Pros: As a parent, fantastic. Staff make it very special.
Cons: N/a
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel , room was perfect , service friendly and efficient. Will definitely visit again .
Cons: The adults pool , at times did get very noisy with children , diving and splashing , it wasn’t little children it was older teenagers with very loud parents . I thought the top pool was chill out and quiet zone, a little disappointing.
7,5 Good
Pros: Well appointed, comfortable hotel with a good level of service and facilities. Helpful and friendly staff. Decent bar and restaurant menu albeit a little limited.
Cons: Buffet breakfast very bland. Plastic bottles of water at pool, gym.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff good facilities
Cons: expensive for drinks

Pros: Great staff

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Maybe a pool bar would be nice
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was Fabulous.
Cons: I think most of staff around the lower pool were very inexperienced and therefore were not very capable. Ellie however we have seen many times is excellent and vert attentive.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff cannot do enough for you and a small tip for exceptional service is very much appreciated. The gym is well equipped. The pools are great but don't expect the best sun loungers unless you get there early. Not a big loss - we had a cabana which was amazing.
Cons: I speak Portuguese, so expected that if staff did not speak English, they'd speak Portuguese. There are quite a few staff members who don't speak either so you have to revert to sign language.

Pros: Hotel had a air of calmness & therefore able to relax as soon as we arrived... Loved breakfast outside on the terrance... very lovely holiday..
Cons: TV channels were not great.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really nice, never had to wait for tables. The hotel was lovely, the team on deck chair duty were fantastic and really helpful, really close to the Marina too which is great. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for anyone
Cons: Breakfast was lovely but the cook to order station was a little slow, this was a really small thing, it's hard to find something to be honest. Also need some kind of system for queuing but these are really small things in the overall scheme.
7,5 Good
Pros: Very good
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and lovely staff
Cons: I prefer a smaller hotel but the staff managed to give it a small hotel service.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location , Staff very friendly helpful and always polite . Everything enjoyable and relaxing would recommend. As a 5 star property This was our third visit ❤️
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing. Our rooms spotless and. Wet beautiful. The pool area wonderful.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were always friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Restaurants choices were good but would be better with a more distinctive difference between the three. The food at the restaurants was always cooked to a high standard and tasted lovely. Pools were lovely and clean and the Spa was loved by my children who could enter with no problem until 2pm
Cons: Not sure there is anything, I loved the holiday, the week I had was brilliant. My two children aged 14 and 10 loved it as well.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous. The location is fantastic.
Cons: Nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location & cleanliness
Cons: Attitude from staff regarding the sun loungers & there biased behaviour. There’s rules for the locals & rules for others, be very aware on this .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff throughout the stay were exceptional. They all went out of their way to say hello, hold the door and welcome us every morning. Very high quality service but without the pomposity you usually get with a 5 star resort. We travelled with a small baby (9 months) and everyone took time to wave back to her (latest trick) and pay her attention, which she loved. The man-made beach was perfect for children. As was the baby friendly pool. On site restaurants are good and v accommodating with a little one in tow. A brilliant hotel - ideal for families. We will definitely be back.
Cons: The pool bar is expensive and the food/service is poor. Much better can be found on the beach and in Vilamoura. Everywhere else in the hotel is good value for money so the Blue Lagoon bar really stands out as missing the mark/letting the side down.

Pros: Really lovely apartment with tasteful furnishings. Lovely views over the swimming pool and over to Quinta Lake. Superb terrace for dining and sunbathing. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you needed. Complimentary tea coffee milk etc on arrival. The beds were comfortable and had nice linen and towels. The apartment was really clean and had daily maid service. Excellent location with a short stroll to Quinta Lake and near to a couple of nice restaurants. We couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again.
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was lovely, modern & spacious. We particularly liked the complimentary groceries, as we arrived late, and the basket of fresh bread everyday - a nice touch. The gentleman at Reception was most pleasant & helpful.
Cons: I have no complaints other than the properties were quite close together but we were lucky as it was quiet & seemed not every apartment was occupied.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious apartment with fabulous view from the terrace towards the lake at Quinta do Lago. Very well equipped. And the TV had excellent selection of channels.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and tastefully decorated apartment with plenty of space and three en-suite bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The full size cot provided for our little one was brilliant and included a comfortable mattress (as opposed to the travel cot often provided elsewhere) which he absolutely loved. Location was perfect for the wedding we attended, but you will need to hire a car to get around (unless you just want to use Uber). There are a number of supermarkets within a 10-minute drive and a couple of restaurants within walking distance - notably The Shack, great setting and great food. Fresh bread delivered daily was a lovely touch, too.
Cons: The pool was cold (but refreshing for the short space of time we were in there).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and good size apartment with lovely on site amenities and close to additional attractions at the Lake.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: We wanted a drink at the pool bar. We were informed it was closed at 5.50pm when the barman didn’t leave until 6.00pm odd to close a pool bar when it is still sunny! Half term too so was very busy!!!!

