Pros: We stayed here because it is close to friends we were visiting. The room was sufficiently comfortable that we overslept! I had forgotten what a Scottish breakfast is like and was extremely pleased to have one. The parking is very handy.
Cons: We didn't appear on time for breakfast which may have been an inconvience for our hostess. However, we never expected to oversleep and that we did was a compliment to the quietness and comfort of the accommodations.

Pros: Very nice rooms and beds. Breakfast was delicious too. Nice and warm owners who share info on the area. Recommend to stay.
Cons: Nothing to complain about.

Pros: Overall style was lovely. The shower was powerful and the towels super soft, lots of thoughtful toiletries. The tea and coffee making was great with sweeties and homemade banana loaf-yes! The lounge with the log burner was a fantastic bonus, loads of interesting books and a great C.D. and D.V.D. collection. Breakfast choice was excellent and beautifully prepared. A fantastic location with very convenient private parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and meeting the very friendly owners. See you again.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and would very much recommend
Cons: Not happy with the fact we booked a family room for me and my brother in law, and expected at least 2 single beds. Insteas we had one double bed, and the fix to this was for a fold down camp bed to be setup. I was disappointed as we appeared to be the only ones staying, so there was at least one spare room available.

4,0 Okay
Pros: beer was not too bad and the bar staff were the only saving grace
Cons: mattress very poor, room very hot and uncomfortable, breakfast was greasy and only just warm, parking was 150 metres away in an out of sight, public, limited time car park, Can not recommend this place...

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spotless. Great atmosphere in the bar. Friendly staff and great breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room in a great little town.
7,1 Good
Cons: The room was clean and comfortable but not warm and welcoming - a bit spartan.Breakfast served in a dark booth at the rear of the bar. Food was fine but the service perfunctory. No one welcomed us or asked if we were ok with everything - nor did they ask us if we’d enjoyed our stay. Felt like we were an inconvenience.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was lovely. The hotel was warm & clean. There was no noise to disturb us from the bar thanks to glass & doors on each floor.
Cons: The room could have had an other chair and a small table so we could have our coffees together while watching TV.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good spacious rooms that were spotless. Food was good too. Staff were very pleasant even although they were very busy.
Cons: Dining area was rather dark and would have preferred a bit more lighting in it. Quite a lot of stairs up to rooms especially if you have any mobility issues.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, nice staff and clean, modern room.
Cons: Nothing.
7,0 Good
Pros: Food good, esp breakfast. Friendly helpful staff.
Cons: "Free parking" was simply street roadside or in adjacent Coop car park. Entry to hotel was also exit door for bar and frequented by smokers.

7,9 Good
Pros: We found it rather expensive for the quality of room, furnishings and facilities on offer.
Cons: Wi fi wasn't working.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Food was good
4,6 Okay
Pros: The hotel is in a great position on the banks of Loch Tay. It has a large bar restaurant area and a full menu with lots of options. There is a tv room downstairs for guests if you want a bit of extra room or are meeting friends. The hotel has just 5 rooms and a family run feel to it.
Cons: The room smelled slightly of cigarette smoke, the smell transferred to my bag and clothes meaning it came home with me. The key issue was the electrics; the kettle in the room kept tripping the fuse for the whole floor. It took me 6 resets at the fuse box to boil a kettle. I booked a b&b basis but breakfast started after I needed to check out. The owner told me he wasn't getting up early to accommodate me but I could have a packed lunch if I wanted. Like others have said, staff were a little surly but well intentioned. The shower ran out of hot water the night I arrived. The morning I left the water was warm, not hot. No one was around to ask about the electrics or water issue on the morning I checked out. One night here was £75 for a small double on a b&b basis. For me this wasn't value for money.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The location was perfect for the hill-walking we planned to do, which was our only reason to use this hotel. The woman behind the bar who greeted us and checked us in when we arrived was welcoming and helpful. Pub-grub dinner and real ale was OK. Breakfast was fine. Car parking was useful.
Cons: The male owner who dealt with breakfast seemed quite cheerless and grumpy. The room (and whole hotel) is a bit like stepping back into the 80's - drab, run-down and needing some TLC. The bathroom was particularly shabby (broken taps / black mould marks on bath surround tiles / floor tiles loose). One significant complaint is that, although there was a bath (which I was looking forward to enjoying in the morning), the hot water very quickly ran cold, meaning I could not have a bath and instead had to settle for a cold shower. When I told the owner, he expressed surprise and explained that maybe another guest had a bath that morning and used up all the hot water - no word of apology though. Not good value for money, compared to some very recent experience elsewhere.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location for “Munro-bagging”. Very friendly team, lovely log burning stove (perfect recuperation in front of it with a pint). All set up for Halloween - wish I could have stayed longer!

Pros: The view.
Cons: Wrong questionnaire. This is geared towards the Hotel complex only, no mention of Margmore Cottage,. No mention in the listing that it was not part of the complex, we only found that out when we were handed a small map at check-in with the headline: it is advisable to have a 4x4 vehicle to get to it. And, oh boy, could we have done with one. Your listing for this place needs changing

Pros: Everything about our stay was amazing. The scenery is beautiful. The room was very comfortable. Great bed. Nice spacious bathroom. Breakfast was very nice with choices and hot fresh food.
Cons: There was nothing not to like

Pros: Don’t want to say too many good things as don’t want people to book here when we want to return ! Being selfish that is! this place was brilliant and for families almost everything has been thought of, and noted if disabled etc things thought of well there on ground floor. Really thought from start to finish this place was a great place to stay and visit the highlands from.
Cons: Only couple slight improvements recommended - visible to see guide on taps and drinking water above sink in kitchen recommended and similar guide for bins - is in the guide to be fair but on wall by them is useful. Very minor things only.
