Pros: The architecture of the hotel itself is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast variety was decent. Cleanliness of rooms was superb.
Cons: Sometimes a delay in room service and response to enquiries.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent attention to detail allround
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Have stayed before, perfect.
Cons: All perfect.
7,5 Good
Pros: I like the food, general staff attention and the quality of all amenities and extra curricular activities.
Cons: This was my first time staying at The Conrad and nearly everything was brilliant from the service to the amenities to the food. However, my partner and I were disappointed with one aspect of our stay. I stayed in Room 117 and had booked through booking.com for a single room with one double bed. Upon getting to the room we noticed that only one robe fit Conor and I, as the other was a much smaller size designed for a female. This was quite embarrassing as we felt it did not cater to us and as a result, we could not wear the second robe to the spa area. This was particularly disappointing as we had checked in over an hour before 3pm, giving our passports to be copied which showed we were two males, while we were told our room was being prepared. I felt this was sufficient time to prepare the room properly. On another occasion, when the in-house cleaning lady came to the room she asked could she enter to clean while I was there. I said yes she could and invited her in, and mentioned my partner was inside. Upon turning the corner she let out a loud gasp, as clearly she did not expect another man to be in the room. This was quite embarrassing for us. I am not usually one to leave negative reviews online, I just wanted to give my feedback regarding these issues as Conor and I were left quite disappointed. The remainder of our experience was excellent and the staff were very friendly, however in these two instances it seemed the nature of our relationship was made feel unwelcomed. I do hope this improves in the future, as literally everything else was five star.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Got married close to the venue and stayed in the Conrad, couldn’t be more impressed with the staff and facilities. Location is amazing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff cannot do enough for you and a small tip for exceptional service is very much appreciated. The gym is well equipped. The pools are great but don't expect the best sun loungers unless you get there early. Not a big loss - we had a cabana which was amazing.
Cons: I speak Portuguese, so expected that if staff did not speak English, they'd speak Portuguese. There are quite a few staff members who don't speak either so you have to revert to sign language.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved our stay at this hotel! So relaxing, great location and lovely pools. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfy. Very reasonable priced and this hotel is in the best location, not in the middle of the marina but on the edge so you don’t get any of the loud noises from the multiple Irish bars ha. I would 100% visit this hotel again!!
Cons: Nothing to complain about
9,6 Excellent
Pros: excellent staff fantastic location extremely well maintained facilities very good breakfast selection comfortable bed and good size room First class hotel and we loved staying here!
Cons: can't think of anything I didn't like
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A really good location for the Marina area and restaurants, the hotel itself is excellent and the facilities are exactly what you need to relax and unwind.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, very nice pool and grounds area and nice that it was within a short walk to the marina with lots of shops and restaurants.
Cons: We were put in a ground floor room right beside the spa that smelled musty so wasn't great.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was good for a short stay. Spa massage was good.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better. The bacon and sausage let it down and it felt more like three star than five.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We had been to the Lake Resort a few years before and we were pleased to find it was at the same high standard. We travelled this time with our 4 month old daughter and it was ideal for a young baby. We simply just stayed on the resort and enjoyed the pool cabanas and loungers and strolled around the grounds. Villamoura is so close that in the evening you can walk for 5 minutes and be at the marina for dinner. Perfect for our needs.
Cons: There was only 1 onsite restaurant open on Monday evening but we did not know. It was completely booked out despite tables being free in the restaurant. It took some time to persuade the restaurant to take us, even though the it did not fill up all evening.

7,5 Good
Pros: Plenty of room in the two bed apartment. Pool areas were lovely with plenty of beds. The marina is a short taxi or shuttle bus ride away and can be walked to in 25 minutes. I had a small issue while there but Dina the hotel manager was very helpful.
Cons: The apartment side of this development is privately owned and needs to be modernised. €50 deposit required in case you lose the keys. No key cards used. Also no facility to swipe and reserve on your credit card so you can charge items to your room. You’re expected to write out your card details and leave them at reception. I didn’t and had some issues. Silly really in 2019
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great - easy to walk or drive to local restaurants etc Accommodation also excellent very much a home from home
Cons: The only gripe for me is that the mats on the beds around the pool have seen better days -many stained, dirty and a number with cuts which should not happenj

Pros: Really lovely apartment with tasteful furnishings. Lovely views over the swimming pool and over to Quinta Lake. Superb terrace for dining and sunbathing. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you needed. Complimentary tea coffee milk etc on arrival. The beds were comfortable and had nice linen and towels. The apartment was really clean and had daily maid service. Excellent location with a short stroll to Quinta Lake and near to a couple of nice restaurants. We couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again.

