Cons: "Why I had to fly from Naples to Munich and then down to Zurich to take an Edelweiss flight (Swiss Air, horrible), is beyond me. Poor routing, plus, the Edelweiss flight took 10 hours to Tampa. My family flew from Naples to Paris and from Paris to St. Louis, Mo. in SIX hours. The four extra hours were excruciatingly long in cramped seats."

Pros: "Even though we were a little late boarding and taking off, we still arrived 15 minutes early. The on board snack was pretty good (cheese sandwich) and the coffee was lovely - good quality and just what I needed."

Cons: "I had to endure 10 hours sitting next to an obese passenger, who was to big to fit into his seat and had to rest his shoulder and elbow over my seat. The crew couldn't do much and so I had to shift myself sideways for the entire journey in order to make space for this obese passenger to rest his arm into and over my seat."

Cons: "They had overbooked the flight and asked to reroute me. I asked if I would still be able to get to my destination at the same time and to make sure I would have a window seat. Everything from the moment I said yes was a terrible. They rebooked me twice on two different routes when I was in the air. Said a steward would meet me (never happened) instead I was running to catch flights on different airlines in two different airports. The entire situation was disgusting. The running was with all of my luggage. Because of the rebooking I was in the last row of 75 rows on a plane with an additional connection. Every flight had delays creating more chaos for the next flight. The only helpful airline in the bunch was Delta."

The crew hit my seat, repeatedly with their carts and did not remember to offer drinks to us as they pushed it by. The airlines should consider removing that seat as an option to passengers if there is not ample room for the flight crew to maneuver around it. It made for an unpleasant experience overall."

I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Pros: "It’s acctually the second time , just last week 23rd , our flight with delta got delayed that made us missed our connecting flight and I had to pass through Nairobi, female crew serving snacks came over to me with snacks and told me I ordered low fat food which I did and I asked her if it was ok if I had chicken that day she insisted that had ordered low fat mean and that’s what she has to serve me and I had to tell her again I needed chicken, she started arguing with me over snacks she got offended and she just threw food in my hand almost dropped to the floor , I think that was not professional at all. And today again coming to Nairobi the female crew came over serving snacks again and requested if I could have some wet wipes my hands were dirty dirty because had seen a crew handing out with to the people in the front raw but she answered me it was in the bank and she kept on and I again asked the male crew and he explained to me that they mostly don’t give wet wipes for short flights but I had wet wipes when I flew to Nairobi from Amsterdam and I had too when I left Nairobi to Uganda , what’s the point of serving foods when passengers gotta eat with dirty hands , and today again-the same female crew skipped the first raw of two males with snacks who were seated in front of us and even if they told her they missed the snacks, she stood there and called the male crew just unprofessionally to bring the snacks for the gentleman and she just never cared . I think they should do better thanks ."

Cons: "The 737 on second flight ....the long overnight one... Was very uncomfortable in biz class. On arrival in Nairobi...the hub city...there was no staff. A.c. no working or escalator in airport. Biz line for security not open. Food below average. No breakfast as we one meal."

Cons: "Some seats had damaged entertainment equipment. One seat had a damaged USB charging port. We just used the one from the next seat. Another had a damaged remote control for the entertainment system. Still usable via touch though."

Cons: "Every moment leading up to the airplane. From our flight being delayed 13 hours, to people not helping us with a hotel when we had a 12 hour layover to start with. They said we needed to talk to only the Kenya Airways representatives in Addis where we left from. We did... and they didn't say anything. After that they refused to help us in Nairobi. There were all these secret ways of getting help that they said we didn't qualify for. Supervisors and managers were not available unless I left their desk and went to departures. They said I would have to go back through immigration.. but thankfully, right before I did, someone came and spoke to me. From our several interactions, we received no apologies, but felt that the theme was that everything was my fault.. not the best feeling as a customer. Only my one chat with the supervisor was very nice. She was very patient, sat down with me and helped direct my concerns. Especially with a 13 hour delay. Nairobi seemed great, but our interactions with the staff really took away from our experience. And we missed our vacation in the end.."

