Pros: The staff were amazingly kind and helpful. The room, small, but immaculate. The only issue was the adjacent restaurant must have been stripping floors and choking chemicals came through the vent system. It was suffocating at 230 am. I called the front desk and they moved us to a different room, just to sleep. I appreciated that, but not the headache or burning throat. No fault of theirs, buthe admittedly a bit inconvenient. Still, I can not wait to visit again. I highly recommend.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved staying here!! The rooms were very spacious & clean! They had extra sheets and pillows just in case. The room seemed like an apartment with kitchen and living room. I liked that there were doors to separate the room from living room to have more privacy for the ones that stay on the sofa bed. The staff were really nice and polite! The had several choices for breakfast which was really good. We enjoyed the pool table that closed at 10pm which was understandable because it’s late but not too late.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Our overall experience was 9/10 because of the following things: - earlier check-in (~2 hrs before the check-in time) - reception staff - breakfast buffet & waiter/waitress - smooth check-out
Cons: No shaving kit was provided
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed having a hot breakfast each morning. The overall selection was good and plentiful. We liked having access to hot water and coffee at all times during the day! The evening reception was a nice surprise and served M-Th 5:00 to 7:00. Then hot cookies were served - nice touch! Great shuttle service to the Metro each day allowed us to not have a car!
Cons: Temperature of the food some mornings was just lukewarm. The powdered eggs were awful. We did not have a car and the first three evenings we had to walk to restaurants after walking all day in spite of asking at the front desk about a shuttle to another area. Would have been nice to have been told at that time about the dinner shuttle. Day 4, our shuttle driver told us about the van going to Shirlington at 5 in the evenings - nice to be able to ride to dinner and get picked up in a timely manner!!

Pros: location
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, good location, free parking, tasty breakfast with lots of choices, most comfortable hotel bed I've had in years.
Cons: The housekeeping staff routinely parked carts where they were difficult to get around in the hallways and near the elevator doors. Walls were a little thin; I was awakened at 1:30 a.m. one night by conversation in the room next door.
6,7 Good
Pros: It was very convenient in proximity to places to eat and where I needed to be.
Cons: The breakfast was just okay this time around. I’ve stayed there before and found the food to have more variety, but for the price it was okay.

Pros: Great location and beautiful room
Cons: Parking prices were not explained enough. Valet offered to take our car when we were unloading our bags; we assumed it was complimentary since they didn’t say anything. We were SHOCKED when we picked up our car the next day and were charged $70.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff, excluding bartender from the sports bar, were exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated in the establishment. Even the guards were courteous and welcoming.
Cons: The room was not cleaned daily.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location was good and had places there to eat

Pros: This is our go-to hotel in Washington. At times pricier than others, but we find times when it's more affordable and go then.
Cons: Still think the valet parking is a bit expensive, but I usually don't stay much longer than a few nights.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The price for the rooms is expensive for the service you get from the hotel. Part of The coffee machine has been missing since second day of my stay and the housekeeping never replaced it. Also they have been forgetting to put me the wooden spoon for the tea. I had only the first day. The staff at front disk are very tough and not friendly at all. Wifi is not free unless you call the helpdesk and ask for this. Dont recommend it at all
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great and spacious room
Cons: No self parking so the cost to park there is high
6,0 Good
Pros: The location was great... in the middle of everything and everywhere I needed to get to. Close to the National Mall, Metro stations, and good good and bars. Bartender at lobby bar was awesome.
Cons: It's too expensive for what it is. $60 for valet parking? Yikes. The room was nice, but just a normal room. Could have stayed at other hotels near by with as nice/nicer rooms for cheaper, but I'm pretty committed to the Marriott brand.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Check in was quick and smooth. The quality of food via room service was excellent. Staff surprised friend with a candlelit cake when we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday as well as New Years Eve. Comfy beds.
Cons: Who ever stayed in the room before set the alarm at the crack of dawn and we couldn’t get it to turn off, only snooze. Had to call the front desk to get an engineer to show us how to turn it off. I also didn’t like that the hotel did not allow us to request a late check out for 30-60 min with no charge. This huge convenience coming off our birthday/NYE celebrations and the nuisance of the clock alarm continuously going off. I left the hotel feeling rushed and not well rested which put a damper on the end of our stay. The self parking garage is also very tight. An arduous process to leave the garage.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and breakfast was awesome as well. Overall, the hotel is beautiful. The lobby was gorgeous!
Cons: The room didn't appear exactly like the photos. We were missing the love seat in front of the bed that appeared in the photos. We also were missing the two chairs and small table in the bedroom as well. We also requested a high floor which was not accommodated. Overall, those were our only complaints.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good location lots of food within walking distance.
Cons: The bell hop/valet was aggressive about us parking at the facility. We had just gotten there and he was insistent on taking our keys and parking our car if we weren’t back down in 15 minuets. They fact that we explained we just needed drop our bags and head out to eat he couldn’t process.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and spacious rooms, delicious (if pricey) breakfast, nice gym
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What a beautiful hotel. The staff was great. The room was really nice.
Cons: The A/C must be some new environmentally safe thing because it never got cool enough for me. The shower took about 10 minutes to get hot enough - then it was plenty hot. I suspect these are "green devices" in the hotel.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Location was good. Pleasant doormen.
Cons: Terrible parking situation. Overcharging for parking. Too many fees and taxes. Water in bathroom very noisy. Had to sleep on couch as hotel could not help with getting room with two beds. Food in restaurant terrible with too much salt. 20% tip mandatory.

