The mattress is too soft. The heater took forever to react to change in setting. The shower requires you to get in it to to turn in on, which means you risk getting scalded. They charged for parking. The refrigerator worked. The TV worked although the guide didn't match reality.

Pros (+) Garrett's Desert Inn is not a hotel in which you spend most of your time lounging in the rooms, contemplating your trip. The rooms are small, with small bathrooms, few windows, and crt TVs. But, the key feature of the Desert Inn is that it's a one-minute walk from the main downtown area of Santa Fe!
