Pros: The staff were very friendly, the room was very nice and good soundproofing. Breakfast was basic, yet quite satisfying. I would definitely book with them again.
Cons: On the second floor I could not get a wifi connection. I had an Apple and an Android and neither would connect. I called the front desk and the solution was that "devices are working down here" which is not outstanding customer service, but overall it was a minor inconvenience. Maybe boost the signal or at least offer to restart the router.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Staff was SUPER friendly! The room was more than we expected. Enjoyed the decor. Parking was easy and included. Breakfast was served to our room on time. . Placing as our number 1 place to stay when we come back to Baltimore.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, luxurious room with amazing hot tub. Great location, extremely friendly staff, and delicious breakfast included!
6,0 Good
Pros: Well made breakfasts with very good service. Good location and can walk to inner harbor. Free parking waas also a nice perk. Separate room for child was key.
Cons: When checking in, hair was on the daybed, half drunk bottle of water on a chair, and only one ratty bathrobe provided with missing tie-string. Notified staff about missing robe, but nothing done. Toilet seat was broken, which shouldn't be the case when paying that much for a room. Couldn't tell if towels were clean or not because the way they were hung. Only one very small bottle of body wash provided when checking in.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful place, huge room and bath, lovely and helpful staff, great location.

Pros: Beautiful house, excellent breakfasts, great location close to everything but on a quiet street, knowledgeable and friendly staff. All around great b&b. Breakfast was delicious with great coffee, tea, and juice, fresh fruit, and hot entrees. Very accommodating host allowed us to check in early and store our bags after check out. Easy walking distance to both stadiums, Babe Ruth museum, and Lexington Market. Received recommendations for dinner and everything was on point. Highly recommend and would certainly stay here again.

Cons: Location was great for Camden Yards (2 minute walk) and short walk to Inner Harbor. Linda was super host, knowledgeable about history and great breakfast maker. She goes above and beyond.
7,5 Good
Pros: Linda the owner is an amazing woman who puts her heart into everything she does. I didn’t want to leave, I felt so at home and taken care of while I was there. And the house is insanely beautiful.
Cons: There was nothing bad about my stay. I will always go there when I travel to Baltimore.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent in every way. A class act.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is what I dreamed a Bed and Breakfast should be, but never experienced before. It is a restored historic home, with elegant appointments, spacious rooms, and modern amenities.
Cons: Some choices at breakfast, such as eggs instead of pancakes, would have been nice. I'm sure they would have accommodated me if I had asked ahead of time, but I didn't think to do so. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Sexy room! All you need for a couples getaway is there. Restaurants and shopping. Great location!
7,1 Good
Pros: Great view of Inner Harbor. Great housekeeping (2x day), corridors and furnishings very nice. Convenient underground parking. Friendly staff.
Cons: Hated the fact there is no bar in lobby area. We tried on 4 occasions to go to bar just outside hotel or bar at top of hotel; there was no seating available. Upstairs bar more of a nightclub, with a tiresome routine to get in — though it did look like a nice place. Lobby always smells of food — bacon in the morning, steak in the evening— even though there’s no restaurant there. Lobby not welcoming, furniture sized for Oompa Loompas, no couches.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location cannot be beat. Also it's brand new so facilities are spotless

Pros: Expensive but you get what you pay for. Presumably the best hotel in Baltimore

10,0 Excellent
Pros: BlancNoir was a perfect spot for my recent stay in Baltimore. The entry is unassuming, leading to a wonderful set of rooms/suites inside. The location is fantastic - in the heart of Little Italy, and just a 5-10 minute walk to the Inner Harbor. The room (New York) was very comfortable, spacious, beautiful bathroom with jacuzzi tub and a mutli-head shower. I really couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for a great stay.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Tanya and Bill are consummate hosts. They are a wonderful couple who take pride in their facility. Breakfast was fabulous.
Cons: Everything was great. No complaints.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about Blancnoir. From the time we arrived to the time we left it was very comfortable and inviting. We were welcomed right away. It had a home feel to it rather than the feeling of a hotel where you check in and go about your way. The knew which reservation I was and what room I was in. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a relaxing weekend away. We were only about a 5 minute walk from a lot of restaurants and plenty of things to do. The location couldn't have been any better, no busy streets right outside with a bunch of noise. The breakfast was a bit different being that we didn't know anybody at the table but it was fun once we started talking to one another. I will definitely be going back for another visit in the near future