Pros: It was all exceptional. The only negative for us was being on the flight path, but you can’t help that.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were really great. Food was excellent. Location is superb (not their fault they are on flight path approaching Faro!). The free port and water and fruit put in daily were a welcome touch.
Cons: For an expensive, 5 star hotel would have expected coffee-maker, iron, etc in room. Coffee at breakfast too weak!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room, 514. We asked for a quiet room on a high floor and you gave us what we asked for.
6,8 Good
Pros: Hot chocolate, location, beach club
Cons: Poor room with no view - really bad as location and views was reason I was there ! Poor breakfast service with heated words in a 15 minute queue for omelettes etc which almost lead to a fight by two groups in front of me - not expected at 5 star hotel - due to no management controls and lacking kitchen facilities .
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and top professional staff. Great location!
Cons: No ecofriendly approach and old fashion decoration.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff fantastic as always especially Barbara restaurant manager
5,0 Okay
Pros: The Guest Manager of the hotel is great and the reservation was a pleasant experience.

Pros: Location, breakfast, great for kids
Cons: Unable to rent an iron during my stay, only 6 available in the entire hotel at a rental deposit fee of €40. Reception unhelpful in this respect. Ants in our 3 rooms, especially in the floor level child bed, housekeeping had no insecticide to get rid of the problem. Ants everywhere! Just an apology from reception, end of!
6,8 Good
Pros: Aquapark was great, the food was excellent and the staff was always kind and helpful.
Cons: There was no direct connection between the hotel and the aquapark. There was very loud music till 23.00, after the músic other guests were very loud till 2.00 am. The air condition system was noisy.

Pros: Everything - food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. Hotel was in good shape. Getting the access to the waterpark was perfect. The activities they offered outside of the hotel was good. We did three of them, and enjoyed them all.
Cons: Noticed that the balcony door couldn't be closed, which created issues with AC and noice/heat. That's it.

Cons: Old, shabby furnitures in some of the rooms
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel lived up to expectations given the money I paid for it. High standard, staff overall positive.
Cons: In twenty years for travel where I had that coffee facilities, I have never been charged for using tea bags or coffee. Wasn’t clear, somewhat disappointed when I settled the bill. The value for money at pool side restaurant was poor for what was served.

Cons: the only thing we didn't like was the non existant kids club, which had no kids and looked boring compared to other hotels

