had never been to Hawaii sometime recently and it had been a few a long time since my spouse had been there so I had no thought where to remain. I knew we needed to be close Waikiki but didn't need to spend a fortune. I at last settled on the Ala Moana Lodging since it was inside strolling separate to Waikiki and had a shopping center right another entryway but was not excessively estimated. We were charmingly astounded when we need to our room and it had a microwave, coffee creator and refrigerator. It was moreover a pick-up and drop-off point for all the visits that we were planning to book, which was an included reward. The rooms were clean and well supplied with clothes and the housekeeper benefit was exhaustive when asked and since we were on the 6th floor, we rested with the sliding yard entryway open and indeed cleared out it open amid the day when we were gone with no stresses of break-ins. Would I remain here once more? You bet!
Good 6,0
Pros: Hotel is right next to Ala Moana mall making it so easy to do shopping and eating.
Cons: I ended up having to upgrade to a 2 beds room with an extra $49 per night. Kayak description is very misleading when it labels DOUBLE Mountain View when double means 2 people but not double beds! Bathroom is not acceptable as the water faucet is so outdated with only 1 turn knob to control hot/cold and water volume
Mediocre 2,0
Cons: Had to check out early because their AC broke. The woman I spoke with (shyla or something like that) was incredibly rude. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
Excellent 8,7
nice location. good to access Ala Moana center, target, near walmart & walgreens, Ala Moana beach. bellmen are kind. view is blocked by parking lot and front building..
Okay 4,8
Pros: The location was super close to everywhere I needed to go
Cons: They gave us a corner room 3rd floor which was so tiny couldn’t even turn a 360 in the hallway it was so narrow .. the sliding glass door won’t open more then 2 inches with no balcony .. why even have a sliding glass door if you have it locked like that? Said it was a queen and pull out couch but it was a pull out chair. No napkins or tissues only toilet paper. It also took a full hour to check in, dragging luggage on a line for an hour is insane for Hawai’i, this isn’t Vegas. There was 2 open computers if you get this busy at 4-5pm for check in you should be prepared and have a full staff.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, next to the mall, and an easy drive to town or the freeway to the countryside.
Cons: Daily parking charges! I feel like hotels that charge for parking are like airlines that charge you for food—crazy!
Good 6,2
Pros: The room was nice, needs better lighting.
Cons: Room was to dark, needs brighter lighting. The rooms need updating, it's showing it's age.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Adjacent to the Ala Moana Mall and dining places. Short walking distance to the Hawaii Convention Center. Starbucks and reasonably price convenient store in the facility. Micro wave and refrigerator availability in the unit.
Cons: Noise from the heavy machinery at the construction site just outside the window/patio door is constant in the day time. Computer use and printing is too costly for guest.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very close to Ala Moana shopping center and very clean rooms
Cons: Rooms were kind of small when you look at it. Its perfect for 1 person but probably not for 2 people
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great staff. Great location.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Clean modern hotel
Cons: It's a ways from Waikiki beach
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very convenient to Ala Moana Shopping Center
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Convenient location. Good service. Reasonable price. Jean, Kate and Cathy are the wonderful people who work there and make my stay a very nice experience!
Good 6,0
Cons: Tiny tiny tiny rooms. Not even a desk chair.
Good 7,7
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Like that there was a Starbucks located inside the hotel.
Cons: Had a disco there, which is fine for singles, but not too friendly with family with young children. The patrons were a little loud and there was a large crowd outside trying to get in.
Good 7,4
Pros: Great location if you want to be walking distance from the Ala Moana Shopping Mall
Cons: Woke up early to machinery noise, this may have be temporary
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: The staff, the price also we waited in line to check in for over an hour.
Good 6,0
Pros: Near beach and mall
Cons: owned by private owner, but not revealed until check in. bathtub drain clogged while taking a shower - standing in 2/3 inches of water, could not shut water off completely after taking a shower; wall lamp was broken, hanging to the left, did not turn on; clock/radio could not be reset; after hours, so no maintenance available until the next day. deceptive practice booking a room at Ala Moana hotel and finding out at check in it was privately owned. It would not have mattered if the room had been checked to ensure it was ready for occupancy. the room was booked four months in advance, so very disappointing.

Pros: It's located in a good area very close to the shopping centers and the Waikiki beach.
Cons: It's overpriced especially when they don't offer cleaning services and breakfast.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location, friendly customer service
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The location was excellent and the rooms were clean
Cons: The Bathroom had a wooden side opening which was annoying
Good 7,0
Pros: Pretty room layout w affordable price
Cons: No blankets or comforters. Just two bedsheets to cover with
Okay 4,0
Pros: The pool and Cassandra was amazing.
Cons: 1) Please update your rooms, everything is falling apart. 2) The $40.00 per day resort fee is excessive when you don’t offer room service for an entire 7 day stay not feature and dining options at night. 3) Offering a “free gift” which is basically your way to convince people to buy a time share is unnecessary. 4) Please train Courtney to be more friendly and how to treat customers. Without customers she would have no job.

Pros: Comfortable bed, great location- close to shops, beach, marina and restaurants

Cherished this lodging. Smart, new. Our room was on the 11th floor and in spite of the removed activity and a few clamor from encompassing inns at night, it was exceptionally calm and kept exceptionally clean & clean. Awesome area – simple sufficient to walk to Ala Moana shopping center and within the other heading, to Waikiki shopping area. There’s an ABC store over the street (askew) from the inn. Most visits choose up and drop off around the corner. A highlight was the Friday night firecrackers – we had a table at the eatery with a awesome see. Supper & cocktails truly included to it. Staff was inviting and proficient. As it were one issue – we are tea consumers and had to ask a hot water container (which we did earlier to checking in) and ceramic mugs for our room. And whereas coffee consumers are catered for in room we had to buy our possess tea packs and new drain.

