"This is the worst flight experience"

Cons: "Nice work"

Pros: "I like how the crow did help me with my dizziness and provided me with an extra oxygen to breath better."
Cons: "I don’t know, but I always find it difficult with food smells, then make me sick and did today in the flight"

Pros: "Qatar Airways are still flying, in the midst of Coronavirus, unlike their competitors. This is fantastic! Onboard, there was a full service and excellent crew, all through the night, unlike their competitors during the early days of Coronavirus, when I last flew. Thank you. Qatar Airways"
Cons: "The movie selection, although vast, was not great. I resorted to downloaded Netflix on my tablet."

Pros: "Very helpful and kind crew. On time boarding and departure."
Cons: "If the crew cleaned the toilet more often and picked up trash from passengers and worked faster."

Pros: "Crew AMAZING. Service was impeccable. Food and wine were interesting and varied. Absolutely amazing comfort."
Cons: "Media choices were not interesting to me. Used my own device instead."

Pros: "Every time rest room sanitized for every passenger, onetime boarding and departure"
Cons: "Food menu is very basics, same food again and again. Also the number of items is very limited, heavy sound in the flight, not able to sleep."

Cons: "Food"

Pros: "The crew, Venyat looking after my aisle was exemplary. He kept note of when I was asleep when the service passed through. Whenever I go to the galley, he would notice and asked if I needed anything. And this is in Economy!"
Cons: "On the A350, the seat doesn't recline much. It was quite uncomfortable."

Pros: "Very efficient and comfortable flight."
Cons: "The airline appears to have done away with the courtesy pack, and this was the one time I was travelling without ear plugs!"

Cons: "At Mumbai airport, during check-in I was told that my carry on bag plus personal item together should weigh not more than 7kgs!! I have never had any airline actually weigh my personal item (laptop backpack) before this journey. Eventually I ended up stuffing my check-in bags with everything I was carrying in my carry on bag before I was allowed to check in. The weird thing is, I was never told about this rule on my journey from the US to India."

Pros: "The airlines' film library offers plenty of movies to watch."
Cons: "I had an aisle seat. The crew pushed the service carts in the gangway and hit me a couple of times, and I was very much annoyed because I was waken up while asleep."

Pros: "Flight was 80% empty, but it was amazing anyway, slept through most of it"
Cons: "Staff constantly woke me up for snacks and drinks, which is good on one hand but I was sleeping so deep that it was a bit annoying."

Pros: "Great aircraft"

Pros: "Great crew and food served was nice for airline food."
Cons: "You need to bring a snack with you. This is a 16 hour flight and there is a long time between their food services. 2 meals and one snach"

Pros: "Everything....The service, the food, the in-flight entertainment(so many films to chose from) the flight attendants were brilliant, the flight was smooth it went by so fast as though time didn't exist.I recommend Qatar Airways to everybody."
Cons: "Can't find any fault...Sorry!"

Pros: "Super check in, great entertainment options"
Cons: "Cabin crew were not very helpful. Food was average at best."

Pros: "Excellent service from check in to disembarkation. I was surprised at the amount of leg room, as being a 6+ footer it has always previously been an issue, but not with Qatar."
Cons: "Only downside was the lack of the free traveller pack, eye shade and ear plugs, sleep was denied as I could not block out the sound of the very talkative travellers behind me."

Pros: "All good thank you + food and crew and entertainment"
Cons: "All good thanks"

Pros: "The overall experience"

Pros: "everything"
Cons: "nothing"

Pros: "On time flights, orderly boarding, plenty of room for carry on luggage, no overcrowding, connection through Doha airport was nice as it is not crowded and has plenty of shopping options."
Cons: "Too many crying babies on board, food was just okay, crew were also just okay, entertainment system didn’t always work, cut out well before landing and took forever to reset."

Pros: "very nice crew please have good dessert"

Pros: "Films Service"
Cons: "Not enough films"

Cons: "Seat number was the same but different position from one reserved online"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Crew is meek and doesn’t smile or try very hard. Flight was FULL of nasty Russian tourists. Miserable experience"

Pros: "Flight was good n easy"

Pros: "the attendants were always on top of things. One of best overall flights ever."

Pros: "Completely satisfied. Excellent all the way!"
Cons: "Everything was perfect. Thank You."

Pros: "Airport staff were friendly, Flight crew were good. I was in an exit row so I can't comment much about normal economy, but my legroom was fine. lots of movies to choose from. Deplaned onto a bus, that took us right to the Transfer Security which saved me a recently long walk."

Pros: "Quite journey"

Pros: "best airline food ever"
Cons: "for an international carrier, leg room is horribly cramped. singapore airlines and qantas offer better leg room in their economy class seats."

Pros: "Their food and crew was good."
Cons: "Seats are very small now and the entainment system was all messed up that day for the whole plane. We were trying to watch something else and system was playing something else."

Cons: "I had 2 checked in luggage, and both TSA lock on it was cut. Since it was TSA lock, I do not understand why both locks were cut instead of being opened with the international key. it cost me 10 USD it for the locks."

Pros: "High quality gluten free meals (best I've had on Qatar Airways)."
Cons: "Seating needs to be more spacious."

