Pros: The hotel lobby bar and restaurants were very nice and luxurious. The room appointments however were only average.

Cons: Location is not that good to walk around. You would always need a taxi. Also, there was no bank office which would make it more convenient for guests. ATM gives only 2000 uah, there is only one machine there. Bar drinks are very expensive higher than what other 5 star hotels charge. Lobby is not good. Small and no working bar services. You must go to second floor for that !

Pros: The hotel was just what I needed - close to public transport, easy to access, a wholesome breakfast each morning, central to being able to get out and about to tour and sightseeing around the city, close to convenience stores and restaurants. The room was clean, modern and functional with staff very helpful who spoke English as a second language very well. I have not hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone who needs a good quality, affordly place to stay.
Cons: The room is small and there is no fridge/kettle/tea/coffee in the room but given it was a place to sleep and shower, it was fine.

Pros: The location, restaurant, staff was helpful, multi language, very clean and even as older hotel, had very good and visually pleasing architecture! I think is perfect for any type of travel! The cost was excellent, the location is perfect!! I really like the hotel!! Equivalent to most European good hotels!!The Internet Wi-Fi works ok!! The staff was amazing helpful to me!! They were exceptional as I needed to change my reservation and stay to attend an emergency with my daughter at home, they truly helped me with all the process and policy!! I will stay again!

Cons: The room was nice, not fancy, but clean and a good size. 4 elevators that are on separate circuits. Each stop on almost every floor on descent. Breakfast was very good. Excellent selections. During peak times, clear tables are difficult to find. Plenty of tables but the staff is very slow to clear empty used tables. If you need help from the front desk, don’t ask one of the ladies for help. All they can say (English of Ukrainian) is “come back tomorrow”. Ask one of the men at the desk for assistance. They are helpful. All the women working at the hotel appear to have an attitude. The men are very helpful. This is a $50-$60 a night hotel. Location is perfect.

Cons: Where to start. The room furniture and decorations was very dated. The bathroom clean and updated. The remainder of the hotel resembled Soviet Union appearance.Just a general appearance most everything does not work, old and outdated. The free breakfast was ok if you are Ukrainian. Westerners would not find it satisfying. It is a Ukrainian kitchen. When it rains the water drips on the outside air conditioning units giving the feeling of sleeping in a Chinese prison camp. The staff was acceptable but seemed to be indifferent. Everything cost extra with no coffee maker in the rooms. If the want that good old day "Soviet" feel. This is a good hotel for you

A great value with great and knowledgeable people that truly want and try to help make your stay amazing!! I find that all is very clean and comfortable!! I find this hotel a wonderful place to stay!!! I will return here whenever I return to Kiev or the area!!!

Cons: Staff is absolutely terrible, and lack the aptitude required to work in the hospitality industry. My reservation was cancelled, they claimed my CC was stolen (even though it's in my name and my passport matches it). After they realized their mistake, the manager hesitantly apologized and told me I can just rebook it in cash for a 10 percent off (which actually isn't a deal at all, considering the price is still higher than online). Worst part of all this?? The lady working in front WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION to this entire interaction between me and the manager, and so she denied me the discount and told me to book at full price (like 1.5 times the online price).

Pros: The hotel has it has a great location, good security, breakfast is good, has cleaned up image by removing strip club.
Cons: Beds are not that good, but no beds are good in Eastern Europe, also all of Ukraine uses central heat so fall in early spring rooms can be cold, but all hotels of be that way. Pool is smaller, but had to myself when I used it.
