Pros: The location was great! We were in walking distance to all of the major must see attractions and incredible shopping. We were fortunate to have a room with a fresco on the ceiling which was amazing. Although we were on the first floor, we heard very little noise from the street. The staff was great and very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Pros: Just amazing location, bang smack in the middle of Florence, just minutes walk from literally everything. We had a comfortable stay. The staff were super friendly, especially Maria on reception. The rooms are equipped with everything you need. Spacious for a city hotel and the hotel itself is very small with no amenities but for comfort and style and location, it was great. We did not eat in the hotel but restaurant is small and you will need to book. There is parking with a private garage at £30 per day and that includes the ZTL charge.

Pros: We stayed in three hotels during our trip to Italy, and this was our favorite. Very centrally located, a short walk to all the museums, etc. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and sincerely friendly. The room was gorgeous, the breakfast the best we've experienced in a long time. We'd definitely stay here again if we returned to Florence.

Cons: The cost of the food was high. 50 euro for a couple to eat breakfast was not an appealing option for us. Instead we opted to eat at one of the local establishments for less than 16 euro that included 2 breakfast sandwiches (large - we could have actually split one), a cappuccino and a bottle of water. Would recommend sampling

We hadn’t slept on our first night at the other hotel due to bad beds and noise and this hotel was such a blessing. The staff were amazing and put us in a very quiet room at the back of the hotel. The bed and pillows were amazing.. the style of the hotel was modern and funky. Breakfast was a good selection of pastries and continental. Would recommend this hotel to all.

Pros: Outstanding helpful reception staff and Breakfast is a must every morning to start the day, the guy serving coffee every morning was delightful. This is a fabulous funky friendly hotel with fabulous lounge area, great location walking distance to everything. Bus stop right outside to train station. We spent three days but should have had two more and used Florence as base. This boutique hotel completed a wonderful visit to Florence.

Pros: The hotel is very nice, clean and I really like design. Room was good size with window facing backwards that let me slip with fresh air without any issues. Bed is comfortable, breakfast is very substantial with good choice. I also like location near station as you do not need taxi in that case. You put luggage to the hotel and walk and enjoy beautiful Firenze!! I will definitely recommend this hotel as well as brother Joy hotel behind the corner. I also lost my card which I used for booking and have to pay one more time but reception was very nice, they helped me and I received first payment back very shortly. Thank you!!

Pros: We visited Florence for 3 nights and as we needed to catch our train early in the morning we decided to book C Hotels club. Pros: Staying at Casa Howard was one of the most pleasant experiences and a highlight of our trip thus far. The room we stayed in, the game room, also known as the terrace room was as charming as could be! The terrace is so peaceful and quiet and is such an added bonus! The location is great, too. Not too far from the train station, yet close to shops and restaurants. The staff at Casa Howard was so welcoming and very accommodating as well. We loved our stay in Florence and Casa Howard and would recommend it to anyone. I will definitely stay here the next time I travel to Florence.

We walked downtown to the city which is 2km to the Porta Romana. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Breakfast and dinner in the gallery offer a nice view to the (northern part) of Firence. We really recommend reading the description on the website if you travel by car. Don't take the GPS recommendation, take the route via Porta Romana. The narrow paths are pittoresque for your camera, but may scratch your car.

The service was very classy, polite, attentive and friendly the staff made me and my two daughters feel very special. The waiter brought my daughter a shawl when he saw that she was cold and offered us one as well. Our room had a window with a view for people watching, the maid kept our room very clean, every evening when we arrived back from a long day our beds would be turned down waiting for us. The location of the hotel was perfect every thing in walking distance. Doormen and bell hops very friendly and courtesy. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly and welcoming and accommodate us with a bigger room when we revealed to him that our room was too small for 3 girls. We were hoping to see him again next day to thank him but we never saw him again. The breakfast is wonderful and delicious! Lots of food even at 945! i love the historical story of the hotel and old pictures of the hotel in the past. The antique furniture, history, and decor can only be appreciated by historical buffs. A historical beauty!

