Pros: Very high attention to details. The room was very comfortable, amazing smell, patio overlooking the garden. The stuff was very professional and nice
Cons: The pillows had a strong moldy smell. The location is somewhat far from the city center, but the tram takes you there in no time
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Home away from home. The rooms were quite and spacious- beautiful decor and clean. Really enjoyed my stay- thanks to Lottie, one of the hosts we made me feel welcome .
Cons: Nothing
7,0 Good
Pros: I had stayed in Brussels Pillows before and it was more spacious and nice. It's a really nice area. Clean facility and especially I like their breakfast area and fireplace.
Cons: They have tiny rooms, so small. I really didn't enjoy our stay. If you're family this is definitely not a good choice. Also, toom has no light. Tiny window, tiny bathroom. It's even hard to turn around in the bathroom.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was awesome. The hotel is very boutique-y... and you are treat special by all the staff there. They take time to chat to you, even on check-in we were given a beverage whilst sorting the details. Our room was lovely, very clean with good tea/coffee facilities. The bed was super comfotmable, the shower was great and the room felt stylish and warm. The chef is super - catering to all your needs.
Cons: Nothing! Actually - what i didn't like was having to leave!
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was included and was delicious -- also served until Noon, which works out great for late risers like us.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything - comfortable, clean, stylish Room was a bit small but since I was traveling alone this was sufficient.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to everything great staff
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here for business and it was great. All the required services and internet were available. As for comfort, the bed was perfect. My only discomfort was that it can get a bit too warm at night despite the heater being off. Also, I have to say that the hotel is beautiful and in a very nice location. It is very easy to find your bearings to find your way back and feel safe even late at night. Would definitely stay here again.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms, clean hotel and cool ambience
Cons: The alarm started ringing at 9 am and was anoying. They didnt even say sorry for waking me up
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel in the perfect location. A little oasis away from the maddening crowds. Service on all levels far surpassed expectation. Breakfasts and lunches at Pause were delicious. We loved the canal cruise! Everything you could want from an intimate city hotel.
Cons: Rooms are small and lighting at the dressing table not very good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great feel to this place. Great combination of historical and modern. Great location. Great bar.
Cons: One issue with a slight mechanical noise n the room, which the hotel will address.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was increadible!! went far beyond protocal to help me when we arrived I had travel sickness. The hotel was stunning!! Location was perfect!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Pulitzer was recently redesigned and it exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The location can't be beat. It's in a very smart area in Amsterdam with great bars, shops, and restaurants nearby. The design of the hotel is very chic. The interior courtyard garden is amazing. Everything was perfect except service at restaurant Jansz. Everyone was well intended but some people (hostess) abandoned post for several minutes and people were left waiting to be received and, &! My case, to collect my coat. This is one area of operation to inspect. Otherwise, everything was so perfect. I've stayed also at the Dylan hotel and Waldorf and I would say that this hotel is better than Waldorf because the design is so smart and not generic like Waldorf. And I would say it's equal to the Dylan. Dylan is also chic but has a more classic design inspiration. Stay here while it's still affordable. I imagine rates will increase once reviews and bookings start coming in.