Pros: Food and location
Cons: Need a TV in the bathroom for he jacuzzi

Cons: Nothing!
7,0 Good
Pros: Liked the location & the outside seating area.
Cons: Furnishings were a little tired in the lobby.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted a hotel with a water view, the room was beyond our expectations for comfort and cleanliness.
Cons: Upon checking out we were hit with an extra charge for the wine that was supposed to be complementary in the evening and the 10 o’clock Grand Marnier party. I asked what if we did not partake in either one, they said we’re going to pay anyway. I felt this was very unfair and just milking us a little bit. Our room was cleaned very very late in the afternoon and the rubber mat was not returned to the bathtub nor were we given fresh shampoo and conditioner. The remote in the room is very confusing and shuts off the controller and we had a difficult time with turning the television on.

Pros: The location right on the walking path on the harbor is great. It’s midway between the Inner Harbor and Fells Point — both are easy to get to on foot.
Cons: Not much dining selection. There was no hot tub and the outdoor pool deck had no furniture. Also, in my room there were two problems with furniture — stuck drawer and a sharp object sticking out of upholstery that scratched me when I close the curt

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about our stay at 2920 was fabulous. I do not know where to begin when saying what a wonderful place this was. Warren and David were the best hosts that you could ask for. They prepared a great and surprising breakfast each morning leaving your imagination wondering what surprises they had up their sleeves for the next day. The room was perfect size and well air-conditioned it also was very clean and tidy. We even had Felix the goldfish to keep us company even though he did not say much (LOL). I would recommend 2920 to anyone visiting this area.

Pros: The Inn is so comfortable. Everything, from checkin to checkout, was easy, with no pressure.
Cons: We loved everything.

Pros: David and Warren were very welcoming. Prior to my visit I was not certain about my arrival time, so I sent a couple of (potentially annoying) messages and they were very fast to respond, friendly, and easy to work with. Breakfast was very nice; however, let them know in advance if you are meat or pork free.

