Pros: If it was occasionally possible to rate a stay 11 out of 10, it would be my rating. Ros and Keith’s level of customer service ( and breakfast making) is outstanding.

Pros: Everything - friendly, great food & beautiful guest home. Very clean and great position for Newquay & surrounding areas. Thank you
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was amazing which had a great selection of hot and cold food options. The poached eggs and bacon were incredible. The hosts clearly love what they do and make you feel very welcome. They have great tips for where to eat and visit. The room was clean and well maintained with a shower which gave plenty of hot water whenever you needed it. The pub nearby is great and it is located very close to Porth Beach which had very few people on it despite how beautiful it is. The South West Coast Path is just across the road from Rolling Waves.

Pros: The welcome at Trevarrian Lodge is warm and friendly. Well maintained and clean B&B with excellent facilities, nicely decorated rooms and comfortable beds. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac with a lovely family friendly pub that serves good meals at the top of the road. Just a short drive to the beautiful bay of Mawgan Porth with its lovely sandy beach. shops, chip shop and a pub - great on a warm summers day. It is a short drive along the beautiful coast to the exquisite Watergate Bay, a must for all, then on to lovely Porth Bay and then in to the main town of Newquay with all the amenities and activities anyone could require. With so much to see and do its good that the breakfast at Trevarrian Lodge is excellent - from the large choices at the cold buffet to the superb Full English, there is no better way to start your day. All in all a wonderful place to stay that is great value for money. Many thanks to Declan and Jean for wonderful time.
Cons: Nothing - Can not think of anything. Declan and Jean do everything they can to make any stay a pleasant and comfortable one. There is fresh fruit, cooled water, biscuits, and sweets for all guests to help themselves to. In the guest's lounge there is a small fridge stocked with chocolate bars and cold drinks and packets of biscuits and crisps which are available to purchase by paying the listed price in to the honesty box. A great B&B run by a great couple :-)

Cons: found the room to hot
Okay 4,3
Pros: Bathroom and bedroom had high standard of cleanlinss
Cons: Despite advertisement outside the property we were unable to book any evening meal, evening meal only available if one booked it first thing in the morning, hardly applicable to a B&B when arriving at 1600hrs. We had to leave at 0630 in the morning and not even the most simple breakfast was available until 0800
Good 7,3
Pros: Convenient, clean, friendly and comfortable.
Good 6,3
Pros: Very helpful staff and the breakfast was really good. I liked the way we were given our own key to come and go by a side door. The tea and coffee facilities were generous.
Cons: The bed was rather hard and I would prefer cotton sheets. Also, the shower was small and I would prefer a screen rather than a curtain as the curtain tends to stick to your body.

Pros: Very nice couple, listen to us what we like, accommodated our needs
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Comfortable and very clean We had parking onsite- but not sure if parking would present a problem in high season as there were lots of cars parked on the street at this time of year.
Cons: If I had to say there were any drawbacks it would have to be the staircase which was quite narrow for me to navigate with my stick.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Hosts fantastic, breakfast excellent could not fault at all. Well done
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Cons: This place is a haven indeed. Situated in a nice quiet location easy access to the beach, Lusty Glaze and Porth and town centre. The hosts are nice hard working people and they give 100% to make you feel welcome and safe. And this is the cleanest place we have ever been accomodated. So clean actually, I walked around bare feet and felt safe. We rented the sea view room and we loved it. The breakfast was excellent and even with this pandemic they have made efforts to ensure all the new regulations are followed. Thank you for everything! We felt safe and well looked after and we will come back. A place like this needs to be in business for eons! Big hug for John and Kay!!!