The Hoxton, Amsterdam - Amsterdam - Bedroom
3
9,2 Excellent (1 753 reviews)
R5 805+
Overview Reviews
The Hoxton, Amsterdam is made up of a series of five canal houses overlooking both the Herengracht and Singel canals. The property has a fascinating history, dating from the early 17th Century, formally a residential town house that was home to the Mayor of Amsterdam. The hotel will consist of 111 rooms and will also house it's very own Apartment, our meeting and event space like no other, restaurant and bar.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice bar and restaurant area
Cons: Did not receive papers at check out
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Such a fun atmosphere! Everyone at the reception desk was a concierge - extremely helpful and had great suggestions for dining and getting around. Perfect location. Loved Lottie's restaurant.
Cons: nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Cannot say enough about how great our stay was here! We extended our stay by a day we loved it so much. The prices were very reasonable. They checked us in 2 hrs early with zero hassle. All of the room supplies were included. While not exceedingly spacious, everything about the room and hotel oozed modern style. There was interesting literature on the shelves. The beds were clean and comfortable. In the lobby was a hip restaurant with delicious and affordable faire which we frequented almost every day, and at night became a popular bar until 1 am. There were many other places to eat, shop, or stroll past from the Hoxton's central location, but it was far enough removed from the main tourist areas to feel somewhat local. I would recommend this place to anyone except maybe those traveling with children, as I believe they had to "cheat" to fit us into a single room, and we are smaller than your average humans as it was.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular experience, I loved the vibe and design of the space. All finishes are high quality and products they give you in the room smell fabulous . Breakfast is also excellent. It’s the small touches like having smooth jazz playing in your room when you walk in, I cannot say more positive things about it.
Cons: Nothing!
4,2 Okay
Cons: My single room was tiny. It was impossible to see the television from the bed. In the evening, the lobby turned into a very crowded and noisy nightlife venue. Because of the crowd, it was difficult to get in and out of the hotel. Would never stay here again.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location, the vibe, the atmosphere and the staff were all excellent.
Cons: I know we booked a cosy room but I had no idea the door would hit the bed when we opened the door!
7,1 Good
Pros: The location was great and we really liked the interior design and the view from the windows was superb.
Cons: The room was noisy until midnight due to loud music in the lounge. Breakfast was a bag with a joghurt and a banana. At 350 per night this wasnt good value for money. We also disliked the lounge which tried to be cafe, bar and restaurant and didnt do any of it well - it was also very noisy. I would not recommend this hotel.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Two bottles of water in the fridge and breakfast at the door.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Avocado smash was soggy and a little disappointing.
Cons: Food did not live up to rest of experience.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Super expensive but a great hotel, cool comfort design - good location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great atmosphere
Cons: Small bed

Cons: I wish I had more time there!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, great service, enjoyable staying
Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel, staff and location..
Cons: Thin walls, the room was perfect but we could hear the guy next door on a normal level phone call very clearly untill 2:30am. Otherwise it was a perfect hotel!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Massage at the spa was extraordinarily good.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Seem to have a verity of restaurants. However, they need to be booked in advance and have long waiting lists.
Cons: Major issue with the lifts at the hotel, making guests wait for a lift ride for 10/15 minutes. The breakfast is of a high quality. However the buffet is very small for such a large hotel and all the food gets taken fast, leaving guests to wait for the next batch of sausage/muffins to be brought out. The stuff doesn’t seem to care about empty dishes unless asked upon those items directly. Overall the hotel is pretty old and needs some renovations.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and my room were nice. The staff is excellent, helpful and accommodating. I had a very pleasant stay here.
Cons: The hotel is a good distance from the city center. I think I remember reading ~ a 30 minute walk but it was more like ~50 minutes. Using public transportation, Ubers or taxis is a must.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: everything
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of staff.
Cons: Flexibility of staff. Overall standards do not meet Okura Tokyo.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, excellent restaurants, very nice bathroom, good location.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The pool spa area
Cons: The room had a huge stain on the carpet, and the staff made us wait a few hours before check in. its a great hotel but for a 5 star hotel and for what they charge it did not meet expectation

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish and clean. Staff was super nice and helpful
8,0 Excellent
Pros: the helpfulness of the staff and reception was very calm when we arrived with lots of people wanting rooms for the Andre Rieu concert that night.
Cons: loose fittings in the washroom and toilet, also I found there not enough tea and sugar in the room I had to go and ask reception for more ...
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms at the Jaz Amsterdam are incredibly comfortable; the bed is huge and incredibly comfortable. The room is a great size, big enough to never feel cramped. The room we got had a window seat, which gave us great views of the little plaza outside. The room was incredibly quiet (we never heard any of our neighbours), though because we were below the gym we could just hear the noise of people on the treadmill above. The staff were friendly in the hotel and the restaurant.
Cons: The hotel is about an 8 minute walk from a metro/train station, so its fairly convenient but it still takes about half-an-hour to get into central Amsterdam.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Modern, funky. Great shower. Comfy bed. Great atmosphere. Just had a burger which was okay, but salad and steaks looked delish!
Cons: “Jaz in the City” is a short walk to the Metro and a 15-20 minute train journey to the centre of town. Good location for concerts if you don’t want to enjoy what the centre has to offer. That being said, lithe trains, trans etc are safe, regular and it’s not an issue- you just need to be aware of its proximity to the city.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms, very modern, comfortable bed, staff very attentive
Cons: Restaurant prices where very high considering we where not in central Amsterdam
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Huge room. Location better than expected. Nice facilities. Good breakfast.
Cons: Shower in room goes hot and cold intermittently, not consistent. Coffee at breakfast from the machine.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We really loved this hotel. It’s adjacent to Ajax stadium, the train station, concert hall, food, etc That’s all great but also really liked the style and vibe of the hotel itself. Very new!
Cons: No Pool

10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was so nice!
Cons: Location wasn’t the best. Pretty short walk to Centraal Station and Jordaan (15 mins) but there’s no nearby tram or metro and only one bus stop that didn’t seem to be used for many attractions.

Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great, location was do able, close enough to central station, and it was clean.
Cons: No
6,0 Good
Pros: Room was spacious and bright. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Room had odd shaped useless bedside tables. Counter was the only shelving facility in the room. Not enough for toiletries, phone/charger, wallets etc. we ordered dinner in the room and had no where to place the dishes except if we removed our stuff or ate on our laps. Most uncomfortable design. Hotel was located 15 minutes away from the charming city hub (on foot). Overall it didn't add any good impression to make it worth returning to.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything the staff, location, the room. Will be returning in the future!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern design; Room was very comfortable with modern appointments, comfortable beds and bathroom. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location near Station Centraal was quite convenient.
Cons: Breakfast was excellent, but a bit overpriced.
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff was reallynice.
Cons: It wasn't very clean, it was the furthest one out from the center of town.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked that the location was farther from the tourist areas but still within easy reach of anywhere in Amsterdam you might want to go. Great bar nearby with fantastic patio area called Meneer Nieges. The nearby Jordaan neighborhood is wonderful to explore, especially around sunset.

The first and second floors of this hotel function as an extensive meeting and conference center. It offers 1800 sq. m. of naturally lit flexible event space including a grand pillar less ballroom.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: It is on the airport. It is easy to reach. It fits the purpose. It is the Hilton, so I know what to expect and it is value for money.
Cons: I would have liked finding some bath slippers, I forgot to take mine and I don't want to walk barefoot in a hotel room but don't want to wear shoes either. And truth be told, I told other Hilton hotels as well, I preferred the Peter Thomas Roth toiletries better.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: You need a hotel at AMS, you got it. It's comfortable and well furnished and featured.
Cons: Someone prior to me opened a coke bottle from the mini-fridge and then put it back. Hotel still charged me for it -- assuming due to sensors. The long hallway from the airport concorse to the actual hotel was a bit far, but that was minor.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location is great! I usually stay at the Sheraton, and decided to try the Hilton. I was disappointed at how small and claustrophobic the rooms were. not enough natural light/windows. I for sure appreciate modern design (live in a very modern house), but felt this design detracted from the experience of staying there.
Cons: design of the rooms. Would appreciate more vegan food options.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient and comfortable. Also, felt safe.
Cons: No
7,7 Good
Pros: Location was great , the lounge is amazing , greT view , awesome shower
Cons: Terrible internet !! We got the room on executive level , got there at 10 PM and were told that it was already closed and would not reopen until after I flight would leave the next day
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel! Awesome impressive lounge and entrance! Great food!
Cons: The cocktail guy wasn't in until later that evening. So our planned cocktail evening was not possible
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The bread are exceptional
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Great breakfast selection. Comfortable beds. Great location for a layover.
Cons: The room wasn’t ready at the check-in time as specified. The barmen forgot our drinks order and we had to remind him about the order, he gave us drinks on the house. Went to the restaurant for dinner, the restaurant can do more effort with cleaning the chairs and checking the cutlery. Was given a dirty steak knife with old scraps of food still on the knife.
7,0 Good
Pros: Easy 10 minute walk to the airport, all inside.
Cons: Very weak breakfast buffet, very average but still 16 EUR. Telephone in room with Operator button did not ring the front desk and nobody answered. Unless you knew and dialed the extension of the front desk (5000) you could not get through.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was thrilled at the convenience of walking to and from the airport! Front desk receptionists were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel and return when I'm back in Holland.
7,0 Good
Pros: I liked the blue lights at night and the cool windows.
Cons: It was really nice, but my room was really cold. That was a surprise. Maybe that is just the way people like it in Amsterdam, but from the U.S., I am used to being able to turn up the heater much higher. I even moved to another room and it didn't work.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room in a very modern hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Only 10 minutes walk to Main Hall.
Cons: As a vegetarian, the food was mediocre. Enjoyed menu though with 3 kinds of food that could be combined however you like it.

