Pros: The service was exceptional and everyone was very keen to go the 'extra mile'. The staff were helpful in assisting us with information on current political situation. The location is great 5 minutes walk to the pier to get the star ferry to Hong Kong island and 5 minutes walk to main shopping area of Nathan road. Plenty of resturants near by and across the road from nearest MTR. Rooms were comfy and kept to a high standard, turn down service nice touch and enjoyed the treats left in room on certain nights of stay.

Pros: Everything was great exact the staff were rude on check in. The facilities were amazing and I did get a late check out to 2pm.
Cons: Staff were rude. They couldn't find my reservation. Waited 45 minutes for them to sort out the problem (their reservation system did not like I booked the hotel 3 hours before I arrived). They could have at least offered a drink or snack or something instead of making me stand around waiting for them to sort out the problem.

Pros: Service throughout was excellent. Special thanks to Younnes of the Concierge desk and the housekeeping crew on my floor ( 48) for great service and attention to detail. Bravo!
Cons: I had two room service meals. Both arrived promptly and were kept hot in the warmer en route. However, the condiments for my fish congee were disappointing. The peanuts, crisps and you tiao were limp and soft and unappetising. Condiments are meant to add a textural crunch to contrast with the smoothness of the congee. Also, it would be nice to have spring onions. Room interiors could do with some pops of colour. Current colour scheme is classic but bland

Pros: This is a solid choice for business or mature tourist travel. I was in town for meetings and a conference. Normally the distance and taxi time to the IFC area would totally justify the cost savings vs staying closer, at the four seasons. Given the protest activity in Hong Kong, getting a taxi or Uber ti get back and forth was a lot more difficult than usual. It’s a walkable distance, at about 1.5 miles, but not in heels. The staff were all very friendly and staying on the club level with access to the lounge is a good choice.

Pros: The beds were very comfortable and yes the breakfast was lovely as was the polite and friendly staff, only one thing I could offer for an improvement would be the provision of a better toaster, it took 4 goes to get a golden colour on the bread, and it was a comment made amongst other guests that were trying to get toast as well.

Pros: Everything! We stayed at the premium harbour view room with patio and private outdoor jacuzzi, from the moment of checking in, the staff have been so attentive. Have a special check in counter up on 41st floor, check in was quick, and they kindly took me to the room and explained how everything works and arranged the water in the Jacuzzi to fill up. With this room type, we got to access the executive club lounge with free snacks from 3pm to 8pm and drinks also. Amazing! Amazing view as well! Have to stay there for the sunset! We had a good time! Same with breakfast, we had it at the 41st floor restaurant with breakfast options which can be freshly cook to order. The jacuzzi is just amazing in the patio outside the room! We had a great night celebrating our special day! Thanks a lot Harbour Grand team!!

Pros: This is definitely a luxury hotel; it looks and feels like one from the amenities in the room to the lobby and the available restaurants in the building. The location was great because of its proximity to the MTR station, which is one of my personal favorite things about Hong Kong so I didn't mind. It's not within real walking distance of tourist attractions or downtown in Causeway Bay or Central, but the MTR and hotel shuttles make it very easy to get there. The breakfast buffet was particularly good and reasonably priced (compared to American hotels). Seems like a nice place to host a business event.

Pros: The hotel was lovely. Really good facilities. It’s got a gym, pool and spa. I had a massage which was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a view of the harbour.
Cons: The location isn’t central but the hotel has a shuttle bus regularly to various stops.
3,4 Mediocre
Pros: The location is great, only 3 minutes from the MTR
Cons: I arrived to the hotel at 16:00 after long flight and they told me that my room is not ready and that I will have to wait until 22:00 for room!
7,5 Good
Pros: Very friendly stuff, everything here you would expect.
Cons: Structure is very old and definitely needs a facelift.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the room was very comfortable
Cons:
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were very comfortable and yes the breakfast was lovely as was the polite and friendly staff, only one thing I could offer for an improvement would be the provision of a better toaster, it took 4 goes to get a golden colour on the bread, and it was a comment made amongst other guests that were trying to get toast as well.
Cons: Only the toaster as I commented above.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Nothing! :) But this hotel is not for you if you prefer somewhere very new and fancy. This hotel has very traditional hotel decorations (albeit very comfortable). But if you are looking for modern, bright and quirky, this is not for you. But if you don’t mind, and just want a comfortable night stay, this is amazing!