Pros: "The crew were nice"
Cons: "The screen of my seat and my mom ( sitting next to me) and the lady near the window stopped working after launching and we had to stair in the dark for eleven hours the flight attendant tried but couldn't fix it. The seat itself was broken and I had to put the bottom Cushing back every time I stand up.the cue to the rest room ( one off them has a broken lock so you can't lock it ) was very long and I had to wait for 25 minutes tell I got in ( the first time I waited too long standing in an air plane )"

Pros: "Flight was good. Cabin crew very good. Food good."
Cons: "Qatar Airways check in at Heathrow was a dis-organised shambles. Arrival at Qatar Airport passport control was even worse at 12.45 am. Long queues, very slow to move, police checking passports unbelievably slowly. Retina scanners should speed up the process. Why then take 5 minutes to check each passport? Poor advert for Qatar, after nearly an hour of queuing I would think most passengers wished they had gone somewhere else."

Pros: "The timing was spot on and I had no major issues. The staff was great. They showed that they truly value customer service and were patient"
Cons: "The song selections were somewhat old and should be looked at."

Pros: "The service was great"
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "On Time good service"
Cons: "Serving alcohol on board"

Cons: "Arrival in Johannesburg was a nightmare due to queues at immigration - I nearly missed my connecting flight."

Pros: "When I missed my connection in Dohar, I was put up in an excellent hotel with all expenses paid and great food."
Cons: "When I arrived late in Doha because my flight from Heathrow was delayed, it was difficult to find help when I was trying to rush to make it in time for my connecting flight to Haneda."

Cons: "You do a sorry job of keeping couples in seated side by side my wife of 3 days wasn't even in the same row and there were at least three other couples that were done the same way y'all need to pay closer attention to the people that are buying your tickets"

Pros: "Good quality aircrafts"
Cons: "There was no non vegetarian meal available."

Cons: "1-one hour delay in departure. Although pilot tries his best to reduce the delay time but still lost our connection flight. it is known that the whole operation is complex but still believe that effective cooperation by flight crew, ground personnel and others could result in a better outcome. the hotel chosen by the office at airport was not satisfactory. Qatar Airways customers deserve better treatment."

Pros: "everything was great. huge seats, large legroom."

Pros: "the comfort of the flight was very good."
Cons: "there could have been a little bit bigger portion of food."

Pros: "The staff was good and food as well had a great trip"

Cons: "Again the menu wasnt good. Also as the plane was smaller the economy was a little claustrophobic"

Pros: "Crew was amazing and aircraft was brand new."

Pros: "Excellent care of crew to ensure social distancing is adhered at all times."

Cons: "I wish the 777 had slightly wider seats like the A380"

Pros: "I had better experience with Emirates before...we had to wait ages for our food but maybe because we were the last one on the list. Food was nice and crew friendly."

Pros: "Comfortable seats, nice entertainment and food"

Pros: "Crew was good, flight was on time."

Cons: "The headset didn’t work properly so had to listen to music and movies through half the earphones."

Pros: "Smooth flight. Attentive crew. Good entertainment options"
Cons: "The toilet had no toilet paper so I used the paper hand towel and prayed it did not block when I flushed. The beef option was not that great. I should've chosen the chicken."

Cons: "Everything was perfect"

Pros: "Everything. Nothing negative."

Pros: "The comfort ,food"
Cons: "Crew was not polite and had an attitude when requests was made."

Cons: "Very good"

Pros: "Emirates is a great airline with friendly staff and an amazing fleet of aircraft"
Cons: "I had updated for my flight from Jeddah to Dubai, but found that business class passengers were not given priority boarding and had to wait for all other passengers to board. The plane also took off late."

Pros: "The overall experience was good from boarding to disembark. emirates is a quality airline with affordable pricing. Planes were neat and clean cabin crew did their job at their best."
Cons: "In some instances their was a shortage of food option. Although the menu said you could have a choice but some of the choices were exhausted by the time crew served it to the half of the travellers and the rest have to eat whatever was leftover. I think Emirates should stock a bit more of the food especially on a plane like Airbus 380. Its a huge aircraft and passengers sting at the vey end had to wait almost 45 min to 1 hr to get their food and that too was whatever leftover. They should make efforts to server all the passengers within a short amount to time rather than keep them waiting for so long. Most of the time more than half of the passengers had already eaten while those sitting in the back were still waiting for their food. Its not cabin crew's inefficiency but rather a policy problem that needs to be addressed."

Pros: "Quantas Operated by Emirates is definitely not Emitrates standard."

Pros: "Everything from food to seating was quite comfortable."
Cons: "Boarding was a bit more difficult since they did not call boarding zones"

Pros: "Food n movie selection"
Cons: "Noisy seat n very less leg room"

Pros: "A380 economy cabin, excellent legroom for a 6"2 bloke like me. Seat was wide enough too. Really good food and a cracking entertainment system. Happily fly them again."

Pros: "It was a smooth and pleasant journey."
Cons: "Menu options were somewhat limited"

Cons: "Too nosiness to hear movie"

Pros: "Great flight even in economy! Two good meals, personal entertainment with close to a 100 movies to select from and great service by the crew."

Pros: "Emirates is still the best option for travel from Seattle to South Asia. Flight time is convenient and boarding process is flawless as always,"
Cons: "In flight meal service and staff attention is not the same as a few years ago. The fees on advance seat selection is ridiculous. After spending close to two grand on a return ticket, Emirates wants me to spend another 40 bucks each way to heya seat of my choice ?"

Cons: "There were not proper announcements for delay of flight. Flight moved from gate while overheads bins doors were still open, lots of passengers were still standing, walking in the aisles. Even though I told Steward not to wake me for the meals but still I was woken up 3 times for two serving of meals."