Pros: "The flight attendants were the best! I fly a lot every year, but I found the flight attendants among the best I have ever had. In addition, the flight was early in arrival! I love Kenya Airways!"

Pros: "after 5 hours of waiting when there was no boarding started at boarding gate we came to know that flight is dealyed by 7 more hours. They provided hotel but it took 3 hours for us to clear immigration and reached hotel and after 1 hours they came to pick us back. there was no support from airlines staff and we were at won. Hotel was just waste because we just use for one hour in 12 hours delay."

Cons: "My Air India and Kenya Airways flights were packaged together as though they were a code share, but when my initial let on Air India from Delhi to Mumbai was delayed I missed my connection to Nairobi. What followed was a bizarre five-hour scramble in the Mumbai airport that ranks in the top three worst flight experiences I’ve ever had. I had already checked in and had a emailed boarding pass, but wasn’t let through security without the official airline printout. Although the Kenya Airways Nairobi flight was also delayed and was still several hours from boarding, their staff was nowhere to be found and none of their 10+ customer service numbers was working. I finally managed to get a hold of a representative over the phone via the airport’s information counter, and she swore that a staff member was on the way to meet me. Two hours and several calls and assurances later, the flight took off without me and the Kenya Airways staff stopped picking up the phone. Then there was a crazy several hours of back and forth as a single employee emerged and demanded that I get a letter from Air India taking responsibility for the initial delay, before disappearing again for several hours. The disorganization, unprofessionalism and outright lies I encountered were frankly bizarre and unlike anything I’ve encountered while flying before."

Pros: "This company obviously trains its employees to belittle and disregard customers. I have never dealt with a company so at fault for an issue and so utterly unwilling to make up for it. First, they cancel the first of our 3 flights to Delhi 18 hrs before it is to leave. The flight they replaced it with would leave us 10 min to make the connection. So we went to the counter and they told us they'd hold the plane, as did the stewardess on the flight. They lied. The plane left 10 min before we landed. We were stranded. Also, I got food poisoning from their food. They did nothing to help. They would not pay for the hotel we wanted, when we asked they rudely served everyone else they stranded first. The employee would not call his supervisor or give his name. The next morning i saw a doctor but the stomache infection was so bad i couldn't sit up or walk. The doctor wrote this on my clearance to fly document. I needed to get to India to get better medical help. We presented this to the kenya airlines agent and she would do nothing to help. She had business class reclining seats available but would not upgrade me. Even after everything this shitty airline has caused. Unbelievable. Every step along the way of this nightmare could have been made better, so much better, by some human decency but instead we got rude disregard."

Pros: "Trip on the Dreamliner to/from Nairobi/Joburg went very smoothly. Entertainment was limited but worked and was fine for a 4 hour trip. Food was nothing great but nothing disastrous, booze was handed out willingly, staff were efficient, plane was on time - I rate it higher than SAA for the same leg and would choose KA again."
Cons: "Expensive at $800 but limited choice in Africa so what can you do?"

Pros: "The plane was pretty comfortable, they gave us blankets and pillows even though it was only a 4-hour flight."
Cons: "They served "breakfast" halfway through which was two tiny servings of meat and a piece of chocolate cake. Not much food and not really what I wanted to eat in the middle of the night! Boarding was completely chaotic, some screens said the flight was delayed, others said it was on time (it was delayed). When we arrived in Nairobi they hardly apologized for the delay, and also insisted on sending a bus to come pick us up from the plane because it was raining, which took forever. Missed my connection by about 5 minutes and had to wait almost 10 hours for the next one."

Cons: "Zanzibar's check in process was atrocious. The systems were slow, so it took forever to get through the queue. Then we were told we had to check our carry one because they were just over weight. They didn't tell us that upon arrival in Nairobi we would have to leave the secured area, go out, pay the visa fee (cash only), get the bags on the carousel, check in at the front, and go back through security again."
