The car was clearly a former Uber with the permit and "this ride might be recorded" stickers. Something oily was sprayed on the inside of the windshield making it very hard to see and when I tried to clean it it got streaky and worse- I used Windex and then a kitchen cleaner and it was still difficult to see through the streaks to the point where it was unsafe. The car also had paint pen writing on the rear drivers side window which I had to scrape off. The interior smelled like someone tried really hard to cover up stale smoke.Reviewed Oct 11 2024

Their team were understaffed, under supplied and crabby at pickup. There was a noticeable deficit of “normal” cars, and they were often trying to convince people who had booked economy to take a mini van. On return I needed to adjust by 30 minutes to accommodate flex in a travel schedule, and their phone staff were dismissive and rude. They charged me a silly fee, despite the fact that when I arrived, the location was CLOSED, so it wouldn’t have mattered anyway. I will NOT be using Hertz again.Reviewed Sept 13 2024

I rented the car in March. When i got to the pick up spot - in July - there was no one there at the office. Literally, no employees showed up. When i called Hertz, they said "find another reservation." Zero respect for customers. None whatsoever. Unbelievable. Never again.Reviewed Aug 17 2024

Unfortunately, there was no car available at the pick up station. The staff was not helpful and the hotline was overloaded. After 1 hour we were able to pick up our car. Dropping of the car was easy at the airport.Reviewed Aug 10 2024

Your staff was awesome. The phone service to reach the desk/store is horrendous - the automated line just dumped me into a generic “sorry no one’s available” message after trying to call repeatedly for an hour…an automated queue call back would be way beneficial for your team.Reviewed Jul 12 2024

Prepaid, booked in advance, showed up and there were no cars for anyone in the entire SeaTac area. I understand this is standard industry practice but it almost forced me to cancel my plans to attend the wedding for which I flew in. Had to book on a carsharing app instead.
