Pros: Staff and facilities perfect and brilliant. I recommend to any person wanting to travel and go to the bush for a romantic getaway , it is the most amazing place to go to with all the big Five game.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Driving up to the lodge was like going on a private safari, and the accommodation had a resort vibe. We had a warm welcome from the friendly staff on arrival with a drink on the deck. It was such a treat to sit in a beautiful spot and have the animals come to the waterhole to drink right in front of us! We saw elephants, zebra, impala, hyena, and a wild dog in the space of one afternoon! Fantastic photo opportunity! Highly recommended for a unique experience of Africa.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and obliging. Common areas were beautiful, comfortable and relaxing with great views and great sightings at the waterhole. 'Happy', the game ranger absolutely enthusiastic, friendly & knowledgeable tracking down that lion outside the lodge on the last night was such a highlight. Such an awesome experience.
Cons: Casart is a beautiful lodge, however Pumba (our lodge) could do with an upgrade of linen. Also, whilst meals are prepared with great care and are tasty, they're quite expensive for options offered. However it should be noted that staff were quite obliging to offer alternates when time permitted.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Would of loved to of had WiFi available in room.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The whole atmosphere is very friendly, relaxing and specially attentive. The location at a small hill is spectacular. The food is very tasty. The staff is extremely nice and the owner Sonja is a very charming and attentive person. The safari tours with Happy are very professional, so we could see a lot of animals including lions and elephants. In general a fair price for what they offer.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very attentive and service was very personalised. The dinner that we had added on was great. We had springbok carpaccio and it totally exceeded my expectations. My husband enjoyed the chicken chutney very much as well. The view from the deck looks out to a watering hole and if you were lucky, you could see animals coming to drink water. We also booked a private game drive with the lodge and our guide, Happy, was fantastic. He is extremely knowledgeable about the bush, very friendly and personable, has a great eye for wildlife and immense passion for whatever he's doing as well. Even though the game drive was a little pricey, it was worth every cent. Our stay there was very enjoyable and great thanks to the other staff Moses, Yann, and Stanford too!
Cons: Nothing to do with the lodge but a tip to would-be visiting drivers - rent a SUV and/or a 4WD as the road in is rather rocky and unpleasant to drive on in a regular sedan.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staf! Ranger Happy knew a lot about the nature, animals and birds. And we were suprised with a free upgrade to the rondavel with jacuzzi. We would definitely come again. Thanks Sonia, Mozes, Stageman, Stanford, Happy and all other staf members.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: The fact that there is no tv.

5,0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast is good
Cons: The restaurant is getting worse. Menu choice small and not good quality. Staff in the bar has no time for guests. Cell phone more important. Since 10 years we came here and after the owners changed you can see how it went worse every year. Pity so much big travelgroups . Probably they dont give enough “tip”, so staff is not motivated.
7,0 Good
Pros: Yes I will
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The property was 3 minutes by car to the Kruger Park Phalaworba gate which was very practical.
Cons: The AC was not working.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The three bedroom house was too spacious and clean.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The buffet breakfast. The neatness
Cons: Nothing everything was perfect
5,4 Okay
Pros: Request for double bed honoured. Beautiful lights. Lovely furniture
Cons: Staff incompetence and unfriendliness. Staff not professional at all. The receptionist was rude and she did not have our bookings ready eventhough bookings.com confirmed the payment. The receptionist became defensive upon us asking her to enquire from her Manager. She did not even offer an apology after realising that she didn't do her job in checking our bookings confirmation. The lady at the bar was unfriendly, cold unprofessional and worse she spoke to us in her own language (Tsonga) eventhough we dont speak Tsonga. We found this very rude. Our bookings for the evening game drive safari was lost by the receptionist. They wanted us to complete another booking for the evening safari and when we came back, they failed to organise the safari braai like we booked. This really upset my partner and I as we felt that we were not offered the professional service we paid for. We are not happy with the Sefapane staff at all

Pros: It’s real bed in the bush ! Elephants etc. lovely place.
Cons: The dirt road out of Phalaborwa is shocking.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What a wonderful, amazing place! Super relaxing and we really spent a great time at The Bed In The Bush. The name is really right. The house is surrounded by many acres of private land and in the middle of bush and wild animals. In front of the house there is a water hole and on the first evening we saw elephants and antelopes. On the second day our son grabbed three chairs: one for snacks and drinks, one for camera, binoculars and animal lexicon and one for himself. So he just sat on the waterhole terrace all day watching animals - and he saw a lot of them and was very happy. The house is very stylish, the owner is an interior designer, which can be seen everywhere. The staff is very friendly and attentive. After we prepared dinner in the evening and had eaten on the terrace (with simultaneous wildlife watching :-)) came one of the staff, and took care of the dishes with the comment: "You are on vacation, make yourself comfortable. Dish washing is one of my jobs. :-) " Breakfast is another highlight: freshly cut fruit and yogurt on the table, coffee, tea and hot chocolate, all sorts of eggs with bacon and toast. All this coupled with very good service is a really good start to the day. We have the "The Bed In The Bush" on our list of places to go back to.
Cons: For making it completly perfect it would be great if some light dinner would be offered for later arrivals. On the first day we arrived when it was dark and we haven't brought food to prepare dinner with us. So we used our snacks which was ok. An offer of a light dinner like a sandwich would have completed the already superior performance of the place.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The place was filthy, no blankets provided there were cockroaches everywhere The owner ignored my calls so we ended up leaving
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Home away from home! Peaceful!
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The place is so quiet, good if all you want is sit and watch wild animals come to you. Very private. I loved it . As it was our anniversary me and my wife, it gave us the best of both worlds...
7,9 Good
Pros: Very nice and clean place, also quite I really enjoyed out stay.
Cons: The gravel road
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were lucky enough to be the only people staying at Tingala Lodge for our stay. What a beautiful place to stay with wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for us! The waterhole by the property means you can be sitting sipping a glass of wine or having breakfast and be watching Elephants, Impala or Warthogs right in front of you. Breakfast was delicious and their recommendations of what to do in the area and a Safari guide for the park were perfect.

Room was very comfortable and cosy, just what we needed after 24 hours of traveling from the UK. Went for a lovely meal at one of the local restaurants recommend by the owner and had a fantastic breakfast in the morning prepared by our host. Great stop before heading into Kruger National Park.