Overview Reviews
Discover a downtown Baltimore hotel in one of the city’s oldest and most charming neighborhoods. Amid the grand mansions of Maryland’s 19th-century movers and shakers, this national landmark historic district is now home to vibrant theaters, museums, galleries, shops and restaurants.
7,4 Good
Pros: This hotel has a great location and friendly staff. It has a nice, old-fashioned feel which gives it a romantic quality for the price. The decor and furniture are attractive and classic, albeit a bit shabby when examined closely. We were particularly impressed with the bathroom in our corner room, which was filled with marble tiles and a towel warmer. Everything was clean and pleasant. The bar/restaurant attached is a nice place for cocktails as well, especially as a warm-up for a night out in the wonderful area of Mt. Vernon. This neighborhood is desirable for those from out of town, and this hotel provided good prices and an overall pleasant stay.
Cons: Parking can be an issue; they have valet service (for between $20-$35) that I recommend to anyone not familiar with the neighborhood (we had lived around the corner years before, so knew how to find good parking sports). Additionally, we were staying during an extremely cold (below average temperatures) weekend, and found everything to be a little chilly. On top, we found that the bed was made with only three small pillows and a thin blanket (fine for one person, but there were two of us). When we asked for an extra blanket and pillows later that night, the front desk sadly informed us that they had run out due to a high demand of requests. While they were very sorry, it does seem strange that they had dressed the bed in so few pillows and blankets to begin with, though I understand the need to go for a more minimalist approach in order to conserve energy, etc (and do respect that).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Staff, view, price! Stay here!
Cons: Nothing
6,5 Good
Pros: Decor and room were beautiful.
Cons: There was street construction all night, starting at midnight until the next morning when. We checked out. We called for earplugs but the hotel didn’t offer. We barely slept and when I spoke to the manager he had nothing to offer further than an apology for our disturbance. The restaurant has a good view. The food was just ok.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I love the location and vibe of this hotel. Each room is unique. Local art everywhere. Topside restaurant is amazing! Awesome view of the monument from the top floor.
Cons: I wish there was another option for parking other than $38 valet.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION Beautiful view of the square. Room décor very nice. BED very comfortable. Too much street noise on a Tuesday morning, and was on the 9th floor. Staff friendliness upon arrival.
Cons: No coffee service for the morning, LACK of service at the square meal for breakfast. Street noise waking me early on a Tuesday morning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right off the highway with easy access in and out. We had an early morning flight and got to the airport in 15 minutes.
4,5 Okay
Pros: It's in a good location.
Cons: Hotel is old and well-worn - in desperate need of a rehab. Despite the Joie de Vivre name, the desk clerk on our arrival was decidedly not happy. We booked a two-bed room and got a king with a too-short foldaway cot, and on one of the coldest days of the year they did not have any spare blankets, so we were given three sheets instead. For $80 a night it would have been ok - for twice that, it was a ripoff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Funky vibe, laid back, great location and in and out Valet parking not that we used it as we walked everywhere.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the vintage vibe with the cool chicness of it all. I spent New Years Eve into New Years Day and it was the perfect place to stay for a young hip vibe. We were even given an upgrade to a junior suite and it was amazing. The staff was fabulous and super helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was incredible. I loved every detail all the way down to the subway tile in the bathroom. The Topside Bar is a must try and the karaoke is sooo much fun and you’ll never be bored with all the boardgames in the lobby area. I highly recommend for people who like a city vibe without all the noise but still wants to have an exclusive feel to their stay. Awesome place and i cannot wait to stay again!
Cons: That i didn’t book another night
8,0 Excellent
Pros: nice bed, room
Cons: no room service past 8. Not a lot of food options..... understaffed!
5,0 Okay
Pros: The staff was nice, which mildly made up for the fact that it's a stretch to call this place a functional hotel. It's more of a room you can rent with the possibility of staff who can compensate poor planning
Cons: They had no clue how to be a hotel. Room service menu in the room, associated with the restaurant in the hotel... no one answered the room service, so I went to the restaurant and asked if we could order the full menu to the room...they said maybe?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every design detail was amazing, I would decorate my house in everything here! Such a cool place. Food and drinks were also great.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was really clean and quiet
Cons: Just parking but i already knew that
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing, room was clean and airy. We enjoyed staying there.
Cons: I wish the suite had kitchen, as other Inn-type of hotels. I was a bit surprised that it did not have a small kitchen nor dishes. But the staff shared some, and in the end we had wonderful stay. So, I had wrong expectations.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It was close to a lot of attractions and restaurants.
Cons: I didn’t like when the elevator broke and we had to walk up and down the steps and especially during check out day carrying those bags and suitcase down the steps.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. This is helpful when there are few breakfast restaurants in the immediate area. The bathroom was clean and the shower was fabulous.
Cons: The open shower is a bit too open and water is able to pool on the floor next to the door. This may pose a problem in the future.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was pretty good
Cons: A fridge or microwave in the room
7,1 Good
Pros: Clean and close to everything.
Cons: Should have breakfast start and end time on website. Also let people know that there is a 24 hr coffee/tea station in lobby. Man named Larry in kitchen was in everyone's way, talking loudly about football with his coworkers/buddies, had no regard for guests, bumped into me twice. Was more worried about his friends and getting them breakfast. Everyone else was pleasant and accommodating .
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff
Cons: My room didn’t have a fridge.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location - within walking distance to a lot of the great tourist-y places in Inner Harbor. The charm of the hotel is cute and quirky and room was very clean. Breakfast has a good variety.
Cons: The parking situation left a lot to be desired. It's tricky to find where to pull-in, the valet fee is high, and it's incredibly hard to pull out of the lot as there's ALWAYS traffic blocking the exit. Not valet staff's fault, but still frustrating.

Pros: The staff was very professional and helpful. The room and main bed were comfortable.
Cons: The convertible couch in the king suite was very uncomfortable and lumpy. If there were more than two people in this room they would find it very uncomfortable to use this convertible couch. I feel a hotel such as this should have a better couch.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Although it does not have room service the free breakfast was a plus and really tasty too. The staff was so friendly and made me feel very welcome and safe.
Cons: I did not like that it does not have smoking rooms. A lot of people that travels are smokers so I think it would be a wonderful ides if you guys can come up with a room for smokers to go to and relax while enjoying a cigarette and a glass of wine.

Pros: The staff.
Cons: No.

Pros: The location.
Cons: The Pool is not really kid friendly with the bar and drinkers standing around the walls of the shallow end.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Location. Parking on site and you get a swipe card to leave as often as you'd like and you don't have to pay for parking at checkout.
Cons: Check in was a pain. The mattress and pillows were hard as a rock and the sheets were like hospital sheets. Rooms incredibly noisy and small for the price. No microwave or coffee maker in the room. Toilet was like a public restroom toilet.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the inner harbor convenient to everything. Very nice helpful staff
Cons: The price for parking is ridiculous. Parking should be free or at least discounted for hotel guests.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. Close to everything at inner harbor and close to Camden Yard. We walked all around the inner Harbor for several hours and it was nice to be just a few steps away from the hotel.