It is well known that there are many Japanese people coming to Hawaii, but the hotel is very recommended for those who want to taste the sense of overseas. There were more Westerners in Europe and the staff were also able to speak Japanese, but when I stayed there was only one person. The atmosphere is the best anyway, including the rooms, the pool and the bar! Although it is slightly away from the center of Waikiki, the trolley station is also very close to the hotel, and the first departure of Zabas can also be used from the Ala Moana Shopping Center, so the transportation is also fulfilling.
Excellent 8,8
Cons: I will never book through Kayak again. I accidentally booked my hotel for one night too long. I didn’t realize this until checking in. Even though the hotel said they would not charge for the extra night because I clearly wasn’t staying there, Kayak refused to work with the partner to refund me. This was an incredibly frustrating customer service experience.

The Modern Honolulu is the center of modern culture and originality. It’s in perfect location which stands at the epicenter between the world well-known Hawaiian experiences of Waikiki Beach. This hotel is as refined as it is very calming. This is one of the best boutique hotel in Hawaii. The design in the lobby has a concept of an urban chic beach aesthetic. It is very lovely. The hotel staffs are very empowering. They deliver professional service and assist you excellently. I feel very royal at their Spa. You will experience a perfect massage with the purest treatment. A breathtaking view of the Ocean at day time from the pool side and dine in with a perfect varied food with Asian flavors and South American tastes creating a true Pacific Rim experience. This hotel is highly recommended.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: I liked that the hotel was located near the harbor. A short 1 mile walk form downtown Waikiki and not too crowded with many surrounding hotels. Definitely an adult resort, although I did see a few kids. Staff was super friendly, views of the marina and ocean were great. Access to the beach just a short walk although from beaches on O'ahu this was the worst strip of ocean I visited. I'd suggest staying here and enjoying the beach elsewhere. Liked the details of the ukulele, sea shells and sarongs as décor. Room was ready early. Room was quiet and simply decorated with all white giving a feel of space. Clothes line in the shower for wet swimsuits was a plus!
Cons: The hallways were VERY dark and room numbers a bit tricky to see. Valet parking only at $35/day.
Okay 4,0
Pros: The view was beautiful, valet staff were great.
Cons: Resort fee not presented at check in, expensive parking. Staff very unaccomodating for early check in. Asked us to call multiple times throughout the week, up to the actual 3pm check in time which we were asked to wait for our room anyways, while others in line after us were getting their room keys. A double room was booked via Kayak but wasn't available at check in so we were given an "upgraded" suite with a sofa bed. The mattress pad was stained with urine and the linens were not the cleanest. The furniture is all white so stains were noticeable on the pillows. Felt very dirty. Very disappointed in the service of this hotel under their new mainland management.
Okay 4,8
Pros: The location was great
Cons: This property was aquired by diamond resorts and is the next step in scamming a new demographic. https://www.thestreet.com/story/13624491/1/is-apollo-returning-to-its-junk-roots-with-its-acquisition-of-diamond-resorts.html

I simply adored this hotel, the location is perfect if you like walking (I love walking around and went to the city center it takes like 30 mins walk along a beautiful view next to the ocean). The interior design of this hotel is exquisite! It is not extravagant or trying too hard to be 'fancy' it is simple, modern and truly beautiful, neat, clean and embracing looks, from the rooms to the terraces and lobby areas everything is designed and you can see it. The stay was awesome I almost wanted to stay in honolulu for my whole vacations just to enjoy that hotel for longer. I got a package with breakfast included and it was an amazing breakfast every morning. But the best part was the night bar in the lobby, it is cute and everything beautifully designed but the most amazing surprise is the musicians they have playing live music at night they are so talented you won't believe they are real. It is really amazing to be able to enjoy such a moment with amazing live music before heading to our room to rest. I want to stay at this hotel forever!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: From the incredible concierge and front desk staff to the warm service and incredible food poolside to the ultra-luxury modern (but not in a cheesy, cheap way) rooms that were comfortable and expertly furnished they did not miss a spot. I would recommend it as the #1 hotel in Honolulu hands down
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Staff helpful though it did take half hour to find the reservation. Clean and extra nice room. Primo location
Cons: Very pricey even for Waikiki. Extra loud bar area
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The Modern is off the beaten trail and appreciated how relaxing the atmosphere was. The pool area is beautiful and calm, and if you need to relax further the sunset pool is just the ticket. All restaurants and bars are excellent in the Modern too.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff was excellent
Cons: Beds could have been more comfortable
Good 7,1
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Study bar is nice with good cocktails, rooms are nice and housekeeping is good. Difficult to find space at pools and they don't have chairs on the beach. During peak times like Christmas / NY it makes it tough to secure space. Service at the restaurant by the pool was very slow. Painfully slow... I would return but challenged to stay there again @ $500/ night unless everything is perfect.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Love it. Honolulu is known for old resorts and hotels. Modern's building isnt really new, however, all the internals have been renovated so that it feels "modern". Great stay for young hip couples.
Cons: Parking is a little expensive. $35 and they charge you everything you get your car in and out. Other than that, we had an awesome experience.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I love everything about The Modern Really cool friendly atmosphere, all the staff are super nice. The room is very clean, modern, crisp, has pretty of room. Our partial view room had a nice balcony and as suggest had views to the left of the water. Great TV and selection of channels, coffee maker. Very well sound proofed Bathroom is large, great shower. Room service is fantastic, actually its the same menu available in the pool area, perfectly prepared and very high quality. The pool areas and bars are amazing The is away from the Main part of Waikiki, overlooking the marina, making it less busy and more relaxing Do yourself a favour and book in
Cons: Not sure, maybe the bed is a little firm. Just being picky