Pros: Nice location
Cons: Felt a little dated
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The quality of the breakfast, the staff and the view; we had a great chat with Florian, the Head Chef of the hotel, up in the 188 restaurant of the 41st floor - top bloke!!
Cons: Need a few more seats in the vast entrance lounge!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nearest position for subway
Best thing is represented a place yo change our clothes even we've no rm
Cons:
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Good staff, excellent facilities. The upgrade to a Junior Suite was welcome.
Cons: A little bit out of things, although they is an MTR station 5 minutes walk away. The area around the hotel isn't the smartest, although it seems perfectly safe.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Impressive hotel, in terms of infrastructure. The breakfast place is impressive, as well as the food selection, it’s very fresh. Staff is kind and speak great English as expected.
Cons: My only complain: the room carpet! It need a renovation quickly. It damages all the room look&feel, as well as the overall experience as its showing signs of wearing out and looks just kind of filthy (even though it might be “clean”).
8,8 Excellent
Pros: This is definitely a luxury hotel; it looks and feels like one from the amenities in the room to the lobby and the available restaurants in the building. The location was great because of its proximity to the MTR station, which is one of my personal favorite things about Hong Kong so I didn't mind. It's not within real walking distance of tourist attractions or downtown in Causeway Bay or Central, but the MTR and hotel shuttles make it very easy to get there. The breakfast buffet was particularly good and reasonably priced (compared to American hotels). Seems like a nice place to host a business event.
Cons: We had a great stay, but a lot of it was due to promotions. Our room had free wifi and we had a special rate since I booked far ahead of time. The wifi signal could be stronger, and the TV channels were a bit limited. There was construction next to the hotel, which somewhat took away from the otherwise nice view of the harbor. The view did have a highway between the room and harbor though, so don't go in expecting a harborfront room.
With a stay at Harbour Grand Hong Kong in Hong Kong (North Point), you'll be steps from Victoria Harbour and 12 minutes by foot from Victoria Park. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request).

Pros: I enjoyed the pillow menu and the bathroom as it was very clean and modern-sleek.
Cons: I did not have the best time there as we had 3 guests - paid for our 3rd on the spot and had asked the front desk team to bring extra amenities but failed to do so until I had to call to remind them after 3 hours. Also, our stay was mainly to enjoy the serene pool however, we were not ever notified that we are not able to take any photos in the pool area as there should be signs for it- none of that was mentioned by any sign or the employee. I found it appalling that we were not allowed to use our phones for photos yet there was no consent asked by the guests if their camera surveillance was acceptable in the hotel pool area. I found that quite contradicting.

Cons: There was construction type noise from around 4.00 am in the morning which woke me. It happened on both mornings I was there. It stopped around 6.30am.

Pros: Great value. Loved the location, next to the Peninsula, the ferry and outstanding views of the island!
Cons:
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Right next to the Peninsula for a fraction of the cost, the YMCA is great value in a clean, friendly hotel. It doesn't have frills, but we have always stayed there in Hong Kong and recommend it especially for families.
Cons: Not much. It's large but has the amenities available to a hotel such as concierge (he was terrific) and laundry service.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: First off we booked for 10/21-23 and my email confirmarion and screen shot of booking all confirmed this. When we went to check in , they told us that booking was for 11/4-6. I showed them the confirmation then they told us we needed to take the issue up with kayak. After arguing for 3 hours(i dont give up) they finally gave us the room. The hotel is NOT a 5 star (1star) and the pictures are MISLEADING. Theoughout the stay the staff was awful. The hotel is also filled with mainlanders which makes it extremely noisy and crowded. Avoid avoid avoid. I couldnt take another day so in the end I booked the shangri-la.

Easy access via taxi, with a covered drop off/pick up area (great since it rains so much in Hong Kong)

Cons: Safe in the room didn't work at all, and looked like it had been tampered with
Small lobby with a ton of bags left by other guests, with minimal security and the bags out in the open
Toilet was chipped and cracked
Shower door didn't close fully, and the hot water took forever to come out
Overall, pretty shabby decor and facilities for the price paid. I'd recommend Lanson Place Hotel over the Regal for any business travellers.

The quality of the gym equipment is very good. breakfast is Japanese style, so if that is your taste then you'll love it. Pros: This hotel is very well situated in Wanchai. It is just moments walk from the MTR and easy to get a taxi as well. It is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it clean and relatively comfortable. If nightlife is in your plans, you are at "ground zero" for the club scene in WC. Staff is efficient if not overly warm. I have stayed at this hotel and for me it always depends on the price. If I get the room at a good rate, I will stay, if not there are other hotels in the area that are more competitive.

