Pros: I liked everything about the hotel. The room was nice and spacious. Bed was absolutely amazing. Very comfortable. Recommend others to chose this hotel. Not far from the city at all. About a 5 or 10 minute drive.

Pros: Most of the other hotels of the same caliber in the area were at least $100 per night before taxes were added which for budget conscious travelers is hard. So when I found this one for under $90 I was afraid that I would be disappointed but I was not. My room was very comfortable and quiet. Having a sitting area and basically a minibar area in the room was a nice touch.
Cons: The location of the pool was basically in the lobby and you have to pass it to get to the elevators. So it is rather noisy/busy to get to the elevators but once you are passed it is fine.

Cons: Room was old and dingy and breakfast was ok. I stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and loved it however the hotel changed and I was not happy about staying at the hotel this time around.

Pros: As usual the staff is friendly and prompt. Love it when housekeepers greet guests and these guys always do. Rooms are clean and any problems usually tended to quickly.I love this hotel and have been coming here for over five years. It's a race or just for a casual weekend away.
Cons: Apparently there was a glitch when I checked in with the computer system. Which meant at 1:30 in the morning someone is trying to get into my room. The night manager did call to check on me. But he also seemed a little bit busy. So then asked if he could call back. To which I said "no". It was all taken care of and we talked in the morning. I am currently awaiting resolution from the general manager. I feel confident that this hotel will make me happy again.

Cons: The walls are very thin. Person in the room next door decided to turn on the news at 5:30am. It was if the tv was in our room. Checkout was at 11:00 but maid service came at 9:30 to clean our room. Not a restful experience

Pros: The staff was very attentive, helpful and nice. Beds were really comfortable. Refrigerator in room with nice sitting space and kitchenette.
Cons: I didn't like that the sink was separate from the toilet and shower. It was located in the main room space. I like bathrooms to be completely closed off with sink included for privacy. Seemed a bit outdated.

Cons: There's a minimum age requirement of 21 to be able to stay here. Don't get me wrong everyone's got their own set of rules and such, I just would have greatly appreciated knowing this before I made the drive up there in advance or made the reservations.

Pros: I only need a place to sleep on my long drives between Florida and the midwest. This is the perfect place to stop coming back form Florida because it is beyond the heavy rush hour morning commuter traffic of Charlotte as I continue north and west in the morning. The rooms are small in all Microtel's, hence the name, but always clean, comfortable and in good repair. It is a no-frills chain, but that is all a weary traveler really needs. The breakfasts are usually a waste of time to even look at, but if dry cereal and day-old bagles appeal to you...you are in luck here. However, there are always plenty of places nearby to grab some breakfast for the road. Dunkin' Donuts is only about 2 minutes away.

Cons: Make sure you check out on time or you will be hazed by the housekeepers and maintenance crew until you leave your room. Starting at 11:01!! Manager never acknowledged anybody it she just let the staff do the "dirty work" All was fine until checkout time arrived :-)

Cons: We booked a double room and only got a single. The room was dirty and had a weird smell. The staff was very rude and very unhelpful. The management staff does not care about the customers at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Cons: Don't expect a great breakfast...coffee, donuts, cereal. For what you pay you shouldn't expect more than this. 2nd stay (Tuesday) had no Non-Smoking rooms available even though the parking lot was empty. Room did not smell too bad, but a cigarette burn on the toilet seat is unacceptable.

Pros: It was clean and Fridge with freezer in room was nice . Easy access to 77. I felt safe in the parking lot and there where some food choices close by.
Cons: The part of town wasn't the greatest not terrible but not the greatest either . I would stay more to the south part of town next time near Carowinds . We found better rates in that area too.The pool was small and like a fish bowl.When the hotel was full on Saturday it took 20 minutes to get hot water in the shower and when it wasnt full on Sunday it took 10 minutes still.

Cons: The area was sketchy, there was no breakfast because of Covid and that was not mentioned on the website, it was not very clean, it smelled terrible, it wasn’t very clean, you could hear everything going on outside your room very clearly. Luckily we were just staying for one night to break up our drive, and it was super cheap, but not a good stay.

Pros: Family owned. The family members/staff were very friendly and accommodating. They did what they could to make me happy. The first night there, I asked them to change my sheets because they appeared to be unclean, most likely, not changed after last client. The night clerk moved me to another room instead. I asked to be moved the next morning because of the I-85 traffic and the noisy air conditioner. They moved me with a happily.
Cons: The building needed a lot of maintenance. The common areas were substandard and not very presentable. The halls and elevator was not air conditioned. The provided breakfast was really substandard. No vending machines. Ice only. The one thing that really bothered me was the dirty carpets through out the building and the rooms. The rooms and halls need paint. I would not recommend to my friends or family.

Cons: Full trash bags (from all of room cleanings) were left in the stairwell between 1st and 2nd floor for both days we stayed. Not sure if they were ever taken out, but they made the entire hallway smell!

Cons: The smell was horrible. There was honestly no difference in the smoking and non smoking rooms because the building smelled horrendous. The rooms looked as if house keeping had cleaned the rooms but many of the fixtures were dirty. WE DID NOT EVEN USE THE BATHROOM. IT WAS HORRIBLE.

Pros: Huge bugs crawl on you at night. The bathroom smelled like urine because it had not been cleaned. Hair in the bathtub. Not vacuumed carpet. Maids are the laziest ever. She didn't clean the room but took all the used towels and didon't bring new ones back for five hours. I asked the manager if she could clean the room and bring me towels. He said sure whenever he finds her. Needless to say she still didnt clean the room when she appeared hours later. I ended up leaving at 12:30am because a huge bug was crawling on me.