Cons: "The crew was not friendly and very slow. I was flying with an infant and a child and have had excellent experiences on a number of other less expensive airlines and I am disappointed that I had bad service on Emirates business class."

Cons: "Calling to board.first class. Business. Rewards.. not calling the old people to board first.... my mom is 84 years old by the time she got to her seat row 45 she was exhausted... then we turned the light on she needed water for her medicine... we had to wait 45 minutes because the crew was to busy socializing"

Pros: "Boarding process followed at LHR #3 was well done and organized, made good use of passenger's time. Desk personnel at LHR #3 was professional, as was crew on aircraft into Dubai."
Cons: "No breakfast (had sticker on seat to wake up if needed) and ended up awake whole flight. Flight for LHR to Dubai did not provide breakfast although 1950 -> 0550 red-eye flight"

Pros: "great lie flat bed, was too tired to take advantage of the service"

Pros: "This was my first time getting a bump up to First. Loved the dining options and comfort level. Staff on board were wonderful. Shower a particular novelty but it did perk me up prior to landing."
Cons: "I cannot fault anything about his experience. Simply fantastic."

Pros: "Emirates flight was amazing"
Cons: "Bug in Kayak app cost me £60 through the flight not being confirmed and having to rebook. Be vary wary of the Kayak app."

Pros: "Timing, service, comfort"
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Staff did their best and were polite but ultimately had no solution for the issue"
Cons: "I was unable to get an aisle seat therefore I was stuck in an middle seat. I am rather tall and the man on the window seat was morbidly obese and half of him was sitting on top of me for most of the flight. He also sweated all over me, snoredand snorted for the whole flight. I spent much of the flight standing and now have terrible leg oedema. It was the most uncomfortable flight I've ever been on. the flight was full so there were no reseating options apparently. It was extremely unpleasant."

Pros: "Every thing was good."
Cons: "There was nothing which I disliked."

Pros: "I felt that the crew kind of forgot about us; there were lots of trolleys going by with drinks but each presumed that we had been served. I also felt that the crew in this section weren't friendly. I know it was an extremely busy flight but there wasn't much eye contact with the some of the crew, I felt that the stewards (men) were the least friendly."
Cons: "The food was bland and boring but i do like having real knives and forks. The white wine choice wasnt good. The crew didn't seem that familiar with the types on offer, ie savignon blanc, chardonnay etc. They just handed you the wine and hoped it would be ok. I felt for such a long flight the crew could have announced that if anyone would like extra snax or drinks then feel free to call a member of the crew or even go to the kitchen and ask. Wifi was offered on the flight but it wasn't explained how to use it so I didn't have this facility as I couldn't connect! Once we asked it was explained but I still wasn't able to connect. Would be helpful if this could be explained / announced to the passengers."

Pros: "The crew were friendly."
Cons: "wifi wasn't good - I couldn't connect. Wine choice wasn't good (white). Would have preferred a sav blanc"

Cons: "Too long layover"

Pros: "Safety, on time, A380 is better than B777 (comfort)"
Cons: "Food, i like the hot bread rather than cold bread"

Pros: "Crew v good"
Cons: "Food .. Fish undercooked ... Aircraft bit dated"

Pros: "The A380 was much more comfortable way to fly than the 777"
Cons: "I disliked the food"

Pros: "food courtesy boarding"
Cons: "seats"

Pros: "The seat and the flight were very good."

Pros: "The crews were helpful."
Cons: "The handle of one of my checked in bags broke down."

Pros: "Good space"
Cons: "It's unfortunate that when you order a special meal you dont get your drinks until after you have eaten your meal. and if you end up waiting then you end up having a cold meal. It would be great if this could be changed"

Cons: "Complimentary varieties can be increased"

Pros: "Gemma Crane was excellent! She knows the benefit to a cup of tea and made me feel very special for the entire flight. Thank you Gemma."

Pros: "Flight was fine."
Cons: "Crew was not very friendly."

Pros: "Seating was comfortable though a tad bit cramped."
Cons: "Window was dirty from someone touching it on a previous flight. Cannot wear headphones during takeoff or landing was an inconvenience. Cabin crew made sure all passengers were held tightly to their rules but then got themselves a coffee and chatted up front the majority of the time. (Only an hour trip, so no beverages or snacks for us)"

Pros: "Flight was cancelled"
Cons: "If flight took place"

Pros: "Flight on time, seats comfortable."
Cons: "For such a short flight no improvements are needed."

Pros: "Crew was ok and the seat was a bit uncomfortable. I am over 6 feet so I always have a bit of a problem with the seat"
Cons: "Seat"

Cons: "The flight from London to Miami was great! The one from Miami to Las Vegas was awful. No seat-back entertainment screens, not power outlets so you could watch on your own device, one bottle of water for a five hour flight, and ride, inattentive cabin crew. I should point out that while I booked through BA, both flights were operated by American Airlines."

Cons: "Checking in was quite annoying because BA canceled our return and over the phone but we still had to transfer all our information upon checking. Boarding rather chaotic. Random searches were not organized. Seats were okay. Food just edible. Mostly the staff was polite and there was one attendant in coach who was very pleasant. Shoulder length blonde hair, she was genuine and cheerful. It was an okay flight, but my experience was more comfortable and the feeling of being dealt with as a person was more evident on my flight to London w BA. I appreciate that the flight went well but American Airlines still has a long way to go in customer genuine service and experience."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "They checked everyone’s carry on bags, which made the boarding process incredible slow, then they made you stand on a bus until it was full, to drive to the plane to walk up stairs in the rain. I kept my bag for 20 hours, flying from Vancouver to Calgary to London and before my flight to Madrid. They didn’t care that I said I didn’t want to give it up or that I had to make a connection. Madrid’s airport is notorious for have slow baggage handling, so they are making me wait. I packed for 2 weeks in a carry on and back pack to avoid checking luggage. I am disappointed."