Cons: Some of the front desk staff were snooty and not very welcoming. The first gentleman we met was friendly we saw him only once out of the six days we were there. When I did ask questions front desk staff very short and make you feel like you are troubling them. The first room #145 was way to small for a mom and two teenage girls. I had adapters for my phone and the only one it would fit in was the bathroom. The Internet is very weak (which I knew coming in seems to be # 1 complaint). When you first walk thru revolving doors there is a woman sitting at a table not sure if she is with hotel however she is not very welcoming she is first person you see and she does not smile or say hello she does not make eye contact she is setting the tone and it is not good, smile say Bon Journo!

Cons: Our room was very nice but the location of the room was right outside the train station and busy street so you could hear people and hear horns from cars/buses...a little bit noisy at times.

Cons: Very cold on the room, the temperature outside it was 7 degrees. Nothing worked inside the room to improve the temperature. I called at the reception in the evening and we were told that the air conditioners do not work, with this answer I understood that they are not turned on so that no energy is consumed, however we are talking about a 4 star hotel.

Cons: the water pressure in the shower in our room was weak to the extent we couldn't take a descent shower. When discussing with the hotel they first tried to convince us that this is the case in all rooms, we knew it wasn't true b/c our friends stayed in a different room and had a normal shower. then they agreed to move us to a different room.

Pros: We had a spacious apartment with a huge bathroom and bedroom with two queen beds. The sitting room was small and the kitchen was just a microwave in the closet. The refrigerator was a mini-bar in the bedroom. The breakfasts include sweet and savory and also hot scrambled eggs and bacon. There are nice lounge areas on the ground floor and a bar that serves coffee and cocktails. The staff was A+ and completely helpful. They suggested cocktails at the rooftop bar down the street with a nice view of the city rooftops. When my traveling partner found he’d left items in the safe he called to see if they could hold on to them for two weeks until we were back in Florence. We picked up the items as planned.

Cons: To be honest, we were really pleased with the place considering price, location, and friendliness of staff. The one thing I would say is that the bed - while not uncomfortable and completely adequate - was not an incredibly comfortable bed. But it worked - we slept great.

Pros: A surprisingly well kept and run small traditional Florentine hotel. Location is great, surrounded by tons of restaurants and bars and in a walking distance to everything. I stayed there only two nights, so didn't want to leave. Bed and pillows and everything was super comfortable and clean. Overall exceeded my low expectations, for 70 euros a day it's a HIT, also including very nice breakfast. Didn't rate it exceptional as there were some hot water issues which seemed to have been at least partially fixed after I complained... I would go back and stay there again, and I almost never say that. (they also have a small pool and jacuzzi for the summer)....

Pros: Excellent bed and the general room size was good. Storage for clothes was very good and air conditioning was excellent actually did the work it’s supposed to do. That there was no lifts, we were on the 3rd floor and it was great excercise to get up and down 3-4 times a day. The hotel is in a fairly quiet location, but turn left and within 2 minutes you are within the area of bars and restaurants and within 5 minutes you are at the Duomo, can’t fault the location. Food and drinks are reasonably priced as opposed to other parts of Italy.

This hotel is truly a trip back in time with its elegance yet modern amenities. Location is great, right near many shops and restaurants. I felt safe coming home alone after a late dinner. Ensure that you book the room for your needs, and there are different rooms with/without pool access for more budget flexibility. I loved that I had a view of the pedestrian friendly narrow street.

Pros: A surprisingly well kept and run small traditional Florentine hotel. Location is great, surrounded by tons of restaurants and bars and in a walking distance to everything. I stayed there only two nights, so didn't want to leave. Bed and pillows and everything was super comfortable and clean. Overall exceeded my low expectations, for 70 euros a day it's a HIT, also including very nice breakfast. Didn't rate it exceptional as there were some hot water issues which seemed to have been at least partially fixed after I complained... I would go back and stay there again, and I almost never say that. (they also have a small pool and jacuzzi for the summer)....
Cons: Too much precedence is given to the people calling the reception. They should be put on-hold until you are finished with the live customer waiting for the receptionist to finish the conversation on the phone.

Cons: They cleaned my room everyday - which I really liked! But they always changed all the towels and even threw away the soap (of course only soap from the hotel!). I think that was not necessary. Maybe you can think about a system where guests can show you which towels they want you to change. That would safe so much water and is better for the environment!