Pros: Lovely to receive fresh bread & cakes daily to our apartment & lovely & quiet & excellent location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The two bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and perfect for our stay. The complex is quiet, has a lovely vibe and is well maintained. The daily delivery of fresh rolls and pastries was a lovely touch.
Cons: We didn’t use the restaurant so I can’t comment on the quality of food. Our back door didn’t lock but we were on the top floor so it wasn’t a problem.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was lovely, modern & spacious. We particularly liked the complimentary groceries, as we arrived late, and the basket of fresh bread everyday - a nice touch. The gentleman at Reception was most pleasant & helpful.
Cons: I have no complaints other than the properties were quite close together but we were lucky as it was quiet & seemed not every apartment was occupied.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: This property is up a lot of steps so initially when arriving carrying cases it is difficult. However there is a beautiful view of the lake so it more than compensates.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Morning bread
Cons: Shuttle to beach
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great apartment definitely need a car quite isolated.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious apartment with fabulous view from the terrace towards the lake at Quinta do Lago. Very well equipped. And the TV had excellent selection of channels.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and tastefully decorated apartment with plenty of space and three en-suite bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The full size cot provided for our little one was brilliant and included a comfortable mattress (as opposed to the travel cot often provided elsewhere) which he absolutely loved. Location was perfect for the wedding we attended, but you will need to hire a car to get around (unless you just want to use Uber). There are a number of supermarkets within a 10-minute drive and a couple of restaurants within walking distance - notably The Shack, great setting and great food. Fresh bread delivered daily was a lovely touch, too.
Cons: The pool was cold (but refreshing for the short space of time we were in there).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Attention to detail was amazing and the service was beyond excellent
Cons: Nothing

Pros: We have had many visits to Tivoli Marina and location is excellent hotel facilities are excellent.
Cons: Sadly on this visit we made a mistake with the room and didn’t realise the family room wasn’t adequate for 4 as stated, it was the only room left as they were fully booked but sadly we had to book our sons into the hotel down the road. Also bathroom could have been cleaner and blockage in sink cleared which left the bathroom smelly on occasions. General cleaning of the room was not up to usual standard either.

7,9 Good
Pros: The location was great as was the room. Lovely staff. Lovely breakfast.
Cons: Small things needed improving. Staff around the pool could have taken drinks/food orders. The biggest gripe though was that the towel collection area, where you collected towels for the pool, moved to reception. The issue with this was that you were queuing with people booking in/out, and returning wet towels over the reception. Not ideal.

Pros: Everything from the enthusiastic welcome and tour by the housekeeper, to the superb breakfast- fresh figs, plums and grapes, smoked ham, freshly cooked eggs, lovely pastries and coffee with hot milk. The property is an historical treasure, but not gloomy. A fabulous hotel experience
Cons: The lower ground rooms smelt a little fusty
7,9 Good
Pros: Nice welcome, and very interesting property. Excellent breakfast semi outdoors in interesting setting.
Cons: Pool was a little down at heel, Spaces for breakfast limited and as we were not the first entailed a little wait.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the beautiful and unique building. We were only there 1 night so didn't have a chance to enjoy the pool or the patio on our room. Loved that their was an honour bar - great idea! Also had a game of billiards. We liked the setting in Estoi - close enough to Faro but in a pretty and quiet village. Cute little square right outside the hotel where we relaxed with a drink in the afternoon sun at the small local restaurant. We had to leave very early before breakfast was being served but they were kind enough to pack us a few things as a take - away.
Cons: When we first time on the air conditioning in our room, there was quite a musty unpleasant smell which seemed to eventually go away once it ran for awhile. That was the only thing that was a little off.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the warm welcome from Katarina and the lovely history of the building located in the heart of Estoi.

