9,0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of Angela and Michael. Breakfast was plentiful, well presented, very tasty and plenty of choice. Parking is fine, on both premises and outside the property. Location was good enough for what we wanted (relaxing few days to do absolutely nothing). You would need a car however to see any sights, a couple of good pub/restaurants near by, we got a cab but would be a hike without transport of some kind. Though only found the The Hare in Langton was open on a Sunday evening for dinner, again transport needed. A lovely few days away. Have been before and would definitely go back!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I liked everything. Angela and Michael have thought of everything and more. With relatives living nearby we have stayed at several hotels. However from now on we would NOT even consider any other accommodation in the Tunbridge Wells.
Cons: Honestly, there is nothing to dislike.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts, with good local knowledge. very helpful in recommending good pubs/restaurants. Excellent breakfast with everything freshly cooked to a high standard.
Cons: Car park a but tight but that is only a very minor issue.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Staff very helpful and polite, they offered to carry luggage to room. Bedroom was warm and bed very comfortable. Shower was great no problem with temperature. A nice touch to have a couple of bottles of mineral water which were free. Good location short walk to Pantiles and very close to the Spa valley heritage railway.
Cons: There was not anything we didn't like . Although the stair case may have not been good for anyone with mobility issues.

Cons: Price
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Wider range of food at breakfast
6,0 Good
Pros: Food lovely good music and friendly staff
Cons: Bathroom needed decorating, toilet brushes a no no
9,6 Excellent
Cons: Food expensive
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable rooms; nice staff who helped get our bags to the room.
Cons: We’re hoping looking for local food in the restaurant, not pseudo-American. Not that it wasn’t good food. But it’s a themed location, so go expecting that.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I like the themed aspect which is the Wild West, the food is amazing, there is a good choice of drinks, the restaurant is huge and can accommodate parties so ideal for birthday group meals, popping in for breakfast or dinner or do all of these and stay over! The rooms have a large shower with complimentary bathroom supplies, flat screen tv, heating, tea/coffee making facilities. There are only a small number of rooms so it’s less hectic than larger hotels. The parking is always easy as there are plenty of spaces, you can arrive and park up early then check in later. The next day breakfast is until 10.30am so no rush the next day. We usually go into town on arrival and the next day when you can leave your car until ready to go. There are a large number of great pubs to choose from and to visit during the day, but I recommend having drinks and dinner at the hotel ... then when you are ready you just walk upstairs to your room!
Cons: Nothing.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Harold greeted us with a home made Victoria sponge cake and afternoon tea in the drawing room. His love for the Victorian period is flamboyantly reflected throughout the interior of this remarkable bed and breakfast. Harold’s attention to detail ensures that you feel immersed in the grandeur of the late 19th century. His eye for detail extended to our amazing bedroom and bathroom which featured a very comfortable large bed, roll top bath and lovely hot shower. Our breakfast was served in the ornate dining room where we opted for the delicious full English. Nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely recommend the Victorian B&B.
Cons: There’s absolutely nothing to dislike!!
10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Harold! The owner was an absolute darling, the decor the Ambience, comfort & cleanliness was perfect.
Cons: Wasn’t a major thing but tea & coffee making Facilities in our room would have been nice!! BUT I don’t think it would have gone with the Victorian decor, so wasn’t really a negative to our stay.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: Decor is a little tired in places.
7,0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was delicious Drinks in the bar were v relaxing
Cons: Spa facilities were not what we were expecting
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I booked two single rooms and two double rooms for my family as my brother was getting married nearby. The hotel is lovely, the bathrooms were a bit dated but the facilities and rooms itself were very nice. I didn’t check out the spa features but heard from a friend that they were clean. Walked around the hotel grounds which was also lovely
Cons: Just the bathrooms - but it definitely hasn’t ruined my stay and I would come back and recommend to people
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good receptionists (main and gym), lovely looking room with a pretty balcony and lovely few. Nice bathroom and products, good range of TV channels and lots of coffee/tea making options. Very good value for money.
Cons: The hotel is still a little bit 'faded' - I have been there on and off for about 30 years and in some ways nothing has changed.. which is nice in a way... but... my room was lovely looking, but smelled a bit musty, the linen had seen better days and the bed, whilst huge, was not very comfy... a bit old I think.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The lady from the reception was very polite and helpful. The room very clean and well decorated. Even if outside was chilly, the room has been nice and toasty, I even had to keep the window open. Lovely room service
Cons: The pool’s water was quite cold.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Overall very nice hotel, nice staff, good facilities and good location on the edge of Tunbridge wells. 10-15min walk from main area of pubs/restaurants etc but felt quite quiet. Breakfast had good choice (continental buffet and hot food order) Brasserie food was nice! Swimming pool/spa area also decent although not huge.
Cons: Room was a bit too hot and opening the window meant a bit of road noise. We didn't ask them to fix though so they may well have done and it was only a small problem. Could have had more fruit at breakfast.