Pros: The staff are fabulous! Hotel has wonderful history. It was the home of Rembrandt's Nightwatch. The location is very central to all Amsterdam sites. The breakfast is incredible. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was nice and the rooms were well sized. Can't really complain. Great location and price for the time of year. Bathrooms and beds were clean.
Cons: We did have to do some rearranging of the furniture to get some more space between my friend and I, and ended up finding a large amount of dust under the TV stand. Lift was out of order.

Pros: I love how close it is to the train/metro/tram station, it makes it super easy to go in/out of town and it’s quiet!
Cons: Their selection of restaurants in the area is slim, because it is a business area but I’m sure if we weren’t here during the Christmas holidays it would be better.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: nice hotel, comfotable room with good working area, polite and helpful staff, good fitness center, comformable business area, variety of dishes for breakfast. A perfect place to stay on a business trip.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: What we didn't like ? That we stayed there for only 4 nights and not more .
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Reception customer service really good and friendly, rooms are nice and location perfect with good connection to the city center
Cons: Room cleaning service lacking quality compared to the standard of the hotel. After room being cleaned no towels at all in the bathroom (previous ones removed no replacement, just the tiny used hand towels still in the sink, so kind of looked like they started cleaning the bathroom but left at a certain point). Details like dust on the coffee machine etc.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Spotless clean, very friendly and helpful staff throughout
Cons: Could of done with some thin pillows.!

6,7 Good
Pros: The location, right next to food hallen !! Great breakfast.
Cons: No window in the room
9,6 Excellent
Cons: There was no room service after 10pm - for a 4-star hotel in a major European city, which has plenty of business visitors and not only tourists, that was really disappointing.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Hotel de Hallen was once our favourite hotel in Amsterdam, which we recommended to scores of our friends and family. The location, staff and hotel as a whole are still amazing. Breakfast is adequate and tasty.
Cons: There is a communication gap between the (separate) reservations department and reception which completely ruined our stay. A week before our arrival there was a €153 charge to my bank account - no problem - pre-arrival authorisation. Then 2 days later, another € 153 charge. I emailed the reservations team and they advised that they had accidentally processed the first as a charge and not authorisation and will refund it. Without contacting me and notifying me of their mistake, they proceeded with the second authorisation - as if it is the norm to misuse guests credit card details shared with them via booking.com. Then on arrival, I'm told that they need to process yet another authorisation on my card of €153 as well as €50 for incidentals. So more than €500 charged and I haven't even checked in. I tried to discuss the multiple charges with reception, but they referred me back to the separate reservations team. Another email to reservations later, I get a reply that not to worry. The multiple authorisations will all be deducted when I check out and I will only pay the difference. Fine. Come check out, I'm informed that I have been misled - I am charged the full value of my stay, and the authorisations will apparently be released and interbank credits will happen. I checked out 25/12 and on 30/12 only the refund for the first erroneous charge had been credited. Another email to reservations and I get the reply "our apologies for this, today we have manually released the authorisation". This a week after my check out - with my constant need to follow up. It is now 03/01 and still no credit to my account for the authorisations. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED.
7,9 Good
Pros: It was cool.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location. The room – quite small but well designed. Very comfortable bed, with the big pillows especially appreciated. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: The breakfast was mediocre. Coffee was from a proper bean-to-espresson machine but the coffee was poor quality. Breakfast items that were meant to be hot, were nearly cold.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and tidy
Cons: The area

Pros: The location was excellent. Breakfast was great.
Cons: The front desk staffs were not friendly. One of them was rude.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: Too noisy. The bar downstairs opens to 2 am and people inside are very very very noisy, which means you will not be able to sleep before 2 am next day. And it is no use to complain to the hotel.

Pros: Location was great
Cons: Keys stopped working every day and it takes a very long time to get from the room tothe front desk to get new ones. I also was unable to make my first night due to a change in our flight that was beyond my control and although I called more than 24 hours before arrival they would not refund my first night stay. I would not suggest pre paying. I have worked in hotels so I know there are always ways staff can make it up to you - free breakfast, bottles of wine, discounts on future stays etc. Nothing was done

Pros: The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was a great value.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The look and big space
Cons: No porch
5,0 Okay
Pros: Located in the centrum.
Cons: On our check-out day, our bag with camera, wallet, passport, cash, cards inside, was taken by thief at the lobby. Surprisingly it was difficult to ask the security to check CCTV. He only wanted to check one spot that we said where our bag probably was before missing, and rejected to check other CCTV.. The security tend to blame us by saying our belonging is our responsibility. Yes, we know, but it happened in their lobby, so at least show emphaty and full support for any chance to find it. There were not many people in the lobby at that time. Fortunately I got photos taken around the time the incident happened, showing where our bag was, then when it was gone. We even had the photo of the thief. Based on that photos, the security were willing to check CCTV. After checking, he said "you are right. This guy took your bag". Out of our confusion for losing the important stuff, we asked what we should do. The doorman whom we often saw him around the lobby and actively talked and greeted everybody, suggested us..."you can report it to the police, it is not far from here...". With big smile.

