10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Limited choice on the dinner menu
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff went to great lengths to make our stay special. Parking garage, as the new (August ‘19) parking meters in the street do not accept foreign bank cards.
Cons: We chose the hotel for its restaurant, only to find out that it had minimal service during our stay. Fortunately, there is an excellent restaurant at 50 meters (Odette en Ville), reservation recommended.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location, staff were friendly, coffe machine at room is amaizing, gym was quite good for this price.
Cons: Only concern, i didnt add breakfast as i thought 30 EUR is too much specilay during weekend as i can have nice breakfast outisde hotel for same or less.
6,7 Good
Pros: Great location. Staff is friendly.
Cons: I just spent one night in this hotel and I was on my own. I have been leaving in Brussels for over 20 years and I've passed by this hotel hundreds times but never stayed there so this time I decided to book a night at Le Chatelain. I know it's a 5 stars hotel so I was expecting a 5 stars room. It was a tiny one (which wouldn't have bothered me eventually) located on the 3rd floor and the view from the window was awful a depressing (a dirty grey wall at short distance). See picture attached. I cannot stand air conditioning so I switched it off but a kind of fan noise was still there...and it stayed with me all night, I could hardly sleep a couple of hours. No way to turn it off! I guess it was the bathroom ventilation. The bathroom was also tiny and the pullout shower head located in the bathtub didn't stay properly in place-straight-so I had to hold it in my hands while showering to avoid water going all over the bathroom. I had one nail broken and was looking for a nail file but there wasn't any. No body lotion either! The bathroom bin didn't open with the pedal so I had to open it manually. I always appreciate a chamomile tea or tisane before sleeping but the coffee station only contained 2 teabags, no caffeine-free infusion at all. In a 5 stars hotel you should not experience all this so I was extremely disappointed and won't return to Le Chatelain.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Confort
Cons: Small breakfast room
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I really want to thank MR. Mark for great welcoming and dedicated time and effort to help us for all our request.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: You don't even get the second foot in the door before you're greeted by friendly and welcoming staff waiting to attend to your every need. The breakfast (if you choose to have it included) is a fresh, healthy and great quality variety also with impeccable service and choices. The rooms are adequately sized and the beds and pillows are quite plush. There are slippers and robes for your added comfort and the tea selection in the room is great. The bathrooms are fully equipped and have a very modern and Chiq decor. Room service was a bit costly (as it is with most hotels) but this was because while the quality of the food was great and fresh, I really didn't enjoy the flavor. It is conveniently located between the trams and close to the Brussels midi station. Also, on Rue Louise there are all the major high end brands for clothing, jewelry, shoes and perfume, there are chocolatiers and other typically European magazines. Once you head out the revolving doors of Rue du Châtelain, and turn right, you will see that there are many cafés, bars, bistros, and magazines (shops) along the way. The cuisine is mainly, Italian, French and English, and there are Asian restaurants and a conveniently located liquor store to get your Belgian beer. There's also a food store further down. In the opposite direction, about a 30 min stroll away, there is the European Parliament, and the Grande Place that hosts many of the museums, a must see is the Music Museum, and a must have is the Belgian chips/fries and waffles. Hopefully this helps!
Cons: The dinner I ordered in room service was not a good taste for me.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Was in business area but caught the tram to the Brussels highlights.Very helpful desk staff and concierge!
Cons: Rain!

Admire stunning views across the city from the tallest building in town 27 stories rising up 94 meters in the sky. A superb combination of city views and excellent accessibility.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: From the price i was expecting a mediocre business hotel but, The Hotel was anything but! The staff were friednly, attentive but professional at all times and the room was divine, I have paid much more for much less in other European cities. A real gem, would stay again.
Cons: Just wish i had brought my swimsuit to appreciate the spa facilities.
9,6 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: excellent customer services , very kind and caring staff, accommodating most of our requests , good size, airy. and light, the central control of lighting and heating was very easy to use and not that noisy
Cons: Our bathroom seals was degraded and water was kept running on the floor. The wiring set up in fridge cabinet was poorly thought of in a way that extension wire was hanging at the side of the fridge and when coffee maker was plugged in the door of the cabinet was remain ajar.
9,6 Excellent

Cons: Beautiful room. Complimentary drinks
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Room, cleanness, location, restaurant