6,3 Good
Pros: Location to event attending was ideal
Cons: Not clean and is expensive
6,0 Good
Pros: Spotlessly Clean, lovely breakfast.
Cons: The main thing that let this place down was the surly staff (including the guy who I think was the owner). The girl doing breakfast was pleasant enough though and tried to be hospitable. Staff at the bar and restaurant needed some training in service with a smile.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: All good.

Cons: Nothing

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good central location. They took dogs.
Cons: The room was looking quite tired and old. It was New Years eve, but they were very understaffed in the bar... 2 barstaff serving cocktails to an obviously full restaurant/function. We had to wait ages for a drink. In the morning, breakfast was the same. They didn't have the staff to cope efficiently with a full hotel. All just felt a bit tired and resting on their old reputation.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Was unable to stay the 2 nd night but still had to pay for it
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Central, great location, friendly and helpful staff!
6,0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was excellent, the room was very comfortable, as was the bed, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Dinner was a little disappointing, especially the starters for which we both effectively paid a supplement. If you are going to charge £13 for a starter containing a couple of sliced scallops then everything has to be exceptional. It wasn't. Also, only one starter initially appeared so it had to be sent back to enable it to be served together with its missing twin. Our main area of dissatisfaction is that at £300 for dinner, bed and breakfast (this includes supplement for the meagre scallop dish and ridiculous £10 parking fee), this is not value for money. On balance, we could have spent the money more wisely on a short break somewhere more exotic but that was my mistake.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet and out of the way, but everything I needed was available.
Cons: Just the blinds were a bit hopeless at night so the room was a bit too light for me (a towel over the eyes job).
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The games in the pub Nice cosy fire place Lots of space Friendly staff Staff informative about the local area
Cons: Sausages were dry during breakfast on both days.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: good and varied choice of items for breakfast, hot and cold.
Cons: there were two jugs of milk, one was quite cold, but the other wasn't so, have sometimes had milk in thermos jugs to keep it cooler
5,8 Okay
Pros: Very helpful staff
Cons: Didn't get any sleep. Uncomfortable mattress. Fridge buzzing all night.
5,8 Okay
Cons: Too noisy from the people walking from the ceiling , couldn’t sleep for few hours .

Cons: hard to find building in the dark, building looked like student accommodation.

Cons: Nothing. It was just what I required.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff The Lodge is really close to very pretty cool sites: Tunbridge Wells, Scotney Castle, Bewl Water And there are a few restaurants where you can walk to. Nice to be able to park there too
Cons: It was a little cold when we arrived at the place but the heater worked well!