Pros: Location, location, location! So easy to get around the island from Wan Chai. Close to lots of bars and restaurants, as well as the convention center. It was one of the more affordable options too.
Cons: The staff ended up putting me in a room with two twin beds (when I asked for one queen) AND it was on a smoking floor AND they insisted that they could not move me. Beware -- only about half of the floors in this hotel are non-smoking. Ugh.

Pros: Staff was great, so was the location.
Cons: Barely could make phone calls with my HQ because of the noisy renovations that were going on. Also, internet speed was terribly slow - at besd, I could send a WhatsApp message, but e-mails with larger files could not be sent. Not OK if you pay up to 1.400 HK$ per night for a room.

Cons: When I first stayed here 8 years ago, the hotel was showing signs of wear, now it is firmly planted in the "dated" range. The pubic areas are fine, but the rooms could use a make over. Again, it all depends on the room rate as far as value goes.

Pros: They have a rooftop with a nice view which doesn't cost any extra to visit. The water pressure in the showers is very strong. The pillows are comfortable.
Cons: The rooms are tiny to move around in. Everything cost extra in the room. Even to use the TV cost money. I was afraid to use the outlets since I was afraid to be billed for it later... no free WiFi in the rooms. Overpriced for what I received. First and last time at this hotel. Worth paying a bit more for something which has better features.

Pros: The only good thing about this hotel is the location
Cons: Staff at the hotel are not friendly and not helpful. They couldn’t even order a taxi to go to the airport in the morning. The room is very old and tired and smelt of mould. Beds very hard and not comfortable.
6,3 Good
Pros:
Cons: My booking was supposedly "Low rate - no money back", so I thought I had booked the room at a good deal. The room was also apparently "harbour facing", so I was really looking forward to the legendary new year fireworks. But alas, towards the check-in date the website started to offer lower rates at 61% discount. At check-in, we were given a room on level 15 - it overlooks some dirty buildings and rooftops, and we could barely see the harbour. For the price I paid, I expected more.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff in the ground floor, the house keeper and restaurant staff were friendly. The location was in a nice quiet corner of the city but was just around the corner from public transportation and it is closed to many restaurants.
Cons: The front desk people were disorganized, I had to asked them to activate my key twice, once for the elevator and once for the room. I stood at the desk for awhile before they even took noticed as they were busy doing their own thing. It was not a very friendly feeling.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The top patio was very nice.
Cons: There was some confusion about wifi access and also we thought we had booked online for a breakfast inclusive room only to discover on arrival that it was not included. This perhaps was a mistake from the booking agency but it was annoying.

Pros: Location
Cons: Room was a bit shabby @ close to 10myears old it could stand a renovation

Pros: Had a place to sleep on business trip. Good view and location.
Cons: They hadn't done a good job cleaning under desks -- found dust balls and an empty box of Jonny Walker.

Pros: Location, Good Service, Good value
Cons: Internet speed was a bit slow
7,5 Good
Pros: Location, cleanliness. Decent Room size
Cons: One extremely unhelpful staff member at the front desk. The chain on my door was broken and I was stuck inside my room, unable to fully open the door. I called housekeeping and they promptly sent someone to replace the chain. Early Next morning, I noticed I’d cut my finger on the broken chain earlier. Went down to lobby in my pj’s to ask (in English) for a band aid. Helpful assistant asked her supervisor lady in Cantonese (I’m a non Chinese who speaks Cantonese), who told her to tell me to go buy it at 7/11. “So I have to go back up, get dressed, get my wallet, look for a shop this early?” “Yes,” the assistant replied apologetically. On my way to the shop, I passed the concierge who gave a smile. I asked him for a band aid, he said sure and promptly got a few for me from a nearby drawer.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Room WiFi kept cutting out. I missed messages. No socket except one near the floor, to charge my phone. Light bulb crackling over beverages area. USB charging device crackling so I didn’t dare charge my devices on it. Bath tub plug went in but did not come back out. No soap. Not even hand soap.

Pros: First time stay in this hotel, the room they gave us is on a lower level, which is so dark( not enough lighting), and kind of dirty with odd smell! We request for a room change, they did it right the way!! Very impressed customer service!!!
Cons: Kind of old, needs some renovations to bring it up to standard! It's kind of noise at night, you can hear people walking outside your room.

Cons: For the money that you pay this hotel dos not reach 2 stars
5,0 Okay
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Elevators were slow. Room was horribly designed. Furnishing were 40 years out of style. Breakfast was so so but cost $20US and not included with room. Staff wasn't friendly at all and lacked English skills for western travelers.