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great bed. Nice view (12th floor). Staff. Clean facilities.
Cons: Signs outside the main entrance prohibit smoking in 10 meters distance. The ban is not enforced so guests oftentimes have to walk through a screen of smoke (which is discusting).
8,3 Excellent
Cons: It too far from the center
6,5 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the temperature in the room is easily regulated, the room is well sound-proofed, so it is quiet at night. We had a corner room and the view is really nice. The light controls and the curtain controls are automated and can be manipulated with a push of a button. The location is great for shopping, walking to local attractions, and as a starting point to almost anywhere. I might or might not stay again - the negatives are not terrible, in the grand scheme of things.
Cons: The shower enclosure is not well designed and the water constantly goes over the lip of a very shallow shower pan - even if you try to stand up against the wall, only shower with the handheld shower, etc. So we couldn't enjoy the rainfall shower head which was huge and lovely because then you essentially have a lake in your bathroom. For the most part we had a soggy towel on the floor near the shower at all hours. Also the toilet is separated from the rest of the room with just glass so privacy or soundproofing there does not exist, and given that it is a European -sized room, if one of you is up to use the bathroom at night, it is impossible for the other to stay asleep as it is an echo chamber. The breakfast is severely overpriced for the options available and/or service provided - at least one of them needs to improve. Even though we travel a lot, still for a tourist from the US it is quite surprising - for 28 Euro per person I would want something more lavish in terms of food variety or much better service - waiters pouring your coffee or tea instead of you wresting with the automatic machines - something.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable; awesome cheerful staff!
Cons: Although it’s great location in city center i unfortunately didn’t feel much safe after the sunset there, but it has nothing to do with hotel, it’s just the city itself.

6,3 Good
Pros: Location, property, breakfast
Cons: Wake up at 6:40 because of works outside.
4,0 Okay
Pros: We liked the location being close to tourist attractions. We also enjoyed very much the rooftop breakfast. Room was small but it was fine.
Cons: Our room was uncomfortably hot. It was mid-April. Front desk staff explained their air conditioning system had not been in summer setting yet. Hot air was blowing in the vent. When we opened the windows, it was so noisy with drunk people going home.

7,5 Good
Pros: Large quiet room.
Cons: Ongoing works and noise.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Location is good, close to good shopping. City Center is walkable but it's a bit of a hike. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. I didn't take advantage of breakfast but at 13 euros it looked like a very good value.
Cons: Despite paying for a room for 3, they provided no sheets for the pull out bed. Similarly, not enough towels and certainly not enough coffee in the morning! Room was too warm despite adjusting the A/C to the maximum setting. Strange sulfur smell coming from the bathroom.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms and friendly staff
Cons: Two elevators are not enough for the hotel it was always busy.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious. Wifi worked well.
Cons: The arrangement of having the shower in the bathtub is a bit cumbersome
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It is conveniently located and has a lovely bar and very good food.
Cons: Cannot think of anything.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was by far the best breakfast I've had at any hotel. Lots of healthy options as well as a full cooked breakfast, cereals, continental, cured meats, breads and juices\smoothies. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond for us. It was my partners brithday and not only did they give us a complimentary room upgrade and bar vouchers they also gave him a birthday card.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Good location, Friendly reception and reasonable room rate.
Cons: Certain part of hotel buidling are under renovation and covered by construction film etc.

Pros: It’s totally clean by my wife’s comment also. Bus tub separated from shower is very good especially for Japanese my family. The location is safe and easy to get the taxi. Breakfast is very delicious. There is row chocolate. That has good sense as Belgian choice.
Cons: Toilet nearby lobby, ramp doesn’t work.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly; spacious room, good working space; comfortable beds; good insonorization.
Cons: cleanliness not spotless; reception often congested.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room very big
Cons: Construction on going and old Curtains
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location Service Room ambience
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast. Two coffee machines and a good selection of food. Friendly helpful staff. Our room was massive with a separate toilet and separate bathroom. Its only a very short cab ride to the train station from the hotel.
Cons: Nothing: very good even though renovations were being carried out Good friendly helpful service. They let us store our suitcases whilst we did a two day trip to Brugge. This was great as we didn't then have to lug suitcases on the train, just travel bags.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. Will be back and recommend to friends. Excellent
Cons: Did not have breakfast as it was quite expensive
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Design and layout of the room was impressive. Good service staff and very approachable. I was surprised when they gave free coffee capsules for the Krups expresso machine. Pleasant stay and strongly recommended!
Cons: Nothing to complain about. If any, it would be nit picking.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are quiet and beds and linen are comfortable. Bathrooms are good, modern and well equipped.
Cons: They wouldn't give me receipt / invoice as I booked through booking.com, which was a problem fro my work expenses. The breakfast I have had here before is okay, but really expensive. The area is joined onto the Gare du Midi, which is the Eurostar station so very handy for that, but the area is poor, and as a single woman I wouldn't feel safe walking around.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We came in from Amsterdam where there was no A/C during a heat wave. We took the Thalys speed train to Brussells and the Pullman is attached to the train station which was awesome. It has A/C and the room is modern and clean, the bathroom is modern and the size was enough for us. And there's a full service Haagen-Daz right to it. The hotel restaurant is also very classy. The bartenders were wonderful. The drinks, coffee, food were all good.
Cons: I can't really think of anything I disliked. The elevators were a bit cramp but, not a big deal.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Right next to Brussels-Midi/Zuid. Easy to catch an international train! Very clean and comfortable. Facilities are very new.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: The parking garage was expensive.
7,9 Good
Pros: The room was quiet and safe. it allowed me to have a desired rest at my satisfaction.
Cons: - I asked the house keeping to bring me the slippers, they didn't till the morning. - The moquette was not clean, I had a broken glass in my foot, though I took it out but it was really hurting. then I told them, they brought the slippers but it was late! - they took 400EUR from my credit card and the payment was 322EUR, and i have not yet seen the balance back to my account.
7,9 Good
Pros: Bed was confy and room was quite
Cons: The bathroom was not really clean especialy the toilet had some pee on it and also the shower class was not really clean i think the cleaner should clean the bathroom properly not in the rush and also there was a pair of sandals out side the hall before our room which was there from day one until we left i wonder why
7,1 Good
Pros: Didn't eat in hotel. Staff very helpful. Neighborhood not great.
Cons: Staff

