Spacious room, bed and bathroom. Quiet airconditioner. Full kitchen. Balcony. Comfortable furniture.
The property is typical of others in this price range. Within the hotel property there are stores, salon, massage spa, ice cream shop, professional photo shop, Café, a restaurant…
The room is too bright for sleeping. The curtain Panels provide no darkening nor insulation which makes the room warmer than it should be. The AC needs to run continuously. It is actually too small to adequately handle the size of the room.
Location for us was great. We were on a surf trip and some of the best waves are right out front. However if you want the true waikiki experience you need to go down towards lewers street and the Duke statue which is a 20-30 minute walk give or take. The restaraunt on the property called cinnamons was good. Kobe shortrib locomoco and pancakes were great.
Was sold and ocean view master but our direct view was of the hotel next door (HHV). On the lani if you look out to the right you see the ocean. I would describe this room as a partial oceanview not oceanview. Room was clean. Plates were fine. Only 4 very small glasses which was annoying when you're trying to make drinks. Elevators get crazy busy during peak hours. We never went to the pool but it looked rather basic and small.
Friendly staff ... great view.... good bed and pillows. The a/c was quiet. Really nice room.
The tile floor was dirty but just wore my flip flops, so no problem.
It is a large, spacious property at the edge of Waikiki. The studio rooms are airy and well equipped.
The staff were brusque and unhelpful almost to the point of rudeness, especially in reception. This is a very large building and we were given no help to find our way around, were not advised of the facilities or even where to find the lift to take us to our room. The hotel is in an area with limited restaurant choices near by and is some way from the beach but the whole area is very built up and the hotel itself has 25 floors which is quite normal in the area. we were just passing through on our way from Kauai to the UK (1 night) but I would not want to have stayed longer.
