Location. Wanted to go to Pitlochry Festival Theatre that evening; Aberfeldy is only 20 minutes away.
Design of room a bit strange (you have to climb 7 stairs to get to bathroom). Suspect some rooms have been "sacrificed" to allow other rooms to become en-suite. Woke up to No Power! The energy company was blamed. No fun showering/shaving in semi-darkness! No bath towels on arrival, had to wait till they were washed.

The location was great and you can see the efforts the owners have made to the Hotel. The location is ideal. Central of the town, and easy access
The bed sheets didn't cover the whole mattress and there was no mattress protectors which is a must and basic in any hotel bed. The quilt cover had a smell to it. there was no running hot water even after running it for over half an hour. the water pressure was terrible, and in the morning there was no power on our floor but was in the lower levels. Overall it served a purpose for the one night we stayed, but wouldn't book here again, unless thing improved significantly
