The hotel was exactly what we wanted. Location is everything and the NH City Centre was quiet at night but walkable everywhere we wanted to be. Pros (+) Location. The staff. The room was spacious and well maintained, clean with great ciew of the canal. My was a superior triple room.
Cons (-) A bit noisy if you leave the windows opened, but you can close them and that cuts off some of the noise; it is city center after all.

Pros (+) Very central location, a few minute walk from Dam square. We had a superior double room, which was spacious and very nicely finished. The bathroom was also very nice. For breakfast, there is a wide range available - cooked, pastries, breads, fruits and yoghurts etc etc....
Cons (-) Room was located on the ground floor which meant it was a little noisey - but you can't have a central location and no noise!

Pros (+) This is the place to stay for visitors to Amsterdam. Great location near everything. Great restaurants and bars near by. One of the better coffee shops and smart shops just a minute away.
