The hotel is within a short walk of the cathedral which was our main reason to be in Chartres, so it was a convenient walk to the city center. We found everyone in the hotel to be friendly and welcoming. In the evening we ate in the seafood restaurant in the hotel, L'Ecume, and the dinner was excellent.
