8,0 Excellent
Cons: Mattress much too hard. Shower dirty and leaking over floor. Menus a disgrace to French culinary art.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: The room was not clean. There were stale urine stains around the toilet pedestal. Dirty screwed up tissues down behind the sofa bed. The restaurant was shut due to the current virus crisis but what was offered for room service was basically poor quality: factory produced vegetable stew heated up and served in its original jar with the product labels stuck to them. Expensive and NOT acceptable. When I complained they offered me a 10% discount, which given what we had experienced was derisory.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean tidy modern
Cons: A room booked for 4 people, but only had 2 towels. Hot drinks only had 1 of each tea bag and only 2 small milks.
6,0 Good
Pros: breakfast was excellent location fine
Cons: the room was small and the loo bowl needed to changed as it was stained although clean .
7,9 Good
Pros: The staff at the front desk were exceptional. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Parking was good, outdoor but gated covered by cctv and very secure. Excellent games area for families which was very clean.... little play kitchen, building blocks, computer games and a football table. Nice tea and coffee station brilliant if getting in the road early. Breakfast was good, although scrambled egg on the buffet station was tepid. Good selection available- cereal, yogurts, fruit, juices, cold meats, cheeses, breads, waffles, pastries, cakes and a hot selection. Room service also available. We had a family room and king room. Room was as described with double bed and sofa bed set up. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and slopped / tipped towards the head end.
Cons: Perhaps we are difficult to please when it comes to cleanliness. The sheets, bed and surfaces were very clean. There was however mildew evident in the shower and cobwebs in the hard to reach corners of the hotel room. Felt the quality of the room was below the 4 star rating.
7,1 Good
Pros: Lovely stopover on route to Calais, nice little pool to refresh in & friendly bar/outside seating area to relax before last leg of journey. Would recommend.

1,0 Poor
Pros: I booked 3 rooms via booking . Com and there was only one available - disgusting
Cons: Your companies and Ibis unprofessional approach
5,0 Okay
Pros: Bed good, shower good, heat good
Cons: We drove around for 30 minutes trying to find it from the SAT NAV address. It was virtually impossible to find.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, plenty of free parking, easy to find
Cons: Room smelled of cigarettes, very noisy, very thin walls, dirty toilet
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: some lights not working
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was rather small, but did have great croissants. I wish there were eggs available, but was content with the small breakfast.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Good check in at late hour
Cons: We had a room that was literally in the reception area. I think it was designed for disabled clients which was not a problem but the cleanliness of the room was poor, the toilet was very badly stained, there is mould on the bathroom walls. The blind in the room was broken and therefore not able to close. The standard was nothing like as good as the Ibis at Limoges which we visited earlier in our trip and was the reason we booked this Ibis.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly adequate for a short stay. The breakfast was very good with an excellent buffet choice. The parking are was secure and well lit. Overall very good value for money.
Cons: The hotel looked a little tired. The entrance door did not shut easily and could do with replacing. The rooms need air conditioning units. Although the heating was excellent for my winter visit, in warmer weather I would imagine the rooms would be stuffy as it would not be practical to open the windows especially at the front of the hotel, due to noise from the nearby main road. With the window shut the road could not be heard.

9,4 Excellent
Pros: The staff could not have been more helpful - getting my car which was parked nearby when I checked in, giving directions, pointing our the light show of summer, which turned out to be spectacular..
Cons: It's an old building and a bit faded in part. Not enough plugs for charging all the things we need to charge these days, but that is common in older hotels.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean room. Nice breakfast buffet.
Cons: No complaints.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with parking - fee of 10 euros
Cons: Nothing, was all good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very cosy, the beds were super confortable (we slept like babies), the staff was very welcoming and the spa facilities were great.
Cons: From our room we could hear a bit of noise coming from the corridor and the neighboring rooms but it was very subtle and certainly didn't prevent us from sleeping wonderfully well. Other minor inconvenience there wasn't any towel holder in the bathroom and room so we had no easy way to dry our towels and robes after showering and going to the spa.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent from the moment we walked through the door. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The suite was lovely, spacious and beautifuly designed. The location was absolutely perfect, walking distance to the cathedral and to the center.

7,0 Good
Pros: Room was basic but had all we needed. Breakfast ok but the fresh fruit salad was a little tired. Black cherry jam was lovely.
Cons: All seemed ok to us.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Even though they were refurbishing the reception, conference rooms and kitchen we were well looked after and the staff were very helpful as is usual
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great refurbished restaurant.
Cons: The wash basin in the room did not provide any hot water plus there was no plug to fill the basin. The water came out at a fast rate as it was an auto tap with one rate of flow so it splashed all over my clothes. The manager told me to run the tap for at least 3 minutes but the water was still stone cold. It was a disabled room and I don’t like the wet room facility.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Coffee and tea facilities in room. Good value for money.
Cons: Only three pillows instead of four for two people.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean great location great value and comfy bed Love that you can take the dog
Cons: The bathroom sink is leaking from underneath and the shower also needs attention
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location on the edge of the city is good and quiet. The beds were as comfortable as ever. The restaurant was being refurbished so we could not experience dinner but breakfast was good and plentiful.
Cons: The Campanile booking system needs to be clearer about what you are reserving. Pictures show a double bed and a normal single bed next to each other but in reality the second bed is a small child-sized one which slides out from under the double bed. Fortunately a very helpful receptionist sorted us out when we arrived. The rooms are in need of refurbishment too. A large panel in the shower was cracked badly and the duvet had two cigarette burns in it.