Pros: What I liked the most was the Inn Keeper, Catarina, welcoming, friendly and passionate about her job and property! The tour of the property felt like you were visiting a museum, rich in history and charm. Breakfast was delicious and Catarina will prepare cooked to order eggs to go with the lovely breakfast spread.
Cons: The location was more remote than I anticipated, the town is very, very small but it also had its charm. The mattress was a little firm for my taste.

Pros: Location, hotel facilities and the breakfast.
Cons: Had an ant problem in the bathroom but this was sorted quickly by the staff.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was lovely - welcoming upon arrival with a bright, airy reception area. The staff are, without exception, very friendly - nothing is too much trouble. There is a huge variety of food available for breakfast (and a lovely mix of juices) although we chose to have a cooked breakfast from the buffet each morning and were able to sit outside if we wanted to. There are three pools - the largest of which has a bar alongside which plays music. What is nice is that you don't have to be too far away from the music in order for it to not be heard i.e. it isn't thumping around the entire complex. We chose to sit around the "romantic" pool. which was nice and quiet with a lovely welcoming pool and comfortable beds. The grounds to the hotel are immaculate and are lovely to walk around even when the sun has gone down. Our room overlooked the pool. It had a really comfortable King size bed and a very decently sized bathroom with a bath and a shower. The people who attend the rooms do a cracking job. We spent a little time in the bar which has an extensive drinks menu and from which you can also order food which was lovely. Location-wise, the hotel is in a very quiet area. There is little if any traffic and the walk down to the marina takes about 30 minutes. It is a pleasant walk however, particularly if you use the park-like strip down the middle of the main road leading to the marina. Can recommend a stay at the Hilton Vilamoura.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like - and I'm really clutching at straws here - was the fact the hairdryer in the room could have done with a clean. You know the way the rubber surround can get sticky with use? Well mine could have done with a scrub. That said, my own one at home is much the same so there was no reason for complaint!

Pros: Generally quite an up market hotel with a nice pool area
Cons: The room was noisy, it overlooked the toad and was above the kitchen , some of the staff were less than helpful and thus us a fairly expensive hotel. I would definitely expect a lot more

Pros: The hotel was excellent it was of a high standard and in s great location.

Pros: Loved breakfast, good choices and everything fresh.
Cons: We ate at Cilantro, food was very good but ambience is a bit jaded, would be a huge plus if Hilton would invest in a new look for the restaurant.
6,7 Good
Pros: The room was clean and staff was friendly
Cons: They took 47 € for god 2 kg , spa is not included in the room rate, so they took 40 Euro pour spa and 10 euro for 2 caps plastic for the pool
5,8 Okay
Cons: Used the spa and was told we not allowed to use lockers for our stuff as there for visitors only. Also cost us €50 jus to use the spa facilities, example steam room jacuzzis, didn’t include any treatments. Which I found bizarre paying to use the leisure after paying 1200 to stay there. So everytime we wanted to use steam room, or jacuzzi etc we had to pay €50 Spa was not what was advertised at all. Very disappointing. Also was over charged €600 and had to call to rectify this.

Pros: Excellent position; right in the middle of everything. Next door to the bus station and 5 mins from the railway station and Old Town. Beautiful view over the harbour. Great rooftop pool area which is really well kept with a bar. Pool very large but not heated. Good breakfast including a pianist or band playing. Nice top floor bar with balconies looking over the town and harbour. Rooms clean ( but see below) with kettle and coffee etc Pay the extra for balcony overlooking harbour as it is worth it. A special mention for the breakfast pianist on Thursday morning. Fantastic.
Cons: I would like to see at least one of the rooftop balconies non smoking. The pool water was clean but the actual pool lining looked quite dirty. All Four sets of steps into the pool were moving and felt unsafe. There were packets of crisps ( one open!) left in one of the drawers in the bedroom by previous guest ( not good cleaning). There was a bit of a smell in corridors and room on last day ( sewage type smell) so we had to sleep with windows open ( and then got bitten by mosquitoes but that’s not the hotel’s fault) The big negative would be some of the staff. Very slow service ( or non at all) in the bar in the evening. The last night we ended up leaving. Plus some poor reception staff mainly mornings ( not all; one pm receptionist went to great trouble to alter the drinks in our fridge to ones we like which was great). Not especially welcoming when we arrived and no real help when we asked about places to visit. Eg We asked where to catch the bus to Loule and were told next door but she didn’t explain there were two coach stations and that we needed the Eva bus one not the local one. It would have been so helpful to have known that.

