Cons:
We dropped the car at the train station in Chartres. There were no directions in our rental agreement as to where the office was, other than the train station address. It turns out there were specific parking places in the train parking garage and we were to turn keys into the train ticketing office! (our hotel called Avis on our behalf since our French language skills are not good to obtain this info)Hertz