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room
Cons: Nothing everything was good.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: My wife had a surgery at Moanalua Kaiser. We chose to stay here as it is close to the airport and seemed safe and comfortable. Housekeeping/Guest Services accommodated us by providing extra pillows and a blanket to make sure my wife was comfortable. Having shuttle service to the airport was a plus as we didn't rent a car given the nature of our trip. I appreciate their Aloha!
Cons: Everything was fine. I have no complaints.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Customer Service
Cons: Pool was closed. Dogs barking during the night.
Okay 5,0
Pros: The hotel was close to the airport by taxi or shuttle but somewhat difficult with any amount of luggage. Desk staff was helpful, friendly and efficient regarding helping us to pass the hotel’s special COVID related entry requirements (more severe than Hawaii Safe Travel requirements). The room was clean and comfortable and everything functional; strong WiFi. Free shuttle to the Honolulu airport every hour on the hour.
Cons: We did not see the hotel’s “free shuttle” at their pickup spot on our 9:30 pm arrival from Kauai to Honolulu Airport. So we took a taxi (under $10) for about one circuitous mile to the hotel. We arrived at the reception desk and were informed that the hotel had its own COVID policy more severe than any other Hawaii hotels’ policies that we experienced. We had to go thru exactly the same “Hawaii Safe Travels” procedure as we had to undergo boarding our flight from Houston to Hawaii. If we were not able to do this to the Airport Hotel Staff’s satisfaction, we would be required to quarantine in our hotel room until departure to Honolulu Airport the next day. We had a 2:00 pm departure to the mainland USA the next day and wanted to have a light dinner somewhere after hotel check in, breakfast the next morning and to use the hotel swimming pool until hotel checkout time and then the free shuttle to our departure terminal. Some of that would be either Impossible or awkward if they quarantined us. I was able to retrieve my earlier “Hawaii Safe Travel” electronic documents, but my wife could not retrieve hers via cell phone. Fortunately the very patient desk clerk worked with us on the hotel computer for 30 minutes and enabled my wife to complete the requirements, so no quarantine. Since there were no evening food services in the hotel, we walked thru a seedy area to MacDonalds for some burgers and fries to go. The next morning, we had leftover trail mix and room coffee for breakfast and then checked out. We had just missed the hourly shuttle, so we had to wait 47 minutes for the 11:00 am shuttle. We both needed to visit the restrooms, but the lobby restrooms were off limits due to hotelCovid policy. We managed til we got to the airport, and then got on our flight home with no further scrutiny by airport or airline. There was no prior indication Honolulu Airport hotel would institute its own COVID policy regarding travelers. Expensive for minimal services.
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: close to the airport
Cons: stinky carpet, noisy next to the highway
Okay 5,1
Pros: Shuttle service was friendly and efficient, rooms were in reasonably good condition and looked clean
Cons: Late in the evening we noticed MULTIPLE small cockroaches emerging from under the bed, leading to a sleepless night. Reception did not appear surprised at all when this was reported the next morning.
Okay 5,1
Cons: $30 Parking charge is excessive. Rooms are dated and overpriced. Major battle with a guest at the front desk with police called to evict him. He was out of line but still a really uncomfortable situation.
Excellent 10,0
Cons: Parking too expensive!!!!!!
Excellent 8,2
Cons: Close to airport, free shuttle
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Great place to stay when you need to catch a flight out of the Honolulu airport - very close with a 24x7 shuttle service.
Good 7,7
Pros: Convenient to airport, free shuttle, friendly staff, clean rooms
Cons: Few food choices in area, traffic noise
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Fast easy check in. Clean room. I stay here a few times each year. Its convenient. Never used any of the amenities besides the bed.
Cons: Parking should be free with room but it's not
Good 6,2
Pros: I was only there overnight and at that it was a short night. In general the accommodations were adequate although there was a long walk to the room and some inconvenience since it was in a separate building.
Cons: Check in seemed very slow.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was very clean and close to air port and close to Pearl Harbor we were at the end of our vacation and only had one day before catching our plane so it was very convenient. Everything about the room and lobby was nice.
Cons: We arrived at 2:30 just off a flight and the restaurant was closed. And in the evenings it was only open certain days so you had to go a block down the street for dinner. Both places were closed for lunch.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Having stayed at three Honolulu Airport hotels for business purposes, this is clearly the best choice. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The restaurant is open daily. The gift shop is well stocked and large. Transportation to and from the airport is excellent.
Cons: I found little to dislike about my stay.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Clean room and beds
Cons: Airport Shuttle took over an hour to pick us up from airport. Hotel is old and walk to the rooms is very long.

