Pros: Lovely room with balcony overlooking the square. Very central to the Old Town. Enjoyed an evening meal in the bar downstairs, although a bit pricey!

Pros: The guest house location is right in the historic sector of Salzburg, making everything easy to access by foot. Even though it is in the main tourist area the room was quiet for sleeping. The room was a good size with a table and chair where I could sit by a window. The manager helped me to organise a taxi to the station on the morning of my departure. I thought it reasonably priced at approximately 7 Euro. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: For international guest this not suitable place because they don't want to speak in English. I have problem for connecting wi-fi when I call them through door bell they reply only i can speak in German language. There is no reception at all. receptionist is always unavailable, there is no phone line you can contact them. I will not suggest this place, although place is clean and not far away from city center.

Pros: Lovely room with balcony overlooking the square. Very central to the Old Town. Enjoyed an evening meal in the bar downstairs, although a bit pricey!
Cons: Could have had a kettle in our room... an Englishman LOVES his cuppa!

I thought it reasonably priced at approximately 7 Euro. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room decor was a bit dated. An extra pillow and also a top sheet rather than just a doona would have been better for sleeping. I didn't mind having a shared bathroom and toilet but it would have been nice to have somewhere to wash my hands after using the toilet rather than having to return to my room to do so.

Cons: It’s all too basic.....everything has been done cheaply and I wondered why I was paying so much because even hostels these days are more welcoming, spacious and upmarket.

Pros: For our family of 4, the room was large and had space to spread out as it could accommodate 6 people. Having breakfast included was nice, as we could just pop downstairs for a few minutes before heading out for the day. Staff was friendly and my girls loved sleeping in the bunk beds. It was nice to have shower, toilet, and sink all separate for getting ready.

Pros: I'm always cautious when booking hostels. The typical situation is a cramped space with little facilities and overpopulation of smelly people. Not this place. It looks more like a student hotel or dorm. We booked a private room for the same price as one would pay for 2 beds in a dorm room. We had our own shower and a separate toilet. Everything was clean. There were a few beds in the room: take your pic. Each bed had their own power outlet. Noice! The wifi wasn't really working in the room, only in the lobby and you need a code. There seemed to be a lot of college students in groups here for some team building thing. The drive into to town is short. There is a free parking at the hostel. They did have breakfast but it seemed disappointing.

Cons: The facility would be great for youth/singles traveling alone as it seems to have education rooms and lots of young people attending the courses from all over. Unfortunately, that also means they like being up late and would often hang out in the common areas (as they should). As such, it may not be the best choice for families with young children. The location is also not really within walking distance of old town. There is an easy bus system in Salzburg, but finding it the first time was a bit of a challenge.

Pros: One of the cheapest places we found. Beds were just fine, nothing special. Rooms were clean enough, great location and staff was super nice.
Cons: Rooms are dated and old; just felt a little beat up. Typical hostel stay. Breakfast was way overpriced-there is some bread, meats and cheeses, and yogurt and fruit. No eggs, pancakes, etc. Just didn't feel worth the money-especially for kids who don't eat any.
