Pros: Small but great room, finally a hotel with wooden floors, highly appreciated. Beds top class, room was quite (ie well isolated), nice view on a small church. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom huge, beautiful with great shower. Nice towels, just all the details right. On top of that perfect location.

Pros: Spotlessly clean room, free mini bar, big TV. Comfy bed with two memory foam pillows. Provides coffee station with coffee and biscuits and other amenities you might forget, shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, earplugs, cotton buds etc. All restocked every day which is amazing. In the centre of Florence not too far away from everything. Also viewing platform where you can see big cathedral and a spa (which we didn't go to). Lovely staff. Would definitely stay again.

Very centrally located, a short walk to all the museums, etc. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and sincerely friendly. The room was gorgeous, the breakfast the best we've experienced in a long time. We'd definitely stay here again if we returned to Florence.

Pros: Everything was perfect , I like the stay with very good service from all the staff from the front desk till the cleaning of room and the delicious breakfast and the location that nearby to the bus station, walk cross , markets and city center . There is also one worker his name Aman he work at morning in the breakfast lounge I really liked his good handling , good service . And honestly all the staff are smiley and friendly that what make us feel like at home . I recommend

Pros: Staff were very helpful, hotel was in a local area but was close enough to station and all major tourist sights. We were in Florence in the middle of Italy going into lockdown due to Coronavirus, which was quite bizarre. We were worried about getting back to the UK, but apart from that it was a privilege to see Florence without many other tourists.

Cons: I wasn’t able to control the air conditioning myself and didn’t sleep well because the room was far too hot (25 degrees Celsius all through the night). Staff turned the heating off but it didn’t make a difference - it may have been due to the time of year.

Spa was amazing and so much enjoyed with a grotto hot pool, steam and sauna. Staff very friendly with great concierge services available. Shuttle bus and bicycles. Could not reccomend this hotel any higher - was best hotel of our entire trip stay and well worth the price. Wife was over the moon happy with this choice...

They truly go above and beyond for you and anticipate your needs. I genuinely could not speak higher of it and will definitely be coming back to stay again this summer.

Pros: Someone dropped out of our group the day we were due to arrive and the staff were great to reduce our rate as much as they could- not a full compensation but highly appreciated! The hotel amenities within the room are excellent; shampoo, conditioner etc, hairdryer, slippers and a list of further extras the desk can help you with if needed. Around the grounds are tables and chairs so you can sit out and enjoy the views of the river, even if the outdoor pool is closed. The indoor free spa facilities are a must! We didn't pay for any treatments but after a day of exploring, it's great to relax in the sauna or pool. The staff were more than happy to give recommendations for places to eat & things to do and called a taxi for us when we returned to the airport, only needing 5 minutes notice.

Cons: The hotel is out of the heart of Florence which isn't great in the evenings when going for dinner but there are free bikes you can use or during the day the hotel runs a free shuttle. The hotel does have its own restaurant but this was more expensive than we were willing to pay, and especially when compared to the majority of other options in the city. We had a few issues with locking our room door, which the staff did try to fix as soon as we flagged it to them. The air con/heat in the room is in a set range only between 19°c and 23°c, which personally was too warm for me.

Cons: it's just a little bit further out from the city which meant it wasn't convenient to come home and take a break and a mid afternoon nap as we love to on holidays. They do run a shuttle service, but it just wasn't going at times that suit us. Still, we walked into the city every day and got the city bus home and it was fine!

Cons: The hotel was drab and under renovation in the reception area so no bar as per the images online and we were not informed prior to arrival. There was a temporary bar on 2nd floor which was incredibly brightly lit and had zero atmosphere and was very expensive for a drink. Given the less than ideal location / decor the prices should have been adjusted accordingly. We went one evening for a nightcap but didn't bother after that as there were so many gorgeous bars in the area The breakfast was poor quality and the coffee was dreadful - tasted like instant coffee. Again we had breakfast there the 1st morning but didn't bother after that - we went out for coffee. The entire hotel felt old and tired and in dire need of a facelift. With the fantastic location and an update of decor it could be amazing. No proper seating area in the foyer - a couple of slumpy, worn leather sofas, they're missing an opportunity there. We went for a special birthday, mentioned this in the booking and no acknowledgement of this at all. And the hotel did not feel special. I would rate this as a lower end 3* not a 4*

The room we spent the night in was large, very clean and very beautiful. The view from window was excellent with Dome of Duomo in sight. The bathroom was spacious, very clean and very beautiful.

Pros: Staying at Casa Howard was one of the most pleasant experiences and a highlight of our trip thus far. The room we stayed in, the game room, also known as the terrace room was as charming as could be! The terrace is so peaceful and quiet and is such an added bonus! The location is great, too. Not too far from the train station, yet close to shops and restaurants. The staff at Casa Howard was so welcoming and very accommodating as well. We loved our stay in Florence and Casa Howard and would recommend it to anyone. I will definitely stay here the next time I travel to Florence.