Cons: "Dear Sir or Madam: My two colleagues and I bought our tickets from BWI to Geneva, via London Heathrow, through Kayak as I have many times in the past. However, the Kiwi.com travel agency did not flag that the ticket from BWI to London Heathrow allowed for one piece of checked luggage, but the ticket from London Heathrow onwards to Geneva did not allow for any checked luggage. Also astonishingly, we had to pass through Customs, reclaim our checked suitcases from the baggage carousel, and check in again through Customs to board the onward flight, both coming and going through London Heathrow. In addition to the extraordinary inconvenience that we could neither transit at London Heathrow to our connecting flight without going through Customs twice and that we could not check our luggage through to our final destination, we also had to foot a higher baggage charge to allow for checking in our suitcases, now that we had arrived in London Heathrow only to discover this that our onward ticket did not cover one piece of checked luggage. Had we known that the seemingly better price posted by Kiwi.com on Kayak’s comparative offerings came at such a high price of inconvenience and additional expense for the luggage, we would have taken our business elsewhere. It was deceptive of Kiwi.com to engage in such practices, even if it disclosed these conditions in fine print (for no one would expect, nor have I ever seen previously in the hundreds of flights I have taken as a Million Miler on United), without flagging this. And similarly, it was irresponsible of Kayak.com to allow this “apples with oranges” comparison on its website. I’m making three more international trips in December, but I’m inclined not to use either Kayak.com and most certainly not Kiwi.com for future airline ticket purchases."

Cons: "This is the second time your plans have been late! You were late leaving from Venice to London Heathrow on August 1 which I barely made the flight to Glasgow and then coming back your flight is late leaving Edinburgh to Heathrow And my luggage doesn't make it again! You don't even serve water on the airplane which is ridiculous! Your flight crew were nice but you really need to be on time or not schedule flights with such short layover times! And I hope no one takes anything out of my suitcase! And I'm sure nothing will be done so why do you even do a survey?"

Pros: "Nothing the worst customer service I ever had"
Cons: "The flight was canceled due to mechanical difficulties and British airways delayed helping us for 2 hours and then told us to use the phone 800 number to book a different flight. we needed to connect in London for the flight to Tel Aviv. The man on the phone barely spoke English and set us up with a flight that would not get us to our destination in time for our religious Sabbath Friday night. When we tried to explain the situation he hung up on us. We called back and tried to explain again we either spoke to the same man or another Indian man whom also spoke unintelligible English and he also hung up on us. In the mean time my wife spoke with the counter agents and they tried to find us another flight but by now other airline counters were closed. An hour later I tried the 800 number again and spoke again with the same Indian guy, when I asked to speak to a manager he gave me a hard time then finally said ok, put me on hold which I stayed for a while and realized he just put me on hold indefinitely. Finally after being in the airport for 9 hours we found a flight from United and a family member booked it online for us which we took to Tel Aviv and got us here only 2 hours later than our original flight which had a 12 hour layover in London and we were going to spend time touring but did not get to. As far as I am concerned British Airways has done a horrible job and no one should ever fly with them again. Unfortunately our flight home is with them I hope it goes smooth."

Pros: "Food was OK"
Cons: "Ridiculous last-minute gate change with no notice in Frankfurt forced us to go through security twice and throw away our refreshment purchases. US Customs and Passport Control at Seatac was disorganized and downright surly. My spouse and I were separated on the flight and there is no room for adult bodies to sit with so many seats across without being pressed uncomfortably into strangers for nine hours. It is nearly impossible to sleep under such inhuman conditions. Shame on British Airways for putting profit over service and comfort."

Pros: "This was actually a very pleasant trip. Left a few minutes late (minor mechanical issue) but arrived right on time. Crew was courteous and efficient. The food was the best I have had on any airline in years. Entertainment included a good selection of recent movies."
Cons: "I'm 6'2" and slender - those seats are tight in both leg room and shoulder width, hence the "OK" rating for comfort. I was fortunate that my seat mates were also slender so none of us overlapped the armrests, and that the person ahead of me never reclined their seat because I have no idea of where my legs would have fitted had they done so. The only other gripe is that the volume of the entertainment system seems disconnected from the announcement system. The announcement system is WAY louder than the entertainment system - painfully so. I noticed many others around me also ripping off their headphones when a crew announcement commenced."

Cons: "I paid for TWO EXTRA suitcases for my flight. I carefully packed and weighted them in advance. The "lady" on the counter made me remove one jacket and one pair of boots from each suitcase because it was GRAMS over the limit. Grams those that my hand scale did not accuse at all. The following customer right after me had KILOS OVER the limit (almost SEVEN) and were not flying business or first class, regular economic class just like me. And they did not had to remove a thing from their extra heavy suitcases. What is the company criteria? Anyway, I bought me another return flight on OTHER airline and simply lost my return flight on BA. I am never flying this horrible company again."

Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "There was an abusive passenger sitting behind me that kicked my chair the entire flight. They were angry that they didn't have more space and that I wanted to have my seat back. I offered to put it up during meal times to make sure they had enough space but that wasn't good enough. The crew knew what was happening and tried to get the other passenger to stop but the passenger persisted. The crew refused to upgrade me even though I had paid for an aisle seat and there were no other aisle seats available for me to move to. I find this service unacceptable. I probably won't be willing to fly BA again as they obviously care more about money than ensuring their customers are comfortable."

