Pros: Great hotel in a very good location. It is situated in the European side of Istanbul, so its less crowdy and noisy compared to the old city of Istanbul in the east side. The fitness center is one of the best i have ever been to. It has everything you can imagine. And all is for free (except the massages).

Pros: It's very well-located, if you have to be near Taksim this is the best place. It's close enough to the meydan and to the Metro and buses, but not so close to Istiklal where all of the noise and crowds are. The rooms are nice and comfortable.

Pros: Hotel Sapphire was nicely situated in the sightseeing area of Istanbul. The hotel was lovely, the staff were extremely courteous and helpful, the breakfast buffet was a great start to the day. The tram is very near by, so it's easy to get around the city. The only downside is some of the nightlife spots are best served with a tram ride, and the tram stops running at midnight.

Pros: The room was very clean and the staff of the hotel is perfect. Moroever the location was also good and the price was fare. Despite the fact that the Hotel is located in the centre of Istnabul it was very quite in the room..

Pros: The staff were courteous and extremely helpful. The hotel was in an ideal location for walking or getting the tram to all the tourist sites and had the added bonus of a swimming pool and sauna to use after a day of exciting sightseeing and shopping

Pros: Everyone on the staff was very friendly, accomodating and efficient. They all spoke excellent English and none made us feel uncomfortable about not being able to speak Turkish. The hotel was clean and modern. The location of the hotel to tourist sites couldn't be beat.

Pros: Everything......particularly wonderful staff who went out of their way to help in everything- they stayed up waiting for us when we arrived at 3am, then they went to enormous lengths to get the hire car we wanted and had the car delivered to the hotel. Not only the service but they spoke impeccable English and very courteous in every way.

Pros: This hotel is a very good choice. Tha hotel staff is very helpful and nice, rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very tasty and abundant. The hotel is only five minutes walk from the main attarctions of Istanbul (Topkapi, Aya Sofia, Galata Bridge), so I can recommend to everybody to choose this hotel. You won't be disappointed. And last but not least the hotel has a very good transfer service from/to the airport.

Pros: the staff was really nice, professional and efficient. Although the facilities are a bit rundown, the hotel is clean...towels and sheets smelled good. Harum at the front desk, made sure everything is in order and that we had nothing to complain about. Keep up the good work!

Pros: We were in the hotel about 9:30. We have a 14 months old infant , He was very restless and tired. We were tired too.We asked the reception to give us a room. They told us they are cleaning the room & will give it about 11 & 12 . We went out for breakfast and returned about 11:30. They told us the room is not ready yet. All the time baby was crying and restless. At last they gave the keys about 14:10. We have traveled a lot and have experienced many hotels around the world,but never seen such a unprofessional treatment. The room was very noisy & locked !! Never seen such a thing before. Feeling that I am in a jail room, not a king room . While checking out the receptionist asked me to pay 155 tl extra for my daughter, who is 13. I told him you should tell me while checking in, also she was sleeping on the sofa, without any room service. As a tour guide, Hotel Ramada just has a big building with a poor service, I do not recommend it at all.

Pros: Great hotel for smokers because everyone smokes so much that the wallpaper and air smell like cigarettes! You can smoke cigars on the restaurant patio even though the smoke blows right into the restaurant - a fantastic smell when you're trying to enjoy your meal.

Very clean and very comfortable rooms. My experience with the staff memebers was great: they are kind, friendly and always willing to help.

Pros: The hotel staff were all friendly and polite in particular Irfan as he did go out of his way to help and advise on places to visit in the city. The health and Spa facilities were all clean and in working order, the staff working there are also very friendly and always at hand to help and assist. The hotel is a newly built so the condition of it is excellent and spotless and very close to the Metro station so is ideally located. The bathroom amenities are very good, the hair dryer is powerful and so is the iron.

Pros: This is a new hotel (Aug 2009) but the staff was very helpful and experienced. They had a good knowledge of the area. Very well designed rooms with excellent details. Location was very good and view from upper floor across to Blue Mosque etc was a plus. If this fits into your budget. It is worth it.