Cons: Parking was a problem, the parking fee was expensive for a whole day and it would have been nice to get to know upfront which cheaper parking possibilities are available in the city or outside the city that could be reached by public transport. I did not liked the coffee in the breakfast room at all. It was not good compared to real italian coffees. The bread selection could be better and more fresh bread could be offered. Sustainability: there should be an option not to change the towels every day to contribute to sustainability goals and help to reduce waste of water and energy.

Cons: I booked a superior room that was advertised having a balcony but there was no balcony. So I paid for nothing really as I was alone so didn’t need the space that the superior room gave, I just booked it for the balcony. Also it was opposite the elevator so very noisy, I felt that I paid extra for no reason in the end.

Pros: The classic style. Old but still working (like myself). The bar was very nice and the barmen were 6 stars!!! Professional, that is they are nice, you learn with their expertise, they talk with you but never bother you.
Cons: At reception, they were very nice but not very efficient. They allways advised the same restaurants which I didn't like. There must be some good restaurants in Florence but in 4 days I had no luck. Contrary to what I was told, there is a flat rate from Florence to the airport.

Cons: The first time I was checked in a very small room, the room had trash and there was very bad smell, I immediately went to the reception and they replaced my number. The shower room was in the Soviet style. In the room, I again found garbage from past guests. The room was heard neighbors and sounds from the hallway. They replaced my number again. The last room was noisy. The hotel is old, old plumbing. On Breakfast there is always a big turn.

Cons: There was a brown out, meaning no electricity last Saturday morning and it took a bit of time before the electricity came back. The emergency lights in the room were helpful, but again, were not enough. Upon checking-in last Friday, the receptionist was talking in Italian language and we had to tell him several times that we are tourists and we do not speak the language. It took time before he really understood that we do not speak the language at all. Afterwards, he was helpful to mention about the breakfast times, hotel rules, etc.

Pros: In the garden,there is a swimming pool and bar. You can relax and have some fun with other people to share your travel experience etc. Although it is a bit louder music sound,untill 11pm.where because of my room ??? If you sleep well,may good to stay at somewhere else.

Pros: It was centrally located and the rooms were spacious with all standard amenities except the electrical outlets.
Cons: There was only (1).....seriously (1), outlet in the entire room. A mixed dorm room with 4 bunk beds and only (1) outlet doesn't make for friendly environments and happy customers. The price for the room was comparable but the foot, laundry, and drinks were completely over priced.

Pros: Everything was very easy. The private room was wonderful, large. Breakfast was great a large selection of sweet and savory. Walkable to everything. Laundry on premise.
Cons: Workout room only had cardio machines. It would be nice if there was an electrical outlet near the bed so you could charge and read at the same time.

Pros: The hostel has great amenities such as pool, extensive breakfast, a small gym and multiple bars. The rooms were also very modern, clean and had air conditioning.
Cons: There are already 20-30 busabout people on the main entry getting in the way and occasionally loosing their breakfast in the stairs nearby.

Cons: The bed was terrible, there was a bar digging into my hip/ lower back all night. One toilet and one shower for a room of 16 is not enough. There was some sort of construction or something happening on the floor above me from 5am to 9pm. No kitchen, which is dumb. It's a massive facility, so there are huge tour and school groups there all the time.

Pros: The staff were exceptional. We arrived just as the Italian authorities introduced Coronovirus Lockdown. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Giovanni on reception went above and beyond to get us to our next destination, printed all our travel documents and made phone inquiries on our behalf. Francesca also made our short stay incredibly welcoming with her friendly smile every day. Our waitress, Alice, couldn't have been more attentive, providing us with complimentary snacks knowing local restaurants were closed. True Italian generous hospitality.

Pros: The historical palace, very picturesque reception, and welcoming staff are good parts. The vintage / old / original furnishings make you feel that you are smelling what you should have from Florence. Not very close to city center but in a distance of an easy walk just right out of city jam. I will consider staying there again.

Receptionist spent time showing us where best tourist sites were to visit and restaurant recommendations. Could walk to all landmarks but was at furthest end of the main centre so feet tired at end of day. Has shop bars and restaurants close by if you dont stay in hotel.

Pros: Great service and nice rooms. Located slightly away from the noisy city centre but its a walking city and within 15-20min walk you're anywhere you want to be. Concierge recommended excellent restaurants for us and took care of reservations.

Cons: It is not a matter of cleaning, because the rooms are clean enough, but the rooms itself need renovation, especially the paint on the wall that makes the beautiful room seem dirty. This does not depend on the hotel, because it is Florence that does not allow you to park and it was well explained in the website. but for whom travels by car, hotel does not have a parking spot.