Pros: Location- great. close to airport. Shuttle closes at 9.30pm, we got in at the airport after 10pm so had to hail a cab, cabs are a rip off in Hawaii beware. Next to hotel is Macdonalds-convenient, and a convenience store. good for one night stay if you are transiting.. breakfast was cold muffins, orange juice, coffee.
Good 6,0
Cons: The bathroom floor had standing water on it.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location!!!
Good 7,0
Pros: The on-site parking was easy to use and very convenient. The room was clean and the staff member who helped us was very helpful and friendly. We used this hotel as our first night of a week+ getaway in order to just crash somewhere after a long flight. It fulfilled that role wonderfully.
Cons: None of these things bothered me, but they could bother someone else: Very close to the highway. If you’re sensitive to road noise, stay away. The air conditioner is moderately loud. The finishes and decor are outdated, but that seems to be true for the entire airport area. That didn’t detract at all from our stay, however.
Poor 1,0
Pros: It's close to pearl harbor.
Cons: The hotel is about 100 feet from a major highway. I could not hear the staff a check in because of the noise. It was not any better in the room. On the 7th floor you can still hear all the cars on the highway. There is also a 30.00 a day charge for parking.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location for airport access. Also eating places were within walking distance (McDonald’s, IHOP, as well as Hawaiian food spots like Christina’s Diner @ Joe’s Grille.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I like everything that was handed to is
Good 7,4
Pros: Most things were decent.
Cons: The hotel is only 1 mile from the airport. That's why we picked it. So we could sleep and get on our next airplane the next morning with as little hassle as possible. After I called the hotel it took well over 30 minutes for the shuttle to show up. That is a long time after a long flight while standing in the heat with small children on a median between 2 roads. Another couple was waiting for our same shuttle and they said they were there over an hour. Morning shuttle was great but the pick up from the airport was way too slow considering its only a mile. For the price we paid it would have been nice to get a free breakfast. It's an airport hotel. That should be standard in my mind.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was very freindly and helpful. The shuttle driver drove us to and from the airport and was helpful and friendly. We stayed for only a day on vacation. The next day we were traveling to another island. We didn't want to take our luggage site seeing so they held onto our luggage for no charge. I will definitely be staying there again.
Good 6,0
Pros: No problem with the front desk staff. That's about it
Cons: The heater and bathroom fan didn't work and they never came to fix it after saying they would. The bathroom tub was rusty.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Free airport shuttle
Cons: Rude staff. Not worth the money. Loud traffic. Really ugly area.

Cons: Ac was bad

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Quiet and comfortable place to stay.
Cons: Little outdated.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: This is not a fancy hotel but I liked having a small refrigerator in the room, the room was clean, and the restaurant was nice. The restaurant staff were excellent - they were friendly, fast, kind and made us feel very welcome. The koi fish were amazing, and from what I was told, they are taken care of very well.
Cons: Dont' know. It just isn't a fancy high end hotel, but that's okay. Nothing they can do about that.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Didn’t have
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Loved my stay
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Everything
Cons: ITS A NICE COMFORTABLE PLACE. Just old.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: All You Can Eat Breakfast buffet for $9.95 is cheaper than ordering ala carte even at any nearby eateries. i love fried rice for brekky. Way Cheaper than Alamoana Hotel that is connected to Alamoana Center, Pagoda is only three blocks to Alamoana Center, but half a block to Walmart, Sam’s Club and Don Quixote. We chose Pagoda because it is near shopping, eateries and $2.50 The Bus all across island.
Cons: For the very cheap price, you adjust your comfort for the steal of a deal. Nothing you could have done better except lower price even more.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Friendly Staff, Clean Room.
Cons: pool closed, dvd machine broken, had to wear earplugs because of noisy A/C unit. Parking is confusing and hard.
Good 6,5
This hotel is on the verge of “sketch,” but it perfect for stopping in for the night. I stayed here for my honeymoon for a week. There is a nice restaurant attached to the hotel that float on water. You have to make reservations ahead of time to attend. The television is very small. Their bathrooms really need to be updated. It would be nice if there was some kind of food offered for breakfast.
Good 7,7
Pros: OK. This is for the traveler/family on a budget. We had to unexpectedly stay in Honolulu for an extra day and we were able to get a room for about $130/night. They gave out fish food to feed the Koi. The kids and adults liked that. Small store in the lobby that sold water that didn't cost an arm and a leg. They had a kiosk where you could check out movies (for free). Had to use the card key to operate the elevator. I liked that extra measure of security.
Cons: The door was incredibly heavy. If my daughter was in the room alone and a fire broke out, she would have been toast. The bathtub was in terrible shape. Not in the greatest area, but we never felt scared. Not very much on site parking for free, but a parking structure across the street. The rooms and decor are from the 70's. This is not a 5 star hotel, but very acceptable. If you want to be in downtown Honolulu and are a budget-this is a very reasonable option.
Good 6,2
Pros: great location, friendly customer service, ample parking (for $10), wifi included in room, free movie during stay, two refrigerators, great water pressure, beds were comfy- not super hard, but not stiff, there's hot water! :)
Cons: the air conditioner leaked in the room, the stove was great- 2 coil burners, but there was not that much room to put a dish dryer/strainer, the shower head is out of the wall and rusty, the drain in the shower took a long time to drain water.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: the room was ok.
Cons: difficulty checking in. Mom paid for room using her credit card, and hotel staff insisted that I give them the card, which I did not have on me. Very frustrating. We were about to leave, when the manager relented. Totally unnecessary. Ruined our evening.
Excellent 8,6
Pros: The staff were very friendly. Loved its location, everything was walking distance. And that the room had a lot of conveniences like the coffee maker, toaster, microwave and fridge.
Cons: That the Wifi wasn't free. Would have been nice if it was included with the room.
Okay 4,0
Pros: It was a cheap place to sleep for the night.
Cons: That place needs to be renovated.
Mediocre 3,0
Cons: When I arrived there, the front told me the hotel records did not show my data and kept me waiting for mre than an hour. It is badically local only hotel and tourist shall avoid it.
Good 6,0
Pros: Beautiful restaurant and Koi Pond.
Cons: The room was old looking (not modern at all).