Pros: Great location, the staff were helpful and allowed me to check in very early. Hotel is clean with great facilities.
Cons: Steps in the apartments are steep.....however most seem to be in Amsterdam! They had provided a lift, but if you struggle with steps the apartments may be a challenge.

8,2 Excellent
Pros: Smart design
Cons: Seems a little impractical (wrt the bathroom facilities) for the first time user. May be one will get used to but given this was my first time, I was not very impressed.
7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel was clean and wonderful. the staff helped us with every small request. the room was warm and cleaned every day.
Cons: There was almost no closet space. The bathroom and shower are in the middle of the room, which was a new experience, but found it a bit weird.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, just a few minutes walk from the train station and tram stop which allowed us to travel easily. The breakfast was excellent value, and very filling. We tried to eat out, but the food on offer for dinner was too tempting! Staff were fantastic.
Cons: The rooms are on the small size, but only if you're being really fussy.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to Zuid Station and a Tram to the centre. V friendly staff - happy to help, accommodate, advise etc. Very modern rooms, smart 'mood pad', lighting, tv etc. V clean.
Cons: They had run out of free bikes so we had to pay at a local place to hire them - we were told we'd get a discount for staying at citizen m but this didn't materialise. Shame there's no free tea & coffee.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was brilliant, loved the automation.
Cons: Breakfast was limited.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Whilst a little way out of the centre of Amsterdam, this hotel was only a few minutes walk from the train station and tram stops that could take you straight into the city. The room itself was very modern and I enjoyed using the iPad to change the lighting and select films to watch. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in.
Cons: The room is compact and as such, there is no wall divider between the bathroom and bedroom. Whilst the toilet and showers were in cylindrical cubicles, they weren't soundproofed. So, if travelling with someone else, be conscious that you will be able to hear everything.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the Amsterdam hotel went above and beyond in helpfulness. They oriented us to the city, the rail system, best restaurants, called cabs, etc. Felt like we had made friends.
Cons: The rooms are quite small., and yes, the shower is in the middle of the room. You have to see it to believe it. It's fine if you're a couple, or single. well worth it. We will always use this chain in any city we can.

Pros: Great location nice staff
Cons: I originally booked A premium room I got there late so the room is pretty much a closet with a window that look nowhere I upgraded to a better room for €50 a night and it was very good
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Swissôtel Amsterdam is in one of the absolute best locations of any hotel in all of Centraal Amsterdam. A short walk from the major historical sites, bars, restaurants and Centraal Station.
Cons: Not really -- I had a great experience. You might want to take Uber from the train station if you have a lot of heavy luggage to transport. I walked the .5 miles from the station in 15 minutes with my carry-on luggage no problem.

Cons: There was construction going on during our stay right above our room. We were woken up every morning.

Cons: Eggs smelled bad and the bacon was not cooked. We would have eaten pastries, but they did not have any. Only thing we could eat was the yogurt and toast. Definitely not worth the money.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location; the staff were very helpful and friendly, and it was peaceful.
Cons: The lighting in the room was very poor, even when turned up to maximum, and especially for ladies putting on and checking makeup. Plus there were dark spots where lighting was non existent.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were outstanding- really went out of their way to help and with no fuss made us feel welcome and special. It was Xmas eve and we were upgraded which was a real treat - also given a gift of lovely waffles.
Cons: Nothing- all good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room with the king bed is amazing. It's so close to the museums and it's near excellent shops and restaurants.
Cons: They don't have amenities in the rooms. No moisture, conditioner or shampoo.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and style of hotel and vibe
Cons: I didn't like that there is no conditioner in the shower. Also, there were some messes that housekeeping did not attend to.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were small but well appointed. The staff was friendly. Best of all the location is away from the tourist craziness yet near many attractions and a great place to begin exploring on bicycle.
Cons: The wine in the room was disappointing in quality and price.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location is good !
Cons: Some of the staff were particularly rude, we tried to explain that the room was dirty (hair in the bathtub, dirty towels and crumbles on the table that stay here for two days) and were treated with disregard. Small details as 4-star hotels should be paying attention to, are inexistant in this establishment.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious rooms. Very relaxing atmosphere.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous funky little hotel with amazing staff in a quieter Amsterdam location
Cons: I would have liked a door between the children’s room and main room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location close to park in quiet residential neighborhood. The staff was accommodating and even emailed when room was ready before scheduled checkin time.
Cons: Second time staying here...home in AMS!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Everything about hotel was great - location room bathroom etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really recommend the hotel
Cons: Due to deposits and checking if the booking card is working the hotel held at one point £140. I got 50 of this as we were leaving the hotel and the rest back 3 days after returning home. Whilst I appreciate they need guarantees I am a student and £140 is a significant amount of money that I could have used on my holiday with my girlfriend in the city.
9,0 Excellent
Cons: Some additional "city taxes" were added to final price at checkout. Those taxes were not communicated prior to booking.

