Cons: "We were packed like sardines! My flight made me want to retire from traveling!"
Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "No WiFi on a 12 hour flight, but we could all see the full signal WiFi for the crew, aptly named. LXCrew. Awful to see them using WiFi when we are unable."
Pros: "The business class ground crew proposed to check in our hand baggage and were very helpful. (We were in economy class) It was my birthday and i was very touched to receive a spontaneously made card and some chocolate truffles and a smile from the flight crew."
Cons: "I think the choice of films could be improved."
Cons: "We didn't fly to Zurich. Instead, we flew from Berlin to Frankfurt to San Francisco to San Diego. Although the alternate airlines did a fine job and we had nice flights thanks to them, we only found out about the change when we arrived at the airport and it caused us multiple inconveniences throughout the day. Our flight from Berlin to Zurich was scheduled to board at 9am, so we left our accommodations at 6:30am so we could arrive at the airport around 7am. It was a rushed, hectic morning and we stayed up late preparing for it the best we could. When we arrived and found out our flight was canceled, we learned our new flight wouldn't board until 11am. So we rushed for no reason and had to spend a considerable amount of extra time at the airport that we could have spent enjoying coffee one last time at a local cafe or something. We planned to fly straight from Zurich to San Diego so we could participate in an interview for our Global entry application (which you can only do when arriving in the US from an international flight). Because we had a brief layover in San Francisco instead, we had no time for this and were unable to do the interview when we arrived in San Diego because it was a domestic flight. The change also caused issues with our luggage. We're not used to checking bags when we fly OR flying internationally with layovers in the US, so we asked the agent at the Swiss desk in Berlin how it would would with both of those aspects in our travel with the itinerary changes. The agent told us our luggage would follow us all the way to San Diego and we didn't have to worry about it. However, we learned once we got to San Diego that our bags were left in San Francisco because apparently we were supposed to pick them up and recheck them, but we had no idea. It was a huge bummer and we wish we would have had more control over our itinerary that day. People book certain flights for certain reasons and need to have a say when their flights need to change."
Pros: "Good seats for my wife and i: window and aisle seat"
Cons: "Only glass of water free...coffee is 3.50"
Pros: "The movies were good, the food was good. Servers were kind and helpful. Clean and overall positive flight."
Cons: "Several delays and gate changes."
Pros: "Everything went smoothly on the rebooked flight the next day through Vienna to Newark USA. The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."
Cons: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."
Pros: "I fell asleep during the meal service and there was not a vegetarian option left over but the crew was SUPER and brought me some other snacks and made my day. Thanks!"
Pros: "Boarding was quick and efficient"
Cons: "Nothing I can think of was bad just a regular fight."
Pros: "See / hear the middle-aged guy around seat 22 aisle coughing his lungs out throughout the 10 hour flight without once covering his mouth ? WTF is going on w an airline that would let a passenger behave like this ? Didn’t see the attendants offering a cough drop, or asking if he would please behave like a civilized human being. Looking for others corroboration. Spread the word like this guy this w his germs"
Cons: "A grown man coughing loudly during a 10 hr flight w/o once covering his mouth"
Pros: "The staff were helpful. The entertainment had good variety. Adjustable head rest was useful."
Cons: "The seat was a little lumpy. More leg room would always be appreciated."
Pros: "Virgin Atlantic is the best airline I’ve ever flown on internationally. The service is wonderful, from check in to inflight service. Everything went as planned. The food and drinks on board are free and they are an abundance of snacks, much more than we dreamed. The flight attendants are excellent"
Cons: "No. Keep up the good work!"
Pros: "There was one stewardess that really made the trip feel less "restricted" in the way she would greet, talk, serve, and just being what I always experienced good international flight staff to be. I wish I was able to get her name so I can praise the airlines for hiring such a great staff like her."
Pros: "The crew was outstanding and the good choices were excellent"
Cons: "The flight was late( not their fault) and there were several technical difficulties with the A/C and entertainment system"
Pros: "We liked everything about our Virgin Atlantic flight. They could not have been more helpful from the time we got our Boarding passes in London until we got off the plane in Washington DC."
Cons: "There was nothing to dislike on this part of our trip with Virgin Atlantic."
Pros: "The flight crew was phenomenal, especially Daniella. Somehow we wound up with seats right next to the bathroom door, which would have been a pretty uncomfortable situation for a variety of reasons, but the flight wasn't full, and she helped us find a suitable place to sit. Also, my wife and I usually take our tea with honey vs. milk and sugar. Even though honey is usually one of the options for tea, she found a way to accommodate our request. The lunch meals were the best I can remember in a long time on an airline flight. They might have been the best I've ever had. The chicken curry was authentic, flavorful and spicy. Frankly my outbound flight had problems. My luggage got damaged. The transfer experience in Manchester left a LOT to be desired. I wasn't planning to use Virgin Atlantic again, but this flight crew (Daniella especially) redeemed Virgin Atlantic. They were attentive, pleasant, diligent."
Cons: "Only thing I didn't like about this flight was the boarding area. Once you get into that the area, you don't really have access to appetizing food (only vending machines) or even restrooms. That's one thing that could be improved."
Pros: "While seats were close together (little knee space), the plane was 1/2 full, so lots of space in adjoining seats. Nice crew."
Cons: "Delay in boarding - not clear why. Can never get the wireless entertainment system to work."
Pros: "The crew were friendly."
Cons: "The food was okay. There were more tasty options traveling to Heathrow versus from Heathrow to the NYC. The boarding process was a mess. We had to wait in an enormous line and then take a bus to the flight."
Pros: "We paid extra for exit row seats so we had good leg space"
Cons: "The seats are so small that only your backside fits on it and we are not big people. There is no support for the thigh and I had severe cramps after leaving the aircraft. The flight to LA with Virgin Australia was far more comfortable."
Pros: "Flew virgin after long time and kind of disappointment with comfortable seats. seats space is tight and legs space as well with some box under the seat."
Cons: "seat comfortable and let space"