Pros: bacon small and smoky as usual had cheeses and meats some mornings enjoyed the fruits:--peaches, melon ,grapefruit
Cons: you are given a I.D> card and told to carry it with you. we noticed people coming in from outside to have a dance when entertainment on and not even buying a drink. The swimming pool says no towels left on the sun bed .every morning when we went down for breakfast there was some towels on beds. One evening a group of ~20 people dragged chairs together and were making so much noise that we could not hear the guitarist/singer, people were walking out ,even leaving their drink... where was the security??? we left when we fished our drinks.

7,1 Good
Pros: This was our 6th stay at Dom Pedro Marina - Always a joy to stay there. The staff always remember us and are super friendly. We finally got a pool view after asking every year and made a lovely change from the 'carpark view' we usually get lumbered with - so thank you for that :) New sun loungers which were great as you get a shade with them which made laying in the sun that more bearable. Never a struggle to find a bed. We loved it.
Cons: Breakfast - not the best, I feel this goes more down hill each time. It's fine, but could do with a bit of improvement. Drinks / Food from the bar, little expensive. Otherwise, can't fault much else.

Pros: Breakfast was the same everyday which was very boring
Cons: Drinks at the bar are very pricey €15 for a double gin and tonic!

Pros: The bed was really big and the room size was really nice too. Easy to use AC. Good location, close to both the marina and the beach.
Cons: The bed was not particularly comfortable. One of the windows had no net curtain so I could be seen by guests in the pool. The breakfast was average at best - the eggs looked disgusting and wet/slimy. The paintwork, etc. in the room was outdated, as was the general feel and decor of the room.

Pros: Very Nice and Very Clean Hotel with Exellent Location located nearby Villamoura Beach and Villamoura Marina. Very Nice View from the Balcony. The room had large size and was very clean. 3,8 Mediocre
Pros: I didn’t like anything about the entire stay!! This hotel is a million miles away from a 5 star hotel and all the guests I spoke to regarding this agreed.
Cons: Everything from the food to being miss sold a family room that only slept 2 people max to the fact that I was in a shack in the garden which is a 2 star accommodation at best. Then being charged €21 for a brandy that is €7 everywhere else on the complex and €4.50 for a can of bloody Pepsi. Absolute puss takers!! Disgusting attitude from the staff but mainly the managers who are the most condescending people in the world. I will be taking action to get a refund.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience of a nice hotel in Vilamoura. It was nice to have the golf course swimming pool or within a short stroll. Also having an inside and outside bar with light meals being served all day long. The Buffett breakfast was also very enjoyable sitting by the pond with the Swans and ducks swimming around.
Cons: Some staff where very rude.

Pros: The hearty breakfast choices and gorgeous pool area
Cons: The cottage rooms are really outdated and very dark rooms...needs a revamp!!!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The Pestana Vila Sol Hotel is so convenient for golf at the Vila Sol Golf Club, which is literally a few minutes walk. The courses (3 x 9 hole courses) are great, and the clubhouse, food and staff were excellent. The staff in the hotel were very friendly, especially Miguel, the bar manager, who was always smiling and very efficient. We did not stay in the main hotel, but in one of the rooms in the gardens. The bed was huge and the pillows were perfect. Both were so comfortable. The bathroom was also large. The room had good air conditioning and WiFi, and a patio. We ate out every evening, and it was easy to get a taxi into Vilamoura (10 mins and €10) and back again. Lunch at the poolside was just ok, although the burger with cheese and bacon (which was also on the menu at the golf club) was amazing. We would go again to this hotel if we were playing golf.
Cons: The pool was very cold and the sun beds not particularly comfortable The room was not particularly well lit in the evenings when we were getting ready to go out. I would prefer to stay in the main hotel if I go again. We were not keen on the “English” breakfast, i.e. bacon and sausages, but there was plenty of other choices and the coffee was lovely.