Pros: "I made it finally to Prague."
Cons: "British Airways did not have a plane available in timely manner. They were jerking us around with the departure time. They changed the departure time over 6x. The range was zero to 3 hours late. Finally, we departed about 80 minutes late. The blame was on weather but I did not believe them. I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

Cons: "BA pulled a fast one on the passengers by first gradually increasing the projected delay, up to 3.5 hours, and then last minute changing the flight status from "delayed by 3.5 hours" to "on time, gate open". They did this without making any announcements on the loudspeaker, or sending any notifications to the passengers. Whoever didn't see the status change on a screen would have missed the flight. The crew must have recognized this (after half of the plane didn't show up), and just decided to wait some more, so our "on time" flight was eventually delayed by 1.5 hours only because the airline couldn't shepherd the passengers together when they were ready to leave."

Pros: "It was only a 90 minute flight"
Cons: "I paid for the exit row and did not get it. Originally I paid for 10B and 10C which were on the exit row on the seating chart. They then cancelled my seats so I had to go back online and pick again. They wanted to charge me again so I called BA and got seats 10D and 10E which were also supposed to be exit row seats. They even asked me if my wife and I were physically able to follow flight crew instructions for the exit row. When we boarded we found out 10D and 10E were now the row in front of the exit row which did not recline. After being packed like sardines on the flight from Philly to London I was looking forward to some legroom. It could not have been any worse."

Pros: "I liked that the plane landed and I survived."
Cons: "The online check-in didn't work, the phone customer service only answered after a 20 min hold and was unhelpful, the seats were so close that the seat in front of me hit me in the head when the woman sitting in it reclined, and the gate attendant was rude. People taking this flight and expecting to do work or watch the in-flight entertainment shouldn't. There is not enough space to use your laptop and when the person in front of you reclines while you are trying to read, not only won't you be able to read but you won't be able to watch a movie either (unless you are very short) since the screen is tilted accordingly."

Cons: "I added a quick trip to Austria while I was in Europe and timed it so I would fly back to London and then back to LA on the same day. London had a huge wind storm on 10/21 so my flight from Austria landed 1 hour late, with that I missed my London-LAX flight on BA (that I purchased via Kayak). The BA agents tried to help me but were not able to use my Kayak ticket to re-book me or at least recover some of my investment. There was no phone number provided on my reservation and after an hour of trying to help me, they said I have to buy a brand new ticket. The cost for my return and my seat reservation both were lost and my new ticket was $1,600 (and I had to spend the night in a hotel at Heathrow as at that point all US flights left for the day). I usually book directly with the airlines because I want to avoid situations like this, so it is too bad that the one time I come to Kayak I end up having to buy a new ticket that was twice as expensive as the original one. Ina Watkins ina.watkins333@gmail.com 646-594-3593"

Pros: "The crew and entertainment was great on this flight! Other than that, it is kind of hard to find positives."
Cons: "We were delayed by 30 minutes for whatever reason and then we were trapped in the air for 11 hours in tiny seats. The seat wasn't very comfortable and I didn't have much room to sit and for my legs. I had a stupid box under the seat in front of me with airplane stuff in it I guess, so that took up some room under the seat in front of me. I had my legs stretched in the aisle most of the flight. The food wasn't great, but what airline food is good? I was really expecting this aircraft to be like the Dream Liner, but overall it was just a big tin can in the sky."

Pros: "Flight attendants are so friendly, cheerful, personable and polite"
Cons: "BA website required payment for any seat selection, so I paid $35 for two aisle seats to be close to my husband. Then, BA website did not allow change or upgrade of seating when I at last discovered upper deck availability and paid another $50 each for us to sit together.. I purchased seating months in advance, and so did friends travelling with me, but my husband's seat was given free to a man who said had just purchased 2 days prior. I purchased my one friend an exit row seat in main cabin for $75 but BA gave it to someone else. Yes, I want refunds and will be writing more about this to BA and posting about this horrid discomfort."

Pros: "comfy seat Nice head side support Nice service Professional crew and pilots - especially the very informative and genial pilot on flight 203"
Cons: "Website better now, but still clunky and cranky to use. Hard to find flight status info OUTRAGEOUS To charge for seat selection on a $1000+ ticket!!! App useless-- did not work for flight status checking BA VERY poor on updating us on flight delays: Kayak informed us of delays by email, not a peep from BA. Hard to set up flight notifications. Boarding process completely baroque: With 6 different priority statuses, should we be in this line or that if we have x status, but are flying this class. Comically absurd."

Pros: "Food and entertainment was good."
Cons: "Most of the flight attendants were nice. However, on one flight a couple of them were rude. One made a comment "you are making their job hard". I was sitting across the aisle from my mother who is 80 years old and was getting her entertainment set up since she is technically challenged. I told him that I didn't mean to make his job hard. After that, he then smiled regularly to make up for the comment. Also, one of the flights we had to buy coffee, water, or anything other non-alcohol beverage we wanted to drink. Not sure why on one flight we didn't get free beverage service when all of the other BA flights provided it."