7,0 Good
Pros: Good location, facilities and clean hotel.
Cons: Bar staff made a mistake and charged us for another tables drinks. They didn't immediately refund us the over charged drinks and we had to go back the next day to enquire about the refund.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely Rooms, the frontal Sea views are amazing. Perfect place to relax and just watch the world go by. We celebrated my boyfriends 30th and he also proposed while on the trip, having the Junior suite made the stay a luxury.
Cons: Nothing
6,3 Good
Pros: The hotel is lovely and clean, and this is why we chose to return for a second year running. The porter we frequently saw was lovely and friendly.
Cons: The check in staff weren’t helpful, with Mario on reception being totally rude to us. I had emailed in advance to see if we could have a room in a similar location to last year, and was told in a response to my email that this was an upgrade so would be complimentary if they had one available or possibly at a charge of €75. On arrival we had to pay the additional €75 which was disappointing as it was complimentary the previous year and had made us feel like valued guests. I had also asked in my email prior to arrival if the hotel could do a couple of special touches for my friend who I was travelling with as our return to the hotel was to celebrate her 30th birthday. The reply to the email said of course they would make her feel special however there were no special touches at all, and my email had been ignored. This wasn’t the type of service I would expect from a 5 star hotel. There are other lovely hotels in the area so unfortunately I think as we weren’t made to feel like valued returning customers we would not return to this hotel again which is sad after such a lovely time on our first visit
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, with gate access to the beach. Short walk to lots of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was very good with ample choice each day. Pool area was also great with plenty of sunbeds everyday so no need to fight for beds was a bonus.
Cons: Being told there was a charge of €8.50 corkage to open our bottle wine we had purchased at duty free. I would not expect this considering the price we paid to stay at this hotel!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms, pool was lovely and the location is fab. Just a small walk to the marina and right on the beach.
7,0 Good
Pros: Good position for beach
Cons: Hotel was a little dated for a five star ..
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything I love it..in my room#621, I love the view out side , & they clean every day change the towels & I love the buffet breakfast its perfect
Cons: I wish the swimming pool is open till 12:00pm it's nice to go swimming late at night because of the lights it's so beautiful
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location right next to the beach and of the Marina. Swimming pool and facilities are great. Comfortable room. Especially the bed.
Cons: Service is not 5 star standard. Service in bar and restaurants is really slow despite the numerous staff. Also not very well organised. Peter Pan kids club should have way more energy, it was actually quite boring for the kids.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The children area and the staff for the children is very nice. But so are the other 5 star hotels here.
Cons: The service is very bad. 10 out of 10 times we where at the restaurant or pool bar we had to remind them 2-3 times that we made an order. Even when we only ordered a coffee and water. When we ordered a soup for our 6 year old son we had to ask for a spoon 3 times. If you want a 5 star experience I would not recommend this hotel, I would have had better service at McDonalds then here. They even try to double charge and give you one receipt at the table and then give one more the day after claiming it was never paid. The que to the breakfast is long and there isn't even enough pool towels or pool chairs for everyone here. Not 5 star at all! The spa is also low quality and very small.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great pool. Super clean room and friendly staff.

Pros: Staff were good and very helpful. Very nice building and pool areas. Rooms were excellent.
Cons: Food choice is average. Either a very upmarket restaurant, a fish restaurant or a limited buffet. Very little to do on an evening so you need to leave the hotel to entertain yourself which is limiting as there is nothing in walking distance. Bar area is a little soulless.

Pros: the suite had everything we needed and more. The room was cleaned every day. Excellent service with exceptionally helpful staff. Had the advantage of the Hilton facilities and free shuttle bus into the marine.
Cons: n/a
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Never had breakfast The Resort is made up of two separate parts and has very little to help people with physical disabilities so getting to the restaurants was hard.
Cons: The Staff were friendly and helpful
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were allowed a late check out on our last day which made it a much more relaxing day. The hotel/apartment facilities were excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here
Cons: Noting major but the sofa in our room was a little “tired” and took away from the rest of the area
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The apartment had all conditions for an excellent stay, was very clean and the Kitchen was very well suited for all cooking needs. The breakfast from the Hilton was very good, the Dinner buffet was also good. The pools are very good, the Gym was very well equipped, and overall the hotel was very good.
Cons: The access from the "Cascata" to the Hilton part of the Resort is not that great for Wheelchairs and Baby carriages. We need to go through a staircase between the two parts of the resort, or take a big detour outside it. This should be improved. The Lunch options even though they were tasty, they were lacking. There should be a proper lunch restaurant other than the poolside one, with better lunch options. As I said Breakfast and Dinner were fine.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: breakfast excellent, location good with the free shuttle bus.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location is good Quietness is good Offering is good