Everything in general was great, but we left 30 minutes late

Pros: "The best airline ever! Super friendly crew and staff, great customer service and nice planes. Love KLM!"
Pros: "Pumpkin soup instead of a heavy entree was welcome and tasty. Breakfast yogurt portion was generous, the granola less so. Accompaniments were good. Butter was not ice cold, thank goodness."
Cons: "Inbelievably chaotic boarding process for Kili to Dar leg. No boarding lanes so had to fight through the crowd. Was able to observe cleaning process at Dar stop, which was cursory and am sure there was no cleaning of seats of those who boarded at Kili."
Cons: "When its rain we shouldn’t walk to the air plain"
Pros: "Flight was on time."
Cons: "Staff: from check in to landing, they could at least smile. Baggage claim was a nightmare, 6 Schengen flights in the same belt."
Pros: "Great crew."
Cons: "Ran out of business class meal. Substituted a Econ class."
Cons: "We had 4 hour delay causing a stop over at 3am. So yeah"
Cons: "Lost a single baggage item, a car seat. Critical for us to leave the airport, and delayed us for over an hour upon arrival. Gave us a loaner car seat that barely fit our child."
Pros: "well mannered and attentive crew - good supply of complimentary food/drink - good over all comfort"
Cons: "boarding was running very far behind - considering this is mainly a hub operations carrier - resulted in several passengers missing their connecting flights -"
Pros: "Seat space a bit tight . I should have upgraded to more leg room . Next time!"

It would be much improved if the crew didn't force me to ride with my seatback up on an eight hour flight. What’s the point of a reclining seat if you’re forced to sit in the fetal position?

The flight was delayed by an hour. We had a connection in Frankfort continue to JFK. After boarding, we heard that the Tower had put us on hold. We waited another hour before taking off. We missed our connection had to stay at a hotel woke up at 4:30 to make our rebook. Instead of being home on Sat at 8pm, we arrived on Sunday 2pm. On 4 hours sleep. Great !! I would like to avoid Lufthansa at all costs. They did not stand up for their screwup on the delay.

Pros: "Crew could have been a little more friendly. Seating was great"
Cons: "Had a 3 he delay due to technical issues on the aircraft.. this was the third time it happened in the last four months"
Pros: "Crew was great."
Cons: "The layover time was too close for FRA. By the time everyone deplaned and was shuttled to the terminal by a bus it was already my boarding time. I had to rush through the passport control feeling nervous The seat pitch of the flight was narrow. I could not use my laptop once the person in front of me reclined."
Cons: "There were a couple of flight delays. Other that that, I love Lufthansa."
Pros: "The boarding was a pleasant experience and we got to check in our hand luggage."
Cons: "The vegetarian food options were a little strange."
Pros: "The problem was with the booking, cancelled flights- under stable- but nobody willing to make it right. Flights still screwed up"
Cons: "Give some customer service to your paying customers. Don't make a bad situation worse. Practice a can do attitude. Very disappointed in customer service. Not the flight itself."
Pros: "Staff were excellent. Helped me with storing my insulin in the fridge."
Cons: "Departing the plane into steps to z bus carrying heavy bags with no help."
Pros: "Nice entertainment selection"
Cons: "Too many snacks, food was low quality, flight was delayed with no reason given,"
Pros: "The red wine was good and the crew made sure that we were well hydrated. The flight was very smooth."
Cons: "The quality of the meals was poor - tasteless food, possibly loaded with preservatives."
Pros: "The crew was very attentive and willing to assist with everything."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Really old plane with uncomfortable seats and really bad in flight options. The air conditioning was also broken so the entire flight felt hot and muggy, this is on a 12 hour flight!!"
Pros: "Plane changed to an A380"
Cons: "Waited over half an hour to get off at Heathrow owing to staff shortage so the air bridge took a while to happen!"
Pros: "We got to our destination"
Cons: "They don’t even give you a cup of water, a horrible low cost airline with premium pretences! Gatwick is a horrible airport to fly to."
Cons: "Should have the seat assignments opened in advance for international passengers, especially who paid for business class."
Pros: "Polite crew"
Cons: "The food, inflight entertainment. Our flight was delayed by over an hour."
Pros: "We pushed back from the gate about 24 minutes late and arrived at our destination about 38 minutes late. The four-course dinner (Chicken Tikka Masala or Penne Pasta) was good for airline food. The crew was friendly and professional."
Cons: "No USB power ports by the seats."
Pros: "New plane and boarding was a breeze."
Cons: "Had to pay for any food and drinks. No entertainment but very short flight."
Pros: "Crew in club was excellent. Could not ask for more."
Cons: "Ground staff absolutely unorganised and rude. Boarding a complete shambles. No announcement, no group and priority boarding. This resulted in us losing our a slot and the flight to be delayed by almost an hour. One would think they have never boarded a plane before."
Pros: "Nice service. On time."
Cons: "Buses at each airport to get plane. Multiple waits in customs lines when travelling within Europe."