Pros: Close to Chartres cathedral is a plus
7,5 Good
Pros: Art Deco
Cons: The fabulous food in the restaurant
4,0 Okay
Pros: I liked the architecture of the building snd the view feom my room.
Cons: The welcome was very negative. I called the hotel on my way many times to ask if there was a parking possibility but couldn’t get anybody to answer my phone. When at last I had an answer and I complained about that the gentleman at the reception was very disagreeable. His excuse was that he was alone so that he couldn’t answer. I can not take this as a reasonable answer from a receptionist. Then the computer didn’t work when checking my booking. All these things might have happened but it could have been handled with less attitude and with more kindness. And finally I found a used man’s underwear in my wardrobe which was forgotten by the previous guest.

4,0 Okay
Cons: someone had been sick outside the room the sick had been cleared but the carpet had not been cleaned so there was an bad smell that remained in our room
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location, access to a restaurant, easy parking
Cons: Check in clerk was very abrupt, even though I was staying 2 nites and had a request. Bathroom had horrible smells coming from pipes on first morning, that afternoon and a bit the 2nd nite. Door to bathroom had big chucks out of it, room was very dark. There must be a new chef as the assortment and quality of the food was not appealing. I arrived at breakfast the first morning 10 after nine and was told breakfast was over. Granted, I was a bit late but the breakfast stayed on the bar the entire time I had my 2 cups of coffee. What a waste for the hotel. I have stayed in this hotel probably 20 times and have never encountered this type of service or standards.

Cons: Being renovated during our stay without prior notice
7,9 Good
Pros: The room was newly renovated and view of Chartres Cathedral was a bonus. The location was convenient and parking on site was appreciated.
Cons: The other floors were under renovation (during off season) so weekday noise and lack of WiFi made it a 'challenging' stay. Breakfast was only passable but staff were helpful and did their best.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Dirty linen hadn’t been removed from room. Staff a bit humourless when we arrived. No information folder in room. Was surprised by the 8 euro parking charge but that was probably my oversight.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very Good for: Parking. Staff. Comfortable room. Bed. Shower. Location. Nice size of hotel.

3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Reasonable
Cons: Ordered wine in a carafe. We found a foreign body floating on the top. Complained and cancelled. No apology from the staff at all. Ordered water 'twice' from different waiters. None arrived. We found also that we had been charged for this wine !!!. It was cancelled but again no apology. We also left a mains adapter in a socket. We contacted the hotel and was told we would have to pay nearly 13 Euros for it's return. They need to be educated on customer care.

Pros: Fantastic location, secure parking, pleasant staff. My room was nice with a great view of the cathedral which was a quick walk. Reserve the parking when you book.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location excellent very central and underground parking opposite
Cons: Very small bathroom
8,0 Excellent
Pros: All perfect for a night’s stay to visit the Cathedral and eat out.
Cons: Plug in bathroom didn’t work!! Minor problem.
7,5 Good
Pros: Welcoming reception, great bar with cocktails if you wish. Restaurant served tasty food with efficient service.
Cons: The bathroom was a little cramped and bath very small
7,0 Good
Pros: Efficiently sized twin room with small bathroom. Shower was a bit cramped but otherwise fine. Lift is tiny - big enough for one person and a modestly sized bag - so you'll be using the stairs most likely. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet.
Cons: Nothing really to gripe about. Breakfast was a bit pricey at €10/person, so we made the most of it. Hotel parking isn't clear because they have limited spaces - stopping to drop bags off at the hotel and find this information out is almost impossible so just ended up parking in the cathedral parking - which costs more for a typical overnight stay.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The croissants were perfect. Only in France do they make Croissants that good!
Cons: The hotel was professionally managed. The staff were kind and helpful. The location was within easy walking distance of the Cathedral through beautiful safe streets. The view from our room of the Cathedral was magnificent. The parking was close and reasonably priced. All in all a first rate Hotel!
6,7 Good
Pros: Two positives: it’s very close to the cathedral; the pillows were above average for a European hotel (where they can often be as thin as a wafer.
Cons: No AC. Really? It’s 95 degrees out and 90 in the room at 11 pm. Open a window and hear the scooters, smell the diesel. We cut our two-night stay short and moved to a hotel with AC. Also, why do hotels insist on this stupid quilt-in-a-sheet thing when it’s 95 degrees outside (and nearly that inside)? What kind of creature do they think sleeps in their rooms? The rooms are small and a bit tired. No parking space available, despite my having reserved one. Had to go back and forth to the front desk numerous times to to make sure the spot I actually parked in was going to be okay.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for exploring Chartres, very clean and comfortable room albeit a little small although not an issue. Restaurant looked good but we didn’t try as fully booked. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: If you want to be able to look out your window and feel you could touch the walls of Chartres Cathedral, then this is the place! We were in the spacious attic room that takes a few flights of stairs to reach but well worth it. The staff won our hearts when they grabbed our heavy luggage for us and trudged up the steps. The restaurants along the street were great and reasonably priced.
Cons: Some construction at the hotel made the GPS rather worthless.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A historic house directly on the Cathedral square, with stunning view of the cathedral. We had an elegant two room suite decorated like an eighteenth century drawing room.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location location location. Super staff fun old building. NOT your run-of-the-mill modern day hotel. Amazing breakfast. Look out the window of our room right onto the cathedral
9,0 Excellent
Pros: A very atmospheric old building near the cathedral, charming staff and easy parking included at the cathedral car park
Cons: No complaints
9,0 Excellent
Pros: This boutique hotel is next door to the famous Chartres Cathedral and right in the center of town. It's an easy walk to several local restaurants and bars. The staff was super helpful helping us haul our luggage up two narrow flights of stairs. The room decor was eclectic, but very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a separate water closet which makes it convenient for a couple sharing a bathroom. It has excellent lighting. The breakfast was outstanding! Great coffee, lovely pastries and a variety of cheeses and meats with fresh squeezed orange juice. Well worth the price.
Cons: Just be aware that this is a tiny hotel. The proprietors go home for the evening and your only entrance & exit is from a second story door. It's not difficult. Just be sure you understand how it works. Also, the parking is in a municipal garage a short walk from the hotel. Given the one way & narrow streets it's a lot longer drive to the garage than a walk.