Pros: Very comfortable bed and the apartment was generously sized.
Cons: The swimming pools were all very cold. Even the outdoor pool which was supposedly heated and the indoor pool
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast which shared with Hilton hotel. Big room and convienent location. There are kits garden my son loves there.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff the area peaceful and quiet
Cons: The apartment 015 is a little hidden from the pool view due to hedges being planted. The large lounge sofa needs replacing it’s in a terrible state cream leather gone yellow due to the cleaner possibly using cleaning fluid or bleach Only 2 cushions on such a large sofa that needs dumping as very small and flat. The mattresses that had a large dip in the middle on all beds ( 2 bedroom apartment ) needs replacing. Hotel placed a memory foam topper on all of them but still there is a large dip in the middle of all mattresses. Gave my husband and myself backaches through out our 5 nite stay. I called the hotel supervisor or manager but nothing was done. If you require sun on your patio from early morning till 4 don’t choose apartments on the left side towards the restaurant which is on the right. Kitchen is wonderful and very modern as has everything Bathrooms immaculate Large top security entrance door even though we had a problem turning the key which in my opinion the barrel needs replacing . We had breakfast once and is very very expensive 15 euros and is a three star breakfast. A member of stalk who closes down the breakfast bar was rude when I asked her can I get a cake before you close down. Monday morning shift Took a trip down to albuferia in open top bus was quite empty and is very expensive 40 euros for 2 adults For a 9 mile journey one way. Not worth it !!!

Pros: We booked a delux and got a standard. We were very let down by the photos and room accommodation. The staff did not seem happy and the hotel was just not what we would expect from a Hilton. On check out we did not even get asked if we had a good stay they were very rude. With a Hilton you expect more what a big let down. The hotel also took another €77 euros tax in addition to the tax we paid on booking which we were led to believe the full booking price would not be taken until arrival the hotel took full payment three months before we arrived. A very bad experience in Villamoura which is normally fantastic.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hotel. rooms where spotless, pool area was gorgeous and breakfast was excellent with wide choice of foods. Free Shuttle service to the marina was also a plus.
Cons: Couldn’t get a bed by the pool as people seemed to reserve them as soon as the got up but then didn’t use them which was annoying!
7,5 Good
Cons: Absolutely nothing
2,5 Mediocre
Cons: A/C not working, Engineer called, cleared filter but still inadequate. Longest check in ever, receptionist was not good at her job, 20 mins. 2 restaurants, one closed due to private function. Food in bar was awful. Rubbish floating in pools and ponds. Not a good offering
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The latte coffee at breakfast. The staff were exceptional, especially Raquel on reception. So friendly. The pool area was lovely. Every public place was immaculate. Rooms cleaned to perfection. We loved it.
Cons: Nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities when traveling with young children! 7 pools, multiple restaurants, safe environment, good food and amenities and a huge kid's park. Free shuttle service to the Vilamoura marina.
Cons: Stale bread sandwich served on our first day at the restaurant by the pool. Was returned and nothing close happened again.
7,5 Good
Pros: I liked the breakfast, spa and nearby golf courses
Cons: I didn't like that you didn't offer towel service at the beach, found it inconvenient to bring a towel from hotel back and forth to the beach. Not impressed with the restaurant choice at the hotel for dinner.

Pros: Fabulous host in this hidden gem. Rooms big and fresh. Breakfast fabulous with Portuguese tarts and home made cake. Pool great for a morning dip. Restaurant a couple of doors away is fantastic with chalk board menu and local foods.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Katrina is amazing. She led us to the best value restaurant which served my wife the best Salmon plate she ever had! She is full of smiles and good advice.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old building in the centre of Estoi. Room was spacious and had good view of the main square. Host Catarina was extremely helpful and added to our enjoyment of our stay - Estoi is a great base from which to explore the Algarve as it is close to the A22 motorway and is a charming little town
Cons: Very little to criticise - perhaps a little more storage space in the room, such as a chest of drawers. Otherwise no problems whatsoever
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Katarina was a wonderful host and went out of her way to make our stay a memorable one.

Pros: Located opposite the church square a few yards from the bus stop. The quality of the furnishings was really nice,as was the pool. There is a small bar on the square and a few small restaurants nearby.Breakfast was very good. The Palacio gardens in the village are worth a visit.Best of all was the attention given to guests by Catarina, who looked after us really well and couldn't do enough to ensure that we had a wonderful 5 day stay.Well done Catarina!!
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was brilliant. Rooms lovely.
Cons: Litltle to do in the town. Couple of days ok here, but if here any longer would need a car
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really lovely intimate hotel located right on the centre square in Estoi. Catarina was so welcoming and couldn’t have done more. She baked, and I would strongly recommend her banana coconut cake. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet offers plenty including Catarina cooking eggs as you like them.
Cons: The only small issue, and it’s nothing bad about the hotel but as it’s such a central location it was a bit noisy on Saturday night when a snail fesh was happening in the square. The location is fab though just be warned you are right in the centre if anything is happening.