Good 7,0
Cons: Súper Noisy and not able to rest or sleep due to traffic noise outside!
Good 7,0
Pros: What I like the most about Acua Palms is the friendly staffs. They are welcoming. I left an item in the room and they friendly mailed it to me later.
Cons: Our room was clean when we arrived there, but due to Covid we didn't received daily cleaning service while other hotels start doing that. The elevators and lobby weren't clean too. That part was a little annoying. In total, I had a good experience there.
Good 6,0
Pros: I had a little view mom the beach from the balcony.
Cons: Parking structure damaged my truck I rented.
Good 7,0
Pros: Location
Cons: Covid policies, room was warm, terrible elevators. Had 3 of them and 2 worked and they were very, very, very slow. Use the steps, faster
Excellent 8,0
Pros: balcony on top floor has very nice view. i stayed in PH room 1203, very comfortable beds, room is very spacious.
Cons: elevators are slow but working properly
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great room, very clean and great location. Staff were very nice.
Cons: Elevators took so long.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Great Location, One of the cheapest rates I could find. Staff was friendly and there were plenty of amenities. I was there 2 weeks and it was a great experience. Large bed, decent balcony view, nice desk. Minutes walk from an ABC Market, the beach, and various restaurants.
Cons: My room had a significant slanted construction. I didn't notice at first, but the chair would constantly rotate to the side. I put a can down on the floor and it would start rolling towards the middle of the room. Sitting there working, gravity would constantly rotate me one way or the other. Elevator was very slow as well.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Good Bed
Excellent 8,4
It's ini great location across Hilton Hawaiian village hotel, n close to the beach, the price just right.
Good 7,2
Like - location, transportation, friendliness of staff Dislike - a bit old and out dated, the extra $18 per night on top of the room rate, am happy to pay that but please include this in the room rate if it is compulsory.
Good 7,1
Cons: The power cut out on us. We didn't have power for the last night of our stay. Since the power was out we didn't have hot water either. The hotel is planning to issue a refund for the last night.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Friendly front desk, better rate than surrounding hotels, clean and easy. stayed for one night, barely spent time at the hotel proper, but room got really dark and we were able to sleep in till 11am after a late night, no problem. Pool looked small but nice, never got to use it.
Cons: Bellman was slightly odd helping me with my bags to the car (it was waiting just beyond the boundary of the hotel) but he still did it! Couldn't tell if he was joking or not (afraid not). Front desk said it would be no problem, though, so that was another plus on the service.
Good 7,1
Pros: The friendly staff and very helpful.
Cons: Parking fee is way too high. The parking entrance way is steep. It was kind of scare because my rental car almost did make it up all the way. It would be nice if it's a little lower.
Okay 5,4
Pros: location is nice
Cons: additional fees was not readily include in pricing, so the cost advertised is not cost charged.
Okay 4,5
Pros: The location was good and the hotel was nice overall. Despite it's size, the room was pretty nicely laid out.
Cons: The room was very small. The A/C had failed. I knew something was up because the check in process was painful and there were lots of other upset customers. What really made me angry was the way the clerk checked us in completely without mentioning the problem. After she handed us our keys she casually mentioned that there wasn't any AC and it would not be fixed anytime soon. There was no offer to compensate for this. Later we approached another clerk with a complaint and were were told that they were attempting to place customers at other Aqua properties. It seemed that they only did this if you were very persistent. At that point we ended up stuck with the room because they never followed up on our request. The thing that really upset me the most was indifferent nasty attitude displayed by the first clerk. I might have had a different experience on a another day, but this time turned me off completely. There a lot of other fine places to stay in this price range. I won't risk coming back to this chain.
Excellent 9,4
Cons: Charged for 40 dollars of amenities we didn't use ie tv wifi etc
Okay 4,3
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Outdated, few amenities, drab
Excellent 8,3
Pros: If not looking to be on the beach - this is a great location.
Cons: Furnishings are dated - definitely can use an update!