Pros: The tram is right outside of the hotel. Very convenient for traveling to the train station. There was also a store that was close by as well.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly & helpful we had a tram stop 5 minutes from the hotel that takes you to central Amsterdam you can buy day passes right at the Hotel. The breakfast bar was good but it's not cheap the same goes for the dinner. We ate in small cafes while touring Amsterdam it's a lot cheaper that way.
Cons: No washcloth in the bathrooms they don't use them in Amsterdam so bring your own.Parking was 15 euros per day unless you can find a spot outside.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the USB ports. Nice size room.
Cons: They have computers to check yourself in but they still needed staff to assist. Waste of time. Just have staff assist you to check in with the computer. Same amount of time and manpower.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great as expected
Cons: It does not have a gym
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Great rate (much less than hotels downtown) and included free breakfast, wifi and had friendly helpful people who all spoke English.
Cons: We did not realize that we would have to take a tram to the downtown part of Amsterdam where everything was located. If arriving with suitcase from train station, go out the BACK door of Central station and then go down stairs below and look for Tram 12 to get to hotel (2 stops) If not, it's a 10 min walk but a bit tricky initially to find. To go to the Airport, we had to take Tram 12 to Central Station and then the Train 1 stop to the airport. To go to the area of Amsterdam where most of the museums were, we had to take Tram 12 (near hotel & comes frequently) and then change to Tram 6. Since we were there for only 2 days we'd rather just step outside of our hotel and be in walking distance without public transportation. The hotel is basically in suburbia. (About 15 min or so into the City though.) The only option for dinner is their $29 buffet. There is a restaurant 5 min away, Cafe Pistau though that is excellent).
9,6 Excellent
Pros: it was in a quiet area, the tram is right outside and the hotel sell passes to get into the centre. I would stay here again!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was so lovely, i went for my 27th birthday with 3 friends. The room was very clean, the staff were so helpful. Its also got great transport links to the central area. A 10-minute walk to the station, and a 5 minute train ride to the central station. Highly recommend!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing
Cons: Great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is awesome, ca. 20 mins to the old city with tram, tram station is just few steps away from hotel, if you come back late after 1:00 in the night, there is a bus connected Breakfast is good, 15 euro is cheap for Amsterdam..
Cons: Actually no
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, one not so friendly but hey! This is Amsterdam! The rest more than made up for her. Very clean. Very modern. Very COMFORTABLE. Transportation into city center was not bad at all with bus and tram station nearby and a main train station within a 12 minute walk. Pay for breakfast, pricey but worth it.
Cons: Everything was great, I plan to return and recommend to all my friends and family.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, quiet, helpful staff
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: The breakfast and it price, over priced
6,8 Good
Pros: The bed was good. The room was quiet. The location is good. The manager of the business center (Hildegard) was very helpful.
Cons: I am lifetime Platinum and stayed three nights (paying cash). The front desk gave me a very small basic room. It was very uncomfortable. There was only one drawer for clothing. The closet was tiny. There was no desk (but they brought up a temporary desk at my request, and apparently a lot of guests request them.). The executive lounge was very crowded and very noisy with literally no place to sit down. This is because no one checks the credentials of visitors, so it seems that half of the guest at the hotel went there every day for breakfast and evening snacks. There was no way to hang laundry to dry in the shower area of the bathroom. The WiFi was awful--kept shutting down.
10,0 Excellent