Pros: Location, View perfect,,polite staff ,

Pros: The room view was great
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great view. Room was clean. Quick walk to everything at Inner Harbor.
Cons: Our room was by the exit stairs and the hallway smelled like car exhaust (4th floor). There were several people loudly cussing while we were waiting for others in the lobby. Not so great with kids, but I do not know if that's the norm or not.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff members were extremely nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and spacious!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, Inner Harbor. Excellent dinner at hotel restaurant.
Cons: Outdoor rooftop pool very small.
7,5 Good
Pros: Very nice and Clean place.
Cons: They have two types of parking. Valet and self parking. Valet is 40 something a day and self parking (what I did) was $30 a day. That’s a charge that will sneak up on you. Especially if you stay more than one night. Not to mention they have their own parking deck. At this point their charging just to charge.

Pros: Skywalk to the inner harbor and the location

Pros: The breakfast was very good and the staff was very nice.
Cons: The hotel is located in a area full of homeless people. I went to baltimore for a meeting and was planning to walk to the convention center. It was too close to get a taxi and too scary to walk. Ended up “running” to the convention center. I would not stay there if the plan is to go to the convention center. The building is also old. One elevator and the heating system broke during my stay.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Room and location. Ease by which date change was managed.
Cons: Having to go back to front desk 3 times for correct room key. Particularly perturbed because 2nd time I was given key to an occupied room. Occupant opened the door after hearing me at the door....could have ended badly...this is Baltimore. No apology provided, although concern on my part was submitted on morning of 12/17/19.

Pros: Location
7,9 Good
Pros: The walking track was a big plus. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The multi-use with a student like environment instead of feeling like I’m in a classy hotel. The cafeteria was not what I was expecting at all. I really hoped for a “dining experience” not a school cafeteria. I did like that the breakfast was included in my stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean as a whistle, located on a beautiful property with lots of trees and hills -- even some deer! And yet still only a couple minutes from I-83, so it's really convenient.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I stay here regularly for work. Safe parking, room, and breakfast as highlights.
Cons: Traffic in the morning to downtown can be difficult. Just a heads up, not the hotel's fault.
6,0 Good
Pros: Extremely convenient location for visiting family in the are. Front desk staff vey professional and personable.
Cons: First full day, housekeeping staff turned off the heat and left sliding glass door open. Room was in the 50s when we returned. We were too tired too desire a change to another room, so simply dealt with it. Next morning, breakfast room ran out of coffee. That was reported to desk at least 3 times. No replenishment of breakfast foods.

Pros: The hotel restaurant
Cons: Our room was in the furthest room from the elevator...and it was a very long walk. One of the beds sheets were either dirty or had machine oil? on them.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The food selection could have been a little better for the price. I chose to visit the hotel bar the first night and had room service for the entire day the next day and each time (excluding breakfast) was not the best quality food.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room and bathroom were excellent. I particularly liked the shower.
Cons: The fact that they charge you for WiFi at 13 bucks a day if you want it in your room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the late check out
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A pool would have been great along with the fitness center. The room service food was not a good value. Poor quality for the price. Staff and room were great. Great location. There are enough other restaurants in the area to eat elsewhere. The hotel property felt safe and had good security but just beyond the doors the city of Baltimore needs to do something to make it feel safer for families; and we were there in the middle of the winter. The Harbor area has so much to offer for families yet we feel much safer walking around cities like Philadelphia and NYC.
Cons: Room Service food quality was poor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our experience was amazing, from the time Kevin checked us in to excellent customer service from Gary. Gary went above and beyond! Thank you.
Cons: The Ravens lost! :(

Cons: Nothing it was as expected
1,0 Poor
Pros: Daytime staff very friendly and helpful. Evening check in staff markedly disinterested in helping until it was obvious I wasn’t going away.
Cons: Wrong information was provided about the parking situation. I called and explicitly asked if my vehicle would fit into the parking garage or if they had outdoor parking. I was wrontold I could go “into our garage“ I repeated twice that I was 9

Pros: This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff is great, and they foster an awesome community vibe there. The building is clean, and actually a very charming space. It felt like home away from home. Also, they have free meals sometimes, which is fabulous! All you have to do is help to cook and clean up the mess! Loved it!
Cons: Baltimore is not exactly the safest city I've ever been to, nor is it a particularly glamorous place... but that is certainly not the hostel's fault! I think the staff did a good job of showing off the best parts of Baltimore to guests.