Pros: "Staff was exceptional."
Cons: "First a large number of the flight was flagged for special screening which meant that they had to do additional procedures and were very understaffed as many of us talking near 100 people had to stay behind and wait for over an hour as three employees screened us in detail. This while the rest of the plane was already boarded. Thus the flight left late and arrived very late to LAX. Secondly the refrigeration on board for food was broken thus spoilong the food so we only received one meal on an 11 hour flight which we were starving and not what we paid for during this flight. They did offer snacks but when not having a full meal as paid for it is a huge let down. Thirdly why is Wi-Fi not offered on this flight. Due to the late departure and late arrival we missed my connection to TUS and was not able to make calls or email during the flight. Not acceptable. Very unhappy and will never be flying with British Airways again. I WILL ALSO NEVER LET FRIENDS AND FAMILY FLY WITH THEM. An airline as prestigious as BA needs to work better at ensuring the minimum on offering wait we the customer pays for and this did not happen. Staff was amazing and very friendly but we were very dejected and felt that your brand suffered a lot with this experience. I do hope to hear from airline about this incident as my wife and I travel constantly."

Pros: "Smooth and nice flight. Crew was friendly and attentative."
Cons: "I found it surprisingly coincidental that both my wife's and my checked bags did not make the flight to Santorini. Of course, given how the process in dealing with Kayak and this booking, it did not surprise me. Any calls or customer service related questions were handled as though we were 2nd class citizens. I've never been treated like this traveling, but always the attitude came from "oh, you booked this through a discount site" and then I was handled accordingly. I booked it through Kayak for ease as I planned a 7-city, 21 day trip around the Adriatic. Now we'll do our honeymoon without a wardrobe change, filing claims for the contents of our bags, as no one can tell us what happened, or where the bags are, and we're about to depart for our next city. Never, NEVER book a trip from a 3rd party. The seats next to the toilets that don't recline, attitude from airlines, now my first lost bag in 10 years (I fly 3 times a month, too)."

Pros: "When I traveled Lax to Denmark via London on July.13. At that time from London to Copenhagen crews only sale the food and drinks. My group tour customers were thirsty and they had to take some pills. so they asked just cup of water, but the crews did not provide even a cup of water . That time was dinner time so every people was so hungry too. And also yesterday my another tour customer was so hungry. I understand you not served food at time. but just serve them a snack or juice . Because time jet lag make them more tired and hungry. I was worked at the Korean air line before, so I understand the stewardess should do only follow the regulations. But just serve some water to hungry and tired passengers."
Cons: "When I traveled Lax to Denmark via London on July.13. At that time from London to Copenhagen crews only sale the food and drinks. Pros: "always friendly and helpful"
Cons: "The boarding in London. They did not call numbers or rows so people just squeezed...and pushed ... drinks If I sit on a window seat I sometimes do not notice the serving of liquids. I would appreciated it very much if they talk to me when they serve water and juice. Otherwise I get dehydrated. Happened last year on my flight back to the US, too.I had to get up and walk back to get water(2016). breakfast Breakfast used to be better with fresh fruits and cheese.and roll The pizzas are like cardboard, I do not care about. Other wise I am satisfied. Thanks"

Cons: "The BA crew was awful. I was not feeling well and wanted a cup of tea. I didn't realize you had to purchase it. I gave a member of the crew my credit credit card she said out loud "your card is declined" several people heard and then proceeded to hand me my card and walked away. I was mortified. I, of course thinking my bank had put a hold on my account because I was outside the US, called them to find out why it was declined and was told they had no idea and they did even see the $2.00 charge go through and therefore it wasn't declined on the bank's end. The way she handled it was awful, no discretion. I was visibly ill and just needed something warm to help me feel better. Needless to say I will never fly BA again and will let my company know how I was treated."

Pros: "We had ONE customer service rep in Heathrow who was incredibly helpful and tried to help get us home. She was wonderful."
Cons: "Their delayed flight from Milan to London caused us to miss our flight from London to NY, and thus our flight from NY to Denver, which was standby. When we explained how difficult it would be to catch another flight to Denver from NY with it being the weekend, and attempting to get a flight to another airport with higher chances of getting us home, their customer service rep informed us that as long as they 'fulfilled their contract' to get us to NY, it wasn't really their problem how we got home (or couldn't get home) after that."

Pros: "legroom"
Cons: "Boarding started 10-15 minutes before the announced boarding time and I did not hear an announcement for that. Seats are very uncomfortable, they have no lumbar support and my lower back still hurts from the three hours on the plane. 2 toilets for all economy class passengers are not enough - there was a line most of the time. Water for purchase???Are you kidding me? That was the worst surprise! What a shame, British Airways! Now you are one of the inhumane airlines! I will tell THE WORLD about that ridiculous fact! And not even extra small packages of snacks?! Now my favorite airline becomes Delta. There was no entertainment of any kind. There were no air vents above our seats (row 20 in that Airbus) and it got really hot before we were airborne."

Pros: "I fly a lot between North America and Southeast Asia (usually on SQ). My BA flight was a perfectly acceptable long distance flight for a song, so that its best aspect was the low price. It was much better than any US airline's flight to SE Asia that I have been on from time to time, and was a solid B to B+ against the standard SQ A to A-. I flew from Singapore to Charlotte with no issues, then returned two days after their IT disaster in a half empty airplane. I expect they continue to discount while they try to rebuild their brand, so I suspect this kind of flight stays quite a good value for the next year or so."
Cons: "I ordered vegan meals. The dinner on the way back to SIN was fine, but the veggie breakfast was absolutely pathetic. Most of the vegetarian food was okay."