Pros: Great location and view of the beach from balcony perfect. A clean and modern hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location to all facilities. First time in Portugal and we weren’t sure what to expect when we booked this Hotel. It was above expectation.
Cons: Reception greeting could possibly be improved a bit particularly seeing this was our first visit. Some answers to our questions were a bit vague and the grasp of the English language or my Portuguese could improve. Having said this the Hotel facilities were excellent. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day to a very high standard as was the remainder of the Hotel. We booked the breakfast package for our stay and found this a great start to our day with the buffet more than adequate. Good quality restaurants within easy walking distance and plenty of variety to choose from. All in all a top place to stay and we would certainly stay at Dom Jose Beach Hotel again!!
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Breakfast and Lunch Buffet at Restaurant. Food was mediocre. A bigger parking would help too
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Awesome breakfast. We stayed in a sea view room which was very nice and right on the beach. You could fall asleep listening to the waves. Very clean rooms and hotel is spotless and location is excellent.
Cons: Rooms a bit on the cramped side if you wanted to stay a full week, but, crystal clean. I think I wouldn't return to Quarteira as it's not the most beautiful place, but that's not the hotels fault! Cocktails in the beach bar a bit expensive, but good.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location overlooking the beach. Lovely clean & modern hotel. Paid for sea view room which was definitely worth the extra. All the staff were polite & welcoming.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Breakfast is amazing. Location is excellent as it is on the marina with many bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The rooftop pool and bar are an added bonus.

Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms below standard for this level of hotel ( but clean)
5,7 Okay
Pros: Staff were really great, location was good, beds were reasonably comfortable although it was two singles and as we'd just got engaged we wanted a double.
Cons: Wifi didn't work, beds were crammed in- and there were three, when we only needed the one double- room service selection was really poor, facilities were ok but the pool was absolutely freezing, shower leaked everywhere and the bathroom grouting had mould growing on it, room temperature control didn't work so on a hot day was pouring out hot air into the room...to say it was a four star hotel it has two star qualities. Be glad the staff are fantastic because the rest of it was really poor. Would definitely never go back.

Pros: We loved our stay at Vila Belinha. The atmosphere is lovely, the rooms very clean and air conditioned, the breakfast was delicious and Bella and her staff could not have done any more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The Vila is a short walk from Quateria and Vila Sol. Around 20 minutes each way. There are a few lovely restaurants nearby who spoke English too and a Lidl across the road. A taxi from Vilamoura cost around 10euros. You could walk there through Quateria in around 50 minutes.