Pros: Great facilities. Nice big swimming pool and nice setting. Eating on the terrace was very nice in the evening.
Cons: You need some means of transport if you want to visit the town or local area as it is a long way to walk from the hotel. We hired bicycles for a couple of days which made a big difference.

Pros: An amazing retreat, focussed mainly on health and well-being. Exactly what I needed! I slept for over 12 hours each night, tried the fitness classes on offer and ate the healthy food. A brilliant trip if you want to return home fitter and healthier than when you left!
Cons: I would love the check in time to be earlier to make use of the time there better as I was only on a 3 day trip. It needs heavier weights and mirrors in the gym.
7,1 Good
Cons: The hotel and the staff was really nice however, we have booked this wellness/spa relaxing hotel to enjoy our stay in a calm place, but you should know that a disco is just around the corner, and it is really-really loud, some days we could not sleep till 6 am in the morning. That a little bit distroyed our stay and relaxation. The restaurant is very small, sometimes you need to wait for a free table, but the staff is really nice and helpful.

Pros: The gardens were lovely and we received excellent treatments in the spa
Cons: The room was a good size but it looked a bit tired and possibly needed a revamp
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This is a place to come for a wellness break, detox etc. You can come and not do a detox, I did B&B and was great. but bear in mind you won’t find people by the pool with a beer. Quiet and a short distance from town. A natural & green area. A drive or bus to the beach. You are left to your own devices; the staff do not hassle you and there is no pressure to have any treatments or take part in the classes or programme. A breath of fresh air as most places always try to push the spa on you. I only spoke to the waitress at breakfast most days, it was great for the mind. Staff were great & very friendly. Non fussing. Lovely organised walks with staff & guests. Meaning you get to explore, off the beaten track. Great schedule of classes and activities to join in if you wish. The accommodation (your own apartments) are huge. All have balconies or gardens with seating. The complex is small, only about 20/30 rooms so never crowded. No music by the pool, most places would feel too quiet or lack atmosphere by this, but was perfect for here. Very clean grounds. Would come again to get away from it all and spend time alone.
Cons: Poor pillows. Some new, better supporting pillows would be great. I think they would make more money if they had a nice seating area or bar (even if only selling healthy drinks), where people could go and talk or watch the sunset.
4,7 Okay
Pros: quiet place, near VilaMoura,
Cons: Very old furniture, bad mattress, 16h check in is very annoying

Cons: The room needed a coat of paint, and they seemed suprised that we wanted to eat a meal there! I had expected to be able to play golf within walking distance of the hotel - you need a car to stay here really . A lot of facilities are advertised but are not on site. I had thought we might use a bus but there were no timetables for the bus which was a bit inconvenient.

Pros: The location is great even though its far from shops and beaches.Room is nice, very english style.Swimming pool is situated beautifully, the whole territory is clean and green.
Cons: The staff is very unfriendly, poor english.Cleaning was careless. No additional soap and shampoo is strange for 4 star.Luck of facilities-no possibility to get proper food.Tennis court without lights while the dark time is best to play, when its not so hot.

Pros: A very nice hotel for a low price. Great to spend holidays with children.
Cons: The cleaning could be better and the room should be redecorated. Didn't understand why it is necessary to go to the reception to ask a hair-dryer. The check-in only at 16.00. Had to wait 2 hours for it.

Pros: Swimming pool is very convenient. Space of the rooms was excellent.
Cons: The cleanliness was poor and the cleaning service also poor. Some details of "cheapness" as for example the fact that there was no soap in the toilet. The little convenience store was more than poor with no selection of products whatsoever. Decoration could be improved. There is a disco very close to the hotel and the noise level was such that we had to close the windows to sleep.

Pros: Spacious apt. Quite area. Good views. Easy access. Suggested access - If coming from Faro direction, don't access through main road into Villamoura but rather access through next road marked 'Albufeira'. When you come to a BP petrol station turn into road marked 'Quarteira' and the hotel is just 100 metres away.