Excellent 8,3
Pros: Good stay and location
Cons: Nobody at the property after 10:30pm
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were attentive, check in was a breeze and very informative. The bar was lovely with beautiful views. Again the bar staff were phenomenal. The room was spacious and airy. I cannot find any fault and I will be back for another visit!
Cons: Nothing.
Good 6,3
Pros: It was professional, with better facilities than expected. The communal areas were elegant.
Cons: Poor communication. We had to find out the systems for newspapers, extensions, baggage, facilities etc ourselves. On a short visit this was frustrating.
Good 7,7
Pros: As a single woman I felt comfortable - nice room a twin not a poky tiny single - staff were professional
Cons: It was quite expensive for a single person but I needed something close to the airport as I was a late evening flight
Good 6,0
Pros: The conservatory was lovely, we were only there one night so did not have a chance to use all facilities
Cons: There was nowhere to put the shower head while showering, other than holding it, which was poor, and the bath panel had a crack in it.
Good 6,7
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was excellent and great value in a superb location.
Cons: The lack of a wall fixing for the shower in the bathroom meant you had to hold it when showering which was a bit of a nuisance and as it can be easily fixed it is strange that it has not been done.
Good 7,0
Pros: Very friendly staff and lovely views over the Porth Beach and headlands
Cons: Bed and pillows not the most comfortable

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room plenty big enough for a single person and a good size shower with a nice big bath sheet to dry off with. Excellent food - plenty of choices for breakfast and the evening meals were absolutely superb. Everyone really friendly and welcoming.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Really friendly and accommodating, Great value and a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
Good 7,5
Pros: The view was amazing and the location was also outstandingl. But the shower had no water pressure and the bedroom was nice but not luxurious, I expected more for the price of the hotel. Not good value for money. We stayed the next night in Padstow at the Harbour Hotel, had a sea view and the hotel was amazing for only £10 more than this hotel. We always seemed to speak to the chef, he was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the staff friendly. This hotel is definitely for long term repeat clients.
Cons: Shower needs pressure
Excellent 10,0

Pros: The staff were all great, really helpful and friendly. Location is perfect - away from the tourists in Newquay with a fantastic view over Porth beach.
Cons: Water pressure was very low and paper thin walls!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfasts were excellent as were the 2 evening meals we had. The gardens are lovely. We were in Room 3 which was quite small but comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful as well. We had a lovely week.
Cons: Slightly bigger room with bigger window to enjoy the view would have been great.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The owners and staff were faultless, helpful and kind.
Cons: Literally nothing

Pros: This hotel is a special place: a stunning location and a beautiful hotel with its stylish Art Deco features and gorgeous art everywhere. Family friendly with tranquil spaces to escape with a book. Log fires, aromatherapy oils, gallery, gym, ocean views...My favourite hotel.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Noise in the evening across the beach
Excellent 9,6

Excellent 9,0
Pros: It was a comfortable stay in a well-designed hotel and excellent facilities. Breakfast was generally good and the distance to the beach was reasonable.
Cons: WiFi was weak. Cleanliness could be improved (when I pay over £200 per night I do expect cleanliness to be exceptional!)

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything, have stayed a couple of times now and will be returning... it's a stunning place and beautiful spot
Cons: Only problem I had is that the extractor fan in the bathroom broke meaning it started screaming in the middle of the night and woke me up... my own fault for not turning off the bathroom light I guess but this wasn't the hotels fault..
Good 7,9
Pros: The staff at both reception and in the restaurant were very welcoming, polite, helpful and offered a very conscientious service.
Cons: Could have had a double bed in a room containing 3 singles
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Rooms are brilliant whole place is fantastic
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very slow internet Beds hard and pillows not great quality and not that comfy .. either very hard or very soft
Cons: More choice of healthier food and vegan/ veggie food. Better choice of bread at breakfast, non dairy milk and yoghurt. And non dairy margarine. I had to keep asking which is annoying and makes you feel different. Beds a bit hard and pillows not great.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great Inn. Very spacious, clean, homey, lovely staff. Amazing beer garden at the back.
Cons: There's nothing I disliked.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Really homely and friendly. Jan, the brand new bar lady was great, the owners made you feel very at home. We will definitely return.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hospitality shown by the owners Jack and Lauren was amazing. They both were really welcoming and friendly and went the extra mile to make this a great experience for us. Great job guys and good luck with the ourdoor bar and bbq area plans , I am sure once lockdown is lifted, it is going to add great value and an amazing experience for customers who will visit. Once again thanks very much for everything. Adil
Okay 5,0
Pros: The pub and room were clean and comfortable. Food was lovely , the staff were friendly and very helpful
Cons: The whole building cold, mold on the windows, to far out from any town, you needed to take the car every where. The running and organisation of the business needs a bit of sorting. Not much of an atmosphere in the bar. One of reasons we came home a day early. So only stayed 2 nights instead of 3 nights.
