Cons: Poor locations of outlets in rooms. For older people difficult light switch system/technology. Expensive breakfast buffet. Front desk staff could be more helpful with explaining things, e.g. complicated German parking garage system, to foreign guests. Expected more from a luxury hotel.

Cons: I have nothing serious. Maybe you need to add another waffle maker. One waffle maker is not enough at all - there was a crowd of inpatient and hungry people aroung waffle table. ;) Also, 4 minutes as a recommended time before removing waffle from "pan" is more than neccessary. 3 minute is OK.

Cons: I did an online advance check in and asked for a high floor. My confirmation email said I was confirmed on the 6th floor. When I arrived and checked in they gave me room 202 on the second floor. I don't know why my confirmed request was not honored.

Pros: The breakfast was your typical german breakfast fare. They did have pancakes to order for the kids which were tasty but were not advertised or offered. I just happen to see another table that had them and proceeded to ask the host where I could find them. The front desk staff was very helpful with giving directions and dining suggestions. The location is perfect and the parking garage a plus. Not really at a 5 star standard with finishings and amenities. It's more like a 4 star hotel in a 5 star location.

Cons: We stayed in a two level/two bedroom suite. The finishings and amenities were lack luster. The rooms were very bland and lacked any type of decor. The kids room looked like they threw two twin beds against the wall and a couple of bookcases for storage. The kitchen had a tea and coffee pot but did not have any starter tea bags or coffee available. I guess you are supposed to pack your own? There were two bottles of water sitting on the dining table with a sign that each cost 4.50 euro. I have NEVER been to a 4 or 5 star hotel in which they charge you for bottled water.

It is no more than a 5 minute relaxed walk to the city centre. Spacious cozy rooms, the writing desc in the room is located behind the TV which means that if one person is asleep the other can still use the desk if needed. Good bathroom, all is new, especially like the big professional hairdrier. Amazing breakfast, a lot of varieties to eat - hot, cold, sheesed, sausage, vegerables, friuts, deserts. And apart from other hotels even when the breakfast is ending - the trays are still full with food. We were leaving early on the last morning and the hotel provided us with a very generous lunchbox - you have both breakfast and lunch with them. Everyone in the hotel are very polite. Great place to stay in Dresden

Cons: I really wish they'd had a true double bed rather than two twins shoved together -- not comfortable for cuddling! The staff was very nice but didn't know what was around the area (i.e. they had no idea where the nearest grocery was -- two within a block of the hotel; also didn't know anything about the Dresden Marathon - even that it was happening the weekend we were there). Our room was an inner one with a "view" over the breakfast area (the lights woke us up early); also first thing in the morning there was a smell of cigarette smoke (maybe from the venting of the smoking section in the restaurant/bar area?). The curtains were falling off but they were fixed later during our stay. Shower in a narrow tub is problematic.

Cons: When booking the hotel I chose the option of a big double bed. I took this hotel specifically for this, other hotels were cheaper but had not one big bed. When arriving at the hotel I have been told that there are no more big beds, we had to take 2 small beds and put them together, as simple as that! No matter what I booked! Inacceptable!!! In the morning we needed to wait 10minutes to get seated for breakfast! For a hotel 150 EUR/night this is very poor!!

Cons: Very slow check in (was clearly busy time with multiple concurrent arrivals) but front desk queue management was appalling with various people jumping queue and sluggish service. Breakfast not included and relatively expensive, but there are a couple of nearby options for bakery or fast food.

Pros: Excellent location, wonderful breakfast, I especially liked the bacon and the salmon on the breakfast menu. Staff were very helpful and smiled a lot. I had crispy duck for dinner at the hotel's restaurant one night and it was delicious.
Cons: The room was a bit tiny. But the only thing that could be improved going forward would be to put tea/coffee making facilities in the room or perhaps at least a bottle of water.

Pros: The hotel is situated just outside the central area, but there are plenty trams outside the hotel and others a few minutes walk away. The room was large with a comfy bed. The pillows were soft, but we requested some firmer pillows, which were delivered to our room promptly. The breakfast was excellent. A very large selection of hot, cold, savoury and sweet options.

Cons: They have a centrally controlled cold air system that pumped out cool air from 6am to 11pm every day, no matter what the weather outside was like. This could not be controlled in the individual rooms, so the room became a bit too cool.

Cons: It would not be so comfortable to work in the room---there was a table but no proper chair so you could work on a lap-top on the table. There was just a stool which would become very uncomfortable if you tried to work on the table for very long.

Cons: Due to the bars in the side road to the hotel, it is too loud to let the window open. Specially on the weekend when there are singers performing in the bar. The hotel interior is very old, also three rooms! The bed seems to be old as well and not anymore comfortable, very soft. The parking slot is the most expensive one we ever had traveling the world. You decently don’t get what you pay for! Talking about paying, you have to pay for WiFi in your room?! You either pay for it or you have to sign up for a membership, and then you need to book all future bookings directly on the Hilton Homepage. When we did the check out the staff didn’t even ask if we had a nice stay, that is what we are used to being asked... We think they know why. Unfortunately, we can’t recommend staying here.

Pros: The location of this hotel cannot be beat!! You are literally across the street from the tram stop and a 2 block walk to all of the main sites in the Old town. There is a large mall across the street and another about a block away. The hotel offers parking for 15 euro per night; however, our vehicle would not have fit in there (1.9m height limit). There is a LARGE parking lot across the street that is uncovered but charges only 6 euro for 24 hours. The shower is giant and the water is HOT!

Cons: The check-in process was extremely slow. It took 20 minutes to check-in the 2-3 groups in front of us which was strange as it took us just a couple of minutes.

Pros: The location of this hotel cannot be beat!! You are literally across the street from the tram stop and a 2 block walk to all of the main sites in the Old town. There is a large mall across the street and another about a block away. The hotel offers parking for 15 euro per night; however, our vehicle would not have fit in there (1.9m height limit). There is a LARGE parking lot across the street that is uncovered but charges only 6 euro for 24 hours. The shower is giant and the water is HOT!
Cons: Despite saying the property has air conditioning, do not be fooled! It is a fan that occasionally blows some stale air out. We were on the 6th floor of the hotel and had the window open to get some air, although on a Sunday night there were like 50 taxis parked outside at midnight. Unsure if there was an event or if this is a frequent occurrence but it wa NOISY and difficult to sleep. The breakfast is your typical European breakfast (Cereal, breads, meat, cheese and yogurt) was sad there wasn't even any bacon or sausage.

Pros: Rooms are clean and good. Location is nice - just 5-10 minutes away from all mail touristic attractions and the old town.
Cons: The hotel staff said there is no parking available, despite half of the hotel parking being empty. Instead, they directed me to the parking across the road of the hotel, which was 6 eur per day. Breakfast was quite bland and not tasty. Not too varied either.

Cons: It is not a hotel, it is a hostel. It is quite small, not very comfortable and has extremely thin walls and loud doors. For young people totally fine, and this is also the main audience, but hence quite loud. The Breakfast was quite bad. At the next days, we went to a coffee shop.
