Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent location ith free easy parking. Room was beautiful with arge comfy bed. Excellently clean with little touches like Fudge and quality cornish biscuits. Chris was warm and welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast choice was really good and excellent quality. We had a great seaview. Licted centrally but away from the noise of the town, ideally situated for restaurants and transport.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hosts made u feel that you are part of their family. Very warm and putting the efford to make your staying as pleasant as possible. They had made an efford to accommodate my gluten free and vegan nutrition needs. Love the biscuits at the room ;-)
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 10,0

Excellent 10,0

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Breakfast was nice served in your own personal dining room next to the bedroom. Room was huge 4 poster bed was really comfortable and everything was done to a high standard.
Cons: Nothing really ... Ideal location to explore Lands End and surrounding area. St Michael's mount was a short drive away. Parking is on street and pot luck though managed to get close to property when we arrived and again when we popped out later in the evening.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I was given the warmest of welcomes and was so comfortable in my room and private breakfast area too. It was spotlessly clean and fresh and I had a delicious breakfast. It was great value for money and the perfect start to my Cornwall trip.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The owner really made an effort to adjust to the distancing rules with a little private dining room, the bedroom was spotless and the host was lovely welcoming and friendly
Cons: Nothing reallu
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very attentive and accommodating hosts (without being overbearing). Lovely home, great facilities and very nice breakfast. Highly recommend!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Wonderful hosts. Very punctual when replying to messages before our stay. Very accommodating and provided us with pillows and blankets to take with us to the Minak theatre. Incredible breakfast cooked to perfection!! Thanks very much would definitely recommend!!
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: the room size (twin) was really good and we had a separated own living room. The bathroom was actually just a shower cabinet with a toilet in front of the shower cabin. Really small but it was ok for 1 night stay. The breakfast was really lovely and delivered on exact agreed time. The system what Nikki and Jon created to provide breakfast and enjoyable stay during this Covid 19 is really appreciated and worked very well. They are really lovely. They were really flexible and helped us to check in really early and we could leave our luggage at their place just to give us chance to visit an another city. Thank you so much!
Cons: The house was a bit cold because it was already cold outside but the radiators couldn't warm our rooms up. We were a bit cold during the night.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Really great couple running this B & B. Rooms were extremely clean, well kept and comfortable. Great ensuite shower. Breakfast was also a very good standard. Close to the sea front and the town centre. Just be aware if you have a vehicle as there is no street parking during the day. I used a car park at the top of the road which was only £1.90 for 24 hours and was only a 5 minute walk. Overall very happy with my stay and would recommend to anyone. Thanks Nikki and Jon for you hospitality.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean, spacious, comfortable, luxurious and lovely food.
Cons: Couldn't fault It. Excellent breakfast .
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Excellent location, parking was not an issue at all to our surprise and delight. Breakfast was great - Nikki and John were very accommodating with a vegetarian who doesn't like egg. We breakfasted well every day! Because of covid-19 you get a small suite rather than a room so we had a twin bedded room (all that was left when we booked) and an extra room with a breakfast bar and sofa plus a loo and shower room. If the weather had been miserable we'd have been quite happy in our little kingdom! Due care and attention paid to hygiene etc so we felt quite safe.
Cons: Hard to find fault. Personally I like a flat white or latte coffee with my breakfast rather than a cafetiere coffee - so investment in a barrista type coffee machine might be worth considering. The shower and loo had been shoehorned into a small space but we're a small couple but I can see others might struggle. And you had to wash your hands in the bedroom as there was no sink in the shower room and the other sink didn't work.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: We had a fantastic stay at Torwood House and everything was perfect- from the room to the breakfast to the location. The hosts were really wonderful and had thought of absolutely everything !
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Excellent breakfast options with a great hot breakfast menu alongside cereals, delicious croissants, fruit, yoghurts, juices and hot drinks. The owner Lynda was lovely and very welcoming. It's a short walk to the promenade and very near to a nice park. The room had a television with Netflix, terrestrial TV and an ensuite.
Cons: There were no spare plug sockets for phone and camera chargers, so we had to unplug the kettle, lamps and fridge. This could be easily solved with multi plug adaptors. The shower was quite low powered too.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfast was really delicious. Very kind staff
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Pictures don't do the room justice, the design and the colours are very cute, and our room was also quite spacious. The host was very nice and welcoming, and overall we had a comfortable stay. The property is a 20-minute walk away from the railway station and the main bus station. But, it is also 5 minutes away from the beach, the promenade, a supermarket, and a bus stop from which you can catch a bus to Lands end, Sennen cove etc.
Cons: Squeeky floors and thin walls as can be expected in such an old property, but nothing too loud.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location was fab! 15 min walk to the train station to get the train to st Ives for £5 return! Beautiful morning walk with the pooch down to see the sun rise. Friendly locals always saying hello to us. Great pubs walking distance. Coop just around the corner. As well as kfc and mc Donald’s meaning a cheaper take away meal available. Great breakfast! The sausages were yummy! Great to have a selection of dvds to watch. Huge bed! Dog friendly was fantastic our dog loved it!!
Cons: The shower was a little small for the bigger human. And couldn’t move away from the water. Shower could of done with a extra clean especially with Covid.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Lovely place, met all expectations
Cons: Nothing

