Pros: The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and the breakfast was lovely.
Cons: There was a slight mouldy smell in the bathroom.
Cons: Parking was actually cheeper if done at the nearby multi-storey
Pros: The staff were all really friendly, Maria, Jess, Luke and Tereza remembered me from previous visits. The rooms were always clean and comfy. Breakfast was a good selection. Location and parking very handy for travelling around
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: Parking was in a local car park and and extra cost of £8 No breakfast included made it too expensive It was a business stay for my self and my son so none of the options of traveller apply
Cons: That Kayak charged me one third as much again for the booking. The rack rate was MUCH cheaper. Parking is not easy and expensive if you use nearby underground garage.
Pros: Beautiful big room - plenty of work space and close to all ameanities

Cons: No heating
Pros: Local to the town centre and university and also had parking for residents.
Cons: Bed was a bit uncomfortable and also the room we stayed in was close to the main roundabout, there was a lot of traffic noise through the night.
Pros: Location, it was very good value for money, we managed to park in the underground car park which was good. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, but that didn’t have any effect on our stay. Would definitely stay there again
Cons: The rooms were a bit dated, especially the bathrooms, but they were spotlessly clean
Cons: I was asked to change room most inconvenient decided to leave two days early due to the uncertainties of public transport for getting back home. Was not impressed when checking out the guys attitude was poor to say the least I have always respected the staff and appreciate their job is not easy the way he offered me a £54.00 off a stay only if used in the next six months it was not the offer that upset me it was his total disrespect for me basically telling me take it or leave it as my room was £135 a night I expected to be treated in a better manner
Pros: All of it
Cons: Loved it all
Pros: Coronavirus meant that there wasn't much open. The rooms could do with a refresh.
Cons: The rooms could be updated
Pros: Great interior design, nice touches in the room and bath, nicely sized room, great restaurant. Overall really enjoyed my stay.
Cons: Shower took quite a while to warm up. Exterior could do with some updating.

Pros: The bedroom was nice and the location of the hotel was very central
Cons: The bathroom was badly in need of refurbishment. Looked like it hadn't been upgraded for years. We stayed at the crowne plaza at Heathrow which was fabulous and we wrongly thought the Plymouth one would be a similar standard
Pros: Location , parking under hotel
Cons: Lobby updated rooms Old and in need of an update
Pros: Staff ,location ,and some nice personal touch for me
Cons: Great place there was two things that let it down for me .small bathroom and wasn't able to eat in the restaurant because of a evening do .
Pros: As above
Cons: Ideal location in Plymouth views from room fantastic
Pros: The position of the hotel is excellent, everything we wished to see within walking distance. The view from our room was magnificent as was the view from the restaurant on the top floor. Breakfast was extremely good & the coffee was hot!! There is a good size swimming pool & it is a bonus to have a decent size car park. We liked that we could eat at the hotel in the evening when it was too wet to go out to eat!
Cons: Our bathroom was FREEZING!! We discovered a draft coming in under the shelf above the toilet which we draped towels over & then blocked the bathroom door with a cover from the bed. This did improve the coldness that went into our bedroom. We did not complain as we felt that the problem wasn't an easy fix & since we were only there 3 days & out all day it wasn't worth it. But we definitely would have done if it had been a week long stay.

Pros: An excellent central location near the main shopping area and the Hoe, my stay was in a very comfortable and clean room. The receptionist was very professional and helpful. Decent wi-fi. Really good value for such a nice hotel, I was very impressed! Highly recommended.
Pros: The breakfast was very good, a lovely spacious room for 3 adults. Location fantastic for watching live shows at the pavilion.
Pros: Close to theatre
Cons: Went to watch a show with a few girls, ideally placed, clean
Pros: Good breakfast and the children enjoyed the pool.
Cons: One side of the Hotel was a bit noisy. We booked 2 rooms, one was fine, but the other noisy. The hot tap also ran orange water in the morning!
Pros: I liked the fact that the room was lovely, the bed was super comfortable. I liked that the hotel has multiple areas such as the ball room, bar, gym, swimming pool including the sauna and steam room. Another thing I liked about the property is that it’s close to the town and easy to get to places.
Cons: The only thing that we noticed was that there was a few crumbs on the floor in our room but other than that everything else was really clean.
Cons: I booked for 2 nights with ongoing 1 night bookings because of covid 19 (I have stayed over 40 nights this year) I talked with the manager on the afternoon of the 3rd night and told him I did not need the room as the facility I was working in had to close due to covid 19 but was charged for the night regardless.
Pros: Everything, professional staff, clean, comfortable, fab facilities, great location
Pros: Stayed before whilst visiting our eldest who's at the Uni. Stayed last night to take him back today. Great location, friendly and welcoming staff. Easy to get around the City. £3 daily parking. Can't fault it. Not eaten here so can't comment on the food/restaurant or gym facilities as not used them. Definitely stay again.
The Duke of Cornwall Hotel is a defining figure in Plymouths past and its present. A landmark hotel built in 1863, the Duke has endured at the heart of this maritime city for over a century and a half since. Surviving two World Wars and radical changes in its surrounding environment, the hotel stands as a strong and steadfast connection to days gone by. Its splendid Victorian gothic architecture drew admiration then and makes even more of a statement in the contemporary cityscape. The Duke of Cornwall Hotel is the perfect place to stay in Plymouth. The hotels 72 uniquely decorated bedrooms include single, double and twin rooms, so theres an option to suit every need. Plus, the hotels Superior and Luxury ranges which include sensational four-poster suites offer extra space and features for special occasions or indulgent treats. Whether youre visiting Plymouth for business or pleasure, or attending a special event, a night at the Duke is always an experience to enjoy
Pros: The building the bed lovely place to stay
Cons: Beautiful building great historic building
Pros: Everything was very good.
Cons: Not a thing.
Pros: Very comfortable room
Pros: Staff amazing - went above and beyond given the current situation. Would highly recommend.
Cons: No faults to be found anywhere or with anything
Pros: The staff
Cons: Small bathroom
Cons: The lift was out of order staying on the 5th floor with a knee injury was not ideal. Although service life was shown was not available in the morning due to being full of laundry. The room had not been fully cleaned beforehand, thus was evident when I found a single dirty sock (not mine) under the lamp stand. The pillows were not good, may as well not had any could do with replacing them as very flat.
We never like to leave our guests hungry or thirsty. So from the hearty breakfast buffet (cooked and continental) to the 24hr bar and café, we'll set you up with snacks and drinks whenever you need them. If you're lucky enough to be with us during nice weather, our bar's terrace is a pleasant place to kick back with a drink and good company. And don't forget, we're one of the few hotel chains that are happy to welcome pets as well as their owners, so bring them along for moorland walks and seaside fun!

Pros: Excellent and attentive hosts, very comfortable rooms.
Pros: I trust this is the Imperial Guest House and not the Hotel? We stayed at the excellent Imperial Guest House and comments, therefore, relate to the GH rather than the hotel of the same name nearby. Very impressive on every front. Parking a little problem but staff were very helpful with that just as they were with all else. Strongly recommend.

Pros: Comfortable, relaxed, clean, hospitable.
Pros: Breakfast was substantial and good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful. Request for a quiet room was honoured which was appreciated given the long journey.