Pros: Comfortable bed, modern bathroom, mini fridge, quirky door locks
Cons: I could see where it could be noisy, but for us the street was quiet, so we had a great night's sleep

Pros: Quirky, Art Deco. Great breakfast. Very helpful friendly staff.
5,6 Okay
Pros: Great location, excellent room, very good breakfast, value for money. But see below.
Cons: We booked a room for the night of 16 December 2010. We went out to dinner in the evening. When we returned, at about 9.30pm, the hotel was locked and there was nobody there. It transpired that we were the only residents and the staff had left for the night. It was raining very hard and extremely cold. After much banging at the front door, which was fruitless, we went to a neighbouring restaurant. An extremely pleasant young man there (at Le Bistrot de la Cathedrale) contacted the Parvis staff who told him we should use our room key. Long story short, the key did not work. Finally the staff member turned up and let us in, acknowledging that it was the front door lock which did not work. It was by now sub-zero temperature. Not happy.

6,3 Good
Pros: We stayed for two nights with a view to visiting the cathedral and old town at our leisure, so the location was ideal. The hotel is of interesting character, where uneven floors and doors which don't quite fit properly are all part of its quirky charm. Our room, Les Louis, was warm and comfortable, with a novel shower and a surprise kitchenette in a cupboard. Internet access was fine. We were given a friendly reception by the proprietor, and we enjoyed reasonably priced, unpretentious meals on both evenings. A plentiful, traditional breakfast was served.
Cons: On arrival, we had to unblock the sink in the bathroom. The lighting was dim, making it difficult to read. Not the hotel's fault, but parking is at a premium in Chartres. We could possibly have used the nearby underground car-park, at the hotel's expense, but chose not to risk it because of our vehicle's height. Luckily, we found a space just outside, but feeding the meter was not cheap.

Cons: No complaints
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful oasis of stylish calm; beautifully presented and a warm and civilised welcome; breakfast was in an enchanting dining room and delightful. An excellent find and great centre for exploring Chartres and around.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, very close to the historic part of Chartres is ideal for walking tours (which is the only practical way to explore Chartres anyway), but the setting remains very peaceful. There is ample parking - which is rare in the centre of town. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed both large and extremely comfortable. The bathroom a generous size with plenty of water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was superb - a traditional french affair, but with added dates, apricots and nuts. Fresh croissants, good coffee, tea and yoghurt were accompanied by a range of tasty preserves.
Cons: The shower head leaks somewhat and needs replacing. The bedside lamps do not work if the 'side tables' are slid out from behind the headboard. These are minor points - but worth attending to.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to town, but quiet and lovely grounds. Tasty breakfast, gracious hosts.
Cons: No improvements suggested. All was good.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was lovely, and the overall property was very well appointed. The location was a 5 minute walk to the cathedral and surrounding restaurants and shops.
Cons: There was no signage for the Hotel, we circled the neighborhood and finally had to get out and walk up and down the street. A little sign said ring for Clos de Chedeville. Once we rang, someone said "J'Arrive", and we waited for almost five minutes for someone to come. It's obvious this is not their main business. There were spiders and bugs all around the room. The bed was not comfortable. Excepts for at breakfast there was no one around to talk to about the neighborhood, restaurants and directions. We were on our own. Very disappointed in this location. Every other property we have stayed at has been great.

Pros: Location was very good. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable and when we opened the curtains in the morning it was like being in the countryside - chickens and ducks in the lovely garden. The breakfast was excellent and it was served in an amazing dining room, Our host was very welcoming and we would definitely recommend her property to any one visiting the charming city of Chartres.