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Nice wash room.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Close to airport with free shuttle.
Cons: Located in industrial area. Didn’t seem the best place to be out at night. Our suite could have used a small table and chairs rather than having to sit on sofa bed to eat or relax. Switch to turn off the overhead fluorescent light also turned off ceiling fan so no fan at night while light was off.
Good 7,0
Pros: Convenient location with easy access and 24 hour shuttle from the airport.
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: Not much
Cons: The bed was so uncomfortable no microwave
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very nice and clean.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Truly nothing fancy, but the staff was so kind and accommodating. It’s right next to the airport located in an industrial area, but it beats the prices of downtown. Worth the stay if you’re on a budget.
Cons: Update the rooms would be nice.
Mediocre 3,4
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The hotel was in terrible shape. Paint peeling off the walls in the room. Exterior need cleaning and painting. The iron railing on the balcony around the building was heavily rusted and need repairing and painting
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Great location near airport, nice pool and fire pit. They did ask for money at check in for amenities.
Okay 5,4
Pros: The ac unit worked :)
Cons: Parking was small n the towels were taken n not replaced
Good 6,5
Cons: Older, needs update
Good 6,0
Pros: Near the airport. We arrived at 1:00am. Got right in. Desk agent not overly friendly, but competent. I thought breakfast was included, but it wasn't.
Cons: Restaurant closed. Tiny room. Queen sized beds only. Hotel is quite old.
Good 6,5
Pros: Great location for overnight at the airport with a regular shuttle service
Cons: Very basic, limited services
Mediocre 3,1
Cons: Room was small and needs refurbishing. Parking lot was immediately outside the room door, so lots of people and car noise. A poolside room would have been better.
Okay 4,0
Pros: Close to the Airport and Clean
Cons: Look dated, everything looks really old.
Okay 4,8
Pros: Nearby Lagoon Chinese restaurant was really good. Hawaiian Coffee Co. cafe only a short walk from hotel had the best coffee around. Distance to airport was great.
Cons: While this hotel is priced less than most everything else in the area, the cost is still WAY above its actual value. Rooms were mediocre, bed not particularly comfortable, and Wifi NEVER worked.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room too small
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Tiny room with paper thin walls. Disgusting smell, location in "condemned warehouse" section of Honolulu. Sink clogged from the start, sheets stained, hair in shower, etc...
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Great attentive staff, classic older motel with courtyard pool. Not a destination hotel; but perfect for airport layover. Free shuttle to airport on the half hour; 24 hrs a day.
Cons: Industrial neighborhood.
Good 7,4
Pros: We needed a hotel for an early morning flight. They offer free shuttle service so that's convenient. I would recommend it for your quick stays near the airport.
Cons: Dated, small rooms
Excellent 8,8
Pros: great shuttle to airport restaurant economical with large portions staff efficient and friendly economical
Good 6,5
Pros: If you get in late and are leaving early for other islands next morning this place works. Pretty bare bones in a kind of light industrial area.
Cons: Staff were great really. Bar near lobby was quite noisy, we were put in a room as far from the bar as possible. Noise was not a problem, thanks guys.
Good 7,7
Pros: We were looking for a hotel close to the airport since we arrived in at midnight. The check in office is open 24 hours, which was very nice. The hotel was basically supposed to be a crash pad for us and that's essentially what this hotel was set up to be. It had basic amenities, wasn't super spacious, but it had a mini fridge and a bed.
Cons: The walls were paper thin do you could literally hear everything in the other rooms, who in made sleeping difficult when other guests started waking up. The room was pretty small.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Airport shuttle was convenient, otherwise average and did the job for one night
Good 6,8
Pros: Close to HNL
Cons: Ok for my purposes
Okay 4,5
Pros: Closer to airport.
Cons: Pricy for a room, nothing on walking distance
Good 6,2
Pros: The location was good if you need a quick place to stay during a layover and close enough to see Pearl Harbor. Great pressure for the shower.
Cons: The wifi was terribly slow. Just an ok bed with no extra pillows and blankets. It's close to the airport, so be prepared for airport noise.
Okay 5,4
Pros: Staff were so nice and friendly
Cons: Felt unsafe
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Rooms are small but clean and staff friendly. Restaurant and bar are on property. Best feature close to airport and reliable shuttle service. I'll stay there again
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It was exactly what I needed - close to airport, 24hr front desk and an airport shuttle. It's no 5 star hotel but you don't pay for that either - it was the cheapest hotel by far and great value for money in terms of an airport hotel staying only one night. The pool was really nice and a nice area to sit and relax. Tea and coffee provided while waiting for the shuttle in the morning was great. Staff were nice
Cons: I Used their contact us form to let them know in advance of my flight details and ask about the shuttle and they never responded. So I didn't realise you need to call them (from the free airport phone) for pick up which meant I had to wait until I realised this. Not a big deal tho but
Okay 4,5
Pros: The goods: Proximity to HNL, shuttle service, price, cold AC and fans in the rooms. It's fine for what it is - a cheap airport motel (but we recommend the Airport Honolulu Hotel instead, much nicer for a few bucks more).
Cons: Didn't like: bathroom tile was gross - felt like I needed shower shoes, no elevator for second floor room, shuttle was slow, old furniture, not all outlets in the room worked.
Good 6,0
Pros: Closeness to the airport and staff very friendly
Cons: Small beds, rooms need updating, need bathrooms for pool users
Good 7,7
Pros: Shuttle service. Clean. Staff.
Cons: Pretty old.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Not there long enough, only there for 7 hours.

