Pros: Outstanding! As a regular traveller, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. We booked a junior suite and got upgraded to a senior suite which was absolutely amazing and huge! The location is fantastic with most museums, the Opera house and Stephansplatz all within walking distance and the service was superb as was the breakfast. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

Cons: Found the overall staff service to be lacking. Concierge typically jumps at opportunity to provide service/advice but not here. For the most part, the hotel bars and restaurants are over-hyped and completely over-priced with much better alternatives just a few steps away (both quality and price). Smell of stale smoke hits you just as you enter the building - thanks to a smoking lounge conveniently located on the second level. Hotel wifi is a total joke and not to be relied upon. Hotel includes restricted wifi with your room rate and asks ridiculous payment for slight improvement. In my experience even budget accommodations provide this service infinitely better. Overall, this is a stuffy hotel situated for the stuffy traveler. Sounds of enjoyment or laughter are non-existent in common areas, which speaks volumes. Call yourself luxury, and pay for memberships in luxury hotel associations all you want - it doesn't make it so.

Cons: I asked for a two car transfer at the reception to the airport. At first they booked two mini-vans. When I left they thought to be smart enough and ordered just one. As a result we had an unpleasant trip with skis poking us in heads. I have no other problems but incompetence

Cons: The staff try to be welcoming, but we had the feeling is that they work more to maximize the economic yeld than to entice customers to return. At the check in we ask for a room with a view, and they told that we have a room with a view at Palace. When we arrived in the room we saw that the view was in the interior yard of the hotel and the didn't changed our room. The breakfast is poor in choices for 23 euros/pers.

The room is spacious and well appointed with all necessities a traveller might require, there is also free minibar with soft drinks. Nice breakfast with a lot of different food options. You restaurant has a short menu but their food is good as well as the service and ambiance.

Cons: Beds were tiny - used to a king and had that in the hotel in Prague just before so seemed especially small. Also, couldn't get the heat turned down even with windows open in winter. Hotel was spotless and service great.

Cons: The wifi in this hotel is as bad as in so many other Vienna hotels. Free wifi is available, but requires a 12 digit/letter code and a separate code for phone, tablet, laptop etc. It only lasts twenty four hours so on a three day trip with three devices you are coding nine times. The signal has an annoying habit of cutting out. This is not a major complaint, but it should also not be a major issue for the hotel to resolve. Even in Vienna there are hotels which can offer simple, strong continuous wifi for multiple devices.

Cons: The toilet smells awfull! Like it had never been cleaned-up ever! We were there in 2018 and we had the same problem. Apparently the cleaning staff have no problem whatsoever.... The lighting is very poor, too many lighting sources but still not enough. Some rooms were being remade and although I informed the reception, the workers were smoking and all the smoke could be felt on the coridor. Also they were noisy from 7am, laughing in the garden... lt was a bad experience overall and I will never come back! The parking was too expensive.

The shower head detached after regular usage. The house keeping did not replace the napkins in the shower for several days in a row (the napkin box was empty).

Cons: It seemed they were in process of redoing the wiring there is floor cover everywhere. The hotel is not as same standard as Salzburg they have no tea/coffee in rooms, no gown/slippers, and no chocolate on bed on arrival. I feel the hotel could improve. The light above the bed and the switch is in the wrong place as you tend to hit your head or hand on it as I found out by turning the light on in my sleep.

The hotel itself while undergoing renovations is delightful as the rooms have been renovated, walk in showers and good lighting. Also sparsely populated w go FB make for ease of relaxing; bed, two chairs a small table and the TV on a stand. I was in a corner room and had full windows on two sides which provided fantastic views of the city and great natural light. Breakfast provided many options; too many and easy to get full on something you find available.

Pros: Great location and able to walk into center area from the hotel. Also on the U & S lines so easy to get to/from the train station. The hotel itself while undergoing renovations is delightful as the rooms have been renovated, walk in showers and good lighting. Also sparsely populated w go FB make for ease of relaxing; bed, two chairs a small table and the TV on a stand. I was in a corner room and had full windows on two sides which provided fantastic views of the city and great natural light. Breakfast provided many options; too many and easy to get full on something you find available.
Cons: Entrance on Mitte square open, but this will likely occur when renovations completed.

Pros: Very clean, good amenities (did not even get to use the gym or other things there), very friendly, helpful staff; good location right near underground station. Bartender was great-- we went to the bar just after closing and he still offered to serve us.
Cons: The shower was very confusing to operate-- I felt like a needed an engineering degree to adjust temperature and adjust water flow. Also, the room was a bit too warm & stuffy despite being able to open the top of the window and the a/c did not blow cold.

Pros: Location was central with the metro across the road. Travel to the centre of Vienna was just 1 stop. Easily walkable too.
Cons: Amenities in the bathroom were standard but not as good as other hotels we stayed in across Austria

Cons: So the one thing that was awful, they used to have a mini bar, that was then converted into a fridge, it was filthy, and smelled like mildew. They also had not cleaned the kettle. It really took the star rating down for me.
