The agent at pick up said that Kyak did not include the tax in the price and so in fact I didn’t get the best deal as it stated when I booked. So I had to pay an Extra $24 usd. That was disappointing. I won’t use Kyak again.Reviewed Feb 9 2025

Took a long time to check in despite filling out all the material beforehand Car was an EV and there was nowhere to charge that wasn't broken or being used Because I couldn't recharge the car, I was charged a ridiculous amount No acknowledgement of the problem when I returned the car - guy just shrugsReviewed Jan 12 2025

After reserving my vehicle with a debit card via the pay later option when I tried to pick up my car at Palm Springs airport the Hertz employee told me because I didn’t have the CREDIT card I used to make the reservations I could not pick up the car and I could not get a refund. I had to have a friend reserve the car under his name and pay an additional fee to add me as a driver even though I was the one that reserved for and paid for the car. Again, I made the reservation with a debit card, but it hurts. Employee refused to accept the card that I used to make the reservation even though that is the policy.Reviewed Dec 30 2023

I arrived to only be told that I would be charged an additional 800 dollars on top of what I already paid online. I felt like I was being scammed for more money. I ended up paying 450 usd more than my quoted priced online when booking and paying. I feel very taken advantage of. Will never book again through Kayak or through this company.