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Friendly hosts, nice breakfast, rooms comfy and cleaned to high standard, would definitely recommend 👏👏👏😃
Cons: Leaving!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The house is very comfortable in all aspects and very well located in a lovely street. Breakfast is top notch and Richard and Sarah are delightful - they make you feel welcome and work hard to make your stay perfect. Wish we had stayed longer than two nights - I definitely recommend this place!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Breakfast lovely. Great location for getting about. Parking on the road.
Cons: Bedroom and bathroom was small and no headroom if over 6 foot. No space for sink in bathroom
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything. It was clean, the lighting as you come into the property at night time is calming, cosy, and not harsh. The rooms are spacious, well lit, clean and the bed was the comfiest ever it made getting up so hard. The windows actually open. Really nice touches in the room regards to fresh (not uht) milk in the fridge in the room which is a bonus in itself, a coffee press, wine glasses etc. Clean and welcoming. Hosts were fabulous and breakfast was amazing and varied and I can’t find a fault with what was offered.
Cons: Check out a bit early (10:30 - so depending on your definition of early) but with COVID and the need to deeper clean the rooms this is understandable and still reasonable and not a deal breaker by any means.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Fantastic couple running it. Very welcoming! Vegan breakfast option was amazing and very tasty. Covid safe!
Cons: Bed was very squeaky! That's the only bad thing I can say. Apart from that it was a perfect stay.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Packed breakfast. Location very good.
Cons: Everything was very good.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The house is lovely and the breakfast was great! A lot of choice and the hollandaise sauce was amazing! The staff was really nice and friendly! They also provided us with masks! The location is great! It is not too far from the sea! We also found a parking easily in front of the house!
Cons: The place where we had breakfast was a bit small! The house is a bit old you can hear other guests when they close their doors!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Good location. Excellent breakfast.

Excellent 9,2
Pros: The house is beautifully restored and very comfortably furnished. Our room was large and nicely decorated. Fabulous view! The hosts are charming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent!
Cons: I would have liked larger towels and perhaps drinking chocolate on the tray in the bedroom. The bathroom is a little tired. The windows rattled when it was windy, so we wedged them with folded paper. The view is fabulous, but the road is a bit noisy.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Large room, very clean, en-suite, large comfy bed, fab view, beautiful 19th century house, fine quality tableware (Wedgewood) and linen, excellent breakfast, Guest parking, friendly, attentive hosts.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Wonderful breakfasts with many choices; hosts Tom and Melanie were kind, knowledgeable, and fun to talk with. Our room was large and sunny, with a spectacular view over Mount Bay. We could easily walk to restaurants in the town and to the beach. We would love to return!
Cons: We liked everything, and that is rare for us!
Good 6,7
Pros: view from window of room great
Cons: i booked thinking this was a hotel with full facilities for example evening meal and bar i think its worth knowing that this is a b & b not an hotel
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Superb food and presentation, speedily prepared and with a welcoming and helpful approach.
Cons: Soft background music (perhaps classical?) would have softened the rather quiet atmosphere. Croissants and pastries at breakfast would be a useful supplement.
Okay 5,4
Pros: Breakfast was very well presented and in a pleasant room overlooking the sea.
Cons: Seaview room was a partial seaview, television so small you need binoculars to see it. Supposed to be a double room, only suitable for a single in my opinion. Because the room was small the bed was too, I'm about 5' 11" tall and had to sleep with my feet hanging out of the bottom of the bed. Windows rattled if it was windy - all this could be yours for £125 per night.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Friendly knowledgeable staff always happy to help. Comfortable beds, rooms clean . Central location .Did'nt need to use the car ,which made it more relaxing .Breathtaking views from the windows.
Cons: Liked it all.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Very close to the railway & coach station. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Very clean and comfortable room. Fast WiFi etc. Lovely pool. The food was excellent.
Cons: I decent stroll into the town and on a very steep hill. Worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Breakfast and reception staff very pleasant & helpful
Cons: Specifically requested twin beds as two friends travelling together, request confirmed, but bed made up as king when we arrived. The lovely young lady at reception came up to redo the bed, we had to help her split the beds and make them up. The twin beds then only had a tiny space between them, too close for comfort really.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything was perfect
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Lovely see view
Cons: The first room we had was modern but the second room for the same price had very dated furniture, both rooms the beds were very comfortable. The second bedroom only had blinds and not curtains which is not acceptable for a 4star, as they don't block out the light and again looked very dated.
Good 7,0
Pros: food was excellent - both the breakfasts and the evening meal i had on my first night. The reception and cleaning and porter staff were very friendly and welcoming. In particular Lisa on reception and night porter who were happy to answer some of my questions related to my job interview the following day. My dogs were made to feel very welcome and at no point did i feel that they were a burden or a problem because they were wet.
Cons: The draught beer was very poor - flat. I would say that since the beer was the local brewery's and was delicious when i had it in a local pub. I suspect this is because the staff have not had sufficient training in cellar management.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Really impressive property. Beautiful view from room, restaurant and lounge.
Cons: Everything was great

