Cons: "Flight was late. There was no communication about it. The flight from Joburg to Doha was late, therefore I missed my connection. The delay was not officially communicated to any of the passengers — no announcements made, no representatives to talk to at the gate — until well past the time that we should have been in the air. It was distressing."
Pros: "I really like the Qatar flight from Auckland to Manchester. But beware now that the Akl leg leaves 1 hour later the transit in Doha is officially 1.15hr. But since the first leg is always getting in and you have to bus to the terminal, transit time is about 30 mins. Although they are efficient and i made it this time, i wouldn't want to do this with kids."

Cons: "I am a very experienced traveller. I always book an isle seat, especially for long flights (this was 12 hrs.), so that I can get up and stretch my legs etc. The couple sitting beside me were upset that I did not take the window seat. When it came time to sleep, the wife stretched out over her husbands legs, who was sitting beside me. This meant her feet were coming on top of my legs, and her legs were forcing her husbands legs into my space, touching my leg - I had to put a pillow between my leg and his leg. I asked the Qatar hostess if she could please ask the couple to change their positions, so that my seating space was respected, resulting in no body touching. The hostess replied that she was not permitted to ask the couple to change their positions and be more respectful. Fortunately there was another unreserved isle seat and I was able to move. Due to the fact that airplanes have become cultural melting pots, thousands of feet in the air, I think it would be peacefully beneficial too all, if a very discreet announcement could be made at the beginning of each flight regrading seating etiquette, respectfulness towards others etc. this could also be printed in the flight magazine. Thanks in advance."

The flight was delayed in Jhb and I could have had some help in Dubai trying to get to my connecting flight to London

Cons: "The was a lot of profanity used by the attendants that was not necessary. Secondly I reserved a front row seat in online check in, but it did not allow put mean in that seat. Which if they were full would be understandable, but every single one was empty."

Cons: "Comparing this flight on Emirates airlines which is from Bahrain going to spain with the previous flight on Emirates airlines as well but was going from Bahrain to Dubai there is a huge difference starting from Time professionalism and crew treatment and captain experience on making the flight comfortable the level of everything changes my flight to Spain was very comfortable and quite and the food was delicious the crew was very helpful and polite the captain is very professional and he made us feel very comfortable in this flight smooth take of and landing."
Cons: "The check in process took a long time; longer than other carriers. In spite of so many crew members being there at the gate, there were no announcement of the boarding process. It used to be there before. When asked the staff is very politely responds on what is going on but the rest of the passengers do not know what's going on. Wonder why the staff do not follow the seating process by zone as mentioned on the boarding pass."

Cons: "The plane was an older model and very outdated. The flight attendants gave us a choice between chicken or vegetarian pasta. I chose chicken, but it was actually beef. The salad was literally iceberg lettuce and a slice of cucumber. Overall, the meal was one of the lowest quality I've ever had in am airline. The outdated onboard entertainment system was annoying to operate and it was impossible to even see the screen when the person ahead leaned back."

Pros: "I was gratified to see that the 777 Boeing aircraft have now replaced the older Airbus aircraft..... This is my sixth time traveling to Switzerland from San Francisco on Swiss....Their service in my opinion remains excellent......The cabin crew was cheerful friendly yet remained very efficient at the same time... The food was very good, , The two meals that comes with one's Ticket still also comes with complimentary beverage service .... and even a warm moist towel is offered towards the end of the flight ... not bad for a seat in coach ...."

They still never provided me with an email though and information allowing me to have my daughter checked in. they only provided me with her reference number."
Cons: "All in all we had a poor experience and my family and I were disappointed. I'm about to book yet another ticket for my brother, but this time I'm not considering Swiss Air. Just so you know, I'm a very positive person and appreciate every polite and courteous gesture. Unfortunately this experience didn't allow me to do so."

Cons: "It was extremely warm on the flight; consequently, I was unable to sleep. This was my second overly warm Swiss Air flight. After numerous complaints on the first flight, the temperature was lowered, but the second flight remained warm."
If I could fly Virgin Atlantic airlines to every place, I need to go, I would. Leaving Heathrow through the special virgin air entrance, security is completely white glove service. I love this airline. From ticketing agents to flight staff everyone tries to make it a wonderful & happy flight experience. I wish other airlines copied the positive culture of Virgin Airlines.

The crew on both flights were courteous and professional. The flights were smooth and on time. Great experience overall. There could have been at least a drink on the flight's JFK - JAX leg.

I smelled something amazing so thought I would get a good hot meal as my last meal since I had not had anything in 9hours, but nope, just got a measly cold sandwich. I won’t book British airlines again for international travel, I’ll stick to emirates."

Cons: "We departed the terminal for takeoff but a passenger had a medical emergency requiring a return to the gate and off-loading along with finding the passenger’s baggage down below. Not the airline’s fault, of course, but maybe passengers should carefully consider their health before embarking on an 11.5 hour flight from one continent to another."