5,8 Okay
Pros: - Staff overall were great, especially the gym staff, Wilson and the female PT and also the male front of house at reception, I forget his name, I think it began with G. He went out of his way to assist us - Yoga and pilates staff very experienced, great teachers - Chauffered free trip were good - Food was wonderful, tasty and healthy as was organic wine - Apartments were great and very spacious tastefully decorated in grey with candles and an oil burner, very relaxing and a lovely place to spend time. We were given an complimentary upgrade therefore had a beautiful garden vista overlooking the national park - Proximity to the national park is great, within minutes you are in the park and can run/ jog around in beautiful surroundings - Orange scented steam room and sauna were great. As was the tropical shower. - Interesting additional classes on crystals and juices
Cons: -Salt room wasn't working for our entire stay -steamroom sauna area hardly ever had water - dangerous - and floors were hardly ever washed and dirty - no water in gym! - no water in exercise class rooms a lot of the times - pool cleaner left on in pool for all of our last day making it impossible for us to swim - when trying to have a relaxing facial there was very noisy gardening work occurring right outside the room. Asked the therapist twice if she could ask them to stop, she left and came back and said no. Ended up having to leave treatment as not relaxing in any way at all. - Club manager offered a free meal to compensate for the above on our last night - it turned out the free meal was only for me and my partner had to pay for his !! - No water left in room on numerous occasions - had to ask at reception multiple times (more than once a day at times) - Small restaurant only seats 8 tables and is too small for the number of people in the resort - people frequently have to dine outside in the cold - there is often a long wait for breakfast food - despite it all being exactly the same, surely this could be pre-prepared? This is particularly affecting when you have a trip at 9.30 and the breakfast doesn't begin until 8.30. If you arrive early it is not well received. - Treatments are too expensive - 125 euros is standard and they do not last the entire length they are meant to finishing early. - We did not get our essential oil for the oil burner or tea in the room on arrival. We had to ask for these. - Only one small restaurant with limited menu - the rooms have a kitchen however the nearest supermarket is a 30 min walk away along a street with no pavement where cars speed past you! - You are an hours walk from Villamura - again not all of the walk there has pavements (although 3/4s of it does).
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, close enough to Vilamoura but also at the entrance of Vilamoura which means you can go out easily . It is quiet and surrounded by nature so you dont feel like you are in busy Algarve. The rooms have the right amount of comfort. The pool area is lovely. The options of fitness classes, walks and yoga with access to spa area is really worthwhile.Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much. The breakfast choices are simple but there is no food waste this way and you end up eating the right amount.
Cons: Some of the furnishings needed a bit of a facelift eg a rusty hanging lamp in bedroom but room was very well cleaned
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, relaxed, spacious rooms.
Cons: Remote, expensive to get into Vilamoura.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It is a very peaceful place tucked away with lovely views, large rooms, healthy eating and wonderfully relaxing treatments. The staff are so friendly, particularly Pedro and Sofia who sorted out an initial booking problem very quickly and couldn’t have been more helpful during my stay.
Cons: Only criticism is that the main pool was not warm enough for me to swim in but they had a wonderful hot tub!
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfully relaxing, great pool, extremely quiet and fantastic breakfast. Easy to get around with a rental car.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent. Rooms large, clean and comfortable. Would book again. Great location for going to Vilamoura Atlantic tour
8,0 Excellent
Pros: It Is a Small resort and The swimming pool Is never crowded. The staff Is friendly and helpful. More staff proactivity would be very much appreciated.
Cons: Our apartment (n.4) Is near a local disco and The Music may bother at night. The apartment need maintenance; we had to tell what needed to be fixed upon our arrival.
6,8 Good
Pros: The staff is amazing. We wanted to leave after the first night, out of 3 but they did everything they could to compensate. A special mention to Gio at the reception. He is incredibly nice and would help you as much as he can. Jenny also help us get our breafast in the room as we were exhausted and the phone was not working... I had to go to the reception. Melanie the afternoon manager offered a lunch. The massages are good. Rooms are comfortable. Thank to the staff....we ll keep the address!
Cons: A lot of things were not working: lights, phone etc. Towels were not clean. The ceiling on the bathtub was full of humidity. Around the pool everything is full of dust and spiderweb.... The property is nice but the facilities are not a 4 stars.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: An amazing stay! Every thing was perfect from the staff through to the food. Can not fault a thing!
Cons: Nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: This is a place to come for a wellness break, detox etc. You can come and not do a detox, I did B&B and was great. but bear in mind you won’t find people by the pool with a beer. Quiet and a short distance from town. A natural & green area. A drive or bus to the beach. You are left to your own devices; the staff do not hassle you and there is no pressure to have any treatments or take part in the classes or programme. A breath of fresh air as most places always try to push the spa on you. I only spoke to the waitress at breakfast most days, it was great for the mind. Staff were great & very friendly. Non fussing. Lovely organised walks with staff & guests. Meaning you get to explore, off the beaten track. Great schedule of classes and activities to join in if you wish. The accommodation (your own apartments) are huge. All have balconies or gardens with seating. The complex is small, only about 20/30 rooms so never crowded. No music by the pool, most places would feel too quiet or lack atmosphere by this, but was perfect for here. Very clean grounds. Would come again to get away from it all and spend time alone.
Cons: Poor pillows. Some new, better supporting pillows would be great. I think they would make more money if they had a nice seating area or bar (even if only selling healthy drinks), where people could go and talk or watch the sunset.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was a fabulous relaxing experience from start to finish. The staff were super. Especially Pedro and Gio. I would highly recommend.
Cons: The Spa treatments I thought were somewhat over priced.
4,7 Okay
Pros: quiet place, near VilaMoura,
Cons: Very old furniture, bad mattress, 16h check in is very annoying
5,0 Okay
Pros: The swimming pool was lovely and a good size, with friendly bar staff and very convenient from the room we were allocated. the room was clean and the air conditioning a bonus.
Cons: The room needed a coat of paint, and they seemed suprised that we wanted to eat a meal there! I had expected to be able to play golf within walking distance of the hotel - you need a car to stay here really . A lot of facilities are advertised but are not on site. I had thought we might use a bus but there were no timetables for the bus which was a bit inconvenient.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Pool Bar and swimming pool
Cons: Rooms are very shabby, badly overdue a refurbishment
4,7 Okay
Pros: The location is great even though its far from shops and beaches.Room is nice, very english style.Swimming pool is situated beautifully, the whole territory is clean and green.
Cons: The staff is very unfriendly, poor english.Cleaning was careless. No additional soap and shampoo is strange for 4 star.Luck of facilities-no possibility to get proper food.Tennis court without lights while the dark time is best to play, when its not so hot.
5,3 Okay
Pros: A very nice hotel for a low price. Great to spend holidays with children.
Cons: The cleaning could be better and the room should be redecorated. Didn't understand why it is necessary to go to the reception to ask a hair-dryer. The check-in only at 16.00. Had to wait 2 hours for it.
3,6 Mediocre
Pros: Swimming pool is very convenient. Space of the rooms was excellent.
Cons: The cleanliness was poor and the cleaning service also poor. Some details of "cheapness" as for example the fact that there was no soap in the toilet. The little convenience store was more than poor with no selection of products whatsoever. Decoration could be improved. There is a disco very close to the hotel and the noise level was such that we had to close the windows to sleep.