Pros: "Crew, food, entertainment all good. USB charging a nice touch"
Cons: "We purchased two tickets together but were assigned seats far apart. We couldn't check in using on-line app. It wanted Visa information for USA travel even though we are US citizens, all info was entered into our flight, and we had already flown the outbound leg. The partner airline for the first leg checked us in, noted that our seats were separate and said they unable to change it. We called BA customer service - they were unable to change our seats. On arrival at Heathrow there was a huge wait at the BA processing center, when we finally presented our boarding passes and asked for a change the representative told us there was no time and we should run to our gate. I sat next to two people traveling solo so sitting together was obviously no problem Seating people on a combined booking separately, and never finding a solution other than "run to your gate, we are really behind" is verging on terrible customer service."

Pros: "The seat I had was good"
Cons: "No food, no drinks. They asked me to pay even for water. After a very long trans Atlantic flight, this being a connecting flight after a long a tired 11 hours layover in London. It is an embarrassing how the airline cares (or doesn't care) who travels with them, where the people are coming from so they can understand their needs. I don't think it would had make a difference to the airline if they would acknowledge connecting passengers and eventually try to make their experience a little easier. But asking for a glass of water and not getting any is an embarrassing experience for this airline. I will never fly with British if I can."

Pros: "My flight going to the UK was rough, but the flight home was as solid as being on the ground. This is my third round trip with BA and while the trip home last year I experienced poor customer service from the flight attendant assigned to our side of the plane, both my inbound and home bound flight crews, this time were exemplary. Very kind and caring. The pasta was very good."
Cons: "The single Halloween size kit-kat bar that we were given as a snack. Was so small that I naturally believed that we could take more than one. I was politely told that the singe 3.5inch twin wafers were all that we were allowed per person. We have a candy jar, in our office and with the extra supply in the supply closet, we would have been able to give everyone at least two. So, my recommendation is if you are flying transatlantic, to stock up at Heathrow for extra food. Also, the seats were very very small. I was lucky and the plane was not sold out, so both flights my seat mate and myself were able to put a seat between each other. I found myself reasoning that for the price of the flight I was paying for transport to England not for comfort."

Pros: "great selection of in flight entertainment."
Cons: "At JFK there was a long wait for the luggage, which ended up not being delivered to the carousel, after we had waited for almost 2 hours. Granted, there was some snow and some technical issue since the fire alarm system was flashing the whole time, but still, there were only two announcements made during that time, and the second one to let us know that we'd have to arrange for delivery of our luggage on the website. By that time, it was past 11;30pm and everyone was dead tired, when the flight had been supposed to land at 7:25pm. I think the blame is to be laid on the JFK installations. Everywhere I travel in Europe, airports are in brand new condition, and not only departure areas like in the US. No wonder baggage delivery was a mess after just a little snow/"

Pros: "A380 planes hold far too many people for the capacity of the departure terminal making the gate experience sonewhat of a spill over. Seating maps at check in did not make available a single seat close to us for a third member of our party who had booked an equal ticket on a separate booking. Yet after n boarding there were seats physically available that were not offered by check in staff. Meal trash was left for far too long before collection in our seats which was upper deck final rear cabin. Plane noise during flight was very low, excellent. Miami Airport is a logistical immigration process nightmare. We look forward to BA using FLL instead directly from the UK."

Pros: "The flight itself went smoothly despite some windy conditions, and we were transported in one piece, without incident, from LHR to IAD. The crew members were pleasant in conversation and reasonable in frequency of food service. Once, when I pressed the attendant button, one of them came quickly to ask me what the problem was, and that kind of responsiveness is always a plus, in my opinion. The seats reclined a reasonable amount, not the mere 2-5 cm one sometimes experiences lately."
Cons: "The aircraft was aging at least a bit, and it was clear because my seat almost would not return to the upright position and stay there. Several times I tried to return it to upright as the end of the flight neared, and it would easily move but would return to reclined once I leaned back. It was as if I had been the whole time keeping my finger on the button that makes the seat movable. After I'd about given up, the seat finally stayed upright even when I put my weight back on it. My flight attendant misunderstood my drink request, but I let it go because the result was close to what I had asked for. It could have been that there was too much background noise - not sure."

Cons: "Boarding process atrocious! First a gate change from A to C gates, requiring a train to transit. Then, after walking down a jetway, we were sent through an emergency exit, down two flights of stairs and herded onto buses, and I mean herded. We (including elderly and moms with infants) alongwith our carry-ons were harshly ordered to squeeze together on a bus until there was literally no room to move. A lengthy bus ride with very disgruntled passengers to plane was followed by another set of stairs up to the cabin door. Finally, our departure was delayed 30 minutes while the bags of 2 passengers who got lost in the airport (probably on a bus or train) were retrieved. Not sure whether the fault lies with Heathrow or British Airways, but the experience was bad enough to avoid both in future."

Pros: "Frequent beverage service and decent food. My wife and I enjoyed catching up on several movies that we otherwise had ignored."
Cons: "Heathrow Airport is a horrible mess. It seems our soft shell carry-on luggage that fit fine above us on our previous British airways flight was now too large and had to be check. This bothered me greatly as multiple individuals with hard shell carry-on luggage rolled by without so much as a word. It appeared that whomever decided the seating arrangements was drunk. All of our previous flights my wife and I were seated next to each other. This flight we were seated in two different rows. After several trades (I think four) we were able to sit next to each other. I had attempted 24 hours prior to the flight to select our seats but was unable to do this without paying $50."