Good 7,0
Pros: Nice breakfast, convient location.
Cons: Weak shower, loud water system
Good 6,0
Pros: The staff were great here, very friendly and we had a good dinner and tasty breakfast. The hotel is OK, the room was clean but a bit tired and the bathroom was tiny. It is in a good spot for the train station and transport links that makes it a bit noisy - ask for a room facing the side street.
Cons: Rooms need updating
Excellent 8,0

Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was very clean and welcoming. It was easy to find and close to the seafront
Good 7,0
Pros: Good location. Clean and comfy room. Easy check in.
Cons: We have problems with the toilet. Remaining things were ok.
Good 6,0
Pros: The location was very good and the breakfast was good.
Cons: The place is advertised as 4 stars but facilities don’t seem like it. The room was quite small, cracked tiles in the bathroom, the shower head was awful, not toiletries ( only soap and shower gel). Also there was a big spiderweb on the ceiling. Everything looked quite worn. Only three parking spaces, you can park on the street, but not always available spaces.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Cosy place, comfy bed, great service, delicious breakfast
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Breakfast was good and easy to takeaway.fresh fruit salad and homemade yogurt excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. A good location on a quiet road.
Cons: Two flights of stairs to our room.no lift as indicated,so no surprise
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Breakfast was amazing, easy to order and delivered on time every morning! My boyfriend LOVED the homemade yoghurt! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to town and the sea! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
Cons: It was a little loud as people checked out/ outside our room (room 1) but nothing major, just hustle and bustle.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean , friendly , simple
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,0
Pros: All excellent
Cons: We had said we were taking our breakfast on the Scillonian but were given incompletely sealed cups of milk which leaked into the paper carrier bag which split in the queue for the boat. Otherwise great
Okay 5,0
Pros: The bed was soft unlike what we are used to but amazingly we slept well! So I assume it's a memory foam mattresses, anyway, we both slept well , even though a soft mattress!
Cons: The breakfast was very disappointing and in our opinion a token effort that just wasn't worth it! Not even like a nice picnic as it was a realy dry and unappealing picnic left in a jiffy bag outside your room! When we pay for bed and breakfast, we expect a breakfast too. Where as we understand that when the lock down measures were more strict before the 17th May, but not so much since 17th May and you are able to serve a hearty breakfast again now as all restaurants and other B&B's and hotels do! On booking. Com it started we were able to have our breakfast in the dining room if we wished and we didn't have to pre order items to be left outside our room! However, upon arrival it was clear we didn't have a choice and we had to pre order this so called jiffy bag breakfast! We wouldn't have stayed had we know we weren't able to have a hearty breakfast, especially needing one before our exstreamly long journey home to Portsmouth today!

Mediocre 3,0
Pros: Breakfast was good, tasty and quick. View from breakfast room was good. Location was good. Clean room.

Good 7,0
Pros: Great near town
Cons: The departure time of 9am on a Saturday morning
Excellent 9,6
Pros: self catering only therefore no breakfast
Cons: The kitchen needs converting into a residential kitchen with maybe a breakfast table and definitely needs a dish washer.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The decor and ambience, garden and location. Absolutely beautiful! Loved the fireplace set up ready for us to light with silver birch logs. Loved the parrot tulips and bluebells in the gardens. We played hide and seek with our little grandchildren in the house last evening and in the garden this morning. Great catering kitchen for fried breakfasts. Loved the silver teapot and silver cutlery. It was all excellent!
Cons: Nothing. It was wonderful!