Poor 1,0
Cons: This place is so dirty. This place doesn’t look like it had been cleaned or disinfected for the customers health and safety, especially during Covid-19. I felt very disrespected while staying here. I was here for three nights training for work and I was barely in the room. When I checked in the first day it was late and dark so I couldn’t see any thing. I noticed that the bathroom wasn’t clean or it doesn’t seem like they cleaned it recently. I took a shower and found out that the towel had a horrific smell. Everything in the room was covered in dust, nothing was plugged in (lamps,tv etc.), there were stains and spilled liquids all over the place. I found out the second day after my training and reached out to the hotel and was told they couldn’t help. They gave me a number to call so I called my third day after training and they weren’t operating any more. So I had to wait to call around 9-10 early in the morning. When I got a hold of someone I was very rudely spoken to and was told there wasn’t anything that could be done.
Okay 5,0
Pros: The best thing about this unit was its location. It is conveniently close to restaurants, shopping, beach and busline. The area is okay for walking but with a walkable beach nearby, there is an alternative available. The hotel itself offers a range of shops and restaurants as well as a very comfortable lobby area.
Cons: This unit is in need of repairs for its rather dated furniture. Two of the six drawers of the dresser were broken and unusable. The towel racks in the bathroom are coming off of the walls, and one of 2 bedside lamps was missing the knob to turn it on. Aside from the repairs needed, the loveseat had several stains that were not pleasant to see.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location was excellent, it would be nice if I had more of the beach view
Cons: Pay extra for room clean-up during my stay. I feel this should be included in the total fee I paid upfront.
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: Super close to the Ala Moana beach and Ala Moana shopping center! The staff from LSI was super friendly and helpful to all of our needs! It's in the center of the city that super easy access to the rest of Honolulu.
Cons: The sliding door was broken (unable to lock), the sofa bed was much smaller than we were anticipated...definitely can not fit 4 people...3 people is max! Not enough towels, coffee, bed sheet when we first moved in. The sofa / sofa bed was dirty at the beginning and we need to called LSI for cleaning.
Good 7,0
Pros: I stay in Honolulu 1 week/month and have spent most of it at the Ala Moana. The location is perfect for me because it's about a mile from work. It is quiet at night, clean and staff are very helpful.
Cons: 1. Mandatory 'resort fee' for services I am unable to use. 2. Increasing room rates - inevitable, but still unpleasant, especially for Kama'aina.
Okay 5,0
Pros: It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and right next to the shopping center. Where there is restaurants and stores at easy access. Parking was $30 a night where others was $80. Overall the hotel itself was nice. If I were to stay at this hotel again, I would probably book with the hotel.
Cons: With booking with booking.com its a private managed suit, so it extra for cleaning. Luckily the staff was nice to give us extra trash bags and pick up our trash. However whoever is in charge of flipping the room after the room is used did a poor job. There was a broken lap. Some weird dark stuff in the corner and the sheets were not properly cleaned. I had to wash them just in case in the hotel washer. We also requested for a king bed and got two full beds. Which worked in our favor and out room was a t tad bigger.
Good 7,0
Pros: The hotel is in a primal area. It's in Waikiki which is the downtown area. It's right next to the mall, which is huge. The food court is amazing and so many varieties of food. The hotel has a very nice pool that you can sit and enjoy the sun in. There gym was also nice. I did have a room with an ocean view as stated when I first booked, so that was cool.
Cons: Since I booked the hotel through this app, there was no breakfast included, couldn't check in until 4 pm, and had to pay for parking as well because I booked the hotel through this site. I had requested 2 separate beds and instead it was a full size bed for 2 people. I called the hotel to request an airport shuttle and they don't have one according to the lady at the front desk I spoke too.
Good 7,0
Pros: The room was very much like a regular hotel room with two beds. The decor was dated but nice. There was a little frig and microwave, coffee maker. One plate, one bowl, two drink glasses, two coffee cups, and one wine glass. The small balcony had a glass table and two chairs and an awesome view.
Cons: The toilet stopped working on my 2nd day - the water just didn't fill up in the tank so it wouldn't flush. I called it in and within a couple hours, a very nice gentleman came to fix it - and he fixed the slow-draining sink and he put in a light bulb into one of the bathroom sconces so it wasn't so dark. It would have been nice to have dishes and flatware and matching glasses. At least 2 of everything.
Excellent 9,4
Cons: Didn’t know we wouldn’t have any service unless requested during daytime hours. Not run by hotel
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Nothing - confirmation number from kayak not processes by Lsi, no reservation upon arrival . Had to book my own room with the hotel at twice the price.
Cons: Not using or recommending Lsi resorts to friends
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Daily housekeeping!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Comfortable room, good beds, nice view.
Cons: Bath sink didn't drain, called but no one showed up to fix . TV remote useless, had to "channel up/down" always. Couldn't just enter channel number. Maid service doesn't get to the room till 3:30/4:00 PM. No room service available. $4 to call from room to a cell with a different area code.

Poor 1,0
Pros: Terrible customer service I paid for 3 nights they took my money and did not check me in or answer any of my calls worst experience ive ever had!
Cons: Everything
Poor 1,0
Pros: The view and Location is awesome, 10 minutes walk to the Mall, Beach, it’s on the bus line. The Management via text is fast to assist.
Cons: The room and bathroom was dirty as hell, furniture broken and dated.TV was broken but I don’t watch tv apart from the news. Someone tried to sell me drugs when I was doing laundry and he was trying to pimp his girlfriend also. Some shady characters linger around the door and try to piggy back off your swipe but I don’t let anyone in. Only 1 elevator working for 40 floors. Best tip: Bring cleaning supplies so you can clean it yourself so you can rest assured that everything is cleaned and sanitized.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The Online management team and the ocean view.
Cons: There’s no front desk here. The place was not clean to my standards but I was gonna clean and sanitize everything again anyway. When I left the room it’s actually cleaner than when I found it. The best part of the room was the view. The AC in the room is new but you didn’t need it at night because you can sleep via ocean breeze.Nice little kitchenette, however the furniture is so dated, whoever painted the room is sloppy and didn’t use any masking tape-brush strokes are on the edges of cabinets, the ironing board is stained, broken lamps, they never vacuumed under the bed, Windows wasn’t wiped down, the previous tenants had kids cause you can see kids hand marks all over the window. The TV worked but the brilliance didn’t work so you couldn’t see the screen, I only used it to listen to the news. As for security, some guys always tried to enter the building behind me and said they forgot their room keys and I would say too bad and lock them out. I told them to call management. All the shady characters around here always have a excuse to get in the building, my girlfriend is in there,my key is broken etc etc. Not on my watch you got to call management which was another highlight of my stay, they’re always quick to answer because I did get locked out of the room and I texted them and I was in the room in seconds. Online management and the view was what made this trip great. Make sure you get a OCEAN VIEW, you go to sleep happy and you wake up happy when you look outside to the Ocean. I was on the 35th floor.