Pros: The staff were particularly friendly
Cons: a little far out

Pros: Spacious apt. Quite area. Good views. Easy access. Suggested access - If coming from Faro direction, don't access through main road into Villamoura but rather access through next road marked 'Albufeira'. When you come to a BP petrol station turn into road marked 'Quarteira' and the hotel is just 100 metres away.

Pros: I liked the location and the pool. The free spa was a bonus and I had a lovely facial there.
Cons: There was always a queue at reception and more staff at busy times would be better. Breakfast was very busy
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The dinner was all sea food based not a lot of choice but the breakfast was good with variety of choices the plates were stained not the cleanest to put your food on
Cons: Choices of food for dinner could be improved with chicken or meat added as everything was seafood based the cutlery and plates weren’t the cleanest I’ve seen no matter how good the food might be

2,5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room smell no clim
5,5 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The fact that we had no balcony in the triple room and found it very difficult to dry anything. The breakfast is the worst breakfast We’ve ever had. They had cocktail sausages and without doubt the worst scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. Some days we went to the marina and had a proper breakfast imo. There was also an incident on are 3 rd night as we were all having an evening drink a rat scurrying about 8 feet from us and when we pointed it out to a bar man he said “Oh it happens sometimes “ and then went on to say it was a mouse as if that’s ok !!! My wife had a meeting W the manager and they should her al the rentakill paperwork. Vilamoura is very pretty but I’ll never be back to this hotel it’s a 3 star at very best with 4 star prices.

7,0 Good
Pros: Great location close to the beach, very nice garden and pool area
Cons: - not well informed personnel - a girl from reception recommended to us to buy train ticket to Lisbona at train station instead of online as planned, saying it is safer (?), we spent 4 hours waiting for 2nd next train and were lucky to got tickets at all! - a little boring breakfests, no vegetables except tomatos, mostly British food
9,5 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful hotel all round. Lovely facilities, wonderful location, immaculately clean. Would highly recommend
Cons: Sunbeds could have had a bit of padding for greater comfort. Would have liked the pool to be a bit cooler as it was more like a bath.
4,5 Okay

7,5 Good
Pros: Ample and great location. Very Clean and big room.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The Dom Pedro has a large and lovely outside area. If you wanted space and to be quiet you could.
Cons: Bedrooms a little dated, but I would not describe it as tired rather more traditional or old fashioned. Bar area and lounge more modern.