7,0 Good
Pros: Location and rooftoop bar.
Cons: Sound of music travels thru elevator shaft and can be heard in rooms close to elevators at night.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location to national mall
Cons: Strange lightning in room. Automatic bathroom lights too bright. Had to call front desk to inquire about turning off bar lights before we could go to bed.
1,0 Poor
Pros: I felt like I was staying at a 3 star. The room was extremely dusty, they changed my reservation to a Queen bed. I was told when I called at 9 there would be no breakfast today. They charged my card for the stay PLUS a 200 incidentals. I was not satisfied
Cons: The location was great and the hotel atmosphere was very modern and eclectic. However, I will not stay there again.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location and willingness to meet my needs.
Cons: The bathroom had no door. Noise level of the lobby.
7,1 Good
Pros: Great bed, nice, modern room. Amazing location.
Cons: Our room had a view of a brick wall, very disappointing. The room service was very poor and very expensive. Travel channel fans, don't come here expecting an amazing sandwich, it is no longer available.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: The room itself was nice and it is in a great location.
Cons: I was not informed at booking that construction would be ongoing during my stay. I was told at check in it would begin at 10 AM. It started well before. The rooftop bar and restaurant were the main reasons I chose this hotel and both were closed due to it
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff, ambiance in the hotel, the restaurant are very good. The Staff was very helpful with their recommendations... Very tiny bathroom though, but the rest was perfect
Cons: bathroom too small
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Came to town for my uncles funeral and to my surprise, the concierge, Jezebel, Googled a picture of my uncle, put it in a frame and added a hand written note, bottle of wine, fruit tray and rose centerpiece. Amazing! Alex in the lobby bar was outstanding, Ronnie meets you at the door with a contagious smile, and Marlin, Ernest and Lo give top notch service in POV. Stay her and experience all the staff has to offer - they are amazing!!
Cons: Nothing! Other than if I could have stayed longer...
7,9 Good
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: I was disappointed since I paid more to have a room with a “spectacular” view (according to the site) and I got there I ended up on the 4th floor and had a view of the building next door. I called the front desk and they told me all they had available were rooms on the 10th floor, but that most people complain about the loud noise coming from the top floor where they have a club. I also thought the breakfast was included but what we got was actually a coupon for $18 to spend at the cherry restaurant which is pretty expensive. Don’t get me wrong, the food is really great but I thought they should make things more clear on their website. All in all I’d probably pick a different hotel when we go back to Washington.
7,7 Good
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Checkout was advertised as 3:00 PM, We were not able to check into our room until 5:00. When we did check-in we had already pre-paid for a Fabulous Room, but the staff member that was checking us in recommended we switch to a Spectacular Room since we had a young child. He said the Fabulous Room would be too loud due to the location of being on the top floor under the bar. We agreed to change rooms, but were only offered breakfast vouchers which we knew we wouldn't use. After we walked away my husband said he felt like the guy was a used car salesman and that we got played. We went back to the desk and dealt with another employee (Harry) and he switched us back to our original room and said that the room was not that loud.
10,0 Excellent