Cons: Everything was fine
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for town via taxi, easy access. Facilities were clean and comfortable and very reasonable. Staff were friendly and accommodating and excellent communication prior to arrival. Definitely recommend Anand Lodge
10,0 Excellent
Pros: They literally thought of everything you need, and anticipated things I didn't even think I needed. Arrived to be offered snacks, there was filtered water, ear plugs if needed, hot chocolate, very comfortable bed and lovely long bath. The kitchen area had a lot of things available to use, so it was like a bit of self catering too. It was a nice peaceful, comfortable, home from home.
Cons: That I wasn't able to stay longer.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every member of staff that I met was positive, friendly and helpful. Makes a difference!
7,1 Good
Pros: An ok out of town travel hotel
Cons: Towels supplied very worn out. Chipped mug at breakfast
9,0 Excellent
Pros: A nice quiet room with a bath and a shower. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.
Cons: The only fault was the lighting in the bedroom. The only place where the light was bright enough to read was in the bathroom or the lobby outside the bathroom. To read in bed I had to use a torch.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and overall quite clean.
Cons: Rooms do need a bit of a refurb, had a bit of a smokey smell to it. Breakfast could have had more variety. Stayed at a few Mercure hotels before but this wasn’t the best one I’m afraid
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Really loved the hotel overall, Staff were friendly, rooms very clean and cosy and relazing lobby area next tp the bar. Enjoyed afternoon swim and used the steam and sauna facilities.
Cons: I wished there was jacuzzi. The mini pool seemed a waste of space
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I had breakfast sent to my room (I had to be out of the hotel at 06:00 and the earliest it starts in the restaurant is 06:30). I had a cooked breakfast (meet-free as I'm cutting down) but still plenty of options to have. Poached eggs, black pudding, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, beans & mushrooms with coffee, fresh orange & water. Dinner was great! fresh fillet of salmon, with new potatoes and steamed veg & an extra side of steamed greens. Staff were all brilliant, full credit to them for being constantly happy in their work and professional as well as attentive.
Cons: A gym on site would have been brilliant! The pool, steam room & sauna are all great, a gym would be brilliant and expected given it's a nice hotel. I did like that the hotel had used their initiative and worked with a local gym (7 mins drive away) to give free day passes to them - great improv. idea!
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff were very attentive and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Rooms were clean even though a little tired.
Cons: Restaurant service on evenings was slow, despite great waitress service and food was average (microwaved or overcooked). Breakfast was better.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly, nice and quiet in the rooms

6,7 Good
Pros: Easy to find and half way between Pantiles and Tonbridge Wells centre
Cons: Lift wasn’t working which led to all noisy guests passing our room. Sound proofing needs improving as well as lighting levels in room. Breakfast could do with teapots or milk jugs and better quality sausages and beans.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Lift wasn't working and was at the last floor
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great.
Cons: The property could do with some sprucing up.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing value for money. Comfortable double bed, quiet and a great hot shower. TV was a good size and great picture. What else could you ask for? There was a free standing bath but we didn't use it. Bathroom was huge! Ironing board, iron and hairdryer all provided in the room. Will definitely stay again when we are next down. I have paid nearly double the price for a worse room!
Cons: For our second night we didn't get 2x fresh towels even though we did as instructed and left the used towels in the shower. Only one new set was left. We also didn't get tea and coffee refilled.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and location was brilliant.
Cons: The mattress wasn't good
6,7 Good
Pros: convenient location
Cons: it would have been good to have a kettle in the room.

Pros: Stayed for one night due to a wedding at the High Rocks. Location excellent for central Royal Tunbridge Wells. Style of hotel was boutique and ideal for a short stay. Breakfast was continental.
6,8 Good
Pros: It is a very attractive and stylish hotel. Great location near many things. Our room was very good sized.
Cons: My one recommendation would be to include more shelves or a dresser in the room.
6,0 Good
Pros: It was nice to have a larger than normal room, very airy with a handy desk, etc
Cons: No bath, nice shower etc though.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Room decore was nice
Cons: No inroom facilities, poor menu (excuss as because they are in the middle of town you can go out to reasturants), no cooked breakfeast available, staff helpfulness was poor (was taken to the lift and left to my own devises to find the room)
5,2 Okay
Pros: Good location for where i needed to be.
Cons: Rooms were too small especially the bathroom, only a continental breakfast was available and a very limited choice of meals for dinner.