Pros: Overall it helped me with the situation I was in.
Cons: I didn’t like a lot .... our room didn’t even have toilet paper... I had to buy my own at the ABC store, our microwave had no glass to balance our food.. sink water didn’t go down.. so we couldn’t even use the kitchen. Needed towels but no one was there to service on weekends because of COVID I understand that but if that’s the case why don’t they give enough so we are set for the weekend? I never had service like this .... ever...

Pros: Didn’t like much about this place.
Cons: I didn’t like that we had to kill two huge roaches once entering the room and that there was no extra towels, toilet paper, or sheets to use, which caused us to buy our own. The pillows were stained and bed was super uncomfortable. It was also hard to watch tv bc it kept cutting in and out. Would’ve been great to come back to clean sheets, towels, and toilet paper, but nothing. Probably won’t be coming back.

Excellent hotel for a perfect vacation in paradise! It has a great location, close to restaurants, various shops, a few steps from Waikiki beach, among others. The apartment is very large and complete. You go to the window (high floors) which is giant and has all the views of the area. Its very comfortable with storage space, kitchen equipment (coffee maker, micro, toaster, etc.). It's worth it. Excellent location, close to shops, malls, restaurants (such as red lobster, among others). Paid Parking. Good value for money, especially considering the location.

The accommodation was pleasant but basic. The staff were excellent. One of the two lifts were out of order and this meant if the second broke down you would need to carry your suitcases down the very long flight of stairs.

come here if you want to pay $50 a day for simple housecleaning (not included in room price), two elevators that take 20 minutes to get you and take you down MINIMUM, the rooms are a mess and BROKEN DOWN!! this place is a complete catfish and you also have to take your own trash to the bin and get your own towels and necessities. every person I’ve met had been sucked in and has had a mental breakdown in some way during their stay BECAUSE of their rooms.
Okay 5,0
Cons: Air conditioner was loud and clunky. There was not a single place to sit except the toilet or the bed. Very old and run down.
Excellent 8,5
The location is really good, close to the beach, action and shops/restaurants. The apartment however needed some TLC. It’s outdated and the draws in the kitchen were falling apart. The bathroom floor also needed a serious bleaching/scrubbing as it had caked on muck. There are maids paid to make sure it’s clean but they’ve obviously become complacent. Would we stay again? Sure. Would I request they clean it properly next time? Absolutely!

After our long trip from California we were greeted by Rene at the front desk and our rooms were located in the Marina Tower. After checking into our room we found the view to be just beautiful of Ala Moana beach park. We had a kitchenette that had everything we needed to cook our meals on days we didn't want to go out to eat. Rene was very helpful, providing us with directions to get groceries, and restaurant advice, which included the North Shore Cafe that is located on the property. We can't wait for our next vacation here since we found it a great centrally located place with great service and beautiful views.

My wife and I stayed here on the last leg of our honeymoon. Absolutely!
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Close to where I had to be
Cons: The elevators broke down twice, two days in a row. Had to walk down stairs. They charge 25$ for their parking services even if your car is there for 2 hours. No discount or any type of remorse with the elevator breaking down.
Okay 4,0
Pros: The view was absolutely gorgeous and the AC worked great.
Cons: Mattress wasnt very comfortable, construction bring done on elevator which is very small. Get crammed with people and takes forever to come up and down. Parking is an extra $25 unless you want to find parking on the street.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: We liked the View from the room and location. Furniture was falling apart.
Cons: Both elevators were broken and we were on 38th floor. No one there for check-in. Charge 50 for towel.
Okay 4,8
Pros: I loved how close it was too the mall and other attractions of Waikiki. The large windows allowed a beautiful view.
Cons: When we first got into our room it was supposed to be a queen bed but we got to very hard twin beds, the floors were still covered in sand, and one of the elevators was broken so it took a very long time for us to get to and from our room.
Mediocre 3,7
Pros: Was close to shopping food and beach. Full kitchenette with stove fridge sink dishes coffee maker and microwave
Cons: Parking A rough driving valet only parking $25 a day Room Very morbid room that looks like you're in the early stages of the sims. Stove dials didn't have markings so you have to guess whether or not you turned it to hot or low. 2 twin beds, thin mattress hard springs, no comforter. Paint peeling from walls. If you are on a floor under floor 30 you have no view. Staff seems clueless. Cupboard door hinges aren't fitted correctly so some doors are stuck open. Very slow elevators. Took an average of 15 or more minutes to leave hotel. There are better places for the price.
Good 7,7
Pros: Room had a great ocean view and very clean.
Cons: Workers could be more friendly and new beds!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were ultimate professionals, the view was amazing, and you couldn't ask for a better location at the price.
Good 7,3
Pros: The room had a good view of the ocean, and the sunrise was very pleasant. There was a small kitchenette, and although we didn't avail ourselves of it, I can see that it would come in handy for a longer stay. The location was great, right on the main artery of Waikiki. Shopping, dining, and beaches are all easily accessible by foot, or if you get tired, there are frequent busses along the route. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
Cons: Fixtures and appliances were very old and worn, laminate was peeling off of the cabinetry. The shower was tiny. I wanted to make our first night in Hawaii a special one, which Is why I got the 'deluxe' room. Perhaps naively, I was expecting the room to be in better condition for the price. But to be honest, waking up to the ocean at sunrise on your first night in the tropics makes small annoyance about the room seem pretty insignificant