Pros: "They changed my seat when I asked them too."
Cons: "The stewardess told me for the last meal, that they ran out the no. Vegetarian meal so I must choose the veg one. Later he said he gave me the preference for the earlier meal so this one shouldn't be a problem if I didn't get what I asked for. Totally blew my mind. The audacity with which he gave me his explanation was extraordinary. Sorry British airways, don't need that attitude. Wrote to them about this, haven't yet replied back. The flight was pretty old by itself. Not like the ones that go from London to United States. The Seats were smaller and had a very uneasy contour, the entire plane just looked a little banged up. The crew always seemed in a rush, to busy to even hear or look around."

Pros: "Crew was great. Really terrific. A+ all around. And that was consistent on all legs of the trip. But they couldn't fix this particular plane."
Cons: "Boarding was a zoo. Took forever. Not enough information shared. Everyone lined up for priority, whether had status or not. Once I got on the plane, the seats were AWFUL - the worst I've ever experienced. The pitch between them impossible. When passenger in front put his seat back, was practically in my throat. Couldn't lift the armrests completely, which was ridiculous. Even with an empty seat between myself and row-mate, we were cramped and couldn't get comfortable bcse of arm rests. Absolutely awful. Cannot imagine how much worse it would have been if seat in middle taken."

Pros: "safety was most important and the crew got us to our destination with no problems."
Cons: "They ran out of chicken meal therefore offered second choice of meal which was risoto and pasta as a salad. I would have much preferred a fresh salad with fresh fruit as a dessert and a simple meal of vegetables grilled than risoto and pasta. Too much starch and too heavy. Also, the entertainment choices of movies in English were poor. I would have preferred great classic movies that can be watched over and over than new ones with a low rating. I only watched one movie. Also, found the map hard to navigate and understand. Landing was painful to my ears as usual and not sure anything can be done about that. I did take a pill to help with the pain."

Pros: "Flight staff was very good and so was the customer staff who were friendly but had to deal with so many missed flights."
Cons: "Ground staff management management was extremely poor: a. Flight was booked by BA with a 90-120 minute transfer time but LHR ground staff couldn't get the crowds flowing . And we missed every connecting flight. b. Informed ground staff that the flight was leaving in 90 minutes, and told them that we will not make it if we can't get into the express line but they told us "too bad". BA booked us and confirmed that it was enough time to catch our flights. We missed every single connecting fligh and had to wait 2-4 hours to catch the next flight. And we lost our seating arrangement which made it difficult since we have children. c. When we got to about 30 minutes to our flight then they switched us to the express line but it was always too late. Very disappointed with the BA airport management. d. A lot of people were trying to rebook flights, and that line became too long. I empathize with the BA booking staff but not with the ground management staff. e. Avoid BA if you have to get a connecting flight at LHR and it is within less than 2 hours, it was a poorly managed operation."

Pros: "Nothing was good. You're terrible at your job."
Cons: "Really my worst flying experience ever. For an international flight they had the worst TV's in the head rest. Picture was faded. You get stuck with crappy middle seat unless you're lucky enough to quickly book a window at that 24hr period before the flight. They have a greedy little trick they like to pull to make more money like us the consumer don't realize what's going on. They sell you a ticket then try to swindle more money out of you to request your seat. Total BS move. When I complained about it they gave me some canned response about how its better customer services stating that some customers prefer to pay to request their seat. Are you kidding me? Why not just state you're selling window seats for more money instead of trying to play your customers for idiots. Only makes me want to never fly your airline again."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Departure time was 4:10 pm, and they finished boarding at 4:45 pm. Then we had to sit in the plane on the tarmac for another 2 hours, while the captain kept coming up with the weirdest excuses about why we are delayed. First they had to do a manual passenger head count, because the numbers didn't add. After an hour, he says they are finally done counting and are waiting for the truck to push the plane on to the runway. He says that since this is a A380, it needs a bigger truck that is in short supply at Heathrow!! He came on the intercom few more times in the next hour with more excuses about why we are delayed, but by then I was too mad to remember what the hell he was saying."

Pros: "Movies offered were plenty and recent releases."
Cons: "Boarding inefficient and a joke again. Put on a bus to be taken out to plane, crammed in there like sardines, no AC. Had to wait inside bus around 20 minutes prior to boarding due to air traffic issues. Not pleasant to board a 10 hour flight already hot and sweating. No apologies given by British Airways. Food was awful. Served fish on salad-not warned prior to serving. Stunk up cabin. Seats extremely hard again. On this flight they tried to freeze everyone to death. Rude, new male crew member in economy class. Date on that salad, by the way, showed that it was expiring the next day. I will NEVER fly Bristish Airways again."

Pros: "Fast boarding"
Cons: "Not enough newer movies for a 10+ hour flight. I am not a movie-buff but only managed to find 3 movies I had not seen before. Monitor for video was hazy and hard to see the movies with the overhead lights on the whole flight. Flight attendants for my area (business class upstairs) did not seem to want to be there, did the bare minimum, felt like the attendants you usually get on any airlines US domestic flights. Yes, daytime flight, but did the lights have to be on the whole flight? Had 6-8 kids in 10-15 year range that were running around the whole flight, maybe if the lights had been at least dimmed they could have settled down so the other travelers who would have liked to sleep could... Food servings were smaller than usual, but since it was also unusually uninspired and tasteless I guess that was ok. Plane was dirty (visibly so on, f.ex. the sides of seats, traytable, and bathroom) and it was not just from the ongoing journey but from previous flights."
