Delayed flight meant they gave our car awayPros:NothingCons:Our flight arrived later than scheduled. When we arrived to pick up our car (at the AIRPORT location), we were told our car was no longer available, and that they had no other cars available (all while standing next to a 6 foot tall sign declaring "Cars Available"). We were told this was because they only hold reservations for 1 hour; we were 1 hour and 15 minutes late... When I explained we were late because our flight was delayed, we were told that we should have called to let them know this. The couple behind us also didn't get their car, and at this point the E-Z employee proceeded to take down the "Cars Available" sign while we were getting a car from the company at the next counter. If you want to gamble rent from this company, make sure you have a way to either call from the tarmac or air if your flight takes longer than scheduled or can remember to call as soon as you land, while at the same time getting your luggage, finding the shuttle, getting to the rental counter, and in my case, fighting off the case of motion sickness you acquired on your very bumpy flight. We will just be skipping them entirely in the future and renting from companies that understand that sometimes flights aren't right on time - I mean a 1 hour window. Come on.Reviewed Aug 19 2017

Pros:The car was perfect for our trip.Cons:When checking out the gal at the counter was extremely unhelpful and seemed irritated. When asking questions, her responses were brash and rude. Her directions were short and uninsightful. When picking up the car the lady downstairs wasn't helpful either. After handing over the keys she pointed me in the direction of the car but didn't usher me at all or have someone help me. She then told me, "Go walk around the car and tell me if there are any dents." That made me nervous. When I pulled up to drop it off no one was there to help me so I just sat and waited until I just parked it. Overall, I was not impressed.Reviewed Aug 20 2018

Our worst experience with a rental car companyCons:The first problem was there was no staff at the inside counter. There was a sign telling customers to go outside to the kiosk (in freezing weather). At the kiosk, customers had to wait outside. There were 4 customers waiting in line while there were 3 employees inside the kiosk with only 1 helping customers. When we finally were waited on, we were told there was a limit of 150 miles, which was not a problem for us, but was contrary to the unlimited mileage stated in our email. We then were told that we could not rent without proof of insurance. Our proof of insurance was in our car, not with us. It was nearly midnight and we had no way of getting proof of insurance, so they would not rent to us. Nothing in our confirmation email said anything about needing proof of insurance to rent.Reviewed Dec 13 2016

Swindlers-Bait and switchCons:Confirmed reservation at one price. When showed up at midnight as scheduled, no one at booth. When finally showed, said had no cars left. Noted 8 keys on wall and cars in EZ parking lot. Went back and asked about this. Said these cars would be $50 a day more ((around $78?!). The lady behind me in line went for it. Went to Doller, who immediate took car of me. The Doller lady agreed with me when I said I didn’t believe the EZ lady. What is the point of a confirmed reservation if it’s meaningless?! And I was really vulnerable to this type of scam as few car rentals were open still after midnight. Will never rent from EZ again.Reviewed Apr 29 2018

Pros:Check in and check out was smooth, car was clean and well maintainedCons:Total price indicated online did not reflect final cost of the rental, lots of hidden fees that were never expressly stated or addressed. UnhappyCons:Their customer service was aweful. The car did not have a full tank of gas, had chocolate or something spilled on the back seat and what felt like soda which had exploded on the steering wheel. There was also garbage in the back seat. We did not notice the garbage and stuff in the back seat until we made it to our destination. We did clean the interior of the car and filled the gas tank prior to returning the vehicle.Reviewed Nov 27 2018

Pros:The van was very niceCons:They don't appear to have enough employees for the volume of business they have. The line to pick up the car was long and the process time consuming. Pros:Customer service very friendly wen beginning process. Manager David very helpful at the end of the process.Cons:The rental process was not well explained nor was the refusal of additional insurance. One box has you refuse them insurance, then the agent asked me to initial the boxes underneath my refusal. One of those boxes had me the ACCEPT the additional insurance. When I was closing my account at the airport, instead of being helpful, the front desk agents were very rude. The woman in the basement station (Mavis?) was very helpful.Reviewed Oct 10 2016

Pros:The car was clean.Cons:We arrived 1.5 hrs early so we tried to pick the car up early. They indicated they did not have our car until our pickup time (which I doubt they turn around cars that fast between rentals) and said we could either wait until our time or get the next model up, for almost twice my reservation cost...Reviewed Mar 25 2019