5,0 Okay
Pros: Regardless of the legnth of your stay and number of folks in your group you are entitled to ONE and only ONE complimtary bottle of water Period. No exceptions.
5,7 Okay
Pros: Location of your hotel is always key when traveling. this had an excellent location near the Grand Place and a short walk to the tour office which was the meeting point for all our tours.
Cons: The rooms were not really cleaned properly. Trash was taken out but quite a number of trash was left strewn on the floor in both the room and bathroom. Large trash items like empty water bottles were left behind as well as kleenex. This happened twice. Also toiletries were not replenished properly. Bad cleaning service for sure. Toilet was separate from the bathroom which is odd so there was no water within reach. Wifi was not working in the room until I checked if it was included in the package and they fixed it but not after several attempts. The food in the restaurants downstairs were also too expensive. Not really commensurate with the prices outside where there were many restaurants.
8,3 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, very clean. Location is perfect across the street from Central Station.
Cons: Loud music in the street on Sat night that we could hear since the room was facing Central Station where people were playing music... my son could not sleep easily that night. The hotel can not do anything about it.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: The Brussels summer festival was on the evening we stayed and that was quite noisy.., but it did end at a respectable hour so it was not too bad
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Central location, huge lobby, nice quiet rooms, good shower, comfortable beds, clean, good Wifi, good TV channels selections
Cons: We checked-in around 3 PM which is the typical check-in time and there was only one staff member at the reception to handle all guests which I have found to be weird. Also, the hotel is on a 'hill' which makes walking back to it after a long day a bit tricky. Only one complimentary water bottle.

Pros: We are a family of 5 (children 8, 6 and 9 months). Beautiful kept hotel with a very nice garden around it. the kids loved their breakfast. minutes drive to BRU airport. The hotel agreed that we will be all in one room - which was nice of them but a mistake on our behalf.
Cons: Parking costs 20 Euro per day! but there was no problem parking on the street for free.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly wait staff.
Cons: The quality of food.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing :) Would def stay here again whenever flying through Brussels.

Pros: The staff were friendly & eager to provide advice regarding places to visit, things to do, etc. Room was very nice & very clean. Breakfast was wonderful & had something for everyone...a lot of variety. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Loved that it's close to airport, but it was a little difficult to get to even using gps.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel ; the family room was large and luxurious. Great buffet in the morning. Exceptional location close to the airport.
Cons: A little cold in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very convenient to my work and the hotel was very clean. Also, the staff was friendly and very professional.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed 5 nights with my wife and two kids aged 6 and 9. The staffs are very polite and always ready to help. The rooms are very tidy and the whole building is easy to navigate. The breakfast is excellent. Lots of varieties to chose from and the meal is delicious. Dinner is amazing throughout our stay. The cost if very reasonable and does not worth eating outside of the hotel for what you get. The restaurant staffs are very friendly, supportive and caters for all needs and ensure a relaxed atmosphere is maintained. Thanks to the two chefs...though we did not get to meet them, but the meals speaks of their professionalism.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and staff. Easy travel from airport.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the room was great. Lots of space and the bathroom was awesome.
Cons: Both times I ordered room service the staff forgot my drink. I had to wait for my wine and morning coffee. Plus when the staff dropped off my breakfast he didn't bother to take the dirty plates from the night before. He just pushed them aside
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was close to airport with free shuttle that mat us at the airport and brought us there - just what we need. The restaurant at property is expensive , but in 15 minutes walking you can find many restaurants.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location can't be beat. Restaurant was closed when we tried to use it due to a flight cancellation, we were turned away by the restaurant staff. Told they couldn't accommodate us, but the lounge could. Was frustrating as we were travelling with our son and didn't feel a lounge atmosphere would be appropriate. In morning, staff was already cleaning up buffet a good 45 minutes prior to end of service. I think the hotel itself is good, however the restaurant staff need some training in hospitality.

