Salzburg hotels near Museum der Moderne Mönchsberg

Pros: Loved the decor of this hotel. The bed was so comfortable and the room layout was perfect. The breakfast they offer was amazing. I recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Pros: We stayed in the Sound of Music Suite and it was magnificent. The room was huge - we had a bathroom, a sitting area, and a bedroom. The bed was very comfortable, the room very neat and clean, the decor great. The breakfast was included in our room price and was excellent. It was one of, if not the best breakfast we had during our entire trip. Great location within walking distance to the Train Station. We will definitely stay there again!

Pros: It was great. Easy to get to and right beside the old part of Salzburg. Perfect location. We traveled with a 10 month old and a 2 year old. The staff was great with the children and met our needs as soon as we asked. They even recommended great places to have dinner.

Hotel has best Italian restaurant in Salzburg, according to locals. Taxi downtown is about €8, bus stops in front of hotel, trip downtown is €1.50.

Pros: I enjoyed the proximity to the local attractions of Salzburg, particularly the Old Town and the Fortress. Although it was around a fifteen minute walk, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and the bus service is frequent and reliable. The staff were very very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

Pros: Nice hotel, friendly staff. I booked my room 7 months before my visit. When I came to the hotel, my booking was not in the system. Disappeared!! Good I brought with me the confirmation from booking.com, so I did´nt stand without a hotel room in a full booked city. The nice woman in the lobby did an excellent job, and found me a room for the first night in a hotel across the street, the second night I stayed in Holiday Inn.. But I wonder, how could this happend?? How to trust Booking.com after this??? Holiday Inn did an excellent job..