6,3 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Close to city centre
Cons: Room dirty. Stained sofa. And broken light socket
5,8 Okay
Cons: Terrible walk in experience. The lobby feels like a sports centre reception. Feels very budget and certainly not what you’d expect for £150 a night. Soulless.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean hotel and close to main attractions.
Cons: Hotel is bit far from the centre, and it can be challenging if you decide to walk. Requested for a good view room however they gave a room with out any view, basically construction view.
7,9 Good
Pros: Close too shopping. Our room was quiet
Cons: Unnatural materials in duvet & pillows. Would have preferred separate sheet & feather pillows. Only 1 cup in our room & no water or spoons on first night. Not clear online, which Novotel i was booking. We thought we had booked hotel close to Centraal. Breakfast area & offering, although varied did not look good, very messy and disorganised. Staff did not look happy. 9:30am is too early to close for tourists.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Not too long a walk to the Central station and even closer to the Grand Place. There is a shopping area that is with all the large stores very close by. We found the room quiet and the young man at the front desk especially helpful.
Cons: Like so many European hotels in winter, the room can be a bit warm. But you do have the ability to turn off the heating and open a window to cool things off.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Big clean room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a room on the seventh floor and it had a terrific view overlooking the city, we even had a clear view of the Atomium. Our room was two levels with a sitting area and half bath in the entry area then went up a spiral staircase to a very spacious bedroom with another couch/seating area, two seat desk, and very comfortable queen size bed. The bathroom upstairs was spacious and nice shower with very good water pressure, there was also a separate toilet space.
Cons: There was not ONE thing wrong with this hotel at all. I highly recommend it if your travels bring you to Brussels.
4,2 Okay
Cons: Doing a huge construction just in front of hotel
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Very centrally located and close to Grand Place.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was AMAZING. the rooms were excellent, clean and the space are good.
Cons: Nothing :)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was not organized well on September 6 -noisy, nervous and busy responsible person - he took plates in the middle by his hand (somebody said that it was not clean) and return it to shelf; missing croissant, bread, plates, salmon, sitting place, dirty place for orange juice preparation. It was not pleasant and quite breakfast time in this day, unfortunately.
Cons: The hotel with fantastic location, very nice reception staff; big, soundproof and clean room.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Sleep Well Youth Hostel in Brussels (Lower Town), you'll be steps from Place Charles Rogier and Rue Neuve. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff members are very professional and always kind. It is a pleasure to arrive in that hostel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I have never slept so well in a hostel before - the bunk beds don't move and the mattress is so comfy. The room and the whole building is immaculate. The breakfast was a nice touch and free biscuits on reception made me smile. The location was decent - walkable from the main square, mannequin pis, central station (use google maps - I got lost as the layout of the city is quite confusing).
Cons: You can't be in your room between 11:00am to 15:00pm as it's cleaning time, they even kick you and lock you out of your room so your room card can't be used. After breakfast finished at 10am one day, I stayed in my room till 12:30pm which a cleaner then appeared - she saw me and literally told me to get out of the room! I don't see the point of the room being locked for 4 HOURS for cleaning - only 1 bed had to be done and the floor/showers were not even dirty. This is a hostel were people are travelling and you are supposed to sleep/relax, etc - not feel on edge of having to be out by 11am. Hey ho.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was fully remodeled
Cons: No
9,6 Excellent
Cons: It's good that they offer breakfast but they can improve it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Soft matresses, vending machine, openair smoking area, a lot of places to sit, lifts, breakfast was good, hot water, smiled and helpful staff, near to city center, subway, train station and macdonals, beds and bathroom were clean.
Cons: Little lockers, short height of bunks, no soap, shampoo in room and towel was chargeable.
6,7 Good
Pros: Open space entrance hall. Ping pong table and free computers. Friendly staff.
Cons: 5th floor misalignmet and poor breakfast. No yoghurt, dark toasted bread, ham not thin and very soft espresso coffee. Room TV with reduced number of available channels.

Pros: Super clean and great location
Cons: Everything was great
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The place itself was very comfortable, very close to the main places and had easy access to train station/bus stops.
Cons: The environment wasn't very good for solo travelers and the bar seemed more like a reception than a place to hang.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was large and the facilities were all very clean. The staff were super friendly and the location was very central and close to the train station. Would definitely stay again.
10,0 Excellent
